Today I:

Worked 7.5 hours

Accidentally pushed my code updates to the master branch on my project for work (pro tip: don't do that - switch branches!)

Learned some new stuff about git

Learned about the Shopify API

Went for a nice, long bike ride

Showered (yes, let's fight that depression!)

Hello lovely people!

Recently I've run into some fairly time-consuming issues while working. One of which involved CSS... which I have a love/hate relationship with. I'm sure many of you are on the same page. Just when I think I've become really proficient with it, I run into something like I did earlier, haha.

The thought of starting a YouTube channel or blog has been weighing on me lately. I doubt I will go the YouTube route because, well, I have nothing interesting to talk about. But I was considering maybe posting on here about some of the different issues I run into, how I fix them, tips and tricks, and resources that I use.

Would anyone out there be interested in seeing that content from me? I know what I post probably won't be applicable to many, but it would be super cool if it could at least one person! 🙂

In case I do decide to start posting that type of content, I'd love to hear what you guys find yourself struggling with or what you might like to know more about!

Anyway, it's past 1:30 AM and I'm damn near falling asleep typing this, so that's it for now! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this beautiful fall weather! That's right, get out from behind your screens and go outside for a bit to enjoy the spooky season weather! 😘

Side note:

I know I really haven't been active lately... keeping up with posting about my 100 days of productivity was a bit of a bust 😅 Forgive me, please! But I have been productive! Honestly I have worked every day for the last several weeks. I'm pooped! I'm not sure yet if I will continue posting updates about the 100 days of productivity, but I would really like to try to be more active and post some original content as well.

Today I:

Submitted pull requests to all three of our repositories

Did NOT push to the master branch

Worked 12 hours

Ran into a bazillion bugs and errors

Went for a walk

Drank lots of water!

I did get a lot done yesterday, too, I just didn't get the chance to post.

Oh boy.

My husband (27 yo) is about to start his first semester of college tomorrow. He will be getting out of the military soon and he's chosen this path. I'm somewhat surprised considering he hates school.

Any tips or advice I should pass along to him?

Edited to add: I am super, duper proud of him for taking this step! I think it’s going to be really good for him and for his future, and I’m willing to do whatever I can to help him <3

OH! Before I go to sleep... I also wanted to mention that I'd like to find some new hobbies. I have like... none. I'll get into that in another post at another time perhaps, if I feel like getting personal. Just too sleepy right now.
