Best Premise (That Was Utterly Ruined By The Show)

i've got to say dangerous romance, although step by step comes in at a close second. after the second episode of dr, i was out here writing hundreds of words worth of meta, and then... well, then the show became what it unfortunately is, now. i still want to see the show that i was promised (a thriller about two poor brothers who get into hot water because of money issues and end up having to turn to crime to survive, all while the younger brother slowly falls in love with the biggest bully at school, and over the course of the show the bully needs to learn to become a better person and help sailom overcome the trust issues he should have had from growing up constantly threatened and sometimes physically abused by members of the mafia.) -20/10 stupid fucking windmills for ruining something that could have been amazing

yang and phumjai on their practice date in episode 4 of love in translation was probably the sweetest thing that happened on any bl in 2023. in the later episodes, they had many more beautiful moments together as well as some incredibly amazing physical intimacy (plus, in the extended iqiyi cut, one hell of a foreplay scene), but their sweet date before they had even confessed their feelings has stayed with me. 11/10 slices of pandan

So, I guess we’ve all had a chance to restart our hearts and get our big girl undergarments changed after seeing this:

Is this the “climax” of what Kookie has been working on since early February? He's had an agenda all this time?

Jungkook has been trying to break out of this BABY star candy, golden BABY, BABY highness, giant BABY villain bubble he’s been in forever. I feel called out, JK. Let’s not kid ourselves though. He’s been grown up for a few years now.

JK biases/stans have always been horny over him and see him as his My Time performance sex god. It took me a while to view Kookie in that light. The muscles, the boxing, the tattoos, the piercings do not tickle that "sensation" in me as easily as it does for the JK biases. I'm resistant to his "charms."

I do love him but Jimin is the one who makes me think and feel things I won’t detail here. As I said to my bestie the other day: "I don't know why I feel that way about that skinny little thing." Seriously, the idea of a bias is so interesting though isn't it? So, just saying, the following is my point of view as I think out loud....

When I first saw this image:

… for a split second my brain registered "Jimin" and then went "huh?"…. hmmmmm. Of course it also went, wow, naked. Also I thought, let's get it JK... bring it.

And then upon seeing the rest of the images and his behind the scenes video I had to sit with it and think about it... the other similarities in the other images: the spikes, the grainy photo effect... very intriguing. They (Jimin and Jungkook) really do play off each other don't they?

As I'm processing all of this, I think about what I know:

They have a team of stylists. They have a team for content. They have teams for each member. They have staff. It's the "big machine" that Namjoon mentioned once. And the big machine all work in tandem.

What I’m assuming:

The teams may work on all or some of the members. For instance some people on the style team may work on Jimin and Jungkook but not on RM’s team. We don't know though. Might be one team who works on every single one of them and individuals are just delegated to doing the tasks.

More specifically, and also for example… I know Bit and Boot (the hair stylists) travels with them overseas. So I am going to assume the Bit n Boot team consists of a point person and several others who style their hair. Or maybe they are one and the same person. Or maybe several stylists. I don’t know. I'm assuming more than one because when they are overseas they need others to tend to the other members needs elsewhere.

I know the wardrobe team in the past has explained they get samples from clothing companies or design houses and they catalog them for future use. They meet with the members (at the time I saw this information the solo era had not begun yet) and determine what sort of look or concept will suit a particular theme. This is a very creative process in my opinion. And this one particularly would be involved in the members' solo concepts because other than the actual set surrounding the subject, its the clothing that conveys the vibe and theme.

So all that being said… seeing JK’s images very similar to Jimin’s is so interesting to me. I feel 99% sure it was not a coincidence nor was it incompetence or the ridiculous claim of “plagiarism.” I saw JK's smile when he saw Jimin commenting during his lives. I saw it when he was watching Jimin on tv. I saw him say wait until midnight when something amazing is coming (SMF MV) so don't try to tell me now that he's undermining Jimin's work.

There’s something else going on here that we don’t know what the goal is yet but copying Jimin is not it. JK is conveying his concept. I am a big proponent of the members making the choices and decisions for their solo work. I am 99% sure this was done intentionally. But why?

HOWEVER. THAT BEING SAID. I recall how much Kookie has been watching Jimin over the years. At least ten years now. And I feel strongly that Jimin has influenced JK tremendously. I feel like JK has learned how to be empathic and he’s learned about work ethic (though putting that into motion for him looks much different than it does for Jimin). And if Kookie thinks Jimin is sexy when he does [insert whatever it is Jimin does that turns Kookie on] then he might try to emulate that? Remember, I'm just thinking out loud here.

Or are they really just flipping us the bird and doing what they know turns each other on? That would be a fabulous joke on us. I would love it, to be honest. Jungkook has been vocal in the past whenever Jimin has shown his sexy side and he's been pretty obviously obsessed with him in his lives lately too.

Anyway...

We may never know, it might be a mystery forever why the image concepts are so similar. We can make up all the theories we want (and we do) and make assumptions and “put two and two together” reading between the lines, but knowing exactly what was going through their heads is something we’ll never know unless they tell us.

Is there something in the near future that this is all leading to? I guess we have to wait and see… (don’t you hate it when someone says that?)

Maybe it will be for the long awaited Jikook collab? I had a video concept that I sketched out roughly for my bestie yesterday but now I'm going to elaborate on it: JKxJM collab, the MV opens with Jimin stepping out of his Like Crazy MV set with the mud splattered pants and JK stepping out of his Seven MV set in his oversized outfit and they start taking off their clothes but underneath each layer are their "look alike" clothes and there is layer upon layer they have to take off and its comical because there are so many couple outfits they've worn over the years, until finally they get down to the white tank tops and boxer shorts and then they break it down in the mother of all dance breaks that will break the internet and slough off the dead meat of the fandom and then when the song is over, they walk off the set arms over each other in a giggling fit.

Why hasn't BigHit hired me yet? My brain is full of these uniquely creative ideas that will never see the light of day.

Still The Wonder Duo

“Remember when we were little and we had planned to become heroes together? We would play heroes all day long. You’d always wanna be All Might and you would let me be All Might too. It was nice when we would switch who was All Might. But even on days when I was All Might I still looked at you; still followed your lead. You were my hero even then. You were so overwhelming to watch, but I could never look away.

“I remember when we got our All Might trading cards too. I was so happy we’d gotten the same one. I knew we’d be together forever because that’s how little kids' brains work. We got the same card at the same time and it proved that destiny was real.”

Izuku sniffles and eyes shift to the card currently laying visible under black and orange gloved hands. Izuku’s own hands cover a majority of them and he can barely see the blood on the corner.

“Destiny is a bitch.” He whispers to himself and shakes his head trying to quell the still steady flowing tears down his cheeks. “You think you’ll get All Might to sign it wherever you both go? You know he will.”

Deku swallows tightly, lump in his throat, but he refuses to start sobbing. He needs to have clear enough eyes right now. Needs to keep soaking in blonde hair, the angles of pale skin, the new scar covering the right side of a face he’s known since they were children. Take in the sharp point of a nose and the curve of lips he’s only recently discovered the taste of; he reaches to cradle the cool sharp jaw of his childhood best friend in his palm. His other hand grips tightly to black and orange gloves, placed over a nonmoving stomach.

“We didn’t even get to go on a date yet.” He wishes red eyes would snap open at this confession and Kacchan would glare at him tightly and grumble: “all the good places got destroyed, shitty nerd. But let’s ditch these fuckers and i’lll make something back at the dorms before the extras show up and ruin it”.

Izuku would have laughed and used OFA to get them back to the dorms. They’d get to the kitchen and Kacchan would have him start cutting vegetables for whatever meal he’d make for him. And then yell at Deku when he didn’t like the cuts he’d make. He imagines Kacchan would wrap his arms around him, hands placed over his own to guide him in a demonstration of proper cutting and chopping techniques. And once Izuku would have completed his task he’d have sat on the counter next to the stove while Kacchan cooked for them - stealing as many kisses as he could. Then they’d move to eat at the island, ankles wrapped around the other. He’d try to steal Kacchan’s food, and they’d argue that it was the same food in each bowl. But Izuku would want Kacchan’s because Kacchan’s food was always better. He’d have those wonderful, bright, red eyes on him again. He’d have been happy just to see the intensity of Kacchan’s eyes bare into his soul for one last time. He would have -

“Kacchan - ” Izuku chokes on his next breath, because its a vision of a life they won’t have anymore. One he’ll never have again. Because the person he’s supposed to share his life with is lying before him in a casket. For someone so lively in life it's terrifying and wrong to see him so still. “Kacchan - “ He chokes again, chest tight and constricting. The tears are coming in stronger.

He rests his chin on his bicep. It’s an awkward angle, but he needs to be able to breathe in the caramel, smoke and sweat of Kacchan’s orange jacket without moving his eyes away from his face.

Izuku had been sitting outside the dorms with Kacchan, enjoying one of the last nights before they were sent out to fight. The late may nighttime air had turned chilly and Izuku had just about to suggest they head inside when Kacchan shucked off his favorite orange jacket and draped it over Izuku’s visibly shivering shoulders.

“But what about you?” He’d asked.

Kacchan had shrugged, “I run hot,”

Izuku hid a smile into the collar and breathed in deep. “Kacchan gave me his jacket.”

“Yeah, well,” He’d rolled his eyes, like it didn’t matter but Izuku could just make out a blush across Kacchan’s cheeks, “Don’t expect it everytime, Deku.”

“Okay.” He giggled into the coat.

Kacchan had rolled his eyes again, then lifted his nearest arm. Deku had taken the invitation and scooted the half a foot over to curl up into Kacchan’s chest.

“After all this is over, I’m going to date you so damn hard.”

“You can’t make dating into a competition, Kacchan?”

“Fucking watch me.”

“I already do.”

Kacchan had huffed in embarrassment, but Izuku knew he liked it. He shifted up in his hold and kissed what he could reach - the edge of Kacchan’s jaw. Kacchan of course didn’t think that was enough and had turned his head to press his lips firmly to Izuku’s. Izuku had felt like he was in heaven; the happiest he’d felt in a long time.

Now he’s struggling to find those kernels of happiness as the body under his hands remains cold.

“I wish giving you your jacket back would make you warm again. But I know your pride won’t let you take it back.”

Izuku stares at Katsuki Bakugou and studies his features till his breathing has returned to a relatively normal pace and the tears are no longer destroying his image of victory.

He doesn’t know how long he sits there.

But he knows it’s not long enough.

“Izuku,” A hand appears on his shoulder and Deku jumps and turns to look into a grey and blue eye. Shoto. Next to him stands Kirishima, his own red eyes - not the red that Izuku is desperate to see though - are filled with unshed tears. “It’s time to go, Izuku.”

Fear rises up quickly in his chest and he chokes once more on his breath, “What?” He turns to look at Kacchan, waiting to see an eyes roll and for him to tell them both to ‘fuck off’ till he was ready. But all that remains is a peacefully blank expression. “But… but…” He can feel the panic rise, “It hasn’t been long enough. We only just got here… we can’t…”

“Izuku,” Shoto squeezes his shoulder, “It’s been 5 hours.”

“NO.” Izuku shakes his head. He can’t look away from Kacchan. He has to be with him. Screw Kacchan’s pride, Izuku will walk with him till they get to his resting place. “No, it’s not time. I can’t leave him.”

“We have to go, Midobro.” Kirishima sniffles. “They have to take him back.”

“They can’t have him,” He growls and shoots his friends a glare so sharp he sees them take a tentative step back. Good. His eyes go back to Kacchan.

He hears shifting next to him, Shoto’s hands leave his shoulders; but he doesn’t look away. Trying to memorize blonde hair and how it sits just so, the way it felt to hold Kacchan’s cheek, the arch of eyebrows when doing something stupid, the way pink would tinge across his nose when Izuku would stare too long. He wants to see it now.

“Midoriya, It’s time to go.” A new voice says.

“No.”

“Midoriya, I will lift you out of here. Let’s not make a scene.”

“I don’t care. I can’t just leave him. He promised.”

“Promised what?”

Izuku can feel the tears welling up again, throat tightening and his words are voiced just above a whisper, “That we’d do this together. Side by side. He promised.”

“Okay, okay.” The new voice soothes, “He will always be with you. No matter what. He’ still with you, tied to your soul. So it’s okay to leave; because he has never left you.”

Izuku is surprised at the words and turns to look to his left to see Aizawa-sensei squatting near his knee. His eyes are red and not from quirk use. They shine like he just put eye drops in. “Sensei,” Izuku whispers.

“Come on, Midoriya. One more goodbye.”

Izuku gasps and turns back to Kacchan. Goodbye? No. no no no no no. he can’t say goodbye. It’s not time yet. They stil have so much they need to do.

He didn’t realize he was shaking his head and muttering until Aizawa places a hand on his knee, “You have to. It’s time.”

“NO!” He shouts. He can’t he can’t he can’t he can’t -

“We can do this the hard way or you can walk out of here on your own.”

He doesn’t remember what he answers, just tries to touch Kacchan one more time. Maybe he tried to wake him? Maybe he tried to kiss ice cold lips one last time. Tries to run his fingers through golden hair onc last time. But one second he’s sitting and the other he’s benign held tight to Aizawa’s chest and carried away from Kacchan.

“Kacchan!!” He screeches, tyring to see past Aizawa’s shoulder. “NO! No you can’t make me leave him! He can’t leave yet!!”

He tries to push away, but he’d been pretty week from the fighting and hadn’t been eating much since the final battle. He was weak. Kacchan would be so mad at him. Well he’s mad at him too.

“YOU PROMISED!” He yells, tears are flowing freely now, blurring his vision, “You fucking promised we do this together! You’re not allowed to leave me! You hear me! Please!!”

They’re getting further away, kacchan drifting farther away from him. He can make out other people on the edge of his peripheral; but they don’t matter. No else matter right now..

“Take me back! You can’t leave me! Kacchan please! Please please please! You’re mine they can’t have you!”

He cries and tries to escape Aizawa’s hold but his hold is too tight. Izuku gets one last glance at Kacchan’s bright blonde hair and fitted in his hero suit - looking as gorgeous as ever. As beautiful as he should be as Izuku’s symbol of victory. And then they turn a corner and he’s gone.

“NO!” He screeches once more, “Kacchan! Kacchan Kacchan Kacchan - “ He cries. He sobs. He can’t do this without him. It hurts without him. They were supposed to do this together.

“It’s going to be okay, Midoriya. It’s going to be okay.” Aizawa tries to soothe him.

“Kacchan - “ Izuku sobs into his Sensei’s shoulder. He can only say the name of his future. He thinks of what could have been. Sobs for the person who should be holding him currently. Sobs for his closest person. Sobs for a boy who was gone too soon; for a boy who was only just coming into himself.

Izuku passes out against Aizawa’s shoulder, Kacchan’s name on his lips.

Pain... Unbelievable pain, it was something you could never describe how painful it is. The needles. the knives... everything. Giving you the codename 90P13, tattooing it onto your chest. After it was over they tossed you into a cage. Not even being gentle with you. Looking around your surroundings it was scary...

Looking across your cage you saw a figure come to you. This made you even more scared.

"It's okay" She spoke to you softly "Your here with us now"

She seemed nice... But you were still scared.

"Hey, it's a new guy" Another creature spoke up, It had wheels attached to its sides and massive teeth. "What kind of thing are you ?? you got some sort of glowy eyes

"Eyes, face, mouth" Another creature who shared your cage curiously walked to you, it had six legs and a metal mouth. "Does it words ??"

"It's ok friend, Don't let them scare you" The nice creature spoke again.

One last creature came up to you. like the nice creature it was standing on it's two legs. It also looked like it had a mask on its face. "Are you ok pal ??" It spoke softly to you.

You continued to shudder, feeling overwhelmed by everything that had happened. You open your mouth and you shakenly say.

"H...H...Hurts..."

You were talking about your head, they did a lot of bad stuff which made it hurt really really bad.

The mask creature came up to you, dabbing his tongue on a cloth and ever so gently dabbed the blood away from your temple.

"It's ok, Your gonna be okay."

This tenderness was something you haven't felt in a while since it all began. Over time the 5 of you formed a close bond with each other, But you were the closest to the masked creature, You always played games with him, laughed with him and snuggled with each other when sleeping to be safe.

"It really is good to have friends"

One night after the masked creature came back from spending the day with the sire. He was telling everyone about how he saw the sky from outside.

"Is sky ??" The 6 legged creature asked about the ceiling being the sky.

"No, that's not sky. That's a ceiling. But sire's making a new world for all of us, and when we get there. There will be sky and it will be beautiful and forever.

"Wow" You all said, just already imagining seeing the sky. With your friends too. It would be very exciting.

"I have been thinking." The big teeth creature spoke up.

"'Bout what ??" The masked creature asked.

"Oh, Nothing in particular. But I thought, since you guys are my closest friends, and my only friends, You might be interested in knowing that I have been thinking."

"That's cool" You smiled. Looking up at the ceiling imagining the sky.

"I've been thinking too" The nice creature spoke. "About something more singular. When Sire moves us to the new world, we're gonna need names. I mean, 89Q12... It's not really a name. So I would like my name to be... Lylla."

"Lylla" All of you said agreeing to the name.

"That's a pretty name Lylla" The masked creature turned to her, smiling.

"Thank you" She smiled back.

"I think my name shall be teefs, because, although we all do have them, Mine are definitely the most prominent" The big teethed creature smiled.

Lylla and the masked creature giggled, agreeing with the name.

"Me be called floor, Because me is lying on floor." The 6 legged creature said.

"You're lying on a floor, so your name is floor ??" Lylla smiled

Everyone laughed, agreeing with the names before it was only you and the masked creature.

"I think... My name... shall be... wrench !!" You said confidently.

"Wrench" The masked creature said enthusiatically

"Because wrench's are tough and I'm tough"

"What about you friend ??" Lylla turned to the masked creature

"Someday, I'm gonna make great machines that fly, And me and my friends are gonna go flyin' together into the forever and beautiful sky. Lylla, and teefs, and floor, and wrench, and me... Rocket"

"Rocket" they all said softly.

"It really is good to have friends"

But it went to a huge downfall after. Rocket found out that Sire was never going to bring them outside. They were just mere tests, to create the perfect person. In the morning he plans to kill all of them, With quick thinking he starts to make a keycard and gets everyone out. But the High Evolutionary knew this would happen and killed all his friends. Angry and heartbroken, he lunged at him and scratched the scut out of his face, disfiguring him. He then managed to escape counter-earth, but at what cost.

Many years later.

Rocket was sitting on the steps of the Guardians base on Knowhere, they had recently just bought it off the collector and made it their permanent base. As Rocket was peacefully sitting there, listening to the Zune. He noticed a rather large figure not far off staring at him briefly. He noticed this person had. been here for almost a week and it started to creep him out. So with that he headed to the figure.

"Look pal I don't know where you are but quit staring at me before i blast ya into the next..."

He then noticed something vaguely familiar. Those eyes... he's seen them somewhere before.

"Have we met before ??"

The hooded figure then gently lifted the hood off his head, revealing it made rocket's eyes go wide. Growing teary eyed.

"Wrench ??"

"It's been a while rocket.."

"Oh my flark wrench !!!" Rocket lunged at him and hugged his neck tightly, his best friend was alive. He was alive !!!

"How.. how did you ??"

"Yeah... I've got a lot of explaining to do, can I get you a drink ??"

Upon the time they sit at the bar, Wrench explains that he faked his death during the whole shootout and escaped shortly after. Having to survive on his own, he changed a lot physically and mentally.

"And then once I heard about the heroes of xandar, I saw you on the holo tv."

Wrench took another sip of his drink and sighed dejectedly.

"I'm really sorry buddy, I didn't mean to cause you this much hurt on you. I wanted to find you as soon as I was out. But I was so scared that he would find me..."

Rocket took another sip of his drank and gently rubbed his forearm.

"I... I understand why, But I'm slightly mad... and... aah just a bunch of mushy stuff I can't try and explain."

Wrench chuckled.

"Can... I make up all that lost time ??"

He waited patiently for an answer until Rocket twitched a smile. Wrench knew he had a lot of time to make up for Rocket. But for Rocket, he was just glad that he had his best friend back. His bested friend in all of the galaxy.

Compilation of Bad Kisses in BLs (Part 1)

mind you, this is only for the ones i’ve seen. if i put every single bad kiss out there, this post would go on forever.

i strongly believe a kiss, whether is good or bad, can make or break a show and in my personal opinion, a lot of them fell off simply because of the fishy kisses. they are truly hard to watch, so much so that you have to look away because they are ugly and this is something we CAN and SHOULD blame both the actors and the company. sometimes, workshops are not enough.

i also believe that these actors shouldn’t play dumb. like, they HAVE to know there’s gonna be a kiss at some point. put in the work, pls.

LET’S GET IT

1. My Engineer (MekBoss)

at the time, i didn’t think it was that bad. i just thought they needed some work, a little bit of help because clearly it wasn’t that good either. now, i just see two walls kissing and we might not see these walls kissing ever again.

2. YYY (NottPun)

imagine watching this mess of a show, they promise you a kiss, and once you’re sure you’re gonna get it, they literally bring the sun out, block the view and that’s how the season ends. but honestly? the little i can see it’s still awful.

3. YYY 2 (NottPun)

well... there it is. no words.

4. 2gether (SarawaTine)

maturing is accepting the fact that 2gether had two straight bros playing these characters and that’s how they kissed and then the high five. it was a bad kiss, bestie. we were all just blinded by the pandemic and though this was high cinema.

5. SOTUS (ArthitKongpop)

i’m not afraid of the girlies still caught up on this show. this was a bad first kiss and i’m ready to die on this hill. granted, this was 2016, the actors were still iffy on playing queer characters, they were calling each other wife and the obsession with pink milk was at its peak. gmmtv had $5 and a dream and you could tell.

6. ‘Cause you are my boy/My Tee (TeeMork)

this was frankdrake’s first roles and you could tell. you could also tell that they were in the trenches because everything was bad with this show and i truly think it was a cry for help. they did the best they could with what they had but there was no way in hell they could save this show and honestly, i’m not surprised that their first kiss was like this. it goes well with the quality of the show.

7. Love By Chance (TinCan)

and it doesn’t get better after this. i’m gonna be the devil’s advocate, mean actually tried to make these kisses better but there was no helping with this couple. a mess.

8. Oxygen (SoloGui)

as far as first kisses go... yeah. granted, oxygen wasn’t really that good either but they could have salvage this show with a decent kiss. nothing. nada. it was a let down.

9. Make it right (FuseTee)

make it right paved the way for angle kisses.

now listen, i’m pretty sure boom and peak were 17 or something when they filmed this and back in the day, this was already too much. like, cheewin was pushing it by directing this show. still, it has to be on this list (it’s not like it hasn’t changed anyways. boom and peak would never EVER kiss. this was the closest we could get).

10. Where your eyes linger

i mean, come on. COME ON. i know this was like the first kbl and you know, they paved the way. give credit where credit is due and all that but LOOK. it’s bad. it was a good show, for the plot that it had and the limited time, it was good. BUT THE KISS WAS... it was a letdown. 

11. Gen Y (MarkKit)

how are you gonna be a senior in the industry and still kiss like this? kimcop are one of those settled ships that are hard to break and to ship with someone else. with that in mind, you would think they would do wonders. gen y was a dumpster fire and so were the kisses.

12. WISH YOU: Your melody in my heart

this is where you start to understand that it’s not about the production or how short kbls are and that’s why the kisses are so bad. no, it’s because workshops apparently don’t exist in korea and they put these men to kiss without practicing first. this is the product. this is what you get.

13. Color Rush

i know some of you call it the best kbl out there because the plot was different, which is true, but like... their lips are not even touching... so yeah. next.

14. Nobleman Ryu’s wedding

i’m pretty sure this was supposed to be an angle kiss and they changed their mind at the last minute and we got... this. i mean, compared to others in this list is not that bad but is it good? far from it. this was also the first period kbl we got and it was kind of forgettable too. it was very low budget and you could see it with the kiss

15. What Zabb Man

BOTH COUPLES because both of them were such a let down. i was here mainly because of the toxics from gen y and with the crazy tension they had going on, i thought they would go off. not even that. don’t even get me started on the main couple. the manipulation that went down between them UGH but i can’t even get a good kiss out of this mess anyways.

Ever since you had known Valek, you knew he was a real softie. Around his followers and subjects he was dark, and appeared to be quite scary at points, he was the very first and strongest vampire after all. But behind that mask he portrayed, he could be himself around you. You were his life mate, even though you were human, he loved you with every fibre of his being. He adored you, worshiped the ground you walked on and never went a day or night without telling you he loved you. You loved him with all your heart, and always felt so safe with him, despite of what he is. You had both discussed your future together, you didnt have friends or family in the human world, so being away from other humans didnt really bother you.

Most vampires you met had more morals and manners than most humans you had ever been around. When you both discussed what you wanted, the talk of 'turning' came up. You wanted to become a vampire like him, but not yet. You wanted to wait until you turned 30, the same age Valek was when be became a vampire. You had another 4 years ahead of you, and in those years you could explore and see everything you wanted to see around the world that included being in daylight. Valek was hundreds of years old, and was also richer than anyone you had ever known. Being his life mate meant he wanted to spoil you and give you everything you needed to travel and experience what you wanted to. You felt a little guilty at first, using his money to go and enjoy yourself without him. But he did point out to you that you were giving your life to become a vampire like him when the time was right.

He told you that choosing to spend the rest of eternity with him was all the repayment he could ever desire, just having the woman he loved by his side forever. So for now, you were human, and couldn't be around him in the daylight. But neither of you minded, because you were a night person, and Valek of course was a vampire. The last few days Valek had been acting a little strange, he would have sneaky conversations with his friend, and wouldnt let you in on what was going on, it was all very secretive. One night, Valek comes into your shared bedroom and sits beside you as your sat up against the bed reading a book. "My darling, I have a suprise for you" "A suprise? Hmm? Is it a garlic based dish you cooked up?" You asked playfully, making Valek chuckle to himself.

"You always know how to make me smile my love" "Its a super power of mine" "One of your many powers. Now come with me my beautiful treasure" he takes you lovingly by the hand and leads you out to the black limo parked up outside his large black mansion. He opens the door for you like a gentleman and holds your hand as you take a seat. Getting in after you, the driver takes you both for a ride, it's about 20 minutes before he stops. "We are hear my dear" He gets out of the car first, then opens your door and again gives you his hand as he helps you out. It seems that you had arrived at what looks like an abandoned national park, during the day it would be full of colourful flowers and smells of cut grass, but at night, it seemed to have a peaceful stillness in the air.

"Where are we Valek? Its pitch black out hear" "All will be revealed my treasure" He holds your hand and you walk together over the grass, unable to see much infront of you, luckily your boyfriend had night vision. It was another few minutes before you turned a corner past a few trees and right before you is a small area of green grass, covered in little candles all placed along the floor in the shape of a heart. Inbetween each candle lies a red rose, making it look absolutely beautiful. In the trees around you were many fairy lights shaped like little diamonds and above you the moon was full and very bright, but not bright enough to outshine the stars, that sparkled in the sky. You and Valek walk into the rose and candled heart, and you cant belive how beautiful it is. "Oh Valek, this is beautiful! Did you do this?" "I did my darling, it's my suprise to you" your not looking at Valek as you say this, your busy looking at the beauty around you. And Valek is happy your distracted, because that gave him the couple of seconds he needed, to get down on one knee behind you.

"Why did you go to so much-" when you turn to face him, your words cut short, as you see him on his knee and reaching into his black cape, slowly pulling out a little black box, a smile beaming on his face. "Oh my god Valek...." "Y/N, my beautiful treasure, I love you with every breath I take. When I finaly found you, I felt like I was brought back to life. For so long I was alone, frightened. Not just of the world I was in, but myself. Falling in love with you has changed me, you saved me Y/N. I'm no longer frightened of the world, because my whole world is right infront of me, and it's more unique and beautiful than I could ever have imagined" His fingers run over the top of the box, slowly pulling up the lid and revealing an engagment ring, with a beautiful ruby. "Y/N, my soul mate, my beautiful darling. Will you do me the honour, of becoming my wife?"

Your heart feels like it's about to explode, you had never felt more loved, more wanted and you were finaly going to marry your bestfriend and love of your life. "Yes Valek! Yes I'll marry you!" He smiles wide and jumps up to hold you in a passionate embrace, sharing with you one of the most tender and beautiful kisses you had ever experienced. You were both smiling so much as he takes the ring out and places it on your finger, it was the perfect size, and it was so beautiful. You couldn't help yourself, you pulled him in for another kiss, this one much longer and more passionate. You stayed in that moment for as long as you could with him, all while the candles burned, the moon shone and the stars sparkled bright above you both.

He said almost shouted each words

"you know we can't ,if you can do it well I can't we just going to overthink a lot and might not handle it properly"

You could really tell seokmin is deeply hurt but also angry at the fact that you are now doubting the relationship and not trusting him

"dont you trust me y/n? Dont you have a Faith in our relationship? You know it deep down that we can handle it! Trust me baby we can, stop this nonsense please i loveyou so much don't do this to me"

He was tearing up now seeing him like this makes her even more guilty

"im sorry seokmin but i made up my mind ,Im breaking up with you and that's it i hope you find a better person for you"

"you're the only person who's better to me! I dont understand your reason right now baby im not agreeing of us breaking apart I can't let you....go"

He kneeled down on her while crying making her teared up a bit it's not her intention to hurt him it's just she have to do this for his own good

"goodbye seokmin I'm really sorry"

She turn away from the man and Walked away leaving the poor man behind in his knees crying for her to come back

"man it's been a 7 months aren't you moved on already?" Jeonghan reminded me

Then all of a sudden a smack came to his head he turn to see the pretty woman

Hey Anon!

Even though your ask is you letting out frustration about what I’d like to call “Just another day in Jimin’s social media life” (... which needs a post of its own …), you know what? Please allow me to use your Ask to address Toxic TKKers for a second, as I haven’t yet. You’ve called them cultists, which I’d say is extremely spot on. Others refer to them as the subgroup, probably in order not to call them something much worse 😬. Yet, because I am me and I like to name everything … like everything … I’ll go ahead and simply and quickly refer to them as TTKKers ( = Toxic TKKers).

Now please be warned; I’ll be taking a bit of a long route to talk about them, as I feel I need to start from somewhere because this, like everything, is part of a story, which in this case, unfortunately, somewhere along the way lost its plot and took a turn for the worse. I should probably also point out that everything following from this point on is entirely: my opinion and my speculation. Okay? So let’s start.

Let’s start with TaeKookJiHope aka Team Party~Party! Or as I like to think of them; Touchy-Touchy Line. Out of all the members of this group, I believe that by now, it has been made sufficiently clear that they like to hang out together as a quartet. But one big thing I believe they have in common, is that they are also quite physical with showing most of all their emotions, positive and negative, ranging from affection all the way to disapproval.

Now you may or may not have noticed, but I have initially referred this quartet as TaeKookJiHope, which I did intentionally, as I wanted to split them in two groups within the Touch-Touchy Line; Taekook - Silent Touchy-Touchy Duo and JiHope - Talkative Touchy-Touchy Duo. Don’t get me wrong, all 4 of them are by nature rather shy when put in situations they are not familiar with, but within a situation of comfort Jimin and Hobi have no qualms in expressing their thoughts using words, whereas Tae and JK are always very much on the silent side of life, reason why perhaps, their need/want to touch is further heightened, maybe as a way to compensate where their words were lacking. 

This probably also explains why Taekook and JiHope get along so well, for example pre-debut and up to 2015 TaeKook or for example JiHope being roommates and wanting to forever be roommates. On that friendship, confidant and comfort level each duo was actually a perfect match. However, with time passing, for reasons we aren’t going to discuss on this post, Taekook began to meet some sort of friction.

So now let’s concentrate on our Silent Touchy-Touchy Duo; TaeKook. As also expressed by Tae and JK themselves, the two of them grew distant with time which made things slightly awkward between the two of them, but in my opinion, the person who was mostly affected by this situation was Tae and this is where the story becomes unfortunate. 

At some point Tae went through a lot. A LOT. But somehow he was able to regain some sort of normalcy, as well as the will to maybe want to mend a particular bond, which in this case was the one with Jungkook. And here is where it gets even more complicated. Try to think of Tae as the big brother that is trying to regain the affection of his little brother.

A little brother, who in the meantime isn’t so little anymore, has maybe hobbies and habits he isn’t aware of, fears and dreams he wishes he knew. He perhaps didn’t necessarily want for things to be the way they were, I think he wanted to be back in a situation where they could feel comfortable around each other again. And even though being physically affectionate is the way that Tae knows best (as well as acting in imaginary scenarios), being touched doesn't always sit very well with JK, so Tae busted his ass.

They went on a trip together, had meals together where they would have “adult talks”, showing interest in his hobbies such as boxing. Tae has been trying for real. BUT ALAS, each and every single of his attempts at rebuilding a normal relationship with his dongsaeng has been taken, smashed to the ground, stepped one a thousand times, picked up and thrown as far as possible off the tallest cliff by every single TTKKer to this day. 

At some point, when Tae and JK were having their bit of distance TTKKers decided to write their own story, since the story they thought they had abruptly stopped. And instead of assessing the situation at hand, they ignored it all and kept writing this imaginary story where every touch, stare, breathe, etc that Tae and JK shared in each other’s proximity was enough. Since there was nothing, it had to be enough. Hence, here we are, in the present days, where simply having Tae or/and JK turning in each other’s direction is instantly, and can only be nothing but a secret message, a vow to eternity and a declaration of love all at once, which I bet is deep-down frustrating AF, for all parties involved.

TW is on fire every single day, YT edits morph content in an attempt to mislead every other day and Tumblr has a lurker section waiting to attack at any time and  all of this in the name of a desperately and carefully crafted folie à deux? Because, and I will never get tired of saying this but, me thinking that Jikook are a thing, is me thinking that Jikook are a thing. Nothing less, nothing more. If I turned out to be wrong, my world would still turn, but the world of a TTKKer (and all other toxic counterparts btw) … What happens when the story can’t be continued?

I suppose we’ll find out eventually and ... sorry for using your ask Anon to write this long-ass post.

welcome home

here is another YW x Malorn little blurb because bestie @meursaulty ‘s art inspires me sm!!!

its a bit sad but I promise the ending makes it worth it!! also plz read this with a grain of salt its one of the first things I’ve written in a week or so… 💔

Lately I haven't had much time to stop by my dorm. Which means I don't see Malorn too often either. The Arcanum was nice enough to give me another one, and I offered it to Malorn as a new place to hang out in hopes we could see each other more, but he rejected it. He said: 'It wouldn’t be the same'. Not quite sure what that means, but either way, he continues to stop by the dorm in Ravenwood. I try to take some time to find him there, but lately I've been met with bad luck.

But I started notice something about the place has changed a little bit. Which can mean he didn’t clean up, or, that he got something new as a gift and left it there for me to find. Always bringing a smile to my face even when he's not there.

Something did start to bug me though. It was almost as if he started to avoid me, or he became super busy himself. Always rambling about the influx of new necromancers, or the new program Merle wants to introduce into the school. Then quickly running off as if it became his top priority. It didn’t bother me in the beginning. I get it, I'm very busy these days too so I can't really blame him for that either. But it started to nag at me more and more as it happened. What happened to making time for each other, what happened to all the gifts in the dorm room, what happened to when he would smile at me. It became all I could think about, a broken tape recorder forever playing in my mind and heart.

Soon I couldn’t really face him anymore. I stopped seeking him out, and never heard any resistance from it either. But I could never try to forget him, the tape recorder stuck on the play button. Memories filtering through it with cracks and spots missing. Me missing from each frame, but him being in the center. Bearing the beautiful smile I dreamed and longed for daily. Maybe if I said something, maybe if I told him how much I actually did like him. How much I loved him; maybe I would still be in frame.

People began to notice this change, assignments from the Arcanum professors slowed, my time being spent more on petty side quests to ease the inconvenience in their daily life. Trying to drown out the increasingly loud recorder; not minding even if things take more time than they should. But eventually, I had nothing left to do. Asking the professors for anything else that they could possibly need help with only to end with silence or shaking heads. Being met with such silence just bringing me back to the beginning. Shining a perfect spotlight on the one necromancer, the one person, I would just love to even see right now.

Not being able to take much longer, not being able to bear a strong face for much longer, I retreated. I couldn’t go back to the dorms. If I saw anything that resembled him, if I saw his jacket on the desk chair, if his plant that he gently took care of wilted and withered away; I don’t know what I would do. Which meant one option, the Arcanum apartment. I found myself at the door, staring at the metal handle. Turn the handle, and leave it all behind. Put the recorder back into its box and let it start collecting dust. It's for the best, it's the best for the spiral.

Once I turned it and entered what I thought would be a cold, dim, empty room I felt something strange. The light was on, there was a plant near the doorway that wasn’t there before. Wait, this is one of his favorites. Quickly turning to put the door behind me, I was greeted with a fully furnished apartment. The dark oak, the dark decals, it's all signs of him. I hurriedly walked forward. This has to mean something, he wouldn’t just do this for nothing. Maybe its fine, maybe he didn’t forget about me.

Laying on the bed with a party hat and a party blower in hand was Malorn. He smirked and blew it triumphantly, jumping up from his spot walking closer to me; "Happy Birthday!"

I stood there in shock. Just staring at him with so many emotions swirling inside me. "I thought- I thought you left me?"

"About that…" he said shyly, scratching his face as a nervous habit.

"I didn’t intentionally avoid you. I really was busy with all the school things I said. But I also was planning this!" he panned to the room with his arms. "I moved all of our stuff here! You said it would be easier and that we could see each other more. But I wanted it to be special as well, I didn’t want it to just be another one of our places. So I took some time with it, and it ended up finishing right before your birthday. So… I figured… it’s a perfect birthday present."

It took me a minute to process all the new information. To calm all the fear and anxiety I've been feeling for what feels like months now. But all I could do was well up and hug him; tightly.

Snuggling my head into the crook of his neck, "Thank you… but please at least let me know you didn’t leave for good. You scared me."

He put one arm around me and one gently on the back of my head, "Yeah my bad… but welcome home."

"Welcome home… Malorn."

i dont feel like making my usual posts about legends of tomorrow 6.03 “the ex-factor” and 6.04 “bay of squids” so i’m just gonna do bullet points 

6.03: 

i still love constantine and zari together but im getting a little tired of seeing them making out with each other. its like ok we get it i just dont need to see it. really funny when behrad came in with his hand over his eyes. me too dude. i did really like their sort of vibe of how they both do have feelings for each other but just aren’t going to admit it. what i didn’t like so much was the melodrama that followed, with constantine feeling hurt that zari told her mother what they had wasn’t serious. and then him telling her that he does want a serious relationship with her. it just didn’t feel like constantine, to be honest. i think that a lot of the fun of constantine’s character is that he will never really change for the better - in that way he’s very suited to comic books, where the status quo tends to prevail and there’s no guarantee character development will last longer than a particular run. but legends of tomorrow doesn’t want a static character like that, so they are changing him in this way. it’s fine, it’s sweet to see, but it’s not what i love about constantine 

zari having to deal with her mom trying to set her up with various persian guys and get her married hit close to home for me LOL. hasnt happened to me personally but i have plenty of friends & relatives who have to deal with that and it sucks 

i liked seeing zari shift back into superstar mode and i also liked that they showed a hijabi girl as one of the fans squealing over her. i just thought that was a nice allusion to how zari would be such an icon for lots of muslim girls. it sort of complicates constantine’s assumption that zari’s influencer content has no real value for the fans and is just a way to sell them stuff 

nate & behrad giving constantine a makeover was really funny

i liked when zari called ava by a nickname. they are besties!!!! i need to see more bestie moments with them

i liked how for zari’s first song the audio was super flawless as though she had recorded the song beforehand and was just lip synching but for her later song you can kind of hear the more crackly live quality with the microphone. good way to make that second one feel more raw and real. it was a really adorable duet i gotta say :p 

i thought the overall plot with the alien trying to invade and the legends having to defeat him through song was hilarious. and when he opened his suit and he was just a little guy. and mick STEPPED on him and KILLED him. so silly love this show 

i liked seeing how mick was having a rough time dealing with sara’s absence. because he feels like she’s the only one who understands him and without her he feels defeated and aimless. it’s totally opposite to how ava is dealing with sara’s absence, which is to exhaust every possible option to find her because if she stops to consider the possibility that it might be hopeless then it will break her. nice to see spooner getting through to mick, seems like they could become good friends

almost forgot to talk about gary and sara. gary is omnisexual bc he is omnomnoming people. so glad that sara could tell that the ava she encountered was not her ava

6.04: 

it’s soooo funny to me that phil klemmer wrote this episode himself. i feel like it’s been forever that he wrote an episode. i’m sure he was like pleeeease let me write this one and the writers room was like uh sure phil. it has all those historical references that you assume someone like him who’s into history would love

the episode is also just kind of like....farcical in a way that i find really hilarious. like the cuban missile crisis was obviously very serious at the time but i feel like the extremely high tension of this situation makes the humor land all the better. i like how the legends’ deceptions and subterfuge sort of mirror the political games being played between the various nations involved in this event. and the miscommunications like mick and spooner delivering a nuclear missile to castro when they definitely should not have done that

nate and zari storyline was fine, not my favorite, but i can see how it would make sense to have this storyline where they figure out how to be friends even though zari looks like nate’s ex. the football stuff was a bit silly but that’s okay. it’s legends it’s allowed to be silly

i thought mick’s trajectory in this episode was good. how he starts out so serious and then when it doesn’t work out he reverts back to his apathetic drunk self but then he is the key to finding a way to sara even though it means kicking everyone else off the waverider to hang out with this alien lady. i still think mick is gay but i’m okay with alien lady as a love interest for him. i mean the inherent queerness of alien fucking and all that

I also cannot wait for Steve to feel better, so that he can do and say even more. It’s funny you mention Steve making more burgers because there’s actually a scene in the next chapter where he thinks about that!!! And they talk about Eddie needing to eat more 🥺😅. I will say, even though our boy is at lowered capacity because of the concussion, he does his very best to display his love, and Eddie is very doting and sweet. So much hurt/comfort fun to be had in the upcoming chapters. I’m very excited, and I’m so glad you are too.
