seamista is so funny to me tbh. first we meet sea hawk who looks like he’s ready to serenade mermista at any given moment in time. meanwhile mermista looks like sea hawk annoys her to no end. they have this on-off relationship kinda vibe, which is kinda fun! love their interactions! but then they keep dropping these anecdotes about their relationship with no follow-up! oh, apparently sea hawk set their gondola on fire in the tunnel of love! mermista’s trying to kill sea hawk in s5 and sea hawk casually mentions ‘haha remember how you also tried to kill me the first time we met?’ and there’s is no elaboration on that! like no I wanna hear the story! at one point sea hawk, bow and swift wind are saved bc mermista taught sea hawk how to speak seagull, and it’s never brought up again.
