creating a new identity:

aka; how to build an alter ego / how to create the new you / creating your higher self / create a new version of yourself

this is a guide for people who want to change their life around, and most importantly, change themselves (because obvi to change your life, you must first change yourself first). oki lets get started!!

3 reasons why you want to change:

first of all name at least 3 reasons WHY you want to create a new identity. some reasons could include:

wanting to get better at school/ higher grades

becoming more social

more stronger

more disciplined

becoming better at something (ex a language, instrument)

if you don't have your 3 reasons on why you want to create a new you, then your desire is probably not strong enough and you won't be able to stay consistent in it.

create the new you:

give it a name! (you can do this at any point tbh so not really important atm)

choose and decide the aspects of your new identity: (how they think, act, behave, feel. what their hobbies are, their habits, what type of person they are, how they treat others and themselves, etc etc)

write down these aspects in your notes app, notion, blog, docs, (wherever you want to). you don't have to go in full detail but just write everything that you need for this new identity so that if you forget or need to be reminded, you can just check that.* *reminder that you can create more than 1 identity/ alter ego! so for example you may have one thats for workouts/ sports, one thats for studying, one thats for socialising, etc. this means that you don't necessarily need to write other hobbies for an alter ego that is made for working out. you just need to write whats important to that specific identity.

once you've done all this, theres nothing left but to just BECOME. stop over planning and procrastinating, step into the energy of this new version of yourself. channel the energy and enjoy your life!

tips:

take inspiration from people in real life! this can be celebrities, anyone you've met and admired, movie/ tv show characters (for me; rory gilmore, elle woods, gina linetti), book characters, etc. you don't have to create a new alter ego from scratch, you can just adopt energy of a person that has already been created/ exists.

a signature something. give this new identity a signature scent, outfit, accessory, etc. anything just to give it a bit of a touch/ cherry on top <3

As a dedication to internet babies like myself, this is a pick a card about your cyber alter ego. I will channel stuff about your digital footprint and your cyber alter ego, and what you can learn from it.

Pile One

What is your digital footprint?

I feel like your digital footprint isn't easily traceable. You could be drawn to social networks like MySpace, but heavily into chat rooms or even forums. I'm not really seeing anything that makes me think of this as something that's in your past, I feel that these platforms could be a strong interest in your present, and that you also like to rotate in between sites with a new identity every single time. I do get that catfishing could be a guilty pleasure of yours, or sites where you are able to talk to real people without revealing too much of your identity which could explain why your internet whereabouts are hard to track.

About your cyber alter ego + What can you learn from it?

Your cyber alter ego, could be a hyper representation of a side of yourself that you don't feel confident enough to show to others, or an embodiment of what you feel you lack im real life. I'm picking up a lot of themes relating to promiscuity. I'm not getting that online dating or commitments online is what you like, it's the thrill of testing your appeal on others and exploring the different ways that you can successfully flirt and draw in a person. Your cyber alter ego could also be ever-changing and flighty, but also vibrant? Popularity could be easy for you to attain on any platform. In person, your persona could be opposite, maybe "Gothic", where you're reserved meaning, not as open with others, or you're not seen around many individuals. Whay you can learn from your cyber alter ego, is that the way that you're able to entice people online isn't pulled out of thin air, the alter ego is derived from yourself, which still essentially means that it's a part of you and is real. It's already within you, you just have to feel comfortable with expressing it face to face. Spend time with yourself by learning how to love the sound of your own voice, by setting up prompts for you to speak into the mirror with, or even try recording yourself, and anything else that involves eye contact with yourself. If you have social anxiety but are in spaces where you still have to communicate with others, just keep it simple when you're speaking and don't feel pressured to elaborate your sentences, and lastly, let time be your secret weapon, don't fall for relying on substances to make yourself more outgoing, just remember that you don't have to be anyone else but yourself at whatever time that you feel comfortable to. Also, don't let discourage yourself from approaching others for a conversation either!

What is your digital footprint?

I'm hearing "skimpy" but "long". Your digital footprint could be coordinated and can easily traced back to when you were a kid. Maybe you guys are hard-core gamers, and loved mmorpg games. There's something that I'm picking up about accounts, maybe you have a long history with x-box, steam, or any other software that offers a variety of different games to play. You could have a username that you use for many different accounts where you're providing other people content, or you're watching another person's content. Games from your childhood could be significant too as well (or maybe there's this game that you've been playing since you were a kid), like IMVU, Meez, OurWorld, Wizard101, Webkinz, Toontowns, etc.

About your cyber alter ego + What can you learn from it?

Your cyber alter ego could be strongly related to your inner child, the embodiment of the freedom that you didn't have so much of (strict parents?) in real life. Being able to talk the way you want as well as about what you want. Being drawn to games with avatars, where you can dress them how you've always wanted to dress yourself. Or even just loving fantasy themed sites because it's another escape from reality. What you can learn from your cyber alter ego, is more about remembering the care free expression with little to no restrictions that you've experienced with being online, in real life. I feel like people in the pile could be consumed by the responsibilities and pressure that comes with being older, and are in need of a break. When you have the time, take a chance to look back at those games that you used to play and see if they're still available. Log-in or create a new account and try to do something different relating to what you couldn't do when you were younger, like for an example, if you were on punishment a lot, or told that your internet usage was time-limited by a parent (or teacher! Because I'm literally thinking about coolmath and those papa pizzeria games), play for as long as you want, if there was a premium feature that you had to pay for, but your parents didn't let you, try buying it yourself just to indulge in the nostalgia and excitement of finally being able to do it, even if it wasn't what you expected it to be. Most importantly, just have fun and see this as a space for yourself that doesn't give you stress.

What is your digital footprint?

Immediately I'm picking up girlsgogames, stardoll, vsco, pinterest, and standom pages. Your digital footprint is very consistent and Venus related. A lot of you could be content creators related to blogging, aesthetic pages, have a platform where you share beauty and self-care tips, or graphic design. I haven't even gotten to your cyber alter ego part yet, but I want to say that you guys are awesome! Please pass me some of your organization skills and your will to loyally stick with your projects. I'm seeing YouTube (vlogging) being a significant part of your digital footprint as well.

About your cyber alter ego + What can you learn from it?

Your cyber alter ego is your safe space. The place where you can have control and order but also peace that you maybe don't get in real life. Your alter ego could also relate to giving others the help that you actually want for yourself. In some way, you heal others by combining words and visuals that promotes motivation, productivity, and enthusiasm. Even if you aren't into spirituality, subliminals or law of attraction or assumption pages, you really do help a lot of people with manifestation and perseverance. What you can learn from your alter ego, is that the the help and love that you give to others, can also be given to you because you deserve it, you know? You're someone worthy to believe in too, and the way that you effectively help the community, regardless if it's on the internet, is proof of that. Don't be hard on yourself but also remember that the life that you want for yourself is obtainable and that things won't always be this rough for you, because life doesn't necessarily "get" better, you do. Take a look at the content that you create and really give yourself a pat on the back at all that you've already accomplished and shared with others whenever you feel down about what hasn't happened yet.

“I met you in the dark, you lit me up You made me feel as though I was enough We danced the night away, We drank too much”

• Wilford is taller than Dark

• Dark is usally very uncomfortable with touches and Wilford knows it

• And because of that he very gentle with him

• As I wrote, Dark is uncomfortable with touches, but Wilford's gentle touches are comforting him

• Wilford is usally touches or fondles Dark's hands, when Dark is sleeping he fondles his face and kisses his neck gently

• They sleep in one bed, because when Wilford is around Dark, he feels comforted

• They usally don't talk in public

• It's like they don't even know each other

• But while that, Wilford still looks ot for him

• Wilford doesn't seem like this type of person, but he is very protective In the morning, he greets Dark with a cup of coffe

• As wake up, Wilford fondles Dark's hair gently while he whispers some words to him

• "Good morning, Darkling." Wilford smiles at him kindly as Dark slowly opens his eyes.

• When Dark can't sleep, he usally walks out in the kitchen

• A few minutes later, Wilford wakes up too and follows Dark and he hugs him from behind

• Dark doesn't jumps of the touches any more, because he used to Wilford's warm touches

• Dark doesn't like surprise kisses, but when Wil in a bad mood, he gives him one

• After the surprise kiss, Wilford smiles again

• And when his love is happy, Dark is happy too

• It's happens rarely, but when Wilford is drunk, he wants to hug Dark forever

• "I missed you so much, Darkling." Wilford comes into the room and he hugs Dark from behind before he could fall. "My beautiful sunshine, I love you so much!" he gives a warm kiss on Dark's neck.

"Are you drunk?" Dark looks up at him as he tries to push Wilford away.

"No." he says as he hugs Dark more tightly, so he can't push him away. If he would be a good liar, Dark could still figure out his lie.

"Don't lie to me, Wil." he says as Wilford kisses his neck gently. "You have vodka smell."

"Maybe, but your smell amazing and lovely as always." he breathes Dark's fragrance deeply. "Do you use new fragrance, Sweetheart?"

Dark's chuckles silently as he starts to lead him to the bathroom. "Take a shower, after that please go straight to bed." he closes the door but before he could do it Wilford grabs his hand.

"Don't leave me, Dark! At least take a shower with me." he starts to pull Dark inside.

"Wilford–"

"Please!"

Dark sighs tiredly as he looks in Wilford's eyes.

"Okay." he says as he steps inside the bathroom.

• Sometimes Wilford just goes to Dark and say to him "I love you" randomly

• Dark often smiles because of that

• While Dark is reading next to the fireplace, Wilford is usally shooting outside

• Sometimes Wilford grabs Dark's tight gently and dancing with him slowly

• Usally Dark blushing more often

• "You are so cute." Wilford smiles at him as he fondles his hand. Dark doesn't respond, but his face starts to burn better.

• When Wilford wears necktie, Dark helps him to bind it correctly

• On one day, Dark usally drinks 5 cup of coffe (or more 0.0)

• Dark usally hugs Wilford when he is sleeping

• They have very, very different music taste…

• But sometimes Wilford just listen Dark's songs with him

• Wilford's phone wallpaper is a picture of Dark

• There are some sweet nicknames for each other (•v•)

• For Dark from Wilford:

• Dark, Darkling, Darling, Sunshine, Sweetheart, Babe, Beautiful, Dear, Handsome, Honey

• Well… Dark doesn't really gives nicknames to his partner, but there's some of them

• For Wilford from Dark:

"Sometimes you just want to feel beautiful"

The truth is that I wanted to draw something spring theme, and I thought to make Andean with a "cute" makeup. At the end I liked the result, and probably I will draw something similar and some other version of Ande and Dean.

That, and I notice that it was quite a long time since I draw a new icon for my profile XD

I remembered getting frequent likes and reblogs from a specific user (unnamed in case they want to keep their past username anonymous). They gave me an ask saying simply “i love you.” But then, eventually I stopped getting notifs from them. Sometime after, the fucking hilarious user @wetsoppingboyvagina started appearing in my notifs. For some reason I didn’t connect the dots until I went back to my ask box and saw the very ask reading “i love you,” now under the user wetsoppingboyvagina. I was BAFFLED
