Werewolves designs and other shit
Got bored- Remembered I have free choice to make posts on anything I want... So here I am with opinions no one asked for. As the title suggests, it's about werewolves. Starting off, I don't believe I need to explain what a werewolf is. However, I'll put it out there that in most descriptions and depictions it's meant to be a humanoid wolf. I say this because you'll find that in some movies or books it's just a person turning into a giant wolf with no human features or movement such as standing on two legs. (Or like a minotaur situation where the body is a human, but the head is a wolf.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here I've collected just human references and anatomy- This is so I can make comparisons and such. Humans vary heavily in the way that we look, due to things such as lifestyle and genetics. At base level, of course we're HUMAN. However, things like our body types, hair texture, eye colour or shape and yada yada all can change the way we look and create differences between us and somebody else.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the same for wolves, though maybe not as noticeable compared to humans? Mostly things like their size, coat colour or thickness and etc is what separates them from one another. Looking at their head shapes also can show what species they may be. Generally, they're a pretty lean animal seeing as wolves are known for their running endurance to hunt prey. Being too big would slow them down... I mention this because some depictions of werewolves people make them too muscular in my opinion? It's like they're hairy body builders. Speaking of werewolves- Let me try draw this post back to where I started it! First I wanna look at almost shifted werewolves, so not fully transformed.
Tumblr media
(Also I will be using depictions and characters which aren't labelled necessarily as a ''werewolf'' but share many features or similarities. For example, Bigby from The Wolf Among Us.) The common things we usually see is an increase in hairiness, canine growth and eyes becoming highlighted- Usually yellow, though sometimes the werewolf maintains their natural eye colour. We also have ears becoming pointed and the area around the eyebrows and forehead starting to protrude more. All of these things when done right I enjoy in a werewolf design! Though, it's a given that some do it better than others... One of my favourite werewolf designs and transformations has to go to the movie An American Werewolf In London.
Tumblr media
This to me is one of the PEAKS of werewolves in media. I could probably make a full post on just this movie... It's one of the most iconic designs and for good reason. Not to mention, I love practical effects, especially in horror. One of my dreams is to make a movie with them. Enough gushing though. What do I like? Well, it's grotesque nature really. A transformation shouldn't just be BAM you're a ball of fur in my eyes. The amount of change is crazy and so glossed over.
Tumblr media
The transformation literally has bones extending along with all the muscles and tissues alongside. Don't even get me started on what the organs may have to be doing? A human heart could not support a werewolf body, it just wouldn't be big enough... That muscle would literally have to increase in size to be able to deal with the power behind the body of a wolf. Yes, I'm aware they're supernatural and I shouldn't try heavily to apply science to them... However, I don't care? A TRANSFORMATION WOULD BE HORRFIC AND PAINFUL, SO IT SHOULD BE SHOWN AS SUCH! It's also why I headcanon that turned werewolves have the chance of just dying straight up with their first transformation, compared to ones just born as a werewolf because of how extreme the change is. Anyway! Some more designs.
Tumblr media
I think what some suffer from, is leaning either too close to a human and or leaning too close to a wolf? They can't find a balance and at times it's like a worse rendition of the Cats movie.
Tumblr media
Like here, the werewolves from The Quarry almost lean into some classic vampire depictions. The teeth I like! But the lack of hair and flatter snout just means it's not really screaming WEREWOLF at me.. More so a general mutant. (QUICK ADD! A flatter snout doesn't always break a design. It's just when other features such as hair are also lacking that it starts becoming less wolf in nature to me.) We've also got a more recent werewolf to look at... Which is Enid from the Wednesday show. Because fucking hell, that was a disappointment? She ended up looking like a mix between the Ice Age baby and Diego the saber tooth tiger.
Tumblr media
They did her so fucking dirty... And it would actually be very simple to fix! This could be salvaged- It just wasn't. Somebody saw that design and green lit it and whoever you are, why? I think I'll end this here now because I've reached the image limit... If anyone has any questions about certain things I've mentioned, feel free. I also want to state that this is pure opinion and by no means supposed to spread hate towards anything? It's your world, if you wanna draw your werewolves like the Sims 4, who am I to stop you? THIS IS MAL OUT! AND IF YOU'VE READ ALL OF THIS YOU'RE SOMEHOW MORE UNHINGED THAN I AM CURRENTLY. (I MAY MAKE A PT 2 AS I DO HAVE MORE THOUGHTS AND MENTIONS TO MAKE.)

Does Ghostbusters count? I mean, it is one of my favorites to watch during the spooky season.
*laughs* Just kidding. Favorite horror movie…let’s see…I’m a fan of the classic horror movies, ya know? Psycho, An American Werewolf in London, and The Shining are definitely my go-to movies during the spooky season.

I have been thinking about how An American Werewolf in London could fit into Dead by Daylight so I guess I will actually write some of it down now
Werewolf killer. We all have been asking for one for ages, so it would be a great opportunity to actually add one.
Werewolf would walk on all four legs, like in the film - not that I'd trust BHVR to be able to animate that well, but we can dream.
Low POV - like, old Blight POV level, maybe a crouching mechanic for sneaking through the map and the power would be mobility based. Similar to Demogorgans shred mechanic since we can no longer buy Demo, I don't see the issue in reusing some of those major aspects. Maybe some kind of fast dash but you can't attack on the first dash - like Blight's Lethal Rush. You dash and THEN have to actively pounce onto a survivor like a shredding attack, but you can also use the dashes for map traversal. When in dash your POV will be higher.
Killer legendary skin: the American Werewolf in Paris version, assuming it would be either included in the license or easily acquired because honestly who has actually seen that movie
Killer perks: ???
SURVIVORS: David as the main survivor, with either Jack as a second survivor or 2 legendary skins - 1 normal, and one of his undead self.
Survivor perks: ???
MAP: The Moors. Slaughtered Lamb is the main building and the rest is similar terrain to McMillan maps (I dont care if swamp would make more sense in comparison, don't give me more swamp maps, I do not want more swamp maps).

Wednesday and Enid are watching An American Werewolf In London.
Enid: So, as far as I know, if I kill someone that person is not going to end up in limbo as a ghost haunting me.
Wednesday: Unfortunate. It had an amusing ring to it.
[beat]
Enid: You were thinking about me killing you and your ghost-ass-self haunting me for all eternity, didn’t you?
Wednesday: [smiles]
(My headcanon is that Enid can't stand horror movies... except werewolf movies, which to her are comedy gold for the amount of stuff they get wrong.)

Hi, Tonic! ✈️ and 💞 for the Sam Wilson ask game please!
Sam Wilson Headcanon Asks
✈️ Sam finally has time to go on vacation! Where does he go and who does he take with him?
So, he would sometimes rant to bucky about all the exciting places he could go to, all the activities he could do. And he's saying all this while they're literally in space playing with aliens and there's some kind of irony there.
But what actually happened was that Sam and Joaquin were in the UK for work and end up just spending a couple of days in the lake district. ("This is where they get got in an American werewolf in london" - "I don't know what that is.") It's all rolling hills and nature and gorgeous landscapes. They fly through the glacial valleys. Its just a day or two of isolation and calm, and it's a great vacation.
💞 Sam has had a rough day. What does he do to cheer himself up?
I think at first, what he does doesn't help. He gets back from a bust of a mission at 3. Immediately starts working out. Feels worse. Goes for a run. Feels too tired to feel bad. Hot shower, vents about it to figaro who doesn't have any advice.
By then it's 9 and he hasn't eaten in hours. He makes ramen, but fancy ramen, with extra veg and an egg. The chopping is therapeutic. "Welcome to pimp my ramen with your host..." He spends a minute trying to think of a noodle related pun for xzibit. He wonders if they still make that show.
But he actually puts on predator to watch during dinner because nostalgia. He nods off before it ends, asleep on the sofa with figaro on his lap. He wakes up at 3 in the morning and his back hurts, but he's in a better mood when he finally goes to his actual bed.

some modern AU headcanon stuff
Grantaire, Musichetta & Jehan have movie nights and watch shows together.
when R chooses the film, it's usually 80s horror. He loves the old special effects from The Thing, the Evil Dead films (also likes the comedy elements of Evil Dead II), Scanners and American Werewolf in London. He also likes the Bill & Ted franchise, The Lost Boys and What We Do In The Shadows (both film and series)
Chetta loves science fiction. Some favourites include Alien, Aliens, and Metropolis. Alsoo the Truman Show idk what genre that is. She's a big fan of Doctor Who, particularly episodes/serials that explore interesting concepts, like Genesis of the Daleks, Fathers Day, The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, Waters of Mars, The God Complex, and Under The Lake/Before The Flood. To make up for my inability to think of films, she also loves sci-fi books, such as the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Day of the Triffids and War of the Worlds.
Jehan loves fantasy, especially darker films, such as Pan's Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal and Coraline. Alsooo the Labyrinth and the BBC's Merlin series because of course. of course they love Merlin, are you kidding me?? and Ghosts, Our Flag Means Death, and Good Omens. Also Magical Mystery Tour. the spaghetti dream sequence is wonderfully horrifying and Blue Jay Way has this weird haunting energy like,, I could talk abt this film so muchhh aghhghggghhghgh (inevitable mention of the Beatles)
theres definitely more stuff i just cant think of anything atm

Since the last Anon asked about your Julie headcanons... May I ask about your headcanons for frank, he's my favorite out of the group. I mainly wanna know more about his appearance and voice (general stuff mostly). You can add anything else that comes to mind, the more hcs the better lol.
Also! If you had to assign a type of horror subgenre and trope to the legion members, what would you pick and why?
((My dear son Frank... For this blog his appearance is blond with shitty spiky hair. I think him having a buzz or growing it out like the comics is pretty nice too, but I like imagining him with the like shitty spiky crunchy bleached blond 90s punk hair. since he plays basketball he's probably decently tall. I think the male Legion voice in the game tracks to him pretty well! If I had to pick a musician I might say like the lead singer of Screeching Weasel lol. Just because I think it's cute to imagine Frank and Julie singing
I usually draw him with quite a few scars from scuffles and other stuff I won't describe for the purposes of not being upsetting on tha blog. I also imagine that he wears a lot of mismatched and randomly sized clothes since a lot of his wardrobe comes from shoplifting. Also since this blog's Frank is trans I do imagine he was self-medicating outside the Entity. In my vision world the Entity provides automatic transitions because I think that's funny. (But also realistically because the Entity can utilize it as a tool of control/temptation to stay inside the Entity instead of trying to escape).
As for horror genres - they would all be into slashers obviously but I think Frank would be a real classic slasher guy. Psycho, Halloween, Scream, etc. Though I think he'd have a secret love for ghost movies too. Julie would obviously also love slashers but I think she'd also like artsy psychological stuff - she's a true crime girl, a serial killer enthusiast. I think she'd really enjoy dissecting the motivations and trying to put together the mystery of whodunnits but would also enjoy getting in the heads of villains. Joey I see as being more into the psychological horror as well but more Conceptual horror. I've always imagined Jacob's Ladder as a favorite. Susie I see as being into more supernatural/fantastical stuff, like monster movies. American Werewolf in London girl.))

A question for both you personally and as a headcanon.
1.) Do you enjoy watching/consuming horror media? If so, what's your favorite subgenre/specific work? Do you choose your favorite based on how interesting it is or how much it freaks you out? Is there a movie/subgenre that scared the piss out of you (but not in a good way) and you'll never interact with again?
2.) How about our boys? What's their favorite subgenre of horror? Is there a movie/type that really scares them in a good way? What about in a bad way?
Ooh, I love in depth questions like these!
1.) I love horror films. I grew up watching a lot of Universal monster films with my dad and developed an insatiable interest in horror as a result. In general, I tend to not like excessively gory films, though I make exceptions. My favorites tend to lean more towards interpersonal relationships or psychological horror. I basically like horror films that can make me FEEL, whether it's dread, grief, etc. Horror is an interesting genre because it delves in the negative, and explores ideas of overcoming an incredible, seemingly impossible force of nature. And sometimes, when you fight your inner beast, your inner beast wins--whether that means the monster winning, society falling apart, cruelty overpowering forgiveness, etc. Horror can be fun and trashy. But it can also explore uncomfortable concepts we're more than often too afraid to really admit to ourselves.
My favorites include Carrie (1976), Midsommar, Alien, The Thing, The Blair Witch Project, Halloween, The Descent, An American Werewolf in London, Psycho, and Hereditary, to name a few.
I absolutely HATE jumpscares, unless they only occur once or twice in the film and actually add to the suspense of the scene. One well-executed jumpscare is fine. But I can't stand all these possession/haunted house films that spam them over and over and over again. I'm honestly not much of a fan of ghost/demon horror films in general. Not unless they REALLY push the envelope. Stuff like Saw where there's just gratuitous suffering for the sake of titillation is often a drag for me as well.
That said, I don't actually get scared in horror films. I get startled, and occasionally anxious, but never piss my pants terrified. The only film I can think of with that effect on me was Threads, and that's not really a horror film so much as a disturbing drama about nuclear war. Great film, but not really in the same genre.
2.) As for our boys, I'd think that Sephiroth would probably prefer psychological thrillers, Angeal for doofy popcorn monster films, and Genesis for classic slashers so he has an excuse to hog the popcorn and yell at the screen.
Sephiroth obviously is a stone wall that isn't ever unsettled by anything, but Genesis is a big scared baby and is constantly hiding, even though he's a courageous warrior on the battlefield. He doesn't handle suspense in media very well, I guess. Angeal, our everyman, occasionally gets disturbed and is kind of opposed to stuff that's overly nihilistic. Cosmic horror would turn him off, though I think Sephiroth would be rather fond of that genre. Genesis mostly just wants horror films with a sense of fun and camp, nothing too grisly and grim. He might be a pretentious drama queen, but he isn't about to let a bunch of spookies lecture him on the human condition.

Hi! I saw you reblogged the ask thing so I wanted to ask a question: i've seen a few stories/headcanons with tom hardy characters as werewolves, do you plan to do more? If i'm not wrong it's Alfie, Leo, Eddie, Eames & Forrest for the time being.... Just wanted to know if you had other characters planned or maybe headcanons for the ones that only have a story, so you can kind of differentiate better between them.
Also: do you have a favourite/least favourite?
Thanks! 😊 (p.s. love them btw, please do keep them coming if you can! 💕)
Hiya!
I do have a TH Characters as Werewolves post planned to be written and just came up with some headcanons for werewolf!Ivan Locke (even though I’ve never seen Locke).
I recently watched Jacksepticeye play Elden Ring and, unsurprisingly, I was quite taken with Blaidd. Then I remembered an unfinished story I have I could revamp that’s set in Wales. Now, I’ll explain the finer details of it all in the werewolf canons post.😅
Furthermore, I also have some things up my sleeve for werewolf!Bob Saginowski. Again, you’ll see those in the post.😉
Anywho, I’ll try to differentiate between the characters a wee bit better, but I mostly like exploring the affect and effect of lycanthropy (which I approach as a psychological as well as physical affliction) has on them. Therefore, there’s not a whole lot of difference between them aside from the stages in which they themselves are.
Now, as for a favourite, I have a hard time picking between Alfie and Bob. They’re polar opposites of each other, Bob being the sweet & shy bartender who writes paranormal romance and Alfie being the assertive Alpha of the Camden Pack, a King with a past, who longs for the ideal he and his love held for a single summer. I do admit, though, Werewolf!Forrest is growing on me too.
As my least favourite, I’d say Eddie. However, this is mostly in part to the challenge of having to transform Venom into a Wolf and place them within my ‘lore’. I’m not altogether unhappy with how the story turned out, but it’s not my proudest work.
The other part comes from having to set the story in America and me being more familiar with the UK & Ireland, its accents and dialects (especially Irish English), and cultures. In short, it’s easier for me and often makes more sense for my tales since I tend to draw on Celtic (and Norse) mythology. Also, we need more stories set in that part of the world. Not just London, Margate, or Birmingham. No, I want stories set in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Swansea, Inverness, Belfast, Dublin, Galway, Waterford, Gloucester, York. I could go on and on, but you get what I mean. So, yeah, any story set in America with American characters on this website that’s overrun with Americans is automatically not one of my faves or something I’ll likely continue.
Right, I just remembered I did James Delaney as a werewolf too a wee while ago in a piece called Claddagh. Wasn’t my proudest work either, but that’s because I haven’t properly done a character study on him yet and therefore can’t get a feel for him.
Anyhow, there’ll be plenty more wolfish tales in the future from me because I’ve plenty ideas👍🏻😸

BIOGRAPHY
TL;DR
Mick Davies was a member of the British Men of Letters. He was orphaned at the age of six and often ran away from the awful institutions he was placed in and had honed in on his pick-pocketing skills. Incidentally, he stole a cursed coin from a BMOL agent. The man saw promise in Mick and he was enrolled into Kendricks Academy. When the BMOL set their sights on the Winchesters, Mick, now a full fledged agent, also travelled over to America. Throughout his time with American hunters he started to really see the evil hidden within the code of his organization that had been the only home he'd had. When American hunter Eileen Leahy accidentally killed Renny Rawlings, Mick overcame his desire to follow the code. He knew those like Dr. Hess and Arthur Ketch would never hear him out, he went on the run instead of returning to British Men of Letters headquarters.
FULL BIO
Michael Davies was born to parents James and Eliza Davies in London, England on March 16, 1975. Though he doesn't remember any of it, he lived a pretty standard life for his first few years of childhood. Unfortunately, he became orphaned shortly after his sixth birthday when his parents were killed in a car accident. Without any family willing to take him in as their own, he started to bounce around orphanages and group homes. With all of the problems riddled in those places, he often decided to take to the streets for months at a time before someone would catch up to him or a teacher would notice that something was off with him. While sometimes struggling for food or clothes or having something he simply desired rather than required, he honed in on his pick-pocketing skills.
Within a few years, he was rather skilled, most often stealing watches and other pawnable items and occasionally swiping a wallet or loose change. At the age of ten, he inadvertently stole something that would change his life forever. He noticed a rather impressive coin in the pocket of a young man and grabbed it, hoping that it was valuable enough to give him some quick cash when he would pawn it off. However, the man soon tracked him down because the coin was actually a cursed coin that had been seized by the British Men of Letters to stop the murderous chain it left in its wake after it was inevitably lost to someone new. Rather than being angry that the kid had nearly cost him his life, the agent saw promise in Mick with his eye for detail to notice the coin in the first place and ability to steal it from someone who was clearly on high alert to keep the coin in his possession.
Before he had much time to think about what it all meant, Mick was enrolled in Kendricks Academy by the young man. There, he learned all about the organization that he worked for. They were a secret organization that specialized in all things supernatural with the inevitable goal of wiping out all Supernatural activity from the United Kingdom and surrounding areas as well as catch anything new that tried to come in before it caused too much chaos to their country. While Mick was not the most popular among his fellow classmates, especially at first, he did grow to have a few friends. The school provided him with something he had never had, a sense of belonging, and also deeply fostered his thirst for knowledge. Mick was adamant about keeping his performance up in all of the subjects, but would often be found diving further into the information available about lycanthropy whenever he had spare moments.
The young men and women also studied the code that the organization had put forth. Some of the tenets spelled out in the code made Mick and his classmates uneasy, but they all sort of hoped they were a last resort sort of guide rather than something most of them would end up practicing. However, this was not the case and at the age of 13, Mick found out how seriously the organization took the code when he was pulled into the office of Dr. Hess with his best friend Timothy. The headmistress of the school and an elder of the organization informed the young boys that they were being tested on how true to the code they were. A knife was placed between the two teenagers and they were informed only one of them would walk out alive.
Timothy suggested that they ran, but in the end Mick knew that if they tried they would be tracked down and murdered by the organization because they knew too much about monsters and had been clued in on too much about the Men of Letters to be freely roaming the world. Not to mention, he felt an immense amount of loyalty to the organization that had given him a life that was ten times better than anything he would have had still living on the streets. With a decision that would haunt him for the rest of his life, he killed his best friend with the knife to uphold the code. He was welcomed back into the folds of Kendricks with open arms, but a small piece of him that he kept tucked away resented the organization for what he had been forced to do. Another classmate, Arthur Ketch had fondly started to refer to those left in their class as the survivors.
Despite his traumatic experience and qualms with the Men of Letters, he graduated from Kendrick's and became a field agent. As he grew older, he became more fond of tracing and planning attacks rather than executing them, but still was often still present when other agents tracked down the monsters plaguing the country when they alerted the wards and sigils placed all around the country at wards and docks to let the BMOL know that a monster was entering the country so that they could execute before the streak of no monster related deaths happening in the country since 1965. In his late thirties, Mick started to show signs of carpal tunnel syndrome, which hindered some of his ability with strength and combat training. It didn't affect his day to day life too much, but he worked with it to ensure that he could still be on scene for some attacks past his operative planning, because he knew he always needed to be his best to prevent falling victim to an attack.
Just around the bend from this period of time was another life-altering event that he had no idea was coming. The British Men of Letters started to show interest in the Winchesters from the moment they first heard of them, but with the release of the Darkness, Toni Bevell was sent to gain their trust in hopes of helping them change their ways to resolve the boom of supernatural problems in America. However, Toni abandoned her mission and instead captured Sam Winchester. Mick was sent to collect her and bring her back to England to face the consequences. He helped save Sam from Toni and sent her back on a plane to England, sending Arthur Ketch in her place to keep an eye on the Winchesters. Meanwhile, he served as a point of contact between American hunters and the British Men of Letters, often trying to recruit them to aid in the organization's efforts.
From his point of view, the BMOL was helping Americans fix their seemingly backwards ways of handling monsters in pairs or small groups after the monsters had caused so much destruction, rather than ridding the country systematically. Mick aided in rescuing the Winchesters from the secret service when Lucifer took the American president as his vessel. Despite some pushback, he was able to recruit many American hunters and Ketch helped convince Mary Winchester to join in on their efforts. With their newly built Men of Letters base in Kearney, Nebraska, he was able to organize attacks to wipe vampires from the United States. With almost all of the vampires in the Midwest taken out, the base was attacked by vampires led by the Alpha Vampire, which was shocking because BMOL intel indicated he was in Morocco. With Sam and Mary's help he was able to create more bullets for the colt and Sam killed the alpha vampire.
Mick started to send cases to the Winchesters because he had gained Sam's trust and Sam had convinced Dean he was trustworthy as well. One of the cases he sent was a werewolf case, which he asked to accompany them on to get hands on experience on the field. He realized that their eyewitness had been bitten and kept it from the Winchesters so that he could kill her without any pushback as it was protocol and he knew that the Winchesters didn't agree with killing all monsters. Not having taken another life himself since Timothy, he really struggled with guilt from this action on top of his shoulder being scratched up when she had fought back. He lost a lot of trust when the Winchesters found out what he had done and when Claire Novak is turned by one of the werewolves, he doesn't push as hard to kill her, both because he felt conflicted that his instincts were all wrong from how he was formed by the BMOL and the threat of his life the Winchesters placed on him for her safety.
They safely cure Claire of her lycanthropy and Mick revels in the miracle that she became and it causes him to question his loyalty to the code further. With all of the memories of Timothy resurfaced, he spent time in the bunker with the Winchesters away from the organization to deal with his thoughts. This coupled with learning that Lucifer impregnated a woman led the three men to spend the night drinking. The next morning, he was alerted by Dr. Hess that there wasn't any more time to try to convince American hunters to join them and was given the task of assimilate or eliminate with another member sent to keep tabs on him. While trying to capture the woman carrying Lucifer's child, their attempts are thwarted by a Prince of Hell and the Men of Letters member sent to keep tabs on him is killed in the crossfire by Eileen Leahy. Per the code, Mick stated that he must kill Eileen, but already teetering on the edge Sam was able to convince him that it was okay to follow his own code.
Mick knew those at his organization wouldn't separate themselves from the code like he had. Ultimately, he decided to go on the run rather than returning to the BMOL headquarters where he surely would meet his death for ignoring the code and thinking the Americans had a better approach to preserving their own humanity. He hid out in hotel rooms under pseudonyms and started to hunt, feeling a lot more secure in his newfound life when he heard that the British Men of Letters compound had been destroyed.

Meeting and Dating Jack Goodman
Tumblr media
(Not my gif)(Requested by anonymous)
(Most of these can probably go for both normal jack and ghost jack but the hcs center around him being amongst the undead. I wouldn’t mind writing some hcs specifically for human Jack though)
- You first met Jack in highschool. Initially, you were friends with David who was in a few of your classes, but soon enough David introduced you to Jack and the three of you became a trio.
- Jack fell for you the moment he saw you, or at least couldn’t help but find you incredibly attractive. You probably thought he was just nervous when you first met with the way he was stumbling over his words and acting so awkward. Gosh, David had a field day with him after you left.
- To Jack, you’re completely out of his league and there is no chance that you would be interested in him. But he has to try. Too bad his “trying” isn’t nearly as obvious as he would like it to be.
- The two of you gradually spend more time together, going from only hanging out once in a while; and only with David, to hanging out for hours on your own. Every time you’re together he tries to psychically project his feelings into your mind.
- Its nearly a year later that he actually tries to put the moves on you but at that point you’re such good friends that you don't even notice what he’s trying to do. Every proposition of a date is just him asking to hang out. Every romantic compliment or pickup line results in you laughing and telling him to stop messing around. He doesn’t know how much more of it he can take.
- When the three of you graduated highschool, you’d decided that you’d take a year off and vacation in Italy. The boys wanted to go backpacking so they agreed to meet you there. Of course, they never really did, did they?
- You were beside yourself when you heard about what happened. Here you were, in the middle of a foreign country supposed to be having the time of your life and instead, you find out that one of your best friends is killed by an animal and that the other is recovering in a London hospital. Jack was dead, it was like the idea wouldn’t register in your mind. Jack was dead and you’d never see him again.
“Y/n came to my funeral. Gosh, she really looked torn up,” Jack smiled at David almost sheepishly. “Do you think now would be a bad time to tell her how I feel?”
- It was a few days after his funeral that you first saw him again. You though that you were going crazy, that your grief had gotten the better of you and you were having a serious lapse in your sanity. But it all seemed far too real, too detailed to be a hallucination.
- After hearing about what happened, you’d cancelled the rest of your trip and went back home. You’d holed yourself up in your room for a week before you finally forced yourself to go outside, though it was only to attend Jacks funeral.
- You were curled up on your bed, still dressed in your funeral attire and feeling utterly miserable as you fumbled with a book you’d borrowed from the boy for your plane ride to Italy. The room was quiet, save for you sniffling, ...up until a sudden voice rang out.
“You never did get the chance to give me that back.”
- Your eyes widened as you clumsily sat up and turned around. There he was, standing in the doorway to your bedroom; torn and bloodied but there. You watched as he walked inside the room, smiling at you as he took a seat on the edge of your bed. Feeling the mattress sink under his weight was what fully convinced you that you weren’t just going mad.
- Your mouth went completely dry as you looked at him. You couldn’t think of anything to say even as you tried your hardest. All you could manage to get out was a “how” and a clumsy sounding “what”.
“How ya doin y/n/n? Wonderful service wasn’t it. I was glad to see you there. I think my parents were too, they always liked you,” he said sweetly though the words held a bitter air. “You know, I was thinking about sticking around here a bit. You said I was always welcome and, well, being around the dead all the time is really starting to bum me out. I much prefer your company.
- You inched closer to him, placing a tentative hand on his cleaner shoulder before moving it to touch his undamaged cheek. His skin was cold but you could touch it as though he were really there. Letting out a sob, you lunged forward, smushing you’re lips against his cheek and pressing your forehead to the side of his head.
“Well don't get all mushy on me now.”
- True to his word, he did stay, albeit in intervals. Every now and again, he’d disappear for a while but he always came back and was seemingly content and relieved to be around you.
- Its not very long after he comes back into your life that he finally confesses his feelings. He figures that, hey, he’s dead, what else has he got to lose? So one night, just as you’re drifting off to sleep, he enters your room and kneels beside your bed, delicately shaking you awake.
“Y/n/n? I know its late but I’ve been sitting up and thinking. Thinking about my life, all the things that happened, everything I should have done. I realized that I didn’t do much at all. I mean; I should have met more people, went out more, slept around more.” he chuckled softly though it sounded more like a scoff than anything else.
“But you see, I can live with all of that, or, well... nevermind! The point is, that there was one thing that I should have done that I never did, something that I can’t just let go of. …I should have kissed you Y/n. I should have kissed you and never stopped. I was an idiot, I was an idiot because I never told you how I felt when I had the chance. Well now I’m a lousy mess of ghostly meat but I’m going to finally tell you.” He paused, taking a deep breath and trying to calm his nerves. Even in death, he was a coward.
“Y/n. I love you. I’ve loved you since the moment I saw you and never once has that love gone away; …not even in death. I know this isn’t very orthodox and that I’m not a very nice looking corpse either. …And maybe this whole thing is insane and I never should have said anything at all!” He spoke as though he finally realized how bizarre the situation was, an nervous edge in his voice. He paused and collected himself before speaking again. “…but I did say it, so now we’re just gonna have to move on from here.”
- None of his dreams could have ever prepared him for the sheer shock and joy that he felt when you told him that you liked him too.
“So you’re saying we could have been together all of this time?” You couldn’t help but laugh at the look on his face. With a tired smile, you beckoned him into your bed and laid back once again to go to sleep, this time with him by your side.
-  You had your first date in your house, cuddled up on your couch and watching movies. It was just like any other day yet different at the same time. It felt right.
- The two of you shared your first kiss that same day when you were saying goodnight to each other. You were going to go to bed and he wanted to stay up a bit longer so he walked you to your bedroom. You both paused at the door before he leant down and kissed you gently, saying goodnight with a smile as you retreated into the room.
- And so, the dead joined the living... in her small studio apartment.
- Jack is sort of an indoor boyfriend so to speak. He’s a ghost; and a mangled one at that, so you can’t exactly be seen with him out in public.
- He’s a bit clingy. He’s pretty much always alone when you’re not around so he hates when you have to leave him.
- I hope you don't mind gore because his isn’t going away anytime soon.
- Please let him kiss you. Please. He is literally begging you to makeout with him.
“I know the face is a bit messy but my lips are still perfectly intact.”
- Humor is sort of a defense mechanism for him. Whenever he’s nervous or doesn’t know what to say; or how to say what he wants to say, he’ll just keep cracking jokes and trying to make you laugh in an effort to ease the tension.
- Getting surprise visits. He’ll most definitely scare you with the way he just pops up wherever you are, though its hard to stay mad at him when he says that he missed you.
- Sudden butt pinches and grabs. He puts his hands behind his back whenever you turn to look at him, glancing away and whistling before looking at you with a little devilish smile.
- Jaw kisses. He loves them and he loves giving them though he uses his for evil.
- Cuddling? He loves it though it may be a bit difficult with his …injuries. You'll usually lay side by side and hold hands while you sleep or you’ll clutch his hand  to your chest and snuggle into that.
- You can’t exactly go on dates so you’ll have to find things to do at home, unless you want to go somewhere very secluded.
- Picnics in the woods.
- Late night walks. You’re pretty much only able to go out with him when it’s dark, otherwise you’ll have to pretend he’s not there which certainly puts a damper on things.
- Curling up on the couch together with some hot chocolate and a corny sitcom.
- Giving him some goddamn toast. There's not much to eat in the spirit world and god does he miss your cooking. Would you mind making him something?
- Talking to a corpse is boring. To him, you’re a much better conversationalist, even if you think you're a bad one.
- He has a bad habit of speaking when he shouldn't or saying the wrong thing. Nowadays, there’s not too many instances where that's a problem though it’s certainly earned him a few glares from you.
- Lovingly calling him meatloaf and chopped liver. He …tolerates it; only because you look at him so sweetly when you do so.
- Is he legally obligated to say your name; at least, twice during every conversation of yours? At this point, you’re honestly pretty sure he is. He doesn’t use nicknames though he doesn’t have anything against them, he just prefers saying your real name.
- He has kind eyes, doesn’t he? It seems like whenever you turn to him, he’s always gazing down at you with this sincere look of absolute adoration. It makes your heart skip a beat every time.
- Jack is a bit naive when it comes to girls or, rather, girls he’s in love with. He always believes what you say and falls for your devilish little tricks.
- David definitely teased him relentlessly for his crush on you and was betting on the two of you getting together. The circumstances aren’t the best but at least it happened, right?
- He’s a fan of old literature and makes references to it whenever he can. If he finds out you haven't read his favorite novel, he will literally sit you down and force you to.
- Teasing compliments. They aren’t the most romantic but hey, they still make you smile.
“Baby there is nothing mediocre about your body.”
- He likes sitting in your bathroom while you take a shower so that the two of you can talk. He also likes doing it so he can watch you shower but you like to focus on his interest in what you have to say, it’s much sweeter.
-  He’s a horny boy, even in death. Are ghost boners a thing? Well he’s certainly gonna find out.
- Being welcomed home by a smooth jazz record and him patiently awaiting your arrival with a somewhat suggestive grin.
- Every time you say something all lovey dovey to him, he swears his heart nearly starts beating again. He never knows what to say back, he usually just turns red and laughs all shyly.
- He makes a big deal out of your birthdays, he doesn’t let you just forget about them or treat them like any other day. You’re alive! You’re another whole year older! …Fuck! …You’re aging and you’re going to keep aging.... He’ll try not to think about that part.
- Getting to hear little bits of gossip. No one can see him so he’s certainly witnessed some interesting things, interesting things he likes to tell you about.
- Nosy ghosty. He snoops around your stuff constantly. He’s practically memorized your entire house down to a T.
- Having to accept that there’s a lot of supernatural things in the world. Werewolves, ghosts, and who knows what else; they’re all real and your life has just been completely normal up until now.
- Getting to have all of your questions about death answered though some of the more painful things, he’ll keep a secret just because he doesn’t want to make you upset.
- I feel as though his looks can depend on his mood and also the type of spiritual day it is. You know how some days are considered more spiritual than others? Well on those days, he’s normal, looking very chipper and with a lot of energy. On bad days, he’s practically a skeleton with a few flaps of dried up skin.
- He usually hides away during his bad days, not wanting you to see him like that and be scared away. You reassure him that you’ll love him no matter what but a part of you is sort of thankful. You don’t know if you want to see him all horribly decomposed.
- He does get jealous. I mean, he’s a ghost, you're human. Plus, he was a loser in life, why wouldn’t you pick the attractive living guy whose hitting on you over him.
- He uses humor to pretend like he isn't bothered by the guys actions but will call him an asshole or something otherwise insulting later when you're alone together. Like out of nowhere, he’ll make some offhanded comment about the guy and you’ll realize he’s still mad about it. You just agree with him and give him a kiss.
- A part of him; a selfish, disgusting part of him wishes that you were dead. That something would happen to you, something quick and painless but something. On one hand, he wants you to live the life that he couldn't. But he also can’t help but want you with him, encased in eternity as beautiful as always and just how he remembers you.
- He used to be more of a coward but now that he’s dead, he really has nothing to fear, does he? The only thing he’s worried about is your wellbeing.
- You’re very good at changing his mind and convincing him to do things. He defends himself by saying its because he likes you so much and that you should consider yourself lucky that he does.
- He’s not stupid, maybe a bit cowardly at times but not stupid, if something doesn't feel right he’s getting the hell out of there and making sure he takes you right along with him. As much as he’d love an equally undead girlfriend, he knows you aren’t ready to go and shouldn’t be going.
- He’s quite protective of you. He hates even thinking about you being hurt in any way. He literally can’t even hear about it in hypothetical situations.
- He cant stand seeing you cry. He never knows what to say or do. He always yearns to comfort you but god, how does he do that? He’ll usually just rub your back and let you cry into his shoulder, trying his best to crack some carefully selected jokes in an attempt to make you feel better.
- He can be annoyingly persistent when he wants something. He wont let up so unless you’ve got real thick skin and the patience of a saint. You’ll wind up doing what he asks just to get him off your case. If you don’t do it for him, he’ll wind up doing it for himself anyways so don’t sweat it too much.
- There's constant short lived bickering between the two of you. It’s just how he is. He’s a smartass, especially when something bothering him and highly argumentative when something doesn’t sit right with him. You don’t have all that many real fights though.
- He apologizes when he’s in the wrong or when he feels that he could have handled things better, shyly and jokingly pleading with you to not try and exorcise him while pressing little kisses across your face.
- He doesn't say he loves you very often. He deems it a very serious thing to say and saying it makes him nervous so he keeps it reserved for special moments.
- Well, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon so I hope you’re ready for a long relationship.

While a regular rat is their preferred form, they’re not above becoming a Hybrid Zoan when the situation calls for it. More than a handful of people, hundreds of cats and other beings have ‘gone missing’ in towns wherever the Rat King is said to have settled, never to be seen again. People wandering late at night have occasionally sighted a large shadow creeping through the blackest alleys, but their warnings are usually laughed off because who still believes in ancient myths and fairy tales?

Werewolf Fred...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Werewolf Fred has come a long way and I love his design. I take inspo from An American Werewolf in London, and I headcanon that werewolf Fred's howl sounds like the howl from the movie. It's such a tasty werewolf design, I don't see many quadrupedal werewolves in media and I'm kinda upset, but hey that's how we roll I guess. Also I'm thinking about giving werewolf Fred more wild teeth (like the aawil creature) because phase 3 werewolves are the most aggressive and uncontrollable
Also Frederick's birthday is in 2 days :D
