Anyway, if I had a nickel for every time a series had six installments that gradually escalated in ridiculousness, only for the sixth installment to end with a universe reboot and the seventh installment to pick up in a new universe where alternate versions of the original characters now exist in the distant past, I'd have two nickels.
One of those series is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The other is Riverdale

wait. wait wait wait. so yknow all those ninjago fics where a fan from our world gets isekai'd into the world of ninjago and has adventures about it. right? sound familiar? well, hear me out. what if instead of a fan of the show, it was actually, like, the fan's profoundly uninterested friend, who only has the vaguest scraps of secondhand knowledge from listening to the fan's rants all these years? (but also they werent paying attention like at all so theyre still horribly confused). and at one point theyre like:
"hang on. i remember someone is supposed to die fighting the overlord, but also my friend talked about a lot of characters dying, so that doesnt actually narrow it down like at all. but also we just fought the overlord and everyones alive, so idk what thats all about."
*one year later*
"OH THATS WHAT THEY MEANT. WHAT THE FUC-"
and idk maybe they learn a valuable lesson about respecting their friend's interests a bit more. who knows. but mostly its just them being really confused for 15 seasons. chaos ensues.

As an ace person I love how Shen Qingqiu assumes asexuality in people around him after transmigrating before even considering the possibility of bi or homosexuality. Like he builds up this whole straight vs. ace binary where he interprets people as the latter if he has to admit they might not be the former, and meanwhile I'm just here feeling all like "bro how DO you know about asexuality even given your spotty track record surrounding queer knowledge—"

Lowkey, I think one of my favorite little things about Rescue Bots is how we get to learn a little more about Optimus when he shows up. Like, not war stuff or Orion Pax stuff, but just little things about Optimus.
One of his favorite Earth stories is The Little Engine That Could. Does he read in his spare time and if so, how did he find Little Engine?
He tells Heatwave that he has also been learning from humans. What has he learned? The phrase "Nothing much, double dutch." Who the fuck taught him that? My money's on Miko. Jack would not have the audacity to add that to Prime's vernacular.
He has a motherfuckin' rocket powered car carrier capable of hauling four bots. And since Team Prime had four four-wheelers on the team prior to Darkness Rising, you could reasonably assume that he has used it with Cliff, Bee, Bulk, and Ratch
Optimus knows what a pogo stick is. That isn't anything noteworthy, I just think it's funny.

The four Sages were called back into the past by Terrako and they remember it happening
Tulin got to meet his hero, Revali, and decided to be just like him, adopting his idol’s brash personality and drive. He practises Revali’s Gale and eventually comes up with his own way to show off his mastery of wind, and when trouble hits his home he rushes to fix it on his own to prove how strong he has become and because, like Revali, he can’t stand idly by while he knows there’s still things he can do.
For Yunobo, when he goes back and meets his ancestor Daruk, he is a very timid and reactive Goron. He needs a push from others to come up with ideas and carry plans through, and when bad things happen to him his first instinct is to use his fire magic as a shield, to wait until the threat has passed by or somebody else has come to save him. But when he is sent back in time to Divine Beast vah Rudania, for the first time he has to be the one doing the saving. Daruk encourages Yunobo and is proud of him from the moment they meet, and it’s this support that gives Yunobo the confidence to help fight against Calamity Ganon, and to start YunoboCo when he gets home.
For Sidon, meeting his family from 100 years ago is bittersweet. He is proud that he was able to protect his sister, and it’s a comfort to know there is a version of him who will grow up alongside Mipha because of his bravery and fighting prowess. But as much joy as he got from seeing her, hugging her, and hearing her voice again, it just reminds him of how unfair her death was, of just how young she was when she died and how he is now older even though he’s the younger sibling. And at the end of the war, when he’s returned to their original time, he has to readjust to her absence all over again, and in light of that is it really a shock he’d have her statue moved further away from his home? And it also explains why he’s so desperate to protect Yona from the sludge.
Riju in AoC still a new ruler to her people, despite her accomplishments in BotW, she still feels guilty over the temporary loss of the Thunder Helm and isn’t sure if she can lead the Gerudo. She has a lot of confidence but is quick to falter when things go wrong. Urbosa treats Riju as a capable fighter despite her young age, and teaches her that she should never give up, to keep trying even when her resolve falters. There is always something you can do, even when it’s just stalling for time until help can arrive. Urbosa guides her in mastering the Thunderhelm, and possibly begins teaching her to summon lightning herself after Kohga attempts to steal it, and at the end of their time together Urbosa tells Riju she’s certain she’ll lead the Gerudo well. Riju treasured her time being mentored by Urbosa so much that she considers what Urbosa would do during the Upheaval in her diary in TotK.
I think the entire reason Tulin was added to the DLC was because the TotK team had already decided that Tulin was going to be the Sage of Wind, and that since the other sages were going to meet their Champions Tulin had to as well.
At some point in the years between Botw and TotK Teba, Tulin, Sidon, Yunobo, Riju and Patricia were summoned back in time by Terrako to aid the Champions during the Calamity, and even though those events took place in a parallel timeline and had no bearing on the world they returned to, the Sages’ personalities at the beginning of TotK are because of their experiences during the Calamity and the bonds they made with the Champions.

Spirk is so adorable until you realize that the time that Kirk and Spock spent together is so disproportional from each other.
And I did the math to show y'all:
Assuming the Memory Alpha Wiki is correct; James T. Kirk was born in 2233 [in March apparently!] and S'chn T'gai Spock was born 3 years before in 2230 [in January, which is kinda cool].
Still assuming all wiki data is correct than they first meet in 2259, when Kirk is 26 and Spock is 29. Let's assume they assumed a friendly association with each other until Kirk took control of the Enterprise in 2265.
That means [and assuming the pair remained together until Kirk's death] the two of them shared a total of 34 years together. Kirk died at the age of 60, Spock died at the age of 161.
BUT! What's important is also the percentage of their life that had the other in it.
For Kirk it would be [if everything is correct and hypothetically K/S did start forming a friendship/relationship in 2259] approx. 57% of his life. THAT'S OVER HALF. No wonder he was so sad when Spock had died. By that point in his life he'd lived half his life with the Vulcan.
Spock, by scary contrast, spent a whopping 21% of his life with Kirk. Now, using the average human lifespan [69 years for men] that roughly equates to knowing someone for 14 years.
So basically: Kirk spent half his life with his T'hy'la whilst Spock didn't even spend the human equivalent of a decade and a half with his T'hy'la.
THAT IS SHAKESPEARIAN LEVELS OF TRAGIC.
