Nationals Semifinals - Women’s Category
Kuroo Tetsurou prides himself on being observant.
"Mine!"
The scream echoes through the volleyball court. The sound travels around the space like a bullet, piercing through. He can feel it with the buzzing on his ears, the prickling of his arm hairs, the taut of his abdomen. There's very little room in this large gymnasium for anything other than your voice.
Right behind the court, Kuroo watches you as you spread your arms out, demanding room and stopping other players from trying to take the ball. The high ball gets caught in your expert hands, landing perfectly on the spiker’s hand near the net. Setting on the first touch is a risk. He can feel a tiny bead of sweat on his own forehead.
Kuroo Tetsurou loves volleyball.
He's also an excellent student, son and grandson, captain.
To him, all those things are real. Concrete.
He enjoys the game itself, the tactics, discussing new plays, trying to defeat the competition, improve his team. Being a captain is also important to him and he does it well, comforting the players when all they need are gentle words and confronting them when a firm stance is demanded. And he takes care of them.
He also likes studying. The comfort of providing right answers to tough questions proves in and of itself enough reward to someone who's so analytical, observant, smart. Opening up a book, gathering knowledge, putting that to the test—it's grounding and, god forbid, fun for him.
He's also someone one can rely on. The way his obaa-chan dotes on him, his dad prides himself on calling him "his son". An excellent friend too, with the way he watches over Kenma, always concerned with the younger boy—his eating and sleeping habits, his ability to communicate with the other players of the Nekoma volleyball team. He's the caring kind and, if you ask his obaa-chan, has always been this way, ever since he was a little kid.
So, it makes sense that there's little room for other things. Like, say, romance.
Kuroo Tetsurou is observant so, naturally, he knows.
He knows about the girls who swoon over him, whether they confess it on the hallway, with a letter or even an onigiri atop his desk every Friday for three months. The ones who don't say anything are only being slightly less obvious. The flitting of their eyes, blushing of their cheeks, twirling of their hands—it all points towards something that he's, by now, on his third year of high school, well aware of.
Kuroo supposes it makes sense. He is tall, with an athletic, muscly build, even if his body is more towards the lean side. He can't fix his hair for his life, but the more obvious girls have already pointed out to him that it's part of his charm. Plus, he is genuinely nice and tries to get along with everyone, shining his smirk to whomever crosses his path. So, yeah. It makes sense.
Kuroo Tetsurou, however, finds it all too abstract.
Maybe because he doesn't have the time, maybe because this romantic inclination has never hit him. Being a child of divorce might also factor in.
Still, there seems to be no substance to it, though.
Not that he doesn't get it, because he does. He thinks some of his suitors are pretty, there's a poster of a sake ad with a particularly busty lady in the boy's clubroom that catches his eye and he is, after all, high-schooler. But it remains too abstract.
The volleyball club, his almost spotless track record as a student, his home life. That's real, that's concrete.
The opposing team strikes and the ball hits Nekoma's blockers, flying to the end of the court. His eyes are now watching you, sprinting with all your might to catch the ball from the libero, sending in flying toward the ace.
Kuroo Tetsurou feels tethered.
This is also real. The way he can feel himself grounded, glued to the floor, like his own weight could be enough to open up a hole underneath him. The strap of his gym bag weighs on his shoulders, his hand griping it until it pales, his fingernails piercing the fabric. He can't tell if he's breathing too fast or not at all. His heart sits heavy on his chest, watching you.
Nekoma's match point has turned into a rally and god, this point belongs to this team. He's been watching them for a while now and knows how much they've grown, how they've improved into this well-oiled machine, the most important piece being, of course, you. The new setter.
With a philosophy that focuses on receiving and connecting, the women’s team had been suffering in the past two years when its former setter graduated high school. The backup only played volleyball for fun and as such, wouldn’t and couldn’t lead the team to Nationals. Now, it's only natural that Nekoma would rely so much on a player that managed to turn their last bad years around and bring them back to the basics: connection.
One of Nekoma's wing spiker strikes, but the ball gets stopped by the blockers on the other side. The libero digs, barely managing to catch it with an underarm pass, sending it high up and towards the other team’s side. It’s gonna be an out, Nekoma will lose this point, he thinks. Then, she shouts your name.
Kuroo holds his breath as he watches you run from the front of the court, under the net and onto the other side, your sneakers squeaking when you jump off the ground. You look like you're flying, both hands above making their way to the moving ball. You're untethered, he thinks, feeling himself get heavier. You make a pass to a spiker coming from the back, catching the opposing team by surprise, ball landing heavily on the ground, finally claiming this long rally and, with it, the match.
He closes his eyes and exhales, his grip going slack. When he opens them again, you're on the ground looking up, breathing heavily, clenching your firsts. Then you punch the court and let out a scream, being followed by your teammates as they pile on top of you, the backups running from the back of the court to celebrate with everyone.
Kuroo Tetsurou prides himself on being observant.
Yet a part of him feels like he's only now seeing things clearly.
hello everyone, tis been a while been thinking about coming back for some time now and i have a few kuroo fics i'm hoping to publish this year. bear with me, as i have three ideas toying around in my head lol

hi bestie! what are you favorite characteristics about kuroo and tsukishima?
okay get ready for a loaded answer:
with kuroo, i love how passionate and driven he is, especially with the one shot coming out recently you can see how much he loves volleyball (obviously) even if he no longer plays it. kuroo is also very kind and considerate to other people, even if he doesn’t readily show it he likes to help ppl and to tie him and tsukki together i love love the fact that he helped make him a better blocker. kuroo is so smart and dorky and honestly i find that very attractive but he knows when to take things seriously and get down to business. he’s also very loyal to his friends, as seen w kenma. he just screams best boyfriend energy 😵‍💫💗
with tsukki i like how perceptive he is about things. he’s very observant and analytical (maybe too much some times). i also just love how sarcastic he is and how he riles people up (same w kuroo too). like it’s so funny to see and the way that he teases people sometimes reminds me of my humor with my friends. i’m also just a sucker for tsundere characters hehe, so he breathes any sign of actual emotion and i go crazy idk. he’s so annoying but in a way that’s endearing to me bc he makes me laugh a lot. also adding onto the face that he’s also really smart and again i find that hot hehe.
these two are similar in someways imo but the differences are still clear.

This is gonna be long so just keep scrolling if you want. I just want to (rant) talk about something that's been in my mind since Season 1 of Haikyuu. This part: Kenma getting lost in Miyagi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's in an unfamiliar place, he probably got distracted by a game and wandered off unknowingly. Okay. Understandable.
But here's what's bugging me about this whole thing; why didn’t he just use a map to find his way to the place they're going to stay in? (Who do we ask for help when we don’t know which way to go?) I mean, he was fiddling with his phone when Hinata saw him. He definitely has some form of internet connection because he seemed like he was either browsing the net or playing a game (and it's so easy to find a free/open wifi in Japan). Since he was casually doing that, battery doesn’t seem like an issue either.
So why on earth did he have to wait for Kuroo to come get him when he could have just used a map?
Am I overthinking this? Yes. Am I unnecessarily nit-picking over a random detail? Yes.
It's part of my fic though and while I was writing a particular part, I couldn’t come up with a reason why Kenma couldn't just ask where his team went via chat/sms and go to them instead of having someone fetch him. That seemed more time-efficient to me.
So then, I thought, maybe he's not good with maps or directions? I kid you not when I say this but I have gotten lost even with both Google Map and Waze telling me exactly which turn I should take (How would I know which side is east Google?! I'm not a freakin' compass!!). Yes, I am that bad at directions (please don't judge me)
But I could hardly believe that Kenma is like that too. I honestly believe he's waaay smarter than me.
Then a fact about Kenma made me realize why. He's a gamer, a very analytical one too.
I feel like he's the type to research extensively and study all the routes he can take before going on a trip. He probably looks at the street view of places to find landmarks he could use for finding certain locations.
But since he was already there, he didn’t have time for that. In that point of view, it does seem more practical and time-efficient to just wait for Kuroo as opposed to trying to find his own way back. The possibility of getting even more lost is not something he would want to risk.
That and Kuroo probably told him to just stay put being the mother-hen the captain is.
But here are other things I noticed in that episode. Seemingly small things that are actually impressive, storytelling wise: Kenma's body language.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is an introvert, I think we can all agree to that.
The moment Hinata approached him, you can tell how uncomfortable he is. His voice was soft, his eyes were shifting, his posture was hunched and closed off, and he was constantly turning away. He even flinched when Hinata sat too close to him (more like rabbit-hopped next to him).
But you could also see Hinata's unbelievable trait here. Normally, people who are boisterous and loud just turns reserved people like Kenma further in their shell but Hinata somehow got Kenma interested.
Initially, Kenma flinched away when Hinata sat near him but when the subject of volleyball came into play, he relaxed a little (just a very subtle change in the way he speaks). It's definitely not intentional but Hinata used the subject to further get Kenma talking and comfortable enough around him. Eventually, Kenma was talking on his own, not needing questions to contribute to the conversation.
Hinata's energy was just too much to turn away. He was also such an animated storyteller that Kenma was now turning his body to face Hinata.
And then Hinata started sharing his insecurity (about being small for a middle blocker) which Kenma related to. Kenma was now sharing something personal to comfort a stranger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The best part for me was Kenma suddenly looking at Hinata in the eye telling him that his team is strong.
The shift from discomfort to curious to confidence is just so well done. It's subtle but so well done. That interaction, for me, felt very important because that's what made Kenma's next interactions with Hinata more believable, more natural.
I guess in general, Furudate and the animators of Haikyuu are really good at storytelling and showing how relationships are formed in sports. I'm not talking about romantic ships here, just friendship and sportsmanship.
I don't know how to end this so… say bye Kenma.

You know the working daddy captain fanart that you've reblogged recently.. I can't get Kuroo and his son out of my head so may I request a domestic married life au oneshot revolving around that particular fanart - him, his wife and their first kid, a toddler son? Fluffy and romantic, no angst please. If you're up to date with the manga maybe it could be based on post timeskip Kuroo? Thanks a lot!
DILF Day Care With Daddy Kuroo Tetsurō 🤱👼🍼 📆📈
(Fluffville)
‼️ TIMESKIP SPOILERS BELOW ‼️
———————————
“Yeah. Yeah. So that’s what I told Jim in marketing already. To send Bokuto to Tampa to surprise a Japanese little league team there and to send a camera crew with him. Kenma is already putting our ads on his YouTube channel—he told you what?! That he’s not doing it? Well did he say why?! That bratty cat, must have caught him on a bad day. Okay. No, I need this handled TODAY, Greg! Hold on, he will. He’s currently in Italy at some big video game tournament but I’ll stop by his office right now to work it out with his assistant. Just give me thirty minu—“
“Oh no you don’t, Kuroo Tetsuro!”
The wife of the sexiest businessman in the Japanese Volleyball Association Corporation set a cup of French vanilla coffee in front of her talkative husband before stomping her foot. Kuroo quickly covered the speaker part of the phone and gave you a pleading face.
“No!” You repeated. “I am going to Lev and Alisa’s Vogue Magazine cover day-party at their mansion. The babysitter is on vacation. Which means you and only you have to take River to his appointment cross-city.”
Giggling because he understood his own name, almost 2-year-old baby River Tetsurō blew bubbles with his own spit and clapped his tiny hands. Kuroo looked down at the miniature baby he held in his lap as he was on the phone. River looked up at his Daddy and Kuroo’s stomach tightened in return. He quickly said bye to his group call with the interns.
After marrying you 2 years ago, Tetsurō never thought he would love someone as much as he loved you....but he was happily mistaken 9 months after the honeymoon when little River Kuroo popped out.
***
“This is my son?” Kuroo, decked out in a light blue hospital dress—took his baby from the doctors hands. He was the first to hold him. He stared down at his son, already seeing the start of little jet black hairs pressed to his baby’s head.
“Yes.” The nurse grinned, moving Kuroo’s hand so that it was supporting the newborns neck.
Fresh tears sprung out of the ex-middle blocker’s eyes as he shuffled his son to one arm as he moved hastily to hold your hand and show you. He squeezed your hand and the tears kept pouring, showcasing the life you two just created to the wife he loved so much.
“Oh Kuroo....” you whispered drowsily as your eyes filled with tears also. You looked up at your husband in amazement. “He looks just like you.” You whisper to him and then sit up so that you can hold your beloved son yourself.
“Yeah, he does.” Kuroo handed him over to your weak arms, still keeping his hands under yours to support you and the baby. He kissed you on the side of your forehead and wiped your tears. “I love him so much already, Y/N. I love you so much.”
You smiled through your happy tears and leaned your head in to reciprocate Kuroo’s embrace, then leaned down to kiss your baby boy. After a few minutes of admiring him, you handed him back to Kuroo and told him to show the baby to your families and Kenma who were all still waiting in the waiting room. You knew Kenma seemed disinterested to others because he was on his video game, but all who knew him well knew that Kozume was only distracting himself because he was itching to meet his new Godson.
“Okay.” Kuroo whispered into your hair before taking River and planting a kiss on your lips.
***
Returning from his flashback, Kuroo realized that you were in the middle of lecturing him about the balance between work and parenting. He was a phenomenal father and he was there 95% of the time, but he was still a businessman and that meant sometimes he had to work more than he would like to.
Your son started to cry because he didn’t like seeing his mum worked up, so like second nature, Kuroo gave his two index fingers to River to grasp in his tiny hands. That, combined with his dad bouncing him on his the leg (which is exactly what Kuroo was doing) stopped River’s crying in its tracks. River loved holding onto his father’s fingers for some reason, it soothed him. Baby River blew more spit bubbles and giggled.
Kuroo watched you lecturing him, biting his lip because damn was his wife sexy when she was mad. You were all dressed up for this day party in a long black sundress that hugged your curves and as his eyes roamed your figure Kuroo decided that the amazing morning sex you two had earlier suddenly wasn’t enough.
“—Kuroo!! Are you even listening?!”
He returned his eyes back up to yours.
“Uh yes. Listening and undressing you with my eyes. Yep.”
You narrowed your eyes at your man then reached over the expensive island to use River’s bib to clean your son’s snot and spit off his babyface.
You leaned in for a kiss from River and the angel cutely bumped his face against yours, getting saliva all over you. You used his bib to wipe your face too.
“River, honey? Mommy is going to go and have some fun at a party that mommy put on the obvious calendar weeks ago.....the party that she has been excited about going to FOR MONTHS! So, baby boy, your annoying twin will take you to see Dr. Wimble this time because he shouldn’t be working on his days off anyway not to mention he promised, okay my Riv-honey?”
Kuroo deadpanned. “I hate when you speak to our son but you’re really talking to me.”
“Don’t care. I left both your boys’ breakfast is on the stove. And Don’t forget River’s diaper bag!” You stole a sip of your husband’s French vanilla before snatching the car keys and your purse off the island.
Kuroo tried to think about what he was going to do as he continued to bounce his son on his leg, his analytical brain running through dozens of scenarios in a matter of seconds. No matter how he spun it—though, the sexy businessman knew he wouldn’t be without his son today. Looking down at his spiky haired mini-me that looked back up at him with bright, happy eyes, Kuroo realized that—no matter how he spun it—nor would he desire to be without his son today.
“Wait, Y/N! What time is the appointm—“
“—Calendar! Use it!” You yelled dryly before you shut the door and headed to the car Kuroo bought you for Valentine’s Day.
Back inside, Kuroo dragged his son’s high chair next to him at the island and served him the kiddie breakfast you made. Your husband sat beside him, giving River his finger while he drank his coffee and ate his food with one hand. When both boys were done he picked up River and walked over to the calendar.
You were right: it was there. In plain capital permanent marker on today’s date:
Tumblr media
It read:
RIVER’S APPOINTMENT - 3:30PM
HAIBA’S VOGUE PARTY - 1PM
DO NOT MAKE PLANS KUROO!
River giggled as if he was making fun of his father and Kuroo looked down at the love of his life. “River, should daddy piss mommy off and erase it so that daddy looks like he was right?”
River stopped giggling and pouted up at his daddy, his tiny lip quivering like he would cry if he did anything to upset mommy.
“Okay okay!” Said Kuroo hurriedly, giving his son his finger again so he’d stop crying. River smiled. “We have 2 and a half hours until your appointment Rivs, which is on the other side of town, and in between is Uncle Kenma’s office. So we will stop there on the way and then the park. Let’s go, son.”
The raven haired baby cheered. “YWAY DA!”
In 30 minutes flat, Kuroo was decked out in an elegant Armani navy blue business suit. He had every colour and material. He collected River’s diaper bag, packed snacks and his baby chest carrier.
Locking up, Kuroo buckled his son in the back of his 2020 Jag, checking thrice if he was safe in his car seat. Then, he clicked the button to play River’s favourite kid show on the car tv and handed him the stuffed cat Hinata got River for Christmas. It was his all time favourite toy.
Once Kuroo parked in front of Kenma’s high-rise office, he strapped on his baby carrier over his Armani suit and placed River in it. The tall and sexy businessman garnerned SO MANY stares as he looked PRIMO SEXY DILF as he locked his car and strutted inside Kenma’s office building with his son, pressing the elevator button. As he waited, he called his best friend who was in Italy. Kuroo held his phone in between his shoulder and cheek before he snapped at his friend.
“Kenma. Do you need me to hop on a plane with River and crash your video game tournament right now?! Because I will.”
There was murmuring on the other line.
Kuroo gasped.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN RIVER CAN COME BUT I CAN’T?!”
River squealed loudly because he heard his name.
“Listen Kozume....... I have the keys to your loft, did you forget? You’ll come home to a mountain of River’s diapers in your game room if you back out now. You can’t just say no because my administrators are calling too much!!”
Baby River smiled cheekily and clapped his adorable hands as he rode the elevator with his daddy all the way up to his godfathers top floor.
That boy had a mother, father, godfather and a long list of pro volleyball player uncle’s who doted on him....
He couldn’t be happier.

Tumblr media
KARASUNO
daichi sawamura ➝ is always putting his team and friends first, a very loyal and devoted person, who has exceptional leadership qualities, a natural born leader, and is determined to do what’s right for the people he cares about which would place him in gryffindor
koushi sugawara ➝ he is hardworking and dedicated on bettering himself as a volleyball player even though he isn't the starting setter anymore, also known as the pillar of support for the team because of his nurturing and kind behavior despite him also being a little shit sometimes, which i think would place him in hufflepuff
asahi azumane ➝ very modest about his accomplishments as the team’s ace but works hard so no one can take the ace position away from him, also quiet and gentle but values his friendships, making him a good hufflepuff
yuu nishinoya ➝ he embodies the words “brave to the point of recklessness” and his personality is extremely boisterous and daring, which is what many people describe gryffindor as. he is the fred to tanaka’s george weasley.
ryuunosuke tanaka ➝ determined to be the team's emotional support during games, stays fired up to keep the morale of the team high, also is short tempered and hot headed, which is the qualities of a gryffindor. he is the george to noya’s fred weasley.
tobio kageyama ➝ when he was known as the “king of the court” he was arrogant and self righteous in his skills as a setter. he also isn't the best at being able to control his frustrations, causing him to be hot headed and have a lot of nerve when it comes to things and other people, making him a good gryffindor
shoyo hinata ➝ i was really stuck between gryffindor and hufflepuff for him. his personality is literally cheerful, energetic, and baby friendly making it easy for him to make friends with everyone but on the other hand he also doesn’t give up and is determined to be the best that he can be, also makes a lot of rash decisions causing him to be reckless once in a while. ultimately i think he ends up in gryffindor
kei tsukishima ➝ i was stuck between ravenclaw and slytherin but i ultimately think he is a slytherin. slytherins tend to be self preserved, to protect themselves from harm, and in the beginning, tsukki enjoys playing volleyball but holds himself back from putting in a lot of effort so he doesn't suffer like his brother, but later on becomes ambitious and determined to block every ball that comes his way. he’s also smug and takes pride in riling people up.
tadashi yamaguchi ➝ the kindest boy ever to be seen, also the hardest working boy ever, like he went out of his way to improve his jump float serves, tries to improve not only his volleyball skills but his confidence in himself which would place him in hufflepuff
kiyoko shimizu ➝ she’s passionate about her role as the team’s manager, very hardworking and diligent in her work for the team, pays attention to details about the members of the team knowing exactly what would keep them motivated and happy, making her a ravenclaw
hitoka yachi ➝ she is one of the friendliest people around, she’s also very modest in herself and her skills and doesn’t try to compete with others, underestimates her abilities and importance to others, this would place her into hufflepuff
NEKOMA
tetsuro kuroo ➝ i was stuck between ravenclaw and slytherin but i think he would be in slytherin. he’s a scheming little shit which makes him very cunning, something slytherins are known to be. slytherins are also strong leaders and he is a reliable captain for nekoma, taking charge when need be and cheering up the team through sly comments.
morisuke yaku ➝ works hard to be nekoma’s libero since they are known to be the school with good defence. loyal to his friends and team, often being supportive and parental towards them, which would make him a hufflepuff.
kenma kozume ➝ he’s very analytical and composed, paying close attention to everything around him and noticing small changes in behavior and actions on the court and amongst his friends which would make him a ravenclaw.
lev haiba ➝ has confidence in himself, declaring himself the ace of the team, and is competitive with others he deems interesting to compete against. extremely blunt, causing him to say daring things and offending others even if he doesn’t realize it which would place him in gryffindor.
AOBA JOHSAI
tooru oikawa ➝ he is extremely smart and cunning along with his smug attitude, also being very ambitious, which would make him a slytherin. he is very observant and attentive causing him to be clever and resourceful in figuring out his teammates and opponents’ weaknesses.
hajime iwaizumi ➝ stubborn and a little short tempered, especially when it comes to oikawa, but he is a very reliable and supportive friend, constantly keeping people in check and calling them out on their actions. Very dependable and has faith and courage in his own skills and abilities making him a gryffindor.
FUKURODANI
koutarou bokuto ➝ energetic and friendly personality which makes it easy for him to get along with anyone. he is also very hard working, being one of the top five aces, and is kind and just towards others when they are being teased on making him a good gryffindor or hufflepuff but ultimately i think he would be a hufflepuff.
keiji akaashi ➝ he throws in witty comments and replies when having a conversation with someone, also very analytical and can notice small changes in a person’s personality, which allows him to make split second decisions during games in the team’s favor which would place him in ravenclaw.
SHIRATORIZAWA
wakatoshi ushijima ➝  i was stuck between ravenclaw and gryffindor for him because he believes that improving one’s talents is the most important thing for a player which is very ravenclaw of him but ultimately i think he would be a gryffindor because is very confident in his skills as a volleyball player, taking pride in himself and not doubting his ability to win.
satori tendou ➝ he is a little bit sardonic, as he teases a lot of people, and relishes in the defeat of his opponents on the court. he is also very confident and self assured in his skills as a blocker and uses guess blocking as a resourceful and cunning way to defeat the other team which would make him a slytherin.
DATE TECH
takanobu aone ➝ despite his physical features that make him seem intimidating, he is definitely a hufflepuff. he is very kind hearted and composed and tends to dislike arguments, acting as the mediator to stop the arguments from furthering some more.

I'm sorry but my Haikyuu!! loving brain said a crossover with Brave Frontier (including OCs) so here we go
This can also be interpreted as a volleyball AU as well for the non-haikyuu fans. I'm just head empty, only 2d men who play volleyball :')
Setters:
Sky: Personality is positive like Sugawara but add the combined chaotic energy of Tanaka and Nishinoya; loud and energetic as hell. Sasha and Sky being the bromance duo. Very good at communication with team members. Great aim when it comes to setting for the spikers. Also great at serving as her aim and course is super precise.
Karl: Communication is on point. Makes sure that the blockers and wing spikers are able to hit the ball. Oikawa sort of good, Akaashi type of calm and very analytical of opponents before playing against them. Most likely the team captain.
Joshua: Not great at communication. Slight Kageyama situation but not to the extent of being called "King of the Court". Also a goddamn child prodigy. Well rounded player and could proficiently play other positions, he just chose to stick to being a setter.
Bertz: Doesn't get much time on court. Mostly backup but when he's on court, he's similar to Kenma. Calculating and baits blockers into thinking who they think the ball will go to before changing the course of the ball at the very last possible second. Terrifying to play against and very unpredictable.
Middle blockers:
Iris: Can make quick decisions and also able to score points when the situation calls for it. Tsukishima type of middle blocker; snarky and can readblock. Her height also gives advantage.
Lugina: A mix of Kuroo and Tendou. Always scheming and loves crushing spikers. Probably finds joy whenever he successfully crushe the opposing team's spikers and when I mean crush, I mean thoroughly shut the spikers down. Has a rivalry against Seria much like Hinata and Kageyama. Just less childish and more aggressive with screaming at each other
Eun: Able to play on the offence and defence. Prefers to spike more than block. Racks in points like no tomorrow with various spiking techniques as well as can spike with her left hand as well as her right hand. Probably the ace of the team.
Rin: Rin is pretty fast as a middle blocker. Great at spotting empty parts of the opponent's court on a whim thanks to her spiking practice with Raven receiving her spikes. Also a proficient blocker. Just not as good as Iris
Wing Spikers:
Benjamin: Super tall which is a luxury but doesn't have the self confidence. Asahi type of character to apologise for literally everything and super nice to everyone. Has also dabbled in playing other positions and well rounded player in general
Seria: Specialising in brute forcing her way through blockers. Super competitive, especially against Lugina. Rivalry is like Hinata and Kageyama but still gets along. Mostly screams at Lugina. She's the only person who can handle Owen's harsh punishments since she did train with him for awhile.
Wallace: Himbo energy and the personality similar to Bokuto. Just less screaming but still pretty loud. Powerful spikes, taking after Seria and quite energetic. Sets the team mood. Buff as hell as he should be.
Hanzo: Quick on his feet and great decoy like Hinata. Specialising in quick attacks and can stand out as well as blend in. Doesn't talk much like Kenma but does communicate when needed. Has the best reaction time out of everyone
Sasha: Has great jump height like Hoshiumi. Easily clears blockers when she spikes but she doubts herself a lot. Really likes high sets where it can maximise her jump ability. Can also block really well like her father. Super chaotic dynamic with Sky.
Liberos:
Raven: Persistent and is a defence expert like Yaku or Nishinoya. Could play positions where her height comes into use but decided libero was more her style. Specialises in back row sets and is a strategist.
Manager:
Tilith: Will literally support everyone. Constantly encouraging the team and recording their progress. Also will hype them up.
Coach:
Grahdens: The chill coach. Tad creepy but gives great advice. Also makes sure Owen doesn't blow a casket.
