stan and craig having a late breakfast in some no-name diner outside denver and chucking bits of fried onion and potato at each other after the third time craig refuses to pass the salt shaker. they make a quick escape before being thrown out by the waitresses entirely and clamber into stan’s beat up chevy that takes forever to start parked outside. stan tries very hard to focus on turning on the radio and ignoring craig’s lips on his neck, murmuring something that sounds like an apology but probably isn’t anything close. he doesn’t succeed.
