taking a page out of cara's book and sharing a little about my good minotaur boy now that he's second level!! (art by my beloved @amserpand)

kodros, 19, never fuckin learned how to read (jk he has the second-highest int in the party)

he's a squishy, squishy rogue who's following the goddess of poisons and got to envenom his first enemy during our boat fight

has a ~mysterious quest~ and his ~own motives~ for this adventure (that may get a little light shed on it when he meets his god in a dream next session ???)

mostly though he's a sort of angsty teen/baby of the party who's doing his best to be helpful on the boat and make friends and get to drive the cool submarine we found

Tell me Everything about Scouting for Demons

Hi Wasp! I didn’t forget about you I just had to go eat dinner and put kids to bed and stuff.

Scouting For Demons is supposed to be a Cartoon Network Style show (a la Gravity Falls) where Warlock is sent to live with his Uncle Ezra far out in the English countryside for the summer. He’s all set for it to be super boring (especially when he realizes Uncle Ezra’s house doesn’t even have WiFi), but he meets Adam and the Them and and instantly gets sucked into their shenanigans. 

The Them is looking for a new thing to do when Warlock suggests trying to summon a demon, and maybe Uncle Ezra has a book about it in that weird library of his. Little do they know, Uncle Ezra actually knows a thing or two about summoning demons and they end up with a real, live demon on their hands. 

Chapter 1 was written for the Good Omens Mini Bang and can be found here, along with some absolutely fantastic art by @amserpand . Chapter 2 of this two-part, extra-long pilot episode is . . . forthcoming. Eventually. As soon as I can hold myself upside down by the ankles and shake the words out. I promise that I’m extremely committed to finishing this WIP, I just cannot get my brain to make the words go.

I got to do art for a game yall! And there's only a few days left for funding and a few hundred dollars left to go!!!! AAAAAA

GUN IT is a board game about:

the sprawling plot of a decades long action thriller franchise

planning the perfect rube goldberg sequence for maximum vehicular destruction

planning exactly half of the perfect rube goldberg sequence except the timer ran out before you could get everything arranged

things still explode anyway, in the wrong order, its chaos

and also by "planning" i mean arguing with your friends and reaching across the table to yank a card out of their hand and throwing yours at them because trade me damn it

accidentally still managing to aim a gun inside the car youre all in, oops

oh fuck we figured it out and destroyed half the enemy vehicles in one round

we're never going to be able to do that again

tumblr, since you're my favorite, you get the only in progress pic i remembered to take of the carving for this piece :)

this block is 2.5"x2.5" unmounted linoleum, printed with an ink pad on mostly regular neon copy paper. like most of my single color pieces, i sketched straight into the block with sharpies/fineliners, tinted it with a stamp pad, and got right to carving! i'm still getting used to the power grip cutters over the speedball ones--theyre sharper but also since the blade is Not just a bent sheet of metal i've been struggling a bit cutting at the right angles. curves are giving me some trouble! but they also cut a lot easier and are better to hold, so it's worth it to get used to them.

i've been accumulating carved blocks, taking casual little prints to conventions and zinefests to trade! so a few people out there in the world have got my first lino prints in distribution.

when i get a chance, i'll do a proper print run, and add them to a shop (which doesn't currently exist but will!)

and, dont tell anyone, but i have a two color print in the works! that one's taking some more planning though.
