the main takeaways i have are simple

friends arent a hivemind. not all of your friends think the same, theyre allowed to leave you for reasons others wont. thats how life works. you dont blame anyone, you get over it, done. if your remaining friends are like a hivemind, though, that is absolutely unhealthy in so many fuckin ways that feel obvious

the other thing is people are allowed to not accept your apologies, and you have to accept that too. you cant guilt somebody to accept your apology, you cant guilt someone to convince them theyre stupid to not accept your apology. that entirely takes back you apologizing to them. dont switch up on people, shut up and think before you speak, especially if youre apologizing for something
