Price giving out stickers to the 141. Colourful little circles saying "well done!", "good job!" or with a smiley face, and the team gets REALLY competitive for them.

The sticker pack was bought months ago when Price was on leave. He saw it in a small crafts shop and remembered an ex of his - a primary school teacher - had said it worked wonders for their class. With a grin, he paid, packing the stickers safely in his bag to take back to base and thinking himself the funniest man alive.

It took a while for him to reveal the stickers to his team. To be honest, by the time he'd dealt with all the inevitable chaos that happened whilst he was away, he was too tired to care about the stickers when he finally got round to unpacking his bag again. It wasn't until several weeks later that he brought them, smuggled under his jacket, into a briefing room, ready to congratulate the boys on another successful mission and showcase his little joke.

"Fuck me, Cap." Ghost had, of course, been the first to notice when Price placed the sticker pack on the briefing room table. The latter had chosen a moment when everyone was nattering with each other about the mission - or about something, anyway; he drowned out Soap and Gaz's playful arguments most of the time.

Ghost's lighthearted exasperation caught the others' attention, and to say the three sergeants' eyes lit up would be an understatement. Roach was the first to lunge towards Price - eyes fixed on the stickers as if they were prey - quickly followed by Soap and Gaz. The Captain had to snatch the little booklet off the table and hold it above his head at lightning speed to avoid a catfight over it.

"It's only if you're good!" He scolded, attempting to push off a very fixated Gaz from practically climbing up his gear to get to the stickers.

The boys start doing counterproductive shit to try and get stickers. Soap blows up considerably more stuff than before in attempts to impress Price; Ghost brings him more tea than he is physically capable of drinking; and he swears Gaz and Roach have mentally transformed into two needy cats that are constantly under his feet.

From day two of the Curse of the Stickers (TM), Price is instantly regretting his actions. His team's pestering is only making him give out less stickers, which in turn makes the pestering worse. It got to the point where he awarded Roach a sticker for falling asleep just because it meant that he wasn't bothering him.

(This all continued for years btw. Every time the novelty of the stickers started to fade, someone would get one for doing particularly well on a mission and suddenly the competition would pipe back up again. Price never forgot about the stickers because their faces when he gave them one was so innocently happy. He loved seeing his men be boys again even just for a moment)

Do you plan on getting any non millipede friends

I do! I’d love to get some more isopods and raise some beetles from larva again. I’d also LOVE to get back into fish keeping my faves are bettas, shrimps, corydoras and kuhli loaches! Maybe a snake or gecko further down the line? But those are what I know the least about and would be most hesitant to get as I want any creatures I get to have the best care I can give them.

I’d say the only creatures on my never list are spiders, roaches, centipede, anything else that moves overly fast or has a bad bite/is venomous/poisonous. Probably turtles too just due to their life spans.

But millipedes and isopods are what I’m able to keep right now as I’d have to get some new tanks for anything else, as well as all the research I’d need to do to be comfortable keeping them.

Oh also I do have two cats I just don’t post about them here, and I plan to possibly get a third next year but we’ll see :3

#bug babbles #I’m pretty much up to keep anything once #but I’m also very aware of myself and I get excited about new things and then often get board about 4 months later #which is when I was fine getting isopods and millipedes as I thought ‘we’ll bugs only live like a year right #so even if I lost interest I’d only need to care for them a few months more I know now that some millipedes can 10 years but that’s alright #as Millipedes have become a key interest of mine so I feel comfortable getting more long lived species and more in general #for fish it’s just the money investment of all the stuff and then the time it takes to set up a planted tank as I just love them more than #fake plants I’ve done it twice before successfully and probably failed about the last 4 times #so I’ve not gotten to the actual grtting fish part yet due to that #I know I could fork out £200 and get the tank and fish tomorrow but that’s not what I want I want a planted tank so it’ll be on going #as for why no spiders my dad used to catch them and out them in my bed as a kid for years so I just can’t handle them as an adult #he thought it was funny and would toughen me up it sadly only made me nearly cry anytime I see one now #for roaches I’m just not interested #centipedes can have a nasty bite so I’d like to avoid them and anything that moves fast reminds me of spiders so it’s a no go

i have finished my ofmd rewatch and yes i'm happy i did it cause my love for this show and its cast grew even more since i noticed so many tiny details or background subplots i missed the first time, the whole cravat exchange between Stede and Ed...but now my heart breaks even more for them, especially poor Edward, manipulated by Izzy and pushed to his limits where he once again puts on the persona he detests but this time he's also mourning the life he already envisioned in his head with Stede :((((

their reunion is gonna be so emotional and i hope by the end of season 2 we get to see Ed embrace his true desires (like soft, silk clothes and eating marmalade at the sunrise with his dumb boyfriend) and i'm excited for Stede to finally experience mutual love, not an empty spectacle put on for the society even tho he really needs to work on his thinking and communication skills cause this whole drama could've been avoided if he told Ed he wants to fix things with his family first ANYWAY i'm sure s2 will make me cry and laugh and scream and i can't wait 💜

I’m trying to finish Fear Dot Com cuz Jeffrey Combs is in it and…there’s so many roaches I’ve had to cover my screen

when I watched the first half like a month or two ago I almost threw up like oh my god it’s a fucking nightmare for anyone with entomophobia or katsaridaphobia

There’s what I can only describe as an army of roaches at some point which is like a little funny to think about (at least when i describe it that way) but also fucking terrifying. I don’t wanna go into more detail about the bugs in it cuz I don’t wanna think about it more than I have to but basically if roaches scare you and/or disgust you don’t watch the movie I know it might be tempting cuz Jeffrey Combs is in it but just don’t or at least be aware especially if you have problems like I do where sometimes images of things get stuck In your head that gross you out, part of what fucked my over so bad was the image of certain parts of the movie getting stuck in my brain and repeatedly thinking about them despite my best attempts not to

Edit: I realized after I posted this that I should warn to anyone who is going to watch it that it does have some flashing lights and bright lights, specifically white lights so if you have issues with that kinda stuff you might wanna avoid this
