hiiiii hello 🥰🍒 SO i'm taking this as you asking to hear my opinions about 5sos5 so ty so much for asking because 2011 got me excited beyond belief for what the new album could sound like. i feel like they are really in control of their sound i'm sure the nostalgic vibe of 2011 was intentional but like i am in love with the idea of a blend of old & new like pop punk/alt pop coming together to form their sound in the new album. i also liked the heavier songs instrumentally from calm a lot (wildflower, teeth, etc) so i would really love to see more of that in 5sos5 and that to meee could be part of how the sounds blend with a little less synth like we saw on YB and more instrumentation and i think also after ashton & luke both had the opportunity to put out solo projects they are really in the best place they've ever been as songwriters and musicians and i think 5sos5 can absolutely be their best album yet. i think they've gotten to explore what sounds they like and what like the "5sos" sound is versus personal sound and i'm so interested to see how that influences the band as a whole + michael on production perhaps for some songs???

ok sorry i haven't dumped feelings on 5sos in a while

we got tickets to bastille's tour for their new album give me the future so that was very exciting this morning 😌🤩 i hope your day/evening (idk it's 1am for me) is lovely!!
