There was a light chuckle against the back of his throat when you'd splayed yourself across his lap. You nuzzled your face into the fabric of his sweater and swept one arm around his back just to make sure that you could breathe in the scent of his spring bloom.

He knew you wouldn't be moving unless he nudged you away, but he wouldn't do something like that when he wanted your company just as much as your heart yearned for him. Breathless, you didn't wait for him to say anything. You just closed your eyes and relaxed all of your aching muscles so that you could be safe with him.

"Relax, my love," he murmured.

You already were... but his gentle voice rumbled deeply in his chest and reminded you that you were okay. You didn't have to be afraid of a single thing... he would be there for you and protect you from your nightmares if they arose.

"I love you," you murmured.

He would be smiling when you said that, and you didn't have to look at him to know that. His fingers curled in your hair and smoothed out the tresses of your messy curls that had shifted against your face as you laid against him. "Sleep well, darling. I'll be here waiting for you as soon as you're ready to wake up... and I'll be waiting in your dreams, too."

As of right now? No, probably not. But that’s only because I haven’t played Mysme in a very long time so it’s the last thing on my mind right now

But since I tend to hop fandoms and get hyperfixated on something new every couple weeks. I’m sure that eventually I’ll play through my favorite routes again, so hopefully then I’ll feel motivated enough to come back and do more asks for ASAS ❤️

Oh, God. Don't do this to me. This is just sounding like his reasoning for leaving you and Ray. In his apology, he says that he's going to do his best to save you and Ray from this space... and then he thinks it would be best if he stepped out of the light for a while and left to try and make sense of what it means to be alive. He doesn't want to go since he just realized he likes you... but he knows it's better to give you space and learn how to be a better person.
