Unpopular opinion:
SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN’T READ DEMON ROAD 3
If they were going to kill off one character, Kelly should have died instead of Milo. I hated Milo initially but grew to love him, and then you kill him off? Whereas Kelly I was like “meh” and never truly loved her lol.
You hated Milo initially?? Omg I'm so interested to know why, I've never heard of anyone hating him.
I 100% agree with this opinion, although I think I've made that very clear through my constant complaining on this blog lol. The tragedy of Milo's death is that that he died right after finally finding people (or a person if you dont count his relationship with glen as a friendship) that he genuinely cared about, and he was just beginning to find meaning again in life and let go of his past properly. He was killed off right as his character arc was finishing, and I think that's what makes me never able to move on from his death even though it's just a YA fantasy book from 7 years ago, because he never truly got to a place of contentment and yet he was so close to reaching it. Also, the fact that there were so many loose ends (like his past) that were never tied up make his death feel so brutal and frustrating. Him being shot is such a quick, boring and detached death for him, and from such a minor character, that it just adds insult to injury. Throughout the series, characters were beheaded, eaten alive, ripped apart, killed by magical potions, torn apart by chainsaws, and then milo's death is just so simple and casual for such a main character that it feels even more abrupt and disturbing. He was a complex, morally grey character that made mistakes, but he was trying to make up for his past killings, and the fact that he was murdered despite all of his efforts to change just feels so unfair for that reason. I probably wouldn't be saying that if he'd killed my family though.
KELLY on the other hand is such a shallow character in comparison. Her only personality traits are cool quips, being a redhead, being fit and hot, seducing 16 year olds and having tattoos. Oh, and the constant reminders that shes one of the 'good guys'. In reality, her and amber knew each other for 3 days, and in this short time period they already showed fundamental, clashing differences in personality and views on the world (prime example is kelly slapping amber over a moral disagreement). Kelly had this naive, black and white view about good and evil and wanted to fight the good fight, while amber was a kid who had been dragged into this world and was just trying to survive. That paired with their ages and power dynamic (amber constantly idolised kelly), I just know that in reality, they would have broken up so soon after milos death, leaving amber alone with glen as her only companion. Kelly would never be able to actually replace milo as she did in AM ending scene, and I'd actually imagine it's more likely that amber would end up alone, bitter and regretful (kinda like milo at the beginning of the series).
And that concludes my ramblings on why milo's death was so bad, and why Kelly should 100% have died instead, both for reader satisfaction and for Amber's wellbeing. Also, kelly and glen would never get along, she'd definitely think she was too cool for him.

I like to think that Amber would get tattoos for the people she’s lost, specifically Imelda and Milo, but i’m having trouble thinking of which ones. Ngl I can see cowboy boots for Milo but Imelda’s is trickier

Outside of my hc that Amber learns how to skateboard (with the help of Glen), I think she’d also be big into dance rhythm games à la DDR. Like I can definitely picture her just going to her local arcade and just fucking it up in the afternoon on Fridays after school.

The Suspect (1944)
"Don't you think that an innocent man might be more tolerant in the cause of justice?"
"No, I don't. I think an innocent man might behave precisely as I have."
"Well, I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you."
"Why don't you arrest me? Here I am."
"I'd like to, believe me, but unfortunately I can't."
"No, you've run against a blank wall. You take my advice and don't beat your head against it."

*Throat clear* Hello...This might be important for you.
So you can share this post as much as you want, because it is not going to end up on my official side, after all this is an update side and this will be used as one. I might be unable to do EVERY single one, but I decided to open (Inofficially) requests again for like a week. It starts today the 14th of december and it ends on the 22nd of december. I only let christmas oneshots count. They can end SPICY, but not too smutty. (Yes I said it. writing it smutty with everything else that might be build in, it would take me weeks to finish) AND! There is a LIST of what I am writing about.
Characters:
William Afton (Game/Movie Universe, which then also might include the Afton children. Game version: Michael, Evan/CC, Elizabeth Movie: Vanessa) Stu Macher (Scream) Loki (Marvel) Headless Horseman (1999 Sleepy Hollow) Skulduggery Pleasant (with Erskin Hollow, Keiran Fox, Ciar or Corrupted, I am doing the dead men there too, so it doesn't have to be the skeleton. If you want alive!Skulduggery with Erskin Hollow celebrate Christmas, write (Past) and I will know) Demon Road (Amber Lamont and Milo Sebastian) Ninjago (Morro, Garmadon, Wu and the Ninja)
The Oneshots can be:
Fluffy Angsty Spicey
The shots CAN'T be:
Smut (Because it would take me centuries to finish, I have little time on my hands and my sleeping shedule is all over the place)
The shots CAN have:
Reader input (SP already has that but I wanted to let you know that I will do Reader input of you tell me to. Erskin Hollow, Keiran Fox and Corrupted are all M/n in SP, with different taken names, because of the different AU's I am making. One is adopted by SP and sees the Dead Men as Siblings, the other got adopted by Anton and sees the others as Uncles and Skulduggery is alive with his children, just like Hopeless and Larrikin and Corrupted was adopted into the Edgley Family, so he is Valkyrie's Brother. Ciar is also M/n and that name is used for romantic Dead Men Oneshots. So no one can yell that I am doing incest or some shit, and no one gets confused, I use different names.)
The shots CAN'T have:
Fucked up shit. (Incest, underage spicey scenerios, Etc.)
Genders:
Female!Reader Male!Reader Gen!Reader Genderbent!Character (You can make them a female from male, but still no smut !)
THEME !:
Christmas/Winter (Anything else will NOT be written. I am doing Christmas and winter related stuff, NOT smut, no summer themes and stuff. WINTER/CHRISTMAS THEME!!!)
How far can spicey go ?:
A bit of dirty talk, flirting, heated make out session and that is it. I will stop at the characters, taking off their clothes. :P
Deadline:
22nd of December 2023 will be the end of requests, starting from today the 14th of December 2023.
Where can you request them:
@skulduggery-pleasant-bp9
@update-blog-bp9
@blackypanther9
Have fun requesting. And remember the rules guys ! I mean it ! I am dead serious ! I have very little time, but I want to do something small at least for yall, for this month. So use this knowledge wisely !!!
Requests for Anon is also having green light now. On all the three blogs.
I'm tagging those who miss some Marvel, because now is your chance !!!
@innerpiratefun @gayhopefullove @natashaxmarvelmen @buffymore @lovefanfiction01
Go crazy, but not too crazy, yeah ? *Cough, cough* I hope it shows you that I tagged yall...

Been thinking about things I first experienced in books that're now kinks for me.
Did Amber Lamont eating her parents and their friends affect my development of a cannibalism kink in any way? Did Hester Shaw and Shrike's relationship alter my view of robot conversion erotica? Did reading Hisako Onoda's cathartic revenge for her rape change the course of my sexuality?
Honestly I'm unsure. I had a rather late puberty, and while my memory is spotty of my entire time in school, I'm pretty sure I read all these examples before I even started masturbating or anything. My reading habits are sure to have had at least some effect I guess. I did find my way to dolcett comics rather quickly after starting to look at porn, though that's not quite the same form of cannibalism as goring someone's heart out.

About Singin’ in the Rain Jr. The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award-winning screenplay in Singin' in the Rain JR. Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards make Singin' in the Rain JR. a guaranteed good time for performers and audience members alike. Singin' in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline — the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. About the Acorn Theatre Acorn Theatre is Live Oak’s Youth Theatre program for students ages 8-18.   This performance class meets to rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00- 6:30. The class will run in 8-week periods with 6 performances at the end of each term.  The Acorn Theatre works together to produce and perform 3 shows each year as well as participate in Brooksville’s annual Tree Lighting.  The Acorn Theatre production team consists of rotating Directors/Instructors who are assisted by a team of apprentices in the areas of Stage Manager, Assistant Director, costumes, choreography, lighting, sound, music and set design.  Parent volunteers are always welcomed in these areas as well.  Acorn Theatre apprentices are chosen from regular performers of Live Oak who have “grown up” on our stage.  They assume leadership roles in the production and mentor the students of the Youth Theatre.   About Live Oak Theatre Company (LOT), Live Oak Theatre Company (LOT) is a not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) repertory company of local artists, located at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601.  The Live Oak Theatre Company exists to enrich families, individuals, and the community by providing positive artistic experiences in the Performing Arts - including excellent, affordable, and edifying family friendly entertainment, performance, and educational opportunities for Theatre patrons and participants of all ages.  For more information about the Live Oak Theatre Company, including sponsorship and audition opportunities, go to www.LiveOakTheatre.org, email [email protected] , or call 352-593-0027.   Visit us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LiveOakTheatre. I’ve been watching Disenchantment (an animated Netflix series) and I’ve noticed character similarities to Demon Road. Amber is Bean, Milo is Luci, Glen is Elfo, Kelly is the mermaid love interest (Mona?).
