As you can clearly see. I am messy and do bgs without any persp at all even during sketching, and instead do them through sheer violence

Bc im tired of my guys not looking consistent </3 #the second pic has a blank space between the flowers and trees bc idk what to put in between. in my refpic there's smaller trees #but idk if i want to draw those. Idk what i want actually. so until i decide: blank space #i also actually added the colors on the bgs for you guys- to get a clearer idea of the pic? #normally i do the colors after the lines- i usually have a clear idea of how my bgs' colors are too #so no need to do them during sketching. again. sheer violence (no this is very fun and therapeutic to me) #and as the eloquent 'FLOWERS' thing suggests- i do bg details at the same time im doing the colors- #it's quicker that way. Especially with things such as flowers where really there's just 2 colors and the shapes are #basic enough that i don't need a sketch for them. Same thing for the diner's inside. i COULD do a sketch for those details' placement but #no again it's just quicker that way. I'd rather do these lil details and mess up and correct them progressively than make my sketches #look 'cluttered' or make the characters' sketches lines be incomprehensible to me and make lineart harder #also yes im using a ref for the car but dw i'll add the link in the finished product #one last thing bc it's funny. the praying spam+mtt pic is something i did before my top surgery in december 2021 #i kept telling myself 'i'll finish this as soon as i recover!'... And i just didn't i did every other trans men pic in my head #but barely touched this one bc. idk actually but it's funny. Like i have THIS that i'm going to give SHADING and stuff #and i just don't do it instead i draw cowboy blue and spam and a vintage ad. im just like this #uas05 #koncept drawign
