as much as i clown on julie andem, i will be forever thankful that s4 went to sana bakkoush. that an entire season went to the type of character who never gets to be the main. the type of character who instead is either the villain, the funny sidekick, or relegated to the wings. and how much that representation meant and still means. not only to young muslim girls but to people who never thought they would ever come out of the background.

and when i try to imagine the skamverse without sana, it just leaves this sad feeling inside. and now that the news is official, the rumors have finally come true, and we are left with the end of a new gen without ava getting her shine. it just leaves me with the same type of sad feeling. of what could have been. of the type of main that really deserved to see her own season. ah well.
