Ok we have all the songs, time to make a top, with comments even 😳

1. Norway - I love love love this one, this eerie, thrilling melody mixed with the medieval theme and old norwegian language just makes this song perfect and no other song of this year can come any closer to it. Very unique, true to their homeland, absolute masterpiece. I'm definitely following more of Gåte's discography from now on!

2. Estonia - Well they're singing about drugs here and this song is exactly like a drug - addictive. What sells it is their awesome, slightly batshit crazy energy (I absolutely love it) and let's not forget the traditional instruments. I can see a Trenulețul scenario with this one tbh.

3. Slovenia - Absolutely magical, the structure of this song is pretty uncommon and the lil RRAH sounds are interesting, love how it takes a while to build-up and I just get chills all over. This one is a piece of art.

4. San Marino - This song is destroying my Spotify wrapped and it's not even funny, there's something about this one that makes it instantly addictive. I've listened to Megara since last year when they were at Spain's NF with Arcadia and all I can say is that I love their style. Sassy pink and punk rock with a touch of Spanish traditional sounds during the bridge, they just mesh together so well. I don't understand why it's so underrated (currently last in the odds lmfao) and I'm looking forward to their live performance.

5. Denmark - Generic pop song my beloved, why is it so catchy though? I've said it in a previous post, I just reminds me of songs I'd hear in 2013 or so and I love the "Oh-Oh" parts. Lovely

6. Lithuania - The beat hits, it's just awesome fr. Lovely staging and colors, Lithuanian sounds so pretty and melodic as well as his voice.

7. Belgium - Wonderful build-up, the song at first sounds very chill and gives me Blanche vibes (I looked it up and they have the same composer so not surprised lmao) but man, the climax is greaaaaat!! Especially with that choir in the backing. My only gripe would be that he keeps repeating the title over and over again, which can become a bit tiring. But just a bit. It's still a great song!

8. Switzerland - I don't know whose idea was to mix opera and drum n bass together but they're a genius, this is really cool, like absolutely nuts. I love how the bridge is very soft and quiet, opposing the loud and dramatic chorus, I feel like the song itself is pretty messy and inconsistent but I really like that, it's very out of the box and innovative. Genius entry.

9. Latvia - Underrated, I can see why it might fail to grab an audience in the fandom but I really like this one, especially his voice. The song flows nicely too, I only wish the staging would be a bit more...dynamic though? I really want Latvia to qualify for once, felt like it might have a chance since it could attract some casual viewers (some of my casual friend watchers really liked it!) but seeing how brutal semifinal 2 is (and one spot will be inevitably taken by...yeah won't elaborate) I'm afraid Latvia's out for this year as well. I hope at least for a surprise or who knows. That's only how I feel at this moment.

10. Spain - My biggest grower of this year and a total banger, I don't understand why it slaps so hard it has no business to, the message is SO real and it's so unapologetically sassy.

11. Czechia - Same story as with Latvia, underrated to hell and back, I know the live version is...a lil terrible but the studio one I really like. Love how you can feel the frustration through her shouty lyrics and how she's blaming herself for not loving herself more instead (also the beginning might or might not remind me of Aijā I mean the intro with the drums makes me think of it-) ANYWAY

12. Croatia - Listen I'm very happy for Croatia being seen as a most likely winner of this year, they deserve it, Baby Lasagna is an amazing man and the message is on point, even if it's not exactly my favorite I definitely root for him!! Please meow back if you agree. Besides this, the glam ethno rock sound is just 👌 chef's kiss

13. Armenia - Love love love that they brought something ethnic!! The girl's energy is infectious and she's such a joy to watch, the music video is very pretty and describes their culture so well, overall I adore this.

14. Netherlands - GREAT I relistened to it so I can rank it and now I have Europapapapapapa stuck in my head how wonderful. This tells me already that this is such an infectious bop that will never leave your head. Possible televote winner, love the quirkiness and Joost is really goofy we stan.

15. Greece - Welcome to Greece, everyone who visits the country is obligated to listen to this the moment they step out of the plane- /j It's so Greek, so fun, so ethnic, geez what's happening with everyone being so diverse and true to their culture this year? This song screams summer vacation in Greece and I'm here for it.

16. France - The raw emotions in this...he sings with his heart and soul, his voice is very deep and gruff which feels a bit unusual to hear such an intimate and emotional ballad from him, but this is what makes the song special.

17. Italy - Love her attitude and how she sells the song, it's very sassy and fun, won't be surprised to see Italy get yet another Top 5 finish with this.

18. Ukraine - Interesting mix of melancholic pop and energetic chanting and rap. Alyona just nails the rap part perfectly. Overall nice song, grew off me but still great.

19. Ireland - This makes me have chills all over my body. It's very haunting and suspenseful, I love the uncommon unique sound and how they recite the lyrics as they are a poem/creating a curse, I simply love how avant-garde Ireland are this year! Finally they're taking a risk and even if the song is unconventional i hope it will have a following that will help them get through the semi! 🤞

20. Poland - Oh look another grower, it's such a cute song for some reason and her voice is so pleasant to the ears.

21. Serbia - At first I thought it's a bit boring but now I find myself mumbling "Lila Ramondaaaa", like it has a hook even if it's a melancholic ballad.

22. Portugal - The emotions in this are immaculate, she conveys all her struggles in life so well into a ballad that's somewhat soft-sounding. Epic.

23. Australia - For some reason this song takes me back to 2015-2016 and I don't get why?? Maybe I heard music that's similar to this in that period, who knows. That chorus slaps immensely, as well as the didgeridoo(I hope that's the instrument), but I'm not extremely head over heels about it. It's enjoyable still!

24. Malta - Contrary to popular belief I enjoyed the revamp, she made it easier to sing live and it just has more oomph, good job, Malta.

25. Finland - The whole 3 minutes are absolutely batshit insane and I love it fr, these dudes are a delight to watch. The song tbh I like it but not that much to rank it higher, but I appreciate the craziness, the message, what sells it is definitely the staging and the guys' stage persona.

26. Austria - Mmmmm I know it's a fan favorite but I'm not a big fan of this, like I've said before in some other posts. The hype at first was highly irritating (especially on twitter, dear god 💀) for such a...just okay/good song? First of all I appreciate the throwback to the late 90s/early 00s eurodance/synthpop music that was popular back then, I think it does a great job imitating the vibes of it, but at the same time is it just me or this song feels so...calculated and has this eurovision-specific formula in its structure/sound? It was definitely made for it being performed live and to pander to the yass queen slay ate and left no crumbs-side of the fandom? Which honestly kinda drags it down a lot for me.

27. Sweden - I can't unhear parts of Air in this, well actually that's their style, neat electro pop tbh, I can bop to this, pretty enjoyable.

28. Moldova - Falls flat but what makes it a bit stronger is the vocalisations in the chorus, as well as the lil ethnic sounds. That drum is also quite catchy. They have to pull out a wonder-staging for this to qualify.

29. Georgia - If Georgia isn't qualifying with this one then that means their only hope is borrowing Loreen at this point. It's a competent girl bop with powerful vocals, that has a dedicated following, but I appreciate that even if it's a girl bop it's not so aggressively in your face like...other examples I've seen before. I'm personally not big on it, but it's nice.

30. Azerbaijan - Oh? Azerbaijan sends something in their language, what is this 2050? And not with a melfest reject? For the 2nd year in a row? I'm very impressed, but even with all these I don't feel that attached to the song, just glad they took a risk instead of renting a swede for safe qualification like they did in the past years. I love the ethnic touches though.

31. Luxembourg - Cute and peppy french bop, although a bit generic and that's about it, no strong feelings.

32. Cyprus - Mmm your regular girlie pop of the year, unsurprisingly from Cyprus as well. Pretty catchy, has a cool vibe but I'm not feeling anything about it.

33. United Kingdom - Just a competent mid-tempo boy bop, honestly nothing much to say since it kinda failed to impress me. Good effort though.

34. Albania - I don't get why they changed it into english, why they turned it more upbeat (I liked the balladier version more) and the rap part feels disjointed. Albania wanted to relive their 2016-2017 era I see.

35. Germany - I'm sorry but this song bores me to death and can't listen to it without zoning out which is a shame because he's a competent singer (his voice is the best thing about Germany this year) and I'm afraid they're again heading for a bottom 3 finish 💀

36. Iceland - Mmm this isn't is, Iceland. Very sorry. Sounds like it would get 13th in 2004, it's a very by-the-letters eurodance.

I will not rank Israel here. It's still mind-boggling that they're still allowed to participate.

writing/DR scripting - loop method

lmfao idk what i was supposed to call this method or if it had even been made already (again, please tell me if it is) but I'm on a roll and my mind is steadily vomiting ideas rn and idw lose any of it

i came up with this while making something for our creative writing org in school; i tried it out to see if it works and it does for me, so i thought, why not share it?

here:

Write a scene, any scene. Make sure the word count reaches at least 1,000 - 2,000 words. Just write without thought, and look back on the errors later. Reread the entire thing. Mark the parts that you feel unsatisfied with. Revise those parts, and when you do, make sure to add at least another 500 - 1,000 words.

Reread it again. Did you find any more inconsistencies that you don’t like? Change them. Are there any unnecessary additions? Remove them. Repeat the process until you find yourself contented with what you’ve written. When you’re done, read your creation from an actual reader’s perspective. Does it make sense? Are the details clear? Does it invoke emotion? From the dialogue to the descriptions, what can you infer about the plot?

All in all it can lengthen your word count, but at the same time can also sharpen your writing style.

As for scripting, you basically do the same thing, just apply the rules of scripting instead of writing. Note down all the details you want to include, in an organised manner. Go over them, thoroughly, over and over again, until you’re content with what you’ve made. Refine all the quirks, abilities, habits, and whatsit’s that you’ve created for yourself.

You’re looping, again and again, until you’ve finally done it enough to ensure that everything’s dandy and polished.

what fandoms have you written for (but do not currently)?

i’m embarrassed to say i used to write fanfiction for people like justin bieber, shawn mendes, austin mahone, and the other non-shawn magcon boys.

kpop wise i’ve written for bts, stray kids, ateez, a.c.e, victon, txt, got7, seventeen, treasure, the boyz, cravity, and enhypen. yeah, i know. don’t look at me.

what fandoms are you currently writing for?

nct 2020. they have enough members for my pea brain right now.

how long have you been writing?

for most of my life, honestly. but i started writing seriously about 7 or 8 years ago? and since then i’ve written things like plays that have actually gotten performed and shit.

on which platforms do you post your stories?

up until 2 years ago, i was a wattpad user. then i joined tumblr, and so far this is the only place i’ve posted my current pieces (thought i will likely cross post to ao3 and maybe wattpad to try to stop those thieves on those sites)

what is your favourite genre to write?

angst. anything to do with angst. i like to hurt. if i’m not choked up, sobbing while writing it, i’m not doing it right.

are you a pantser or a planner?

i try to plan, but usually i jump the gun and go straight in. once i have a vague idea of what i want to happen in a story, it’s over if i have the motivation to write it.

one shot or multi-chapter?

as of now, one shots. i want to try my hand at multi chaptered fics, though.

what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?

i like thick stories with lots of existentialism in them. but it depends on the genre. for fluff or romance, anywhere from a couple thousand words. but for angst? break my tumblr when i try to reblog it.

what is your longest published story? is it complete?

ashamed to say that my longest oneshot is only 5.3k words ….

which story(ies) did you enjoy working on the most?

the aforementioned had a pretty spicy plot (angel vs demon) so it was quite fun to write. i might rewrite it and make it … not smut, and focus more on the tension of the enemies to lovers type thing.

i’m also enjoying working on “gimme some sugar” although i’ve run myself straight into a corner.

favourite request you’ve have written and why (if any?)

i don’t typically write requests. it’s a weird thing where if it doesn’t come from my brain i literally cannot write it.

are there reoccurring themes in your stories?

no…? i don’t think so. i don’t really write enough to count.

current number of wips?

5 confirmed, over 40 stored in the brain bank able to be released at any time.

three things you have noticed about your own writing?

i use way too many lengthy sentences.

sometimes they read like a john green novel. no hate to john green (i enjoyed stories like looking for alaska, paper towns, etc.), but it makes me feel like i have nothing special about my own writing.

my style varies depending on the mood i’m in, so there’s always inconsistencies, even if they are minor, in my full pieces that take multiple sessions to finish.

I like the idea of Touya looking more like Rei but he canonly doesn't look overly similar to either imo. Like idk looking at the pics he's got rei's face shape (maybe it's more rounded cause he's younger but looking at shou.) His eyes look similar too both, maybe leaning towards Enji but more Rei's size. He didn't get Enji's frame lmfao, but yeah, he looks like their kid, not a copy of one or the other

AIGHT, D now looks like young E with hints of R. His chin points a little more which is from R but E had that roundness when he was around Ds age, And I was wrong, When D actually emotes with his eyes, they seem to point up and are more angular, Es bottom lid squares out a little more where Ds have a less harsh angle up, still more angled than Rs tho, they look like shoutos just slimmer, Def doesnt have Es frame/build, R nose points up D and Es don't. Touya looked like R and dabi looks like E

But like honestly, Dabi and Touya are Rei and Enjis kid, he looks like a mix of both at either age, Touya looks more like rei cause he had bigger eyes and a rounder face, things most anime kids have lmao, the eye shape looks like both his parents

I’m assuming this is all the same anon and even if it’s not, it’s all a similar ask so I decided to combine it into one XD

Anyway, because I was curious about the similarities shared between him and his parents, I also decided to do some comparisons. I’ve decided to use multiple shots from the manga with Dabi because I find him to be one of the most inconsistently drawn characters out of them. (Also I took so long finding a variety of different panels T-T Endeavor can you extinguish your flame beard more often please, you look like a tool with it.)

Firstly I looked at two of the clearest images of Dabi we have and compared him to Rei! (The name of this pic, and the rest of them, are guys I have no life which I thought was pretty accurate XD)

In these images I can see why he would be compared to Rei more then he would Endeavor as he doesn’t really have the strong chin that Endeavor possesses and his face is the stereotypical face of an anime/manga style man really (which are usually softer like the mothers face).

To show a comparison, I can definitely see the similarities between those two images of Dabi and Rei, at least when it comes to their jaw line (I’ve seen people say there eyes are similar but I don’t see it).

However if it were this easy to determine he took after Rei, I wouldn’t really have much of a ground to stand on when I say he takes after Endeavor! So moving onto picture: guys I have no life 3!

This is Dabi’s face from multiple different angles and we can see how the shape of his jaw changes from each one T-T. Specifically the bottom right corner and the two top right image show Dabi’s jaw to be much more squarer then the above images. The bottom right image actually shows a remarkable similarity to how Endeavor looked when he was younger in my opinion (as I’ll show below in pic guys I have no life 4).

The best pics of Enji I could find because Enji is a stubborn bastard who doesn’t like to show his jawline! Obviously Dabi isn’t exactly a spitting image of his father, in fact none of kids really took after him too much, even Natsuo who probably looks the most like him.

However I found it kind of striking how, as anon pointed out in the above ask, a young Enji and Dabi look similar too each other.

In this image at least (because as I’ve said above, Dabi is drawn pretty inconsistently) Dabi and Enji share a similar face shape, hair style and interestingly enough they also have the same thickness in their neck (Rei’s neck is actually pretty thin and not something Dabi shares with her). Even the shape of their shoulder from what we can see are similar. The only really big difference are the shape of their eyes and eyebrows and the the muscles they possess.

It’s actually really hard to say who he takes after more because it seems to change depending on when he’s drawing him, really. As you pointed out anon, his eye shape seems to be a mixture of Rei’s and Enji’s (it’s not really like either) but it is similar to the rest of his siblings!

All of the boys eyes seem to have that are straight at the top and round near the bottom, they’re not quiet Rei’s eyes but they’re also too curved to be Enji’s. I’m not sure if that’s how genetics actually work but they seemed to have gotten a mixture of both.

Interestingly enough in the image too is that both Dabi and Shouto have drooping shoulders while Fuyumi and Natsuo seem to be pretty straight. I know Endeavor’s shoulders are also pretty straight when we see them in the manga and that’s where Natsuo got his from while Fuyumi is almost a carbon copy of her mother, but I wonder where Shouto and Dabi got the shoulders from (Enji’s young image notwithstanding because even though I used it as an example earlier, future Endeavor doesn’t have them... This is what I’m talking about when I say the manga can be pretty inconsistent T-T).

Dabi also shares pretty similar mannerisms with Endeavor too, which I found pretty amusing. Like this panel here:

While not exactly affected by genetics, it was also what I was talking about when I mentioned Dabi taking after Enji. Sometimes how he looks and how he behaves is so similar to his father, it’s hard to believe that no one in the BNHA universe have made the connection between them yet.

Also, you brought up the image of Touya when he was young and I didn’t include this in the analysis for one reason:

Touya was a kid when this image was taken. Kids will always have baby fat on their faces, making them look rounder then they will actually grow up to be. That’s why I didn’t include it in this analysis because while young Touya’s jaw shape does look like Rei, he’s still growing into his body at that age and you can’t determine who he would take after more.

Overall, I agree with you anon, Dabi does seem to come out as a mixture of his parents however (maybe because I’m biased :p) I would still argue he takes after Endeavor more then his mother.

Michael Langdon Birthchart:

Hey y’all! So here is the birth chart we came up w for Michael. We have him being born March 19th @ 10:14 PM Western Time. Please give this a read and let us know if you agree or if you have other ideas as to what his signs are. The birthchart we drew up had 2 inconsistencies. It made him have a Sagittarius Rising and an Aquarius Moon. We both agreed on other signs for those placements.

Pisces sun: Well to start off, I would like to say that the meaning of the pisces is the creator. Which I think is pretty neat since Michael did want to essentially create a new world. anyway. Some words that come to mind when thinking of a Pisces are emotional, impressionable (hello satanists who tried to manipulate our boy), perceptive & intuitive (which can explain how he was so good at reading people - no one reads people like a Pisces, trust me. Michael is super in touch w others emotions) (side note; the symbol of the fish has been associated w Jesus Christ and we all know the Michael x Jesus parallels Ryan gave us so). While Pisces are incredibly understanding of others around them, they are often the most misunderstood sign (how fitting for our antichrist, no?)

A quote that I read about this is “easily touched by human suffering” anyone remember Michael crying for the mother whose children had been victims to the radiation?

This just reminds me of when Michael conducts his interviews he’s just like “tell me who you really are” he doesn’t have the patience to beat around the bush. I’ve also read that they don’t do well with outdated ideas and anyone remember when he said the concept of sin was antiquated? Michael ain’t about it!! @gremlinkween said this is probably why he runs into things head first without putting a lot of thought into it and he does everything so boldly and just hopes for the best lmfao

Venus Taurus: Venus rules over love and relationships!! So because venus does rule Taurus, I’d like to think this makes Michael a hopeless romantic (especially w a pisces sun omfg) As a Taurus Venus this means Michael has “an appetite for luxury and a style snob” and i mean??? Is that wrong??? ALSO SO SO SENSUAL. I’M TALKING TOUCH STARVED NEEDS TO BE CONSTANTLY DEMONSTRATING LOVE PHYSICALLY? @gremlinkween made some awesome point about how this would give him a hard shell to break and very stubborn in his relationships, but when he loves, he loves hard!! Scorpio Mars: eyyyyyy, it’s yo gremlin, Ash, so the Mars Sign is the “””””masculine””””” energy, but more importantly, how you respond to the physical side of things, whether that be sports, sex, whatever. This would explain why he’s just so violent and extra. Like did he really have to explode Madison’s head? No. Did he really have to eat Marie’s heart and make a show of pulling the knife out of his back with that sexual grunt? Absolutely no. Scorpio is the sign of doing the absolute most, doing it the most aggressive, and sometimes even sexually, which explains his just kinda overall sexual tone when it comes to the physical. So honestly, our hcs about Michael being super freaky and violent? Not off at all

Scorpio Rising: The Rising Sign is all about how others perceive you and the general and first impressions, and your spontaneous reactions to things. Scorpios, as a said do the most, but that’s because they are the fixed water sign. They are just as emotional as a Pisces or a Cancer, but it’s all under the surface, as my best bitch once said “Scorpios are the tossing and turning seas. We can look serene on the surface, but there could be riptides underneath the surface that could easily kill you, but sometimes you see that on the surface as well” and does that not sound like the impression that our boi gives off? Age: 24 ( An aged up verse, he’s a couple years older than 1-A. Though sometimes I will portray his teen years as well, I have more information on his adult verse. I do want to flesh out teen years at some point though lol )

Appearance: Athletic agile build, Asian descent, brown eyes, red tinted hands and feet, small red horns on his forehead, long spiked / devilish red tail

Body: Athletic agile build

Quirk: Steam – Kaneda can build up and blow a hot steam that can potentially burn (or even melt depending on the force) his opponents. (Ahaha, the quirk fits the body appearance. I bet this one is going to be a hot head or really sweet)

Weakness: Building up and releasing too much steam at once can cause overexertion to the point where he can and will collapse and not be able to move for a while. Also his fucking ego. (LMFAO, I guess we’re dealing with the former and not the latter!)

Personality: Kaneda becomes the main symbol of defiance, expressing anarchy behavior towards authority and absolutely does not accept blatant disrespect. Kaneda values loyalty and becomes vengeful when trust is broken. He is impulsive, hot-headed, egotistical, and maintains a tough exterior; however, he is brave, independent, and highly empathetic. As a leader, Kaneda will look out for the safety and well-being of his allies, and will throw himself in front of a bullet for them if need be. (This!! I like that you didn’t make him a straight jerk and that you gave him good traits as well!)

Do they work well with others?: You are either with him or against him. By default he will work well if not negotiate unless you have a badge stating your authority.

Family: Parents deceased; family is his gang of brothers, all misfits and loyal to the bone

What do they think about heroes?: Oh shit oh fuck uhhhh

A couple of things about heroes. He sees the rise of fame being motivation for pro-heroes lately. They seem real fake to him, and it runs along the lines of Stain’s idea of “false heroes”. But he also sees them as a bunch of buzz kills when he’s trying to ride out and do his own thing that happens to be illegal. (LOL this guy is so problematic in a very headass type of way and it’s really entertaining. He’s a really fun character to read about.)

What do they think about villains?: They’re somewhat easier to work with, but he does not associate himself with hardcore villains either. As much as he himself could easily be considered one, he considers himself more in a grey area. He won’t kill a hero – actually he hesitates to kill anyone – but he won’t turn on a villain either if only because any of them could either arrest him or kill him. (Ah, he’s smarter than he lets on. I wonder how much of this is empathy and how much of this is him saving his own ass,,)

In terms of villains, he’s very much along the lines of “snitches get stitches”. At this point it doesn’t matter what his views are with a villain or a rival gang, he’s not gonna call the cops or any heroes as that is a lower blow than trying to either run or solve the issue on his own. He would rather risk his dignity than call the authorities.

Is their first reaction to danger: flight or fright?

Depends on the danger. If he knows it’s an even match, he’ll throw fists. If he knows he has no chance, he’ll turn tail (heh) and run. (i’m actually laughing omg stop)

If they had to be stuck on an island with one BNHA character, who would it be and why?

Favorite holiday and why?

Halloween. As a child he always loved to dress up as his favorite hero. As an adult, he’s more attuned to the day before Halloween as “Mischief Day” and takes “tricks” to the extremes.

Do they have a certain way of dressing/ style?

His wardrobe is casual and lazy punk clothes. He does occasionally sport a bright red jacket with his gang’s logo on the back.

Pet peeves: Assuming his character for his looks (I mean you right but he hates it) (LMFAO I’m trying to give a serious review here and you hitting me with all this lolol)

Favorite food: shrimp tempura and rice

What type of student were they/are they?: Given that he only went to school so he didn’t have to do community service… he did the bare minimum, still got held back once (got mightily pissed off about it), and left as soon as he turned 18. Will also add that the school he went to was one step closer to juvie.

General Extras: In general, he is a real neutral guy that doesn’t play sides unless you’re on his specifically. He doesn’t take being talked down to and will even argue his side to keep himself above it all. Even raise fists. But he is impulsive as shit and does not always think his decision through. Definitely not book smart, but strongly street smart and highly confident in his actions. (I get that vibe from everything you’ve said, you summarized it really well and took the words out of my mouth!)

Like big crackhead vibes from him like…he’s really just a lil misfit goin around and doing as he pleases,, so much angst in this one like??? (i hope you dont take any offence to this,, i just really like his character lol) he seems pretty factious to me LOL. I like his quirk, simple and easy and his weakness is plausible, no OP oc’s here! His personality really shined through and you portrayed him well. That little paragraph you wrote summarizing him was a really solid description and would be perfect for a character sheet. The only inconsistencies were, at the top you put his age as 17 but in the “what type of student were they” you mentioned him turning 18 but otherwise he is a really solid character! I’m 20 something so I can’t crush on anyone younger than 20 but he’s really… *deep breath* …moving on. I love his personality and the fact that he’s this punk but in reality he’s an impartial dude who is chill unless something offends him or opposes him but he is also very loyal and empathetic, two qualities that I love!

Idk if you wanted questions since this is a private rating but i’ll put some either way and u can choose to fill em out or nah,, i mainly do it to help develop character and its just fun to talk abt oc’s sooo,,

What job do you see him having in the future? He’s not really here no there so i’m interested!

After he drops out of high school, he flat out does not know what to do. As he is familiar with criminal work, he stays to what he knows with his bike gang... and incidentally gets picked up by mob members. He begins as an errand boy for one organized group, but never is he ever initiated as a member. After having been exposed by a variety of assignments from various villains, by the age of 20 he’s doing all kinds of illegal work. He becomes a man for hire in the undergrounds, helping with drug trafficking, enforcement, body guarding, petty thieving, etc. You name it, he’s probably done it.

But that’s only in the dark. To keep himself balanced, he’s also a bar back for a local bar in the sketchy side of town. An honest job when he meets people and can tell them what he does for work without putting off any red flags.

A couple of reasons why he does shady work is not due to enjoyment. Actually, he wishes he never got involved as everyday feels like he’s at risk of getting killed for angering the wrong person. He doesn’t plan ahead of his life only because he could step outside one morning and breathe his last breath. For one thing, his best friend who grew up with him and is part of his gang is in rehab at this point and Kaneda is the only person who he can turn to for help -- by this, Kaneda opts to pay those hospital bills with the quick and astounding amount of money he receives from criminal work. Another reason is plain and simple: once he has done work for one organized criminal group, once his name is spread around the underground as a reliable hire, there’s no way of suddenly dropping that life without risking it all.

Is there anything in particular he does to relax?? Tv, music, hobbies, etc,

The best way he can relax is riding his motorcycle in the late hours of the night. He loves the city, and will speed through until he finds open road where he will just continue to ride until he feels calm again.

If he’s especially frustrated and the steam has built up in his lungs, he will hold it in until he finds a safe spot (preferably home) to release it all and collapse for a while. Yes, his apartment would be a sauna if he doesn’t open his windows.

Sex also helps.

Is he a pessimist or optimist? He’s very unbiased it seems so I wonder what his personal mindset is,,

More of an optimist, but in a way where he prefers to mask sorrow and tension with humor and a lighter perspective. He can’t afford to not be confident, and he tries his damndest to pass that on given the circumstances. “This will work” he would say to an idea he briefly thought of, mostly trusting his gut and hoping that if he passes on the mindset and convinces others of his confidence, then yes in some way things will work out.

But I also say that he’s not very optimistic of his own future (sorry to bring this back). He lives for the moment, but given the life he lives, he does not trust it will be a long one.

So it’s hard to explain, but he’d more say, “nothing matters in the end; do whatever the hell you want now”.

mmmmmm probably my imagination? i’ve had a very active imagination since i was very young, and it’s probably why/how i’m a writer today! i know i see things in the world and think about them (more their possibilities) than other people, and my brain is like an inter-dimensional blender, combining pieces of media and observations and everything into original ideas.

11. Are you nice to everyone?

aaaa i’d like to say yes, but it’s a complicated yes. at least in general, i do try to be nice to people, but that’s not always altruistic or good-natured. a lot of the time it’s for my own benefit (i.e. connections, keeping peace, avoiding conflict, etc.). the ones i’m genuinely nice to are people i consider friends. but i guess i try to be nice to everyone on first meeting them! i like to draw my own conclusions, but i can also tell when i won’t uhh “vibe” with someone. this answer went so off track.

Dislike: most other physical attributes lmfao, procrastination, my moral ambiguity, INDECISION, the “need to please” and “validate me” kind of driving force of my entire being, jealousy/envy, perfectionism (but the not-productive kind), self-pitying attitude, personality/characteristic inconsistencies... okay i’m analyzing myself too much now xD

Raw:

Such a hollow promo by Lana tbh. “I’m dreaming, don’t wake me up.” ??? You were the sole survivor by proxy, it’s not like you did anything. Like good for you, but come on now.

I mean sure, hand out a title shot to fucking Lana, not like anyone else in the entire company cares about that belt. God I miss Becky.

“You may go home Raw women’s champion” HAHAHAHAHAAHHA sure.

“Nikki Cross blames herself for what Alexa Bliss has become,” she should, she straight up threw her hissy fit cuz she didn’t win the title, and then she bailed.

Now don’t get me wrong, I get that Alexa has been... possessed, if you will, by Fiend... but I’m not seeing any signs of Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to her and Bray. Aren’t they both trapped by Fiend in lore? Bray seems to genuinely care about Alexa. Am I off the mark here??

Oh my god this moment of silence for the fucking frog, I--

Topped with them laughing about his death, oooookay. I’m left speechless once again.

Commentators come back with, “Is Alexa Bliss too far gone...” LMFAO bye.

See I love this bullying Lana storyline cuz Nia and Shayna have no real reason to despise her 1/8th as much as they do. It simply boils down to ‘fuck Lana’ and like your typical high school bullies, they seethe when their victim succeeds at anything. It’s old school, believable, and doesn’t cross any lines that would upset parents or sponsors.

Also don’t get me wrong, I’m well aware that this title match is just a vehicle to advance the feud while involving Asuka, I simply wish the creation of the title match itself had been a bit more interesting. Lana’s dialogue ahead of it with both Sarah and Asuka just fell flat for me.

Omfg Asuka threw water on Nia and Shayna, bahahahah I can’t breathe. That might be the highlight of her entire reign, holy shit.

Negative points for her being floored by one punch though.

Well at least the segment ends with both Asuka and Lana standing, that’s not the worst.

Not much to say about this match, it’s really just Nia and Shayna bullying Lana lol.

I’ll give them this, there is absolutely nothing about neither Nia nor Shayna that is even remotely likeable. They play mean really well, and not ‘annoying yet funny’ mean like Bayley, just straight mean.

It’s not that I hate this submission ‘hold’ by Shayna, where she steps on the back of their neck while pulling a leg back, but I’m curious why she switched legs lmao. Awkward.

What a knee strike by Shayna to Asuka, whew that looked nasty.

Lmfao Nia took herself out by charging into the announce desk. I cannot. What a bump. Comedic bump, but a bump. Points.

Haha Shayna ate a rollup. A happy ending indeed. Lana sold that ending well, but it was a weird choice to have her and Asuka on the opposite ends of the ramp.

It’s been like 2 years and I’m still shocked Alexa never turned on Nikki.

This video is kind of just skipping over Nikki throwing her tantrum huh? Alexa played backseat cheerleader just to watch Nikki lose against Bayley 16 times and what did she get in return? Disrespect. Tsk.

Great package though. Points.

Nikki is so inconsistent. Internal conflict is valid, but she’s standing here claiming Alexa gave up on their friendship. First of all, this was initially instigated by Nikki. Second of all, she did nothing but trash Alexa’s boyfriend(?) when Alexa was nothing but kind to her after Nikki was a douche. She was confused so she gave Alexa an ultimatum, and now she’s pissy cuz Alexa chose him. This is toxic, I honestly have no sympathy for Nikki.

“I’m going to beat the Fiend out of Alexa Bliss” that’s... that’s not how this works... alright well you’re a shitty friend so, anyway.

Alexa slaps the back of Nikki’s hands and claims she won. I fucking can’t, she’s such a treat.

Lol Alexa’s just laughing at her.

My first introduction to Alexa was her as a master manipulator. Not a damn thing has changed.

Soooo Xia gets acting points, but what in the fuck is going on with her and Boa’s story...

I enjoy watching neither of these women wrestle, but at least Jinny’s persona is appealing and she has solid character work. She’s easy to dislike, so she gets heel-potential points.

So is this match gonna be interrupted by Piper? Probably not.

“This is an aggressive Isla Dawn,” well hey, maybe she actually started working on her stamina.

Jinny is vicious lmao.

Probably Isla’s best showing tbh.

I hate it when people jump off the top turnbuckle and then break into a slow, clunky roll, just to stand up and act as if their knee is tweaked. It’s so messy to me. Be smoother or don’t aimlessly jump off the turnbuckle.

The wwe shop ad with the Riott Squad was worth a mention. They entertain me and they deserve tag titles. Not sure why wwe is still dragging their feet, but commit to them already, damn it.
