Distant family

Danny didn't quite know how to feel when his mother asked him if he wanted to go visit his aunt for a few days. He assumed it was his Aunt Alicia but apparently not, which didn't leave him with much of a choice as to who it might be. He wondered if it was safe to leave Amity for so long.

Later, his mother rectified herself by saying she was more of a distant aunt of sorts, which didn't help the halfa's confusion in the least but he ended up agreeing to it. Mainly because Jazz asked him to take a vacation.

That's how he found out his aunt was Wonder Woman, because sure, why not, Aunt Diana seemed to be just as curious about his existence but didn't tie him up in her shiny golden bow so Danny considered it a win.

Apparently his grandmother was an Amazon that left Themyscira after falling in love. His mom had met Diana when she was separated from her homeland as a sort of united group of exiled Amazons.

Danny wondered what that meant for Jazz's future, at least he had a story to tell Pandora, she would be proud of his origins...probably.

The amount of posts/fanart/memes I've already seen surrounding Cooper and Hancock only proves to me that Hancock NEEDS to make a cameo in a later season. Somehow. I need them to get in a knife fight. I need them to get up in each other's faces and kiss intimidate each other.

Cooper's look was originally supposed to have black eyes and have scars identical to the Fallout 4 design, but the idea was ultimately scrapped. Boy oh boy, who else has black eyes and- HANCOCK. Hancock does. HE looks like that. This was clearly a sign from the universe.

I think Velvette is a neat character, so this is my take on her. I hope I did okay, please let me know ♥️

Velvette loves to take selfies with you and record random videos where you’re goofing off. She has a collection of photos and videos specifically for her close friends. When she’s upset or bored, she’ll binge watch/scroll through the entire album.

She brings you out for coffee when you’re free. Coffee shops are one of her favorite places and she will recommend you her favorite drinks. Selfies are a must for these coffee dates as well. She will drag you out at midnight when she’s craving coffee too.

You are invited to every fashion show Velvette runs. She has a seat reserved for you and she’ll let you explore the backrooms if the show isn’t as busy. She is a little upset when you can’t come, but the seat is always open if you want to come by later.

Sinners sometimes give you trouble about your close relationship with Velvette. As you were out on the streets with her, a Sinner began yelling at you. You were going to ignore them, but she had other plans. She uses her power as an Overlord and incapacitates them. Velvette doesn’t take shit from anyone who dares to mess with her loved ones.

She takes pictures of you when you’re not paying attention. She’ll add emojis to the photo and caption it. She doesn’t post them to any platforms, but has an album collection of them. Velvette isn’t above uploading one of them when it’s your birthday, though.

You’re one of the few people who Velvette lets style her hair. It’s a rare occurrence, but you’re grateful when it happens. When you’re done with her hair, she will constructively criticize your styling skills.

Velvette’s love language is gift giving. You will off handedly mention an item you liked at the store you went with her. Months later, she gifts you that item, much to your surprise. She wraps the presents with your favorite colors and decorates them with cute ribbons too.

Imagine this chain of events:

1) “One Piece” live action is a massive success. Apparently, it broke a lot of Netflix records and outperformed “Stranger Things” and “Wednesday”.

2) A few months later, Netflix’s live action “Avatar the Last Airbender” also turns out to be a success. (For the sake of this post, ATLA’s success is more of an add-on rather than a requirement).

3) HBO sees Netflix’s success and immediately looks for anime shows to adapt. They quickly adopt Netflix’s strategy for “One Piece” in that they’re gonna bring in the original author as an executive producer. To compete with Netflix, they pick “Bleach” and “Hellsing” mainly because those shows are dark, which fits HBO’s style.

4) Simultaneously, Amazon does the same thing as HBO and Netflix. They pick “Naruto” and “Fullmetal Alchemist” as their shows.

5) Last but not least, Disney Plus gets in on the craze. Since they’re family friendly, they go with “Sailor Moon” and “Dragonball Z” (obviously, Disney already has experience with action-adventure franchises with super-powered people).

The end result: Because of Netflix breaking the anime-to-live action curse with “One Piece”, they cause a butterfly effect that ushers the return of the era of 2000s anime.

I like how even thought Mr. Dalrymple is doing a good thing by trying to save lives he’s still an absolute cunt to Elspeth. Her friend is dead but sure, rip her off and make a jab about blood money. It really drives home the point about the grey areas of morality.
