Tsumugi: What should I do… Anything I eat is too good!

Banri: That’s true..! I’d want to try making this at home.

Anesagi: Oogami-san, you’re someone who cooks quite a bit huh.

Banri: Well, it‘s because I don’t dislike it.

Anesagi: Okazaki, how about you?

Okazaki: I’m… Because my brother never cooks, so I can do it somehow...

Okazaki: Ah, I won’t make anything difficult! It’s really like man cooking...

Tsumugi: Anesagi-san, do you?

Anesagi: Of course. A healthy body is built by every day’s meals.

Anesagi: ...Anyways, we’ve been doing nothing but eating today… I should adjust starting tomorrow...

Banri: Certainly… We just cooked rice-porridges too… I feel like we are wondering around mainly with food-related stuff?

Banri: … Maybe, even though saying it myself is awkward... Are we moving around for my sake today?

Anesagi: Huh….! You noticed huh.

Banri: Um, from one point, vaguely! Because I thought we were visiting places that everyone went for a job.

Tsumugi: A-Actually…... I gathered recommendations from all the idols about Chainana Town and we were walking based on that.

Tsumugi: We wanted to celebrate Banri-san and they helped me so it will be a recreation for Anesagi-san and Okazaki-san…!

Okazaki: Really, we thought we supported them, but they always support us.

Anesagi: The ZOOL boys helped too. They’ve become good guys.

Banri: Ahahah! It was that kind of thing huh. I’m grateful that I could eat delicious things thanks to everyone.

Banri: ...So just before, we tasted really spicy spices that even the spice store assistant said that “Normal people won’t choose these” because...

Tsumugi: Sougo-san and Natsume-san selected it!

Banri: Yeah! That really makes sense!

Okazaki: It was too spicy that it made me laugh.

Anesagi: Even though I licked it only a little, it stimulated perspiration like crazy.

Banri: The rice porridge we ate after that felt really good...

Anesagi: Yeah. I’m thankful to the two people who gathered these plans.

Banri: I can think of it easily if it’s like fanservice...

Anesagi: Hey, Takanashi-san. You’ll be on the video too!

Tsumugi: Wawah…! Is everyone in it?

Anesagi: It’s fine. I’ll ask Ogami-san because he has the longest arms. Here, hold the phone.

Okazaki: Sorry, I’m disappointing you...

Banri: What are you saying, please leave it to me!

Anesagi: Say “I love you!” you guys.

Tsumugi: Eeeh?!

Okazaki: It’s a line I’ve never said once in my life though?!

Anesagi: So then isn’t it fine!

Banri: I got it!

Tsumugi: It’s easy for you huh...

Welcome to another episode of the Chad Chronicles, Season 2, Are You Flirting with me or Not?

So it was his birthday today... 😏

Since last night, I had been meaning to ask him out for Starbucks. I had everything planned because I knew it was only just gonna be the two of us in the early shift cause I knew that this other guy who always come in at 7 was on his 4 day weekend but NOOO. I was shook when he showed up at 7. Basically, he asked me if Chad was in today, I said yes and I kid you not, 1 minute later, he comes in and the other guy asks me "Do you have a million dollars?" 😂

Not the point. I was sooo close to chickening out from asking him to SB. I was even messaging Jacqui about how I can't do it but thank God she messaged me in time or else this would not really have happened. So basically, he stood up from his desk because he was cleaning he wiped his desk. So I go to him "You know that initiative you and Nicole are on? Are you guys allowed to take a break at the same time? I'm thinking of going to Starbucks later, wanna join?" MY HEART WAS THUMPING AND MY RIGHT HANDS WERE BEHIND THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY NECK THE WHOLE TIME. I probably stuttered too but I couldn't tell ya.

His reply was "Sure, yes". BUT HE COULD NOT LOOK ME IN THE EYE ARGH nahiya na din xa but I swear, he probably did not think anything of it at all since it was random hahah. Then I asked him, "What time do you wanna go?" He replied, "Maybe 10?" then I said "Cool, I'll message MF. It's Friday, let's treat ourselves!" Then he said, "Is she even in?" I replied, "Yes, she should be."

Then I brought up his birthday... I was like "Is this true? What I am seeing?" he was like 'what?' "Is it your birthday today?" He replied, "Mayyyybe....." So I whispered to him "Happy Birthday!" (Aaahh I was the one who wished him a happy birthday first in the office ☺️☺️☺️) Then he said, "Who told you?", I replied, "Facebook did!" To which he was like, "Darn, Facebook!"

Then I told MF about taking this risk and she was like "I'm glad you did! I would be the same way but you have to think, what's the worst that will happen? He will say, 'no thank you, no hot chocolate today.' But you can always ask him the next time. It's scary to do things out of your comfort zone though x.'

Damn hits all the feels! You just never really know an outcome until you actually go for it.

Then we went to SB at 10am. I made sure that I was at the till before him. He was behind me so I asked him, "Hey, what's your order? I'll pay since it is your birthday.' Then he was like, 'No don't worry about it, I can pay.' So I said, "Are you sure?" Then as I was about to order, MF was like 'he takes a peppermint hot chocolate!' so I turn around again and asked him 'Venti?' then he said yes. Argh RISK!!!!

Then we went to the collection point, he said "thanks Biancaaaa". I said "You're welcome! It is my random act of kindness today!" (CHAKA GUSTO MO LANG XANG LANDIIN EH 😂) Then we just made our way back into the office. Di xa gentleman ngayon, he didn't properly open the door to let us in first pero ok lang I will let this pass, birthday mo eh 😂

But swear, we were awkward for the rest of the morning!!! To the point where I really thought he was avoiding me!! Like at lunch time, he came up to MF and asked her "what's cooking" but he did not acknowledge my presence and that sucked man. Which made me overthink, yet again, if he thought about my gesture and if it meant more than me giving him a present. There was also this one time, where the guy beside him asked what the default text editor is on Mac and I said "I don't think there's any." Then Chad gave me this look as if 'why are you interrupting? We didn't ask you', so I was kinda mortified after that and started questioning whether if I did the right thing by buying him a hot choccie.

I was kinda disappointed for the rest of the afternoon while still trying to be positive. There was this moment, probs for like 10-15 mins, he was over at MF's desk and I was sooooo curious about what they were talking about, cos you never know, it could have been about me. But then, with like 1 hour left of our shift, he started talking to me again. He was playing with the mini basketball ring we had in work and he told me, "Bianca, raise your finger up" (so he can shoot the ring in my fingers, I saw him playing this with the same guy on our team who was not meant to be in today.) but it failed, my hand eye coordination is really bad! So I did the same thing for him but, unlike me, he catched it ahhahah FAM SANA ACTUAL RING NA UNG SUSUNOD NA LALAGAY MO SA FINGER KO HA JOKES

Then MF was over at his desk and towards the end of our shift and I go, 'Oh, MF, did you hear? They postponed the release of Mulan.' Then I saw him literally perked up and looked at me, with all ears, from his screens, like he literally moved his head forward, and I was trying to make eye contact with him too hahaha

Then when it was home time, I was near the doors with MF, he passed by me to grab his coat and I was like "sup", which he also replied "sup" and laughed a bit. I am an awkward turtle ok. At the lockers, I asked him what his birthday plans were and he said none so I joked, "Why not, this may be your last birthday celebration and he was laughing and said "Shit oh no!" AAAAAHHH SO HAPPY NAPATAWA KO XA ☺️☺️☺️☺️ Then he was like "There won't be 2021 anymore" then I said "it's like 2012!" "This is 2012 happening in 2020"

Then when we exited the office, he said goodbye to me at the main building doors because he thought I was going the opposite direction but I told him, "it's the weekend so I'm going to my parents' house, I only go the other way on the weekdays." So he was like "Oh so you take the luas?" I replied, "Yeah"

(REALISATION: HOW DOES HE REMEMBER I GO THE OPPOSITE WAY? He literally just saw me go the opposite way like once. Hellllooo enebe Chad. 😭)

So I walked beside him and that was verrrry awkward for a bit so eventually he looked at me, broke the ice and said "I am so tired" and I said "Same, I only had 4 hours of sleep last night." So he was like "Oh really?", I replied, "Yeah"

Then he tells me "I have also been sleeping late this week."

Me: "Why is that? what are you doing?"

Him: "nothing, just lost track of time."

Me: "oh true, it's like, we get home so early, we can do so much then suddenly it's 12 and oh shit, time to go to bed!"

He said, "haha yeah, true!" Then we got to the Luas stop to part ways as he drives, and I told him "Well enjoy your birthday and have a great weekend! See you!" He replied, "Thanks, You too, see ya!"

Today's probably one of my favourite moments of us. Everything was just really good. Thank You Lord for the confidence and for Jacqui messaging me at the right time and forcing me to ask him. I really hope we can get to know each other more and I can eventually ask him out. Jacqui said in love na daw tlga ako. Ung tipong I think about his feelings instead of mine and that is deep. She still tells me that I shouldn't let my guard down. But wala na eh ahahah

But I honestly hope, I made, or at least one of the people who made his birthday special. That is all I ask. I wonder if he thought about it.

Haaayyy, dating is complicated.
