More characters to share! Soren and Alvina! These two are actually very new, but I have a decent amount of story on them already that I’m liking quite a bit! This first picture here may be a bit misleading, because it makes Soren (the blonde fellow) look like he may be a giant, but he’s actually human-sized and the elf girl who’s named Alvina is small! I was still figuring them out when I drew this, and I still am… but with each drawing I’m learning more about them!

I decided that the human is a bounty hunter, and because the elven girl is a thief and has rubbed quite a few people the wrong way, elves and humans alike, he was commissioned to go after her and bring her in. Even though in the first picture I drew above with them she’s be spotted, I’d like to think that she still gave him a very good run for his money and proved to be more of a challenge than he first thought.

Eventually he captures her, brings her back, but then finds out that instead of simply jailing her like he assumed, his client wants to actually… well.. solve their problem with her permanently. This doesn’t sit well with him, so he makes the decision to help her escape. Once making it, they go their separate ways (mostly because she wants to. He actually suggests that they make a good team and should stick together, but she seems to disagree.) However not too long after, Soren then finds himself in his own predicament. His ex-client wasn’t too happy about him interfering and he becomes a target himself. Now he gets captured, and Alvina finds out. (somehow she does. Not too sure of how yet lol) She tries convincing herself that it’s none of her concern anymore, but can’t help eventually going to help him out. Something about his obnoxiousness, cocky, yet charming personality managed to get her. Here’s a picture I sketched to depict that part

After some more escaping escapades, they find themselves together once more, and of course Soren points that out as a sign. They’ve got to stick together now. He yet again proposes the idea of them forming an alliance of sorts. Alvina reluctantly agrees, telling herself that she could always change her mind later. But… that never really ends up happening. >w>

Side note: I was still trying to figure out their size difference in the first two pics, but this last one here I think is where I’d like it to be. Maybe even make her a tad bigger? We’ll see as I get to draw them more!

Okay so, likely lore dump but we start with Fey Acosta, our nonbinary lesbian protag who lives in Costa Rica with their big family and, rather dragon themed, house. Fey is very similar to characters like Luz and Mabel where they're optimistic to a fault and love magic and wonder and especially flying pigs. Though Fey often struggles with grades, they finally got into Terminus Dragon Rider Academy, and get to persue their dream of exploring magic and dragons!

So they get there, where they meet the Battery Squad (because all their name's start with A), Allie Valley Nightingale, a preppy vampire girl from Transylvania (which is a place in the Magical Realm in this world), Aleks Vixingson, a human who loves unicorns and magic like Fey and while he's veeerry feminine and everyone thinks he's gay, no. He is the only cisgender and straight one of the group, and Alvina Sparkles Glitterbottom the 3rd, a pixie elf hybrid who's mom works as a maid at the academy and is the most serious one (despite what her name might make you think). They get into hijinks together, starting on the first day where they sneak off from the orientation speech that the Headmaster was giving. (What really happened was Fey wasn't paying attention and instead heard something and went to investigate. Allie followed them, followed by Aleks and Alvina.

The noise ended up coming from the dragon stables, and is how we meet Fey's dragon, Lunes. A rebellious troublemaker with a mind of her own. The interaction ends up being Fey opening the stable doors and Lunes bursting out, taking Fey with her as she made a break for it. The Battery Squad also tried to follow them, and Headmaster saw them take off from the orientation, leaving another staff member to finish the speech as he set chase on his loyal dragon companion, Comet. Eventually, things are sorted out when an electromagnetic barrier around the school disrupts a collar on Lunes, causing her and Fey to both fall, before Headmaster and Comet catch them.

And that's like, basically the first episode.
