Holy crap, I have the most amazing friends. This just came in the mail (well, I had to pick it up at the post office if you want to get technical). I opened it, not knowing what to expect*, and started crying immediately. I am in complete disbelief. Like, it’s personalized and everything! Omg. So I’m crying and grinning like an idiot. Lol. Thank you so much, friend!

*after I opened it I noticed that the customs slip said what it was. I was too excited to open it and see what it was and didn’t even see that. 😂

Recently life hasn't been life-ing, and when I'm having a rough day what makes it a little better is when I see the people on YouTube/ticktock/literally any social media platform just being there selves, it makes my day. It truly amazes me to see people having the courage to be them selves and not care about what anyone thinks. I hope that someday I can have as much confidence as they do❤️. JFC. I know a girl who is barely 35yrs old, and today during a meeting I asked her what she majored in ….. and she has a medical forensics degree, an MBA, a degree in education , and she is currently working on her dissertation for her phd in another field …. AND..! she has her own (profitable) business, and is a single mom with two young kids, and she’s super nice and really pretty too

It’s funny because there’s someone I follow on tumblrdotcom who I’ve been crushing on since forever, who’s also really smart and articulate and compassionate and drop dead gorgeous (but doesn’t think she is?), who used to post a ton of selfies and I was going to anonymously ask her why she doesn’t post selfies lately, but yeah that sounds kinda creepy + might be a “none of my business” situation

Anyway, I kinda feel like it’s a tiny little bit unfair that some people get awarded like ALL the points for intelligence + looks + beauty, and I’m just some average looking dude pretty much skruggling to get through my day not even accomplishing a fraction of what they are (wah)

But on the other hand, it’s really nice to see/know that people like that dO exist and aren’t just fictional characters, and even better if you’re fortunate enough to actually know them irl (or online)
