At this point, I'm utterly convinced that Vivziepop played Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and based Sir Pentious off Oswald Mandus.

Intellectual inventor with (possible) autism who lived in 19th century London and had an obsession with eggs?

It basically writes itself.

Oswald even referred to himself as a "snake" at one point in the game. And let's not forget that Angel Dust referred to him as "Daddy" in the pilot -- much like one of Oswald's children would. And Sir Pentious reacted as such.
