Cottage Altar Update!!!

Omg I’m super excited to show you all the updates I’ve made.

Ok so first up is the outside. I redid the way the ivy and lavender drapes, added some red baby’s breath, and invited two new crow guardians! Target had the cutest corvid plushies so I may or may not have bought four of them and have two on my cottage…..

Shut up.

Next I added pink baby’s breath to the side window. It just feels really nice to look out and see them, plus when I find the right one, I’ll be adding a small wreath/ witches bells to both windows to help ward off anything unsavory. I also found a bookshelf that fits in there by the trash in my apartment complex! A lil cleaning and bam! Good as new!

Remember, you can thrift things and it’s just as good as if you bought it!

Now for the inside… omg I’m just falling in love with this part of customizing…….

That is part of the ceiling. Lots of lavender, some amethyst lights, star lights, a blue larkspur and some white eucalyptus.

Then the gold leaves, more ivy, some purple hyacinths, and pink roses and white eucalyptus up and down the columns.

I even found a pinecone and crow feather (it maybe a raven though, I can’t be too sure. Almost certain it’s a crow feather….) I wanna start incorporating real plant life in here too.

I am so freaking pleased with how it’s coming along.

Now each plant has properties to help with my craft. I chose them not just for looks, but for the vibrations they give off.

Dissociation, adult living and studying are fun.

Not really.

Anyway….. I finally got time to work on a personal project dear to my heart, super intimate as a process, and as a way to show dedication to my craft.

May I present…. My sacred space 💖

People have said that it looks like a witch’s cottage, some say it reminds them of the quidditch tent in Harry Potter (you’ll see why in a sec…..) and it reminds me of an apothecary in the middle of an enchanted forest that’s run by a fae, so I’ve begun to unironically call it Luna’s Magickal Mysteries.

And DAYUM is it a mystery….. let me show you why it’s getting the tent reference and why it reminds me of an apothecary…..

I dare you to tell me this isn’t giving forest potion maker vibes…..

Study and reference books, candles and definitely not a drawer with jars mind your business dammit…..

Tarot and oracle space, a super secret (not really I honestly just forgot to open it, it’s in the video) cabinet…..

Some things I’d like to point out:

The space hasn’t been consecrated yet, but that is coming. For now it’s been cleansed so I can do basic things. Tbh between me and my deities, I have a million ideas going through my mind that I want to finish.

My deities absolutely LOVE this. One was displeased with her candle placement, but once I fixed it, she was happy once again.

I have taken extra precautions to make sure that the candles don’t sent the tent up in flames, however so far I haven’t had a single problem.

The power is super concentrated to that one spot. It’s constantly warmer than the rest of the room, and there’s just a feeling of power emanating from it. I highly recommend this tent I linked if you’re the kind of witch that prefers enclosed spaces.

I spilled wax on it tonight though by accident…. 💖 But what a happy accident! 💖

Anyways, that’s all I have to report in for now. It’s my deepest hope and fondest wish that at least one person draws inspiration from my unfinished, humble cottage.

Tonight’s song shall be an instrumental meditation track that I use frequently. I hope that you’re able to use it yourself and achieve the peace of mind you deserve.
