In every campaign I watch Brennan as a player in there's always so much physical affection with whoever he's sitting next to whether that Lou or Siobhan, Aabria or another of his friends, so many casual touches and hugs and quite a bit of physical roleplay/comedy too which is very relatable bc I too am a very physically affectionate person but it makes me feel so bad for him in all the many campaigns he is stuck lonely behind his dm screen :(

We should bring back that thing some websites used to do where whenever you made a post you could also list a bunch of random details alongside it, like the mood you’re currently feeling while writing the post, what you’re eating, music you’re currently listening to, what device you’re writing the post on, some random emoji, your personal motto at the moment, etc. It’s like additional character lore 

#I think you can do this with facebook still like you can put a current mood 'feeling XYZ' BUT you have to choose from their list #of premade emotions. You can't just type your own. #and you can't add a bunch of random extra details for no reason #Also DID websites actually do this? I might just be thinking of one or two. specifically I htink on deviant art (which I rarely ever #used except for one small period when I was like 14 yrs old and thought it would be Professional to post art there lol) #when you made a journal post type of thing I think you could put information like this. And I THINK you could maybe do something similar on #the journals on gaiaonline?? maybe also myspace but I remember so little about mysapce or if they even have a journal #type function. the usual izzy gets surprised by not having had menopause yet and a baby trope but adding in a twist: it happens pre-canon and by the time he gets unceremoniously dumped off the ship, he’s known for at least a month

just. increasingly tense izzy, who not only has to deal with not being able to keep anything in his body and worse nausea than he had even in his first week on a ship, but also can’t sleep marinating in the familiar coldness between him and ed that suddenly grates all over again. who’s forced to contend with the idea that something might finally force them out of this stalemate, and he doesn’t know if he wants that really or what outcome scares him the most, and it makes him pissier than a rabid cat soaking wet most days

and then it happens anyways, in an entirely different way that didn’t even require izzy to voice all of his fears and lay bare their problems, because stede fucking bonnet did that with his mere presence. no need to admit to his fear of being abandoned now, is there, is all he can think bitterly over a mug of fucking water of all things in jackie’z.

the vibe of the day is to be in a bad fucking mood

how do therapists typically react when you say you think you have something

#ive only done that twice with two separate therapists one was like yeah that’d make sense (about autism) but i had to stop seeing her #+ she wasn’t very good #and the other time the therapist was even worse and she kept trying to tell me what im almost positive is ocd was just ptsd #i have both but like the thing she was talking about had nothing to do with my trauma and was entirely based on intrusive thoughts #and also involved compulsions so like. #she generally sucked also she was like 40 minutes late once and then when she showed up (into the telehealth thing) she was driving #but yeah i want to talk to my current therapist about both my ocd and dissociation problems but im scared to flat out say that #also concerned she will equate my ocd to ptsd as well bc some of it is connected but still is different #like i have ruminations that are vaguely connected to my trauma that i might not have otherwise but they’re still ocd im pretty sure #also i was kinda supposed to be diagnosed with it ? i took a test thing but i kept telling the psych that i didn’t have it so i think he #abandoned the idea. and then i was discharged and it was just dropped #idk why im saying all of this im in a weird mood #vent #kinda??? #not really but to be safe #but yeah i feel like it could be seen as trying to do the therapists work for them which i don’t want to do
