Okay, hear me out. a jegulus miraculous au.. James is ladybug, and his superhero name is Helios (named after the sun god). Regulus is chat noir, and his superhero name is Astraeus (name after the star god)

Regulus, like Adrien, has to live up to his family's expectations, and the only time he can be himself is when he is Astraeus

James is friends with everyone and will do anything he can to help them, and everyone loves him like marinette!!!

also imagine the love square?! Astraeus loves Helios, but he's in love with Regulus, who denies his feelings for James because he loves Helios!!! Also, the black brother angst would be amazing, Sirius escaped the family and became a rockstar while Reg is stuck doing whatever his mother tells him to do.

the characters would be something like

Marinette - James (ladybug - Helios)

Mayura - Orion (He does whatever Walburga asks him to)

Kagami - Barty (Can have some bartylus, but they realise they're not meant for each other, and then it turns into jegulus and rosekiller!!)

Felix - Evan (just in the sense that i NEED rosekiller and i feel like they would have a similar dynamic to kagami and felix, also i kinda love the idea of Evan and Reg being cousins)

Rose - Pandora. They're both so sweet and everyone loves them.

Juleka - Emmeline (i dont know much about her, but the fics I've read with emmadora are adorable. I love them, and i feel like they'd have the same sort of relationship as juleka and rose)

Ghost Brother Au resurrecting just like our best boy Danny

My Brain: Okay, so the exact timeline is-- Me: Shut up about the timeline, shut up about the timeline!!

Danny was a member of the Casper High French class when he was in Amity Park. he wasn’t good at it, but it got him by. unfortunately for Danny, he forgot about the Annual Senior Year Trip to Paris.

Danny is working with his parents when Valerie of all people walks into the bakery.

Marinette watches them interact; this is the first person from Danny’s past to ever find him and she’s curious. Is she a friend? An ex-girlfriend? She’s nosy.

They’re thrilled to see each other again, even though Danny is hiding that they know each other from the Dupain-Chengs. Valerie spent the last three years thinking Danny was dead He says that he ran bc he was hiding from the ghost that killed his family, which is true from a certain point of view. They exchange numbers.

Valerie gives his number to Vlad.

Valerie has basically become a full-blown employee of Vlad at this point, still not knowing he’s a half-ghost. Ghosts are still in Amity Park, just not as much in number, probably left over juju from the Fenton portal. Obviously she’s going to report that the boy he’s been looking for for years is in Paris.

Vlad, still a fruitloop and having next to no idea on what actually happened during Ultimate Enemies, is determined to get his soon-to-be son.

What happened from Vlad’s PoV: Danny got caught cheating and the entire family, friends, and teacher met at the Nasty Burger. A ghost--identity unknown--attacks and Danny fights him, but the nasty burger blows up in the process. Everyone dies (and for a while, Vlad thinks Danny died too) and the mysterious ghost is in the wind.

he knows a vague description of the mystery ghost/dan. White flaming hair, black and white suit with a cape, green skin and pointed ears. whoever vlad interrogated didn’t see the phantom symbol on Dan’s chest though

Vlad, instead of being happy that Danny’s been found, is furious. Instead of coming to him after his family died, Danny ran away across the ocean, and even allowed some random people to adopt him!? Even though Vlad’s been trying to find him, even though Vlad was there the entire time!?

He wants his son. Now.

Vlad calls Danny, scaring him, threatening his family. Danny is horrified and furious, but manages to negotiate a meeting, telling Vlad that he’d explain everything. Vlad has reservations at Le Grand Paris at lunch. Danny agrees to go.

Danny tells his parents that he can’t work around noon, he’s eating lunch with someone. Alya is there (sleepover?) and tries to interrogate him about where he’s going and who he’s going with, but Danny shuts it down.

Marinette thinks that he’s going to eat out with Valerie from the other day. Danny’s never dated before (to her knowledge) or even had a crush (again to her knowledge), so Alya convinces her to follow Danny.

Danny dresses himself to the nines, due to the location of their meeting, but takes the time to slip on one of the first bracelets Marinette made for him when he moved it. It’s made of yarn and clay beads, but he loves it. It’s from his new life.

Danny arrives at the restaurant at Le Grand Paris, though he’s there early and takes a seat inside. Alya and Marinette can’t get in at first, but because her mom’s the chef, they get a table nearby.

they’re wearing comically bad disguises, but Danny’s so distracted that he doesn’t notice them.

Chloe spots them and tries to throw a fit, but they fill her in on the deets---aka, Danny’s on a date and they’re spying. I’ve decided that Chloe has a crush on both Danny and Kaitou LeBlanc (non-reciprocated of course), so she’s immediately down to clown with the other girls.

Imagine their confusion when some middle-aged man sits down at the table.

Danny fully intended to tell Vlad what happened. It’s been years, he’s had therapy, but when he tries to tell Vlad... he chokes.

It doesn’t help that Vlad is being a total a-hole about this. Insulting the hotel, the city, Danny’s grasp on the French language (which has improved dramatically, he’s proud to report). Vlad doesn’t particularly care about answers, he wants the son he was promised.

Vlad gives an ultimatum; Danny comes with him willingly and Vlad won’t destroy his family. He’s a powerful man; he can shut down one little bakery, get one girl expelled from school, get two parents arrested for kidnapping. Vlad can ruin them.

It should be noted that Vlad didn’t know about the current situation in Paris. The Mayor had been keeping it quiet. If he’d known, he would have arranged for their conversation to occur outside the boards of the city.

Neither man nor teen notice the butterfly landing on his bracelet.

“Le Phantome, I am Hawkmoth. I will grant you the power to retaliate against the man threatening your family. In return, all I ask is for Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous.”

Danny knew he should say no. He should fight. But two words slipped out instead. “Yes, Hawkmoth.”

A black, bubbling ooze overtook Danny. In his place was a man with green skin and pointed ears, flaming white hair, and a black and white supersuit with a cape. Almost exactly like Dan.

I’m actually screaming about this episode

…so Migration came out! Let’s get this over with, I am going through it right now.

So episode starts, Marinette runs over to Luka gives some lame excuse to talk to him, kinda fucking flirts with him, proceeds to cry about Adrien, has Luka comfort her, victimizes herself crying about how selfish she is to cry to Luka after she treated him like shit (which she did) the show justifies her and she runs off as happy as ever to flirt with Adrien

…so the episode is off to a great start!

Anyways adrien goes and asks Luka for advice about marinette constantly hiding things from him and how he’s scared to love someone that can’t be honest with him (Yknow like how marinette/ladybug have been treating him like shit for 4 seasons?) and Luka is like “it’ll be ok” but also gives Adrien some good advice about figuring himself out and it’s Lukadrien crumbs so I’m not as mad about this conversation

And basically it becomes this montage where everyone (specifically marinette Adrien jagged, who I still don’t forgive PAY YOUR CHILD SUPPORT, and Penny who is into Jagged for whatever reason) all come to Luka for advice and he helps all of them

…CUZ ITS NOT LIKE LUKA CAN EVER NEED HELP WITH ANYTHING NO GUYS HES THE HELER HE WILL HELP EVERYONE AND NEVER GET ANYTHING IN RETURN AND ITS FINE BECAUSE HE CANT HAVE ANY DESIRES OF HIS OWN!!!

But after that, Bob Roth comes in, scans kitty section into writing a contract with him, and threatens to basically just use Luka as a replacement jagged because Jagged’s being too focused on family (which he isn’t but ok)

Blah blah blah, Luka is almost akumatized and Monarch figures out of nowhere that Luka somehow knows the identities of ladybug and chat noir? Like from vague emotions? WHATEVER NOTHING HERE MAKES SENSE, day is saved, contracts are ripped up, and Luka… reveals to Ladybug that he knows who she and Chat Noir are.

Listen. I fucking hated that scene so. much. Luka tells ladybug, and she makes it all about herself (first about how Luka must still be in love with marinette, and then about how awful it is that he knows, cuz it’s not like practically all of Paris knows Alix’ identity and monarch has all the miraculouses and identities of the heroes) and Luka has to comfort her, AGAIN, and Adrien is AGAIN, NEVER INFORMED OF ANY OF THIS UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE OF THIS EPISODE AS A CIVILIAN!!! SO ADD ANOTHER SECRET TO THE PILE OF SECRETS AND LIES THAT THIS BITCH IS CONSTANTLY TOLD, NO WONDER HE IS SCARED OF MARINETTE HIDING SHIT FROM HIM, BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS DID AND ALWAYS WILL TREAT HIM LIKE LESSER THEN!!!

(It’s the way this could have been a genuinely good Lukadrien moment that fleshes out Adrien and Luka’s relationship beyond marinette, and allow Adrien to think about anything outside marinette and reconsider what he wants from a relationship! I will say the fact the show put the entire animation budget of the episode to one look Adrien gives Luka makes me happy)

And the thing is? THERES NO FUCKING REASON FOR LUKA TO LEAVE THE SHOW! The show argues that he needs to leave because Monarch knows he knows who ladybug and chat noir are, BUT ALYA KNOWS WHO LADYBUG IS, MONARCH KNOWS SHE KNOWS, BUT THE SHIW WILL BRUSH THAT ASIDE BECAUSE THEY NEED PEOPLE CONSTANTLY SUPPORTING MARINETTE!

The show is only writing Luka out of the show because he remains a threat to the status quo! He could have easily changed the entire nature of the show if he had a scene with Adrien where they discuss the fact he knows Adrien’s identity, which would turn into a conversation about everything ladybug did and a constant secrets, and force marinette to grow as a person, BUT NOOOOO THAT WOULD IMPLY MARINETTES NOT PERFECT AND ACTUALLY MAKE THE SHOW PROGRESS AND GIVE ADRIEN SOMETHING BEYOND BEING THE LOVE INTEREST TO WORRY ABOUT!!! LETS JUST HAVE LUKA BE FORCED TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY WITH HIS SHIT NEGLECTFUL DAD THAT NEVER PAID CHILD SUPPORT FOR 15 YEARS!!!

It’s so upsetting that the show keeps picking and choosing when to use the identity rule, and it’s only ever to maintain a status quo and have marinette come out on top as the greatest! ITS SHIT WRITING!!!

The only good thing that came out of this episode is the only Lukadrien hug and look from Adrien, and the fact Juleka gets to lead Kitty section now (tho they queerbated us with Julerose, making rose say she loves Juleka, only to quickly list other friends because oh no we can’t have a blunt confirmation in this fucking show can we?)

A Miraculous Ladybug fic that I might or might not write someday:

Marinette centric, long multi-chap

During an Akuma attack, Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth figures out Ladybug’s secret identity (no one else discovers it). Marinette returns from school to Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth standing in front of her burned down bakery, with her parents dead inside. 

Thinking fast, and running on adrenaline and hate, Marinette manages to dodge Hawkmoth’s attempts to catch her and she escapes with the Miracle Box, no Kwami lost. 

Marinette is left without anywhere to go, too scared to try living with any of her other family members. She begins to spiral, sacrificing her life as ‘Marinette’ in favor of being Ladybug as much as humanly possible. 

Regularly pulling all nighters and fueled by the energy boosts of having superpowers, Marinette and Ladybug both are messes. Chat Noir and all of Paris are concerned about Ladybug, and the entire class is worried about Marinette.

When she isn’t paranoidly patrolling the city for days on end, Marinette crashes with Alya, Luka and occasionally Kagami. Her excuses growing weaker and weaker until she just stops bothering trying to explain things, walking out of class whenever she needs to be Ladybug, and climbing through her friend’s windows to sleep on the cots that they don’t even bother taking down anymore.

Marinette’s constant fear and overprotectiveness of the Kwamis leads to her regularly sacrificing her own needs for them, often choosing to give them her meals while she just barely makes due with the scraps she keeps for herself.

Eventually, things would catch up with Marinette, and the class (minus Lila) would realize the full extent of what she’s going through (they thought that she was staying with her grandfather, and she swore Alya and Luka to secrecy), obviously, this will not do, so the class and their parents all pitch in to help her out.

On the superhero side of things, Chat Noir, after figuring out Ladybug’s current situation, becomes even more determined to stop Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth from doing anything more, so that Ladybug won’t live in fear of visiting her own family.

Sooner or later, he and Ladybug take down Gabriel, revealing their secret identities in the process. Adrien is conflicted about his father being Hawkmoth, but after discovering that the man had killed the parents of one of his closest friends/love interest and completely destroyed her mental health, he can’t bring himself to have sympathy.

(On a side note, over the course of the fic, Marinette’s inner monolog slowly stops calling her “Marinette” more and more as she spirals and starts referring to herself only as “Ladybug” and “The Guardian”)

Class of Heroes AU: Another HC Post

Ya girl had another random burst of inspiration, and this was what resulted from it. As always, credit to @imsparky2002 and @artzychic27! Enjoy!

The heroes regularly have ‘Feelings Circles’ (I like these, okay?) where they all come together and can share whatever they feel they need to, from emotional issues to academic problems to crisis management. They pass around Ondine’s dinglehopper as the ‘speaking stick’ and everyone leaves feeling better than they did prior. They give these gatherings quite a bit of credit for the closeness and trust between them.

Marinette owns eight different swords, each one given a name relating to how she got it. They are all mounted on the wall of her room and she uses them interchangeably.

As a member of the royal family of the Pride Lands, Mireille's roar is loud enough to cause shockwaves that shake the entire school as well as shattering windows.

Lacey is the only fairy in Neverland whose wings emit a sound like bells when they flutter. This has earned her the nicknames 'Jingles' from Simon.

Alya has learned to cook all of her friends' favorite foods in order to comfort them if they're feeling down.

Kim, Denise, and Ivan (much like in the MonsterVerse) have been christened the 'Buff Squad' by a few of the others. They have frequent group workouts and lifting sessions (which their partners love watching).

They will also happily carry any of their friends to their destination if they're tired or just not feeling up to it. They're just nice like that.

Aurore, Nino and Lacey have a special Fairy Squad handshake, where they stand back-to-back and flutter their wings in unison.

When Max is very stressed or extremely zoned into a project he's working on, he will communicate through Morse Code.

Ondine loves the song Baby Shark, completely unironically. She listens to it all the time. She likes it so much that the others actually sang it for her on her birthday.

Rose usually has her head in a book, and by this point, she's completely memorized the school halls so she never bumps into anything.

Alix has something small she's taken from each of her friends that she keeps in a special box to remember them if she ever ends up alone on the streets again.

Reshma has a giant pet Venus Flytrap that she grew herself. It's name is 'Precious'.

There are only two things, three words that can wake up Nathaniel from his sleep: "Marc" and "Tater Tots".

I need to vent while I cry so au that I might delete later. This is also very much and will always be a first draft.

Tw for homophobia and transphobia

So, basically the entire akuma class is queer. Adrien is nonbinary, Ivan is trans, Marinette is god knows what, I feel like the rest is obvious. Mylene is the only cishet there but she will quicker turn to violence then let anyone talk shit to her friends or boyfriend.

Ms B is the most supportive adult in some of their livess so they confide in her when they're trying to figure something out. Andre (the mayor) somehow catches wind of something queer in his daughter's class and turns out he is a little homophobic, but whats worse is audrey is mega homophobic. She makes him do law things and make it mandatory for teachers to report kids who are openly out.

Chloe confronts them but they shut her down and honestly scare her. They don't find out about Chloe but they do find out about Zoe. Someone reported her at school and Andre thought isolation with fix any problem so he went full Agreste and made her stay in a room as far from chloe as possible. This situation is what causes Chloe to actually offer a sister relationship with zoe. She sat outside Zoe's door, unallowed in, and talked for hours, sliding homework under the door and working together. Chloe needs to ask for advice but Ms B is telling the class she had to resign for everyone's sake. The temp teacher is some dude and the first thing he does is introduce himself then his personal beliefs. Those beliefs are better left unsaid and the class kinda gets loud for a sec and he threatens them and they get a little louder, thinking there is power in numbers but he shuts them down, saying he will report only one of them if the rest got quiet. At random he picks chloe. He threatened to slowly make his way through the class until no one was left. Before anyone argued he had already made a note.

The next thing you know, chloe is getting yelled at and her parents are saying less than kind things. For some reason, they're like, isolation isn't working and then send chloe to conservation camp. This is now chloleka. Juleka, Luka, Zoe, and Rose plan a heist when they find out from Zoe who finally snuck out, and get some of their classmates to help. 'Girl'squad sleepovers at alya's and Marinette's, safety in numbers and all that, plus they know alya and Marinette's parents are safe. Heist goes down, chloleka have a choni kiss and escape. Everything goes smooth except someone tried to stab Luka and Zoe stopped them, taking some damage in the process. They skedadle, getting home safe. The class is very much in a safety in numbers mindset. Gabriel literally just doesn't care so a lot of sleep overs happen and Adrien's. They just try to get through the school year, there are some close calls, chloe and zoe don't return to school, Gabe finds out Adrien is nonbinary and just starts a new fashion line that plays on both feminine and masculine traits.

And yeah, I feel better now so they all live happily every after, chloe and zoe get online education, courtesy of Gabe. They all graduate and move into one big apartment complex and live happily ever after, finding family in the familiar and hope where there was none. Also luka and zoe bonded after the heist and idk if that makes sense as a relationship but my limited knowledge of current ml allows me to say they do.

Happy pride month. Screw anyone who preaches hate. I love you. No matter who you are or what you've done there is a place in my heart with over a thousand capacities to fill for anyone who needs it.

Miraculous Wielding Changes (On Characters)

Marinette (Creation)

Marinette doesn't really notice it when her mind fills up with designs and ideas every moment. She was already so close to that, it's not a notable thing for her.

She does notice when her drawings get to be entirely identical to the ideas in her mind. She notices when it gets easier to create things without as much effort.

She knows, at that point, that there's no going back.

Adrien (Destruction)

Adrien doesn't mind the changes, not at first. It makes it easier for him to let out his anger the more he stops caring about the damage he does.

Destruction is not kind, though, and by the time he notices how far he's fallen, it's become clear that he is already unable to stop, his willingness to destroy gone too far.

Alya (Manipulation)

(This is more suited to the tone of the new series. That's the reason for the slight change. Manipulation is because it covers a lot more than just illusions.)

Alya has always had an easier time than most figuring out the truth from lies. She doesn't like it when people try to conceal the truth from her. It's almost surprising when it becomes so very easy to hide herself, to change her words and her face in order to get people to tell her things.

She almost loves it. It helps her feel more real sometimes, but it also makes her wonder.

What does it mean about her, that she's so good at lying? What does it say, that she can't seem to stop anymore?

Nino (Protection)

Nino has never been a fighter. He knows this. He's not one to get into a fight, he's not one to try to get in between two people in a fight.

It's a surprise to him, the first time he jumps in front of Alya when an akumatized villain goes after her. It's even more surprising when he does it again and again.

Chloe (Knowledge)

(did you know bees can count to four and have a concept of zero? Bees are smart! Let the bees be smart!)

Chloe likes knowing things. Secrets, problems, it doesn't matter. It gives her a way to protect her friends. It gives her a chance to protect her family.

It's easy enough to learn things about people. They don't hide it, not in her eyes. People talk, and people argue, and you can't escape the people.

It seems, at first, that the Bee is perfect for her. But still, she changes. She learns things she never would've wanted to know before. She learns how to perfectly distribute information she has to force people to listen to her.

She learns how to manipulate.

Gabriel (Transformation)

Gabriel doesn't recognize himself anymore. His face looks different when he sees it in the mirror, and it's become too easy to become a different person for a day or so.

He doesn't remember how he used to be, but he knows it wasn't this, and he can't help but wonder how Emilie would think of him.

It almost makes him wonder if this truly is worth it.

Nathalie (Emotion)

Nathalie has always been an empathetic person, willing to help others and always understanding of them.

Now, though, it's starting to take on a different meaning. She thinks there's something wrong with her, knowing what people are feeling all the time.

Maybe Gabriel was right. Maybe she shouldn't be using the peacock.

(Damaged miraculi have... interesting effects, if that explains things. More power seeps into the person. Makes you wonder what it would be like if a person used a miraculous for a very long time, doesn't it? Would they still even be able to be considered human?)

hi I have a couple things I would like to ask

I know your feelings on fruits basket are quite negative by looking through you blog ( completely valid not judging) But I am curious as to what you did like about it? And aside from not giving Akito a redemption arc what else would you have liked to see changed?

Concerning miraculous what are your thoughts on ships like the love square ,lukanette, kagaminette, adrinino, lukadrien and alyanette?

And if you could make any changes to that show what would they be?

Side note you are absolutely right about Andre the ice-cream man he is insanely creepy, he is a grown adult and yet he acts like a bratty kid throwing a tantrum when things don't go his way. Such an unnecessary character.

When I watched Fruits Basket as a teenager, I really liked the found family aspect of the show, and seeing how Tohru bonded with Yuki and Kyo. Things went to shit when it steadily became clear that Tohru was going to become the Sohma family’s therapist, and that instead of going to therapy, or addressing any of the issues that the main characters had, they all magically got better after a couple of pep talks from her. I also hated the fact that all of the characters were paired up, usually with other members of their own family, as it left no room to the imagination for shipping. The heavy levels of incest within the family are disgusting as is, but the story of Tohru’s parents was somehow even worse. Why is almost every parent in Fruits Basket horrible? NO. Katsuya Honda was a CHILD RAPIST. Statutory rape is still rape. The entire show deserves to be shoved into a trash compactor. Nothing can save it. Nothing can redeem it. Nothing.

As for miraculous, I hate the love square because I hate the way Marinette treats Adrien, and I hate the fact that Adrien is reduced to being her emotional support pet. Adrien’s ‘nice guy’ behaviour when he’s Chat Noir is also disgusting. To be honest, I don’t really like any of the main ships, or anything involving Alya and Nino. None of them interest me, and none of them have any meaningful development or impact. It frustrates me because the show started out with so much potential, but it’s now gone to shit. Chloe deserved a redemption arc, Zoe shouldn’t exist, Marinette should be less of a Mary Sue, and Adrien should be his own dang person, and not reduced to Marinette’s sidekick/emotional support pet.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?? is there more side affects to the miraculous? is the fact that she literally has the god of destruction constantly near her constantly and uses his powers nearly every day changing how she views things? is she literally growing more powerful in terms strength? multiple powers eg another thing like cataclysm? there are so many things it could mean-

Crows keep showing up... and for a second i wondered if it was related to Rose and was a reference to OM since yknow rose is a grim and crows are also signs of death, but then they popped up again and i'm now suspicious, either i am reading too far into this or they could mean a few things: first thought was they could be related to Juleka and her powers, similar to how cats are attracted to her? or a few other things but i shall keep those theories to myself (see how you like not knowing cap /j) and wait and see for more

"apparently some floats were gonna appear of Paris's heroes. Ladybug, Rena, Queen Bee, Carapace, the lot" i am choosing to believe this is juleka being an unreliable narrator and not that they (the city) forgot about. because that makes me sad.

ha, Alix's "SCATTER!" was hilarious, she would do that at the first opportunity, i too would do so at the first opportunity presented

Juleka kicked Horrificators ass?? as Juleka did this with a guitar case?? ain't that thing supposed to be a massive fucker?? either this is just another case of juleka being stronger than she seems to be or this is related to her ominously put growing powers, its always interesting to see how she deals with fights when she isn't in costume, one of the reasons why the drama club chapters were so interesting because Juleka was fighting (maybe not physically all the time but she was fighting) Adam as herself the entire time

HOW DOES THE TRANSFORMATION NORMALLY FEEL VS NOW GIVE ME MORE the real question is it related to "growing powers" (i keep referencing it because it could mean literally so much or nothing) or her attitude, i don't have a direct quote but this isn't my english exam so its fine, it was implied that Juleka is slightly more accepting about the fact that she literally is Panthera (i mean she also said Panthera isn't a real person but like i digress) so maybe thats why it felt different to transform?

If I had to pick an episode where it all went wrong, I would pick Volpina, all of the wasted potential that that episode could've set up. The writers try to convince us that Adrien and Lila have bigger roles than they do but completely miss the opportunity to give them these roles. WHY did the writers take the grimoire away from Adrien the second he found it? The ONE THING that gave his character agency, "Why does my father have an ancient text about the Miraculous hidden behind a painting of my mother?" Could've set up his involvement with his family drama, and especially since Collector is the next episode after Volpina? Where Ladybug and Chat Noir suspect that Gabriel might be Hawkmoth? The setup is right there! It'd certainly be much more interesting than watching him mope around about how much Ladybug doesn't trust him for an entire season. But no, why make Adrien involved in his own storyline, he's just there to look pretty and harass declare his love to Ladybug!

Even though it's a bit more farfetched, the conflict that could come from Lila being Volpina! Make her work on her own against Ladybug! An antagonist to the main characters AND Hawkmoth/Mayura? A new villain dynamic that we could start building and expand upon, only slightly changing the status quo for the second season. A much better option than dumb Hawkmoth repeating the same thing over and over again for 5 seasons (and the writers pretending that he's smart enough to last this long). And the pure danger of the Fox Miraculous being in Lila's hands, her ability of deception and manipulation being showcased with a Miraculous. I definitely think Lila is a better fit for the Miraculous than Alya (who we are supposed to trust and has been said to want to find out the truth... the literal opposite of the literary connotation of foxes).

Sorry, I got a bit ranty there but TL;DR, returning to the status quo in Volpina was the worst decision the writers/showrunners made and there could've been so much potential if things were different.

I didn’t think it was a bad episode, but looking back on how the story turns out, there were a lot of missed opportunities here. It honestly feels like some of the writers wanted to do more with Lila, and some wanted to focus solely on Hawkmoth as the villain for now.

Something I always thought was an interesting idea would be if Lila actually had the Fox Miraculous, so the first half of Season 2 would have a plotline about Ladybug and Cat Noir fighting to get it back before Alya becomes Rena Rouge. Because, let’s be honest, a field agent for Hawkmoth who helps Akumas out would really shake things up, and I really hated how little they did it with Mayura.

Why am I staring at his hand? Felix thought to himself as he pulled his eyes back to his phone. With his eyes on his phone, Felix found himself still thinking about the boy’s crooked smile, bright blue eyes, and blue hair. What the heck. What am I doing? What is wrong with me? Felix panicked as the boy started walking over, eyes locked on Felix. Oh, no. He saw me. Oh, shit. The boy smiled and set a napkin down next to Felix’s coffee.

Places that must exist but are never seen:

A Best Buy type of store where Alya buys equipment for her Ladyblog. Maybe Alya has ad sponsors and livestreams in her off time. Alya's premiere podcast: Finding Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/Monarch. She has a billboard in her room that marks something but its never elaborated on.

Comic book store that Alya buys Majestia products, maybe she sometimes sees Kagami there buying new volumes of manga.

A library where Alya does research when her family is being...too much. Or maybe she just scopes out the Louvre in her off time.

Based on how she's portrayed Alya is probably the smartest person on the show. The only thing holding her back from solving the entire show is that she has shipper's brain. Ladynoir and Adrinette 4ever.

YES. Honestly, I'd love to see her hanging out at all of these places! I'm betting that she and Nino would go shopping at the tech store a lot in particular, with Nino picking up music equipment, and both of them geeking out about video cameras. Alya usually uses her phone to make videos, since it's so easy and convenient and is usually fine for her needs, but she borrows Nino's equipment from time-to-time when making more scripted videos.

That comic book store idea would be a great set-up for an Alyagami fic, either platonic or romantic. Alya gets Kagami into American comics, while Kagami gets Alya into Japanese ones!

Yeah I could see Alya holing up in a library when she needs to get away for awhile. She loves her family, but the twins in particular can be a handful, and I can see her wanting some time to herself.

Tough to say whether Alya's the smartest or not. Max is definitely the person with the greatest book smarts in the show. Marinette's very clever with engineering and using objects in creative ways. Alya mostly excels in reading people. I do think she's one of the most intelligent people in Miraculous, but I don't think I could call her the most intelligent. I really want to see her getting to dig into investigating Monarch's identity, we're far enough into the show that she might be allowed to actually make progress on that.

Class of Heroes AU: Worst Deeds

Today I have a bit of a special treat for you all! As wonderful as our hero kids are, no one is perfect! Detailed below are the least virtuous deeds ever performed by our heroes, both in their personal views and objective standpoints! As always, credit to @imsparky2002 and @artzychic27! (TW: Mentions of some unpleasant things, mentions of violence)

Marilan: Marinette still feels incredible shame for the way she embarassed herself before the matchmaker, considering it a dishonor to her family. She also carries great guilt for the fact that she deceived and ran away from her family to attend the school.

Adripunzel: As much as he despises Gabriel, the man still raised Adrien, who at times, though he wouldn’t realize it, would use emotionally manipulative tactics to get his way. He always catches himself quickly though, and hates himself for it afterward. He’s working hard to curb this habit completely. He also will never get over the guilt of failing to heal Ondine when she was crushed by that pillar.

TiAlya: On a day when Alya’s mind was in a very dark place, she found herself in a shady part of town, talking to the Shadow Man about how unfair it was that other people had it so easy. She nearly made a deal with him to achieve her own dreams, but was able to refuse when she realized how disappointed her loved ones would be.

Fairy GodBro: Nino tries his best to be a good and peaceful fairy, but there are times when everyone snaps. Which was what happened when Nino became so angry with Gabriel after meeting Adrien that he placed a bad luck curse on him. He was, of course, punished for this and had to earn back his magic.

Roselle: Rose is one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted people in the world...but even she has her limits. Xavier's...persistence in pursuing her is well known, and one day, before coming to the school...Rose just had enough. She blew up at him and brutally told him off in front of the entire village, topping it off by tripping him into the muddy streambed. While what she did was completely understandable, she still feels guilty for her harsh conduct.

Julebeast: Being transformed into a beast by a dark spell is bound to have some side effects, which Juleka quickly found out as she would spiral with her dark thoughts and descend into destructive rages. But her darkest moment was when she was first cursed, when she was so consumed by fury that she legitimately considered hunting down the sorcerer and killing him for what he had done.

Maxiro: Max takes a lot of pride in the majority of his technological work...but he does have some less ethical items on his resume. When his family was especially strapped for cash, Max entered a bot-fighting circuit, and won quite a bit of money. He knew it was illegal, but he felt like it was his best option. He donated it anonymously to his mother's bank account, but the guilt still haunts him.

Kimules: Kim’s worst nightmare is to harm others and cause damage. One of the worst days of his life happened just before he was invited to the school, when, in an attempt to assist one of the shopkeepers, he managed to demolish the entire town square. This was the final straw for the citizens, who decided the ban the boy entirely.

Aladdix: Alix has always been one to hold grudges, though she acknowledges that this is a problem. She has never been able to fully forgive Chloe for her past behavior, and will still antagonize her if the mood hits her right. She carries a lot of resentment for the wealthy due to past treatment, but even she admits that she goes too far at times. Such as when she stole a family heirloom from a noble in Agrabah, though she returned it once she found that out.

QuasiIvan: Ivan is a gentle soul at heart, but he can be pushed to the breaking point over those he cares about. One such instance when he was twelve haunts him to this day. Upon seeing a soldier assault Esmeralda, he completely lost control and nearly beat the man to death before his sister was able to bring him back to his senses. Though his reasons were noble, the reality of what he almost did still terrifies him.

Snow Mylene: Mylene is gentle and kind by nature, but she is also highly protective of those she cares for, particularly her gentle harmony. She is guilty in the past of calling in some of her aggressive animal friends to 'teach a lesson' to some of his royal tormentors. She also carries a great deal of guilt for hiding from her stepmother and leaving her people to suffer under the cruel woman.

Chloéstasia: Chloe knows well that she was not the nicest person freshman year, harming most of her classmates in some way or another, and never accepting responsibility for it. Not to mention her abuse towards Zoe and of her wealth and status. She knows her behavior will follow her for a long time, but she is willing to work for forgiveness.

Sabrinocchio: Sabrina has always been looked at as a 'goody-two-shoes', a little teacher's pet who never does anything wrong. Having that kind of reputation can weigh heavily on a young child, and these feelings of stress led Sabrina to take some advice from a less than reputable source and go to a party on Pleasure Island, against her father's wishes. Thankfully, she realized when things were getting dangerous, and called for Aurore.

Sleeping Nath: Nathaniel's curse weighed heavily on him throughout his life, and one of his darkest moments came when he first learned of it from his mother at the age of eight. He was so upset and consumed by despair at feeling that he was already doomed to die that he exploded at Queen Aya and fled from the palace into the woods, where he remained throughout the night, leaving his mother to fear for his safety.

MarcElsa: Though it was an accident and no permanent damage was done, Marc is still haunted by accidentally striking Kiran with his magic as children, Su-Han being no help at all, of course. Living with these self-deprecating thoughts for years got to Marc, and one day, he was in such a dark place that he was nearly pushed to the brink, so convinced that everyone was against him, that he sincerely contemplated freezing the kingdom and running away. He stopped when he thought of how Kiran would be hurt.

CinderZoé: No matter how kind and gentle they may be, a person can only handle being abused and mistreated for so long. On a day when Zoe had been locked in her 'punishment closet' for three days, she was so furious with her mother that she grabbed a mildly poisonous and sickening herb from the woods and slipped it into her mother's tea. Audrey became violently ill and was bedridden for two days.

AriOndine: Despite knowing it was the right choice to come to the surface, Ondine still deeply regrets the way she left things with her family, never giving them a proper goodbye and likely leaving them worried sick for weeks before they learned of her whereabouts. She knows she could have at least left a letter, and the guilt of feeling she abandoned them haunts her. (She also feels pretty bad about ditching the concert and leaving her sisters hanging.)

Kagamerida: Kagami has never liked having decisions made for her, especially by her mother. So when Tomoe announced she had plans for Kagami to be betrothed to the son of a nearby clan...the princess snapped. She was so angry that she slashed the family tapestry in half and fled the castle. She ended up at a witch's cottage, and came incredibly close to using a spell on her mother to escape her arranged marriage.

Blurore: Aurore prides herself on her morally upright behavior and for doing the right thing, but there are times even she can fall off. In her younger years, after having rescued Sabrina from Stromboli's clutches, she was so incensed with the man that she used her magic on the coach's wheels, causing it to crash and leaving him devastatingly injured. She was, like Nino, punished for this and had to earn back access to her wand.

Miremba: While, despite feeling to the contrary, Mireille is not truly responsible for the death of her mother, she knows she was still wrong in avoiding the Pride Lands and confronting their uncle for as long as they did. Seeing her home left in ruins while she was absent left her with a great deal of guilt. There was also, of course, the Elephant Graveyard incident...

Jeanzco: Jean is by no means a malicious person and never means to cause harm, but his bluntness and lack of foresight can at times cause…issues. Such as when they quite abruptly fired Yzma from her position, which unleashed a hellstorm on the empire. Not to mention his, erm, spending habits as emperor, though they’re working on managing this better.

Robette: Cosette prides themselves on being able to keep a cool head in most situations, but it has its limits, like when those that she loves are uncomfortable or put at risk. On one occasion, while Cosette was trying to enjoy a date with Zoe, a paparazzo was so persistent and rude towards the blonde that the young singer snapped, ending up striking him and breaking his camera. They later issued a public apology, though their fans were sympathetic.

Demolition Denise: While the denizens of their own game know Denise is no bad guy, and have always treated them with kindness, the treatment they received outside of those safe walls has lead them to consider abandoning the game world entirely and never coming back. They ultimately stayed, not wanting to endanger their game. But then they were fired... They also have an infamous temper, which can lead to some unplanned demolition.

Simon Pan: Simon will concede that he may have gone a bit too far with cutting off Hook's hand and feeding it to a crocodile, but after an attack by the pirate on the Lost Kids left one of the children with permanently crippling injuries, he was too blinded by fury to be fully aware of what he was doing and the ramifications of it.

IsmaGenie: Though he acknowledges that he really had no choice in the matter, Ismael is still deeply affected by his time serving under less than morally sound finders. He had to grant a number of wishes that did harm to others, and the guilt from this follows him even now.

Reshmabela: Anyone who knows Reshma knows how much she loves her family, and she will go to great lengths to protect them. But there are times when she can take things a bit too far. In her hometown, there was a boy who never stopped harassing Mithra for her lack of a gift. Reshma got so fed up with his actions that she filled his room with poison oak, and was rewarded by a harsh scolding from her grandmother.

Lacey Bell: Lacey has always been headstrong and likes to do things her own way, and at times this can be to the detriment of others. When she thinks something can be done better, she will go to great lengths to prove it. Like when her attempts to speed up the Spring preparation process with her inventions ended up going haywire and destroying most of what was already done.

Creative stuff!

Daisy found Tandy out in the Playground’s corridor one day. “You good kiddo?” She asked, the dagger mistress curled up on the floor. For a moment Daisy’s heart pounded, thinking her mentee was in trouble, or sick, but the girl was simply sat thinking. Tandy shrugged. “Just a little homesick.”

Daisy sighed, a sad smile on her face as she slid down next to her. “Yeah I got you. Years ago now, I lost my boyfriend, Lincoln. I went AWOL the following months, and God if I didn’t miss this family. I was hurting, and grieving.”

Tandy looked up at her mentor. She was only eighteen, had the whole world ahead of her, and Daisy seemed to have her shit together. “There was a time I thought I’d lost Ty. During D’Spayre’s rampage, in a dream world he shot Ty, and the sound his body made hitting the ground.. I thought I’d never live again, you know?” She leaned her head against the brick wall, not minding how uncomfortable it made her.

Daisy thought about what Tandy had told her about those times, leaning into her protege and wrapping an arm around her. “I know kiddo.. When Lincoln died, I had been brainwashed by Hive just a few days earlier. It was like coming down from a drug addiction, and losing him at the same time-“

“Yeah I know all about drugs,” Tandy scoffed, and Daisy didn’t mind the interruption so much, that she’d never been told. Daisy had tried some kush when she was a teenager too, but to find out someone as young as Tandy had, it felt like horror. “Can you tell me?” She asked softly. Tandy shrugged, “What’s to tell?” Daisy smiled back, fishing a picture out of her pocket, her husband and wife hugging her in the picture.

“When Fitz, Jemma and I were first at the Academy, I went to a party without them. Got doped up on some pre-ICER type shit, knocked me out. Fitz, uh, he found me at the bottom of our dorm staircase in my jeans and bra, knocked outta my head and feared the worst.” Tandy looked up at Daisy at that, frowning. “What happened?”

“I’d dehydrated myself pretty bad, so Jemma took me to the infirmary, and had them stick a fluid IV in me, got some food down my throat and I was right as rain. Taught me a lesson in moderation though.” Daisy admitted, the picture of her in a medical gown looking very put-out with Fitz and Simmons either side of her bed. Tandy giggled softly at it. She sniffled, scooching a little closer to Daisy.

“My bio mom wasn’t the best of people. After Dad died Roxxon stole our family’s funds, and we ended up living in a trailer park. Brigid found me when I was 16, after I was almost, um-“ She gestured vaguely to her lower area, and Daisy understood in that moment, feeling ever more protective over the young lady. “Yeah, she sort of became my second mom, really. She may not have had me, but she feels that way to me. Mayhem too, if we’re counting her.” Brigid’s alter was freaky in every sense of the word, but there was no doubting she cared for Tandy.

“When Ty and I got into an argument before the Roxxon Debacle, I regressed. Huffed an entire three lines when my.. ex? Stole the money I’d saved up to run outta town.” Tandy said, running through everything in her mind. “I was cold, shivery, all sorts of screwed-up bitch. But Ty stuck it out with me even when I was going cold-turkey, and I love him for that.” She was still afraid to admit it to his face, that would make it real, and it would mean if she truly ever lost him, she’d shatter.

“That kid loves you too, you know that?” Daisy asked softly, Tandy nodding slowly as a tear trailed down her cheek. “Yeah.. that’s what terrifies me.” Daisy sat in silence with her for a few moments before Tandy tilted her head towards the older woman. “So, what’s it like? Parenting, I mean.”

Daisy laughed, ruffling Tandy’s hair. “Shit’s scary. I love Alya, but there’s always the sense I’ll screw up with her. I’m her Mama, you know, Jemma’s her Mummy, I just- Jem’s the better role model out of the both of us, I’m just a hacker who’s crossed so many lines it may as well be a black and white blur.”

“And a superhero,” Tandy reminded her, “That’s gotta make you ten times cooler to her,” She told her mentor, Daisy glowing with pride. “You think so?”

“I know so. If I’d have had you out there when I was a kid, I think I would’ve held myself to your standards too. And for what it’s worth, I think you’re a great mom. Little Ali takes after you a lot, even in the May Stare.” Daisy was particularly proud of being able to emulate her mother’s famous glare now, it seemed to make her so much more formidable, and heaven help anyone who crossed the Fitzsimmons-Coulson family.

“Thanks T. Come on, sparring’s in ten, and Mom will kick our asses if we’re late.” Tandy yelped as she was pulled upwards, her daggers of light already flowing down her veins and into her hands as she ran towards the gym at Daisy’s heels. “Last one there cleans the bunks for a month!” She betted, and Daisy crowed. “Oh, it’s on kiddo!”

Her being is similar to that of an angel, Sebastian tried to discretely kill her multiple times

Now uses Ciel and literally anyone else as a shield

Thankfully after proving to be useful enough, Ciel decided to keep her so he ordered Sebastian to stop his assassination attempts

The fiend is bitter about it

Sarah clings once more, she dotes on poor Ciel

He got mad

So she clings to Alois once he finally pops up

Mad that people keep trying to kill her, so she just pwns them and leaves
