Drink a full glass of water before eating and then drink a full glass between bites, it will fill up much faster. Remember that it takes 20 minutes for the brain to realize that the stomach is full.

This is what I do, it makes the process fun and really helps you see the results:
I get a shoelace and tie it pretty right around my waist, and I keep it there until it becomes loose.
As someone who loses motivation when I don’t see results, this really helps because when the string becomes looser I feel really good about myself, the string also becomes uncomfortable if I eat too much and get really bloated so it helps me make sure I don’t overeat, and in general it just helps because I work hard to try and make that string loose. When I’m done sometimes I tie it again tighter but you don’t have to.
It’s always good to try out something new when you’re feeling unmotivated.
