collated a bunch of old sketches of his family!! aki was originally going to be a part of a big like. chinese-zodiac inspired thing and his family in particular were the snakes (he's got the character in his last name lol) and him and his siblings all got snake characteristics . there is however nothing new under the sun and even though i thought this was cool my friend was like "oh like fruits basket" and i shelved the idea LOL

in the end he just existed in a vaccum, i had nothing to do with him, before i dragged him out of there with the intention to drop him into a simpler slice-of-life story with a bunch of terrible postgrad students. that story mainly revolves around like.. biomed researchers basically?? aki would have been an ex-STEM student who dropped out because he didn't want to do medicine anymore, but kept in touch with his friends from the course (the other cast might eventually also be forced into IFs LOL)

i eventually completely veered off the zodiac-course and kept his base design and turned those scales into tattoos! he's got more in infamous, but in this universe it's just those snakes winding around his arms!!!! infamous tattoos are kind of not set in stone cause i plan to add more (inspired by the bandmates) and the tattoos are supposed to be based off them!! there was no way he'd stop at just seven's initials, he has a little thing for all of them!!!! bc we're only really two chapters into infamous tho i just want more time to "know" the bandmates and then give more him more tats (i have been reading asks about them and trying to assign stuff LMFMFMFAOOO)

what he has and i consistently draw him w are seven's initials, the snakes (leftover design from the kind of concept he was based off of), lotuses/flowers (could change!! i'm thinking rn that he gets everyone's favorite flower/plant tattooed), wave designs (i'm praying someone's a water sign), and he's also got the opening notes of their first song that they played as a band :)

the original version of him is also based vaguely off a friend i made in uni who did hair/makeup and which i still think is so cool and gave him that !!!! more specifically he sort of dropped out of a good-asian-kid stem course to do this, which freaked his parents out when they realised he was just Leaving to go cut people's hair. aki's pretty great at it, and is lucky enough to work at a good stylist agency <3

kills it at karaoke with his friends in this universe too :) his genuine passion for working as a stylist and love for his job translates into music for infamous, which despite how "i'm-so-cool-and-chill-about-everything" he tries to seem, is his biggest worry. he really really wants to succeed and stick it to his parents, and can't imagine what else he'd ever do. music is all he has and really gets lost in songwriting/singing :)

his stage name akiya is also a reference to the word for abandoned/empty houses in rural areas in japan. they're cheap to buy, but cost a lot to repair and flip. this is a stealth dig at his parents lol but aki passes it off as a portmanteau of his first/last name: he is secretly emo like this </3

also their band name, snakebites, in general is like 1) "what's cool when we are 16 and making this band when we are in high school" and 2) the band's shared birth year being the year of the snake (2001/i'm projecting) (they're still like 25/26 which makes infamous oddly take place in the future for me, 2027ish???) and luckily i don't believe the year it takes place matters to anyone so i'm just going with it <3 don't think about it too hard this is deep lore that only makes sense to me

their fandom name also call themselves snakes, and they lean into this for their promo materials (each member gets a government assigned snake breed) LMFAO !! aki lightly thinks its cringe but it's not hurting anyone, so he just told maya that he thought the name was great LOLLLLL !!! they have a vaguely edgy image because of this (and because ya know. lots of drama surrounding seven leaving) even though they're much more an indie rock band (sounding more like hippo campus, yona yona weekenders, young the giant) with a reputation for being wholesome

there's also a fun game their fans like to play called "using aki's hair, what era of snakebites is this" LOL <3

F1 Re-Watch 2022: Round 22 - Abu Dhabi

Well friends, here we are 🥲

While it has been more enjoyable than I thought watching (almost) the entire season back, it’s also been very emo whenever the TV feed would cut to Seb and realise it was his last race at each circuit.

Obviously, I had to follow AD live in some way so I actually listened to the BBC Sport radio coverage for quali and the race, and then watched C4 highlights so I’ve heard the race in full and seen chunks of it (and I started full on ugly sobbing on the last lap at the time, bc you know, feelings)

Well, let’s whip out the tissues and see Seb’s last ever F1 race (😭😭😭😭😭)

How coherent will this liveblog be? Great question I have no idea

Also worth noting I’m watching the International feed, as I have done with the other 19 races, I’ll likely watch Seb’s onboard cam in my own time and blubber in peace

Well the race was very meh. Mild midfield spice with the proper battles for almost all the positions from P2 downwards. And a lot of it was down to strategy as opposed to actual racing. So overall a very average 6 front wings out of 10.

And whew, the 2022 season as a whole. We really thought it was going to be a proper title fight after Australia and then Ferrari happened 🥲.

However, my beloved midfield spice saved the season, with Alpine v McLaren and Aston Martin vs Alfa Romeo especially. Like honestly just ignore the title fight and watch the midfield it’s so much more enjoyable (especially with the way 2023 looks to be going asduhsui).

Anyway, the whole reason why I started this was to watch Seb’s last season and there was some great races, some very not good races, but I will forever be so so proud to call him my favourite driver (yes he’s still my fave after retiring this is my blog I can do what I want).

The 2002 season was certainly something. While the title fight wasn’t as entertaining as it could have been, we still had some decent races (Monaco, Silverstone, Austria and Brazil were my faves). And I think we all have the Dutch and Austrian anthems burned into our memories to come degree 🥲.

Do you have any fan casts or strong takes/feelings on the foxes’ appearances? Fandom tends to use the same Pinterest models, which feels wrong to me.

i do in fact! i've actually been meaning to make a post about how i choose to write all of the foxes' ethnicities anyway

but yes i absolutely agree that the typical pinterest model types u generally see on edits is not how i see any of them. nor is reece king or froy gutierrez or lucky blue smith one of my FCs for anyone

for a lot of them i don't necessarily have a single specific FC so much as i have like,, a general impression of features that i will see on various different people, who all may look wildly different from each other or who may not even look how i see the character as a whole but do have a specific feature i associate with them. mostly it boils down to the Energy i get tbh and that's just a Feeling i cant even explain

fun fact im a tiny bit face blind so that might account for some of why i'm so all-over about this

may as well go chronologically. some of them i definitely have more thoughts on than others

1. Dan

ethnicity: Afro Native (Sioux)

features: medium dark skin. buzzcut, killer fade. she often styles it in waves. she's very butch, wears a lot of basketball and cargo shorts, tank tops and flannels and jerseys, hiking boots. skinny but muscular, with a very rectangular body shape. defined jaw. probably like 5'4 or 5'5

FC/Energy: sometimes i get some dan energy out of janelle monae but more butch. lotta dan energy out of samira wiley. lashana lynch

2. Kevin

ethnicity: a lot of things tbd, but he's pretty multi-ethnic. i like the idea of kayleigh being half- or a quarter-japanese in addition to irish because it gives her more of a reason to go to japan for her undergrad. wymack is from d.c. which is a majority black city for its actual residents, but i also like the idea of him being Pasifika/Hawaiian. HOWEVER - and this is pretty important to my read of kevin's character - he's white passing, and has been mostly treated as a white guy who tans his whole life, like occasionally asked if he's italian maybe. learning that his father was a Distinctly Not White Man was a big shock to him.

kristin kreuk, lindsay price, phoebe cates, and marie digby are all half-asian actresses i base kayleigh on

i suppose i base his story partially on broadway actress carol channing, who revealed publically that she was a quarter black when she was like 80 years old. though maybe wentworth miller, a biracial actor who knows his father is black but also doesn't know him, is more accurate to kevin's story. then keanu reeves is a white passing actor with asian ancestry

also none of these people look anything like how i picture kevin lol. kevin is just like,, a guy. handsome ig. but kind of in a CW character kind of way

ethnicity: kayin/karen from myanmar

features: fat and muscular, very wide and heavy. this blog is basically all andrew body type refs. medium-olive skin, has a bit of a greyish tinge that makes him look a bit eerie or unhealthy. deep set, droopy eyes; looks so tired. flat face with a low-bridged nose. crooked teeth, especially his canines. natural hair black-ish but he bleaches it light blond. has the beginnings of martial artist punching callouses in his knuckles

FC/Energy: holy shit the characters i feel have Andrew Energy are all over the place. pedro pascal. babe ruth (yes fr). oddjob (harold sakata) from goldfinger. the jinn (mousa kraish) from american gods. gaear grimsrud (peter stormare) from fargo. takeshi kovacs (joel kinnaman) from altered carbon. and i wanna be clear, it's these characters specifically, and generally NOT the actors outside of that specific role. except pedro ❤️

4. Matt

ethnicity: cuban

appearance: matt has more of an Energy than specific features to me rn. that energy is Warm. he has that Warm bro jock dude energy. kind of a marvel hero build, hunky and muscular. very rectangular face. has this haircut:

5. Aaron

i get to cut myself some slack and not go AS in depth about aaron because he and andrew are identical twins

ethnicity: kayin/karen from myanmar

appearance: similar build to andrew, less confident and casual posture and body language. less apathetically murderous and more emotive expressions. better teeth bc his mom took him to the dentist. yes also bleaches his hair

celebrities: probably a lot like the difference between the characters and the actors. andrew is the characters and aaron is how the actors actually look. idk ive never looked at someone and thought 'hey! looks like aaron!'

6. Seth

ethnicity: have been going with half-vietnamese. considering looking into various south asian possibilities like pakistani

appearance: string bean build. that's all i have to offer

7. Allison

ethnicity: allison's very up in the air for me. she and seth are the two foxes i feel fine with being white, but im committing to having no white foxes sooo. i would say i generally see her as either half-middle eastern or chinese

appearance: plus sized and hourglass shaped. heart shaped face. taller, like 5'8 or 5'9. she has a pretty fraught history with her appearance and her parents payed for/pressured her into getting a nose job to have a 'prettier' nose. she also bleaches her hair blonde. she gets it done at a salon tho the twinyards do it in their bathroom

FC/Energy: elle king and nadia aboulhosn are my main inspos for her, esp body type but nadia esp in Vibes

8. Nicky

ethnicity: multi-ethnic. his mother is southern mexican Indigenous, possibly oaxacan. his father is mixed white/kayin

appearance: definitely takes after his mother while his father is white passing. dark brown skin, warm undertones. slightly stocky build. tall ovular head and thin aquiline nose. he's kind of just,, the opposite of the twins ig, so like their facial features look very different, which is a big part of why people don't make the connection between him and the twins alongside the difference in their skin tones, heights, and builds. nicky's build and features are very vertically-oriented, with a tall head, narrow-set eyes, thin nose with a high bridge, etc. the twins are horizontally-orienged, with broad, flat faces, wide-set eyes, wide noses with a low bridge, etc.

FC/Energy: yalitza aparicio, not a guy but one of the few Mexican Indigenous stars in the film industry and i really like her features for nicky. she's oaxacan

9. Renee

ethnicity: Black. african american

appearance: plus sized, circular/apple body shape. round face. dark skin. microlocs to a bit past her chin, bleached white and dyed at the ends. she and allison go to the salon together. femme but plain style, a lot of blouses and long skirts, practical shoes. knuckle callouses. about 5'6

FC/Energy: dominique fishback. tracie thoms, esp in RENT. gabourey sidibe. nicole byer, but not in Energy. brandy, for some reason, probably bc i think she has very serene Energy and is a little bit otherworldly. like if brandy played arwen or galadriel from lotr it would make perfect sense to me, and that's the Renee Energy™️

10. Neil

ethnicity: mixed. Black/Jewish on both sides. his father is polish ashkenazi and afro-brazilian. his mother is Black British and algerian jewish

appearance: very... sharp. like sharp all over. does that make sense? sharp features, sharp face shape, sharp angles to his body. he's got what i vaguely think of as a 'basketball build' not meaning tall but meaning very rangy and angular and lean. all limbs. seth has a similar build. lighter brown skin. he has waardenburg syndrome which is actually where he gets he gets his eye color, and his eyes are very large and widely spaced as well. freckles freckles freckles. freckles everywhere. 4a hair but at least during canon it's not very healthy and thus the curls aren't well-defined. he grows it out long enough to tie back and starts taking better care of it in post-canon. wonky, slightly crooked teeth, with a gap between the fronts

FC/Energy: now neil i actually have a ton for. mostly models which im a lil ashamed of bc i do try to draw more from athletes. alton mason is a main body type ref. mugsy bogues is good to see what i mean about the basketball build without the height. here're the boys: cykeem white, luka sabbat, désiré mia, Leo Hoyte-Egan, dylan hasselbaink, this beautiful stock photo model i've never been able to track down

but um!! I rly like the idea of th four of them going camping a few hours up north!! (we... don't rly know where. SAW is set so just. imagine a vaguely rural campground lmao. I'm used to camping in th upper peninsula of MI so) it's smth tht Art did a lot w his family when he was growing up, so he's th most familiar w it - Eric went a few times as a kid too, Mallick went Once, n Adam has never rly been camping, w his family or otherwise (he's slept on a trampoline at one of his friends' houses once tho). Art is p excited abt it tbh, it's not exactly smth he gets 2 do often so he's got this whole list planned of things he wants 2 show them!!

it's easiest 2 just take a week in late August, bc they can head back home on a Friday n have the weekend to settle n readjust b4 th coming week + they have to go back 2 work. so they head out around ten on a Monday morning 2 kind of get ahead of th traffic (or at least try to). Art drives both bc he insists and bc he knows they can switch if he needs to, which he does later w Eric. it's a good couple hours (at least 3) b4 they get 2 th campground Art wants to take them to, so clearly it is Music Time + Adam made sure 2 bring CDs! a lot of that time is just spent vibing 2 th music and singing very, very loudly (ESP on Adam + Mallick's end). Art's up front like u three are so fucking goofy (affectionate), but eventually he starts singing too lmao.

Mallick starts th Colour Game, where they try 2 find a car fr every colour of th rainbow. it's smth Eric is familiar w as well bc he used 2 play it w Daniel sometimes, and it's good until they come to purple bc how often do u see purple cars??? so Adam's just like "we're not gonna find pink either" n tht's when this fucking pink pickup truck (noticeably spray-painted, + not done well) passes them n Adam just groans n thumps his head against th window. Mallick is like, trying rly hard not to laugh by pressing a hand over his mouth + Art is biting his lip, but Eric is very openly cackling bc "u see what happens when u assume???" (he gets a very light slap 2 th shoulder but it's still very gentle)

ANYWAY. favourite snacks!! Adam can eat Way Too Many Sour Patch Kids. sour anything, actually, as long as it's candy. yes his tongue hurts and no he doesn't regret it. Eric just gets goldfish bc he tends 2 get a lil carsick + bc it's a food tht's familiar n comforting, n he doesn't rly want 2 be eating anything Too heavy (he's up front w Art, so he can sit by a window in case he needs some fresh air at any point). Mallick likes m&m's, but he switches fr cheez-its every once in a while bc he can only eat so much chocolate. Art likes those peanut-butter filled pretzel bites! he's also partial 2 animal crackers tho. they also bring a good amount of snacks/things they can b sure th four of them like, bc yeah there's a lil store abt a half hour away frm their campsite + they can go there to pick up things if they need 2, but it's easier 2 bring things they like, too. (there's also a mcdonald's in tht town n. they do go there at LEAST twice.)

th campsite they stay at has a lake + a beach, n one of Art + Adam's fave things 2 do is walk along it to see if they can find anything interesting! Mallick goes sometimes too, but mostly he stays w Eric bc Eric can't do tht fr as long as Adam + Art can (not tht he's resentful of it tho). he n Mallick chill on th beach w a blanket (it's kind of like. not necessarily sandy?) n just kinda sit against/lay on each other n read sometimes. Adam + Art come back 2 where they're set up to find them sleeping n Adam has never been more thankful he thought 2 bring his camera!!

on th second day Art + Mallick want 2 go swimming, so th four of them come back out to th beach, but Adam stays out of th water + Eric stays w him. they both know th water will be cold, even if it's late summer, n Adam rly doesn't like being in cold water ESP if it's over his head/he can't touch th bottom. fr Eric th cold can b kind of painful, so they chill n walk along th beach fr a little bit n just talk. Adam gets some good pictures n even gets some of Eric! he also does take a selfie of them, he can't help it. he gets a couple of Mallick + Art too. it's honestly such a nice thing fr them n it just feels like they can breathe easy, not having 2 worry abt looking over their shoulders constantly (tho they're all getting better abt that).

th third day they spend around th campsite to kind of unwind n relax. they might walk th beach a little bit again, but mostly they just sorta chill n walk some of th trails around the campground itself. when night falls they light a small bonfire (Mallick is still iffy around fire, understandably) n they sit around it in their folding chairs w th cupholders (Adam gets red, Eric has green, Art gets blue, + Mallick gets dark green) n make s'mores. they talk abt anything n everything until they're barely able 2 keep their eyes open, n then after making sure th fire is pretty much out they kinda just stumble into th tent n none of them r awake for very long after (they specifically got one tht cld comfortably hold th four of them).

fourth day!! they pack up n head into another little town about 45 minutes away; it's bigger than th one around th campgrounds. after they get situated in a motel room w two beds, they do some window shopping + going into lil stores that interest them! Adam def buys some niche graphic tees tht aren't going 2 make sense to anyone other than th four of them n he's delighted abt it. I like 2 think Eric gets a worry stone, specifically made out of rose quartz. Mallick too, but his is made of amethyst! he also gets a rly cool multicoloured jacket in a thrift store they duck into. Art gets a hoodie w th town's name on it n he's pretty happy w that. they get a few more lil things, just little knick-knacks while they're there, n then they have dinner in this lil diner they'd walked past earlier bc it's inexpensive + the atmosphere is very lowkey n honestly just Nice. there's not a bunch of ppl, the servers r rly kind n the lights aren't too bright, which Eric rly appreciates. it's such a tender moment bc they're squeezed into a booth, Adam + Mallick on one side n Art + Eric on th other, n they're talking n laughing n stealing bites of each other's food n it's Comfortable.

then they head back to th motel n channel surf while unpacking enough 2 get to their sleep clothes. Adam + Eric r sharing a bed n Art + Mallick r sharing th other one, tho Adam is very tempted 2 just push them together so they're all close by (th distance btwn th beds isn't tht big to begin with, but it's the principle of th thing). mostly tho, until they go to bed, they're pretty much just all stretched out Everywhere. Adam is only discouraged frm jumping across th divide btwn th beds bc Art breaks out his Lawyer Voice, despite trying rly hard not to laugh, to say Yr Going To Hurt Yrself, Don't Do That. he grumbles n whines abt it but Adam knows he's right jdhjks (th way he sees it is like. he can b silly sometimes. he's Earned It, but he also trusts Art + wasn't super serious abt tht idea). eventually tho Eric can hardly keep his eyes open n Mallick is just straight up asleep while he's still sitting up so tht's when they all go to bed after making sure every1 is comfortable. they leave a lamp on.

fifth day they pack everything up again n stop 2 walk th trails of this lil park b4 they head home! there's a lil shop near th parking lot so they spend a lil bit of time looking around in there first. they probably pick up a few lil things, souvenirs, n Adam walks around 2 get some pictures. he gets this rly cool one while they're on a bridge, th sun peeking thru the clouds a lil bit n shining down on th water. he's super excited to develop tht one (but he's excited to develop All of them, bc this is his family!!!) + he n Art discuss whether or not they're gonna need another cork board lol. eventually tho they round back to th parking lot n on th way home, they stop at another lil hole-in-th-wall kind of place, but it's just as nice as the first one they'd been to. after tht Eric switches spots w Art n he drives them home!!

they're all exhausted when they get back but they have room to crash w each other while they nap so tht's what they do. they fall asleep all tangled together, Art stretched out w Eric's head on his chest, Adam curled against Eric's back, n Mallick w his head on Art's stomach. there r arms n legs everywhere n tht is okay. they're happy. they love each other. they had a lot of fun on their trip n they're tired, but they're comfortable!! tht's what it's all abt!!! it's just such a good n relaxing experience fr them after all th shit they've been thru.

2. What are your future writing projects?

You're very correct, first up is my 8.22 fic, which just needs final edits, which admittedly might be a lot, given that it’s over 11k at this point!! 😂 But hopefully it’ll be posted this weekend 😉 (And I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you're looking forward to it, anon!! And the fact that you called me your favorite writer??? 🥺🥺🥺 I just hope it lives up to your expectations!! I think that's why it's taken me so long to write... I want it to be really good, partly bc it's my first fic since The Terrible Awful™ but mostly bc I want it to be something therapeutic & comforting & consoling for you guys... Needless to say, I'm putting a lot of pressure on myself for this one 😂)

But yes, past that, I absolutely have plans for the future. I'm cursed with thinking ahead & long-term planning in pretty much every aspect of my life & that's certainly true for my fics as well LOL So, the 8.22 fic will be part of a new finale-related series… I’ve got 5 parts in mind. I came up with them all a day or two after the finale in the shower after my huge crying jag & immediately wrote them all down after I got out. I think they'll be good!! Emotional, but good.

After that series is complete, I’d like to take some time to breathe & step away from the finale (not that I haven’t done that already LOL) & take any & all prompts anyone has!! Could be prompts from tumblr, episode related prompts, or just random ideas I have from re-watches or whatever. Idk how long that phase of things will last, but when it’s done - or perhaps alternating with it - I plan to finish my WIPs, starting with Aquamarine. I'm super excited to write the six other AUs I have sketched out for that. I have another part of Facets in mind after Aquamarine that I’m very excited about (I only have a vague idea, but it'll be a big thing, & it's near & dear to my heart), plus there’s Grifting With The Enemy (yes, I know, I’m awful, but I do plan on finishing it!!) & Scripted (fingers crossed). And then I know what I want my last Lizzington fic to be. That’s something I’m keeping to myself for the time being since I don’t know when I’ll end up writing it, but I’ve had it in mind for a long time & I think it would be really neat & tidy way to finish things, whenever the time comes. Although it may not be for a while 😊

cluna you’re literally so cool! you work through them? help couldn’t be me. i get super annoyed and if it’s not working i’ll just let it go and write something else instead shskdhdksk. for instance, i was working on this fic two months ago and i got really far into it when i hit a writers block. so, its just been collecting dusts for months now. a couple days ago i accidentally stumbled upon it and realize the potential it had so i might pick it up sksjdkd. i was literally prepared to just let it rot like so many other fics i write. so yeah idk sometimes i just give up because it’s easier even if it hurts me bc i spent so much time writing them sjshdkdj. yikes.

Lol I know absolutely no one asked but here I am, arbitrarily ranking Kid Krow songs because this is a music blog now apparently and it’s my favorite album so far this year. Feel free to shoot me an ask for any elaboration or other opinions lol. Sorry for the long post. I would add a keep reading but I’m on mobile and the mobile app is somehow worse than the website. I’m also not tagging this so if this gets notes it’s not my fault. Also I’m editing the post em to say that I think this whole album is amazing and it pains me not giving every album a 10/10 bc they’re all so good

Comfort Crowd - 11/10

One of the best album intros I’ve heard compared to other albums I like. It means a lot to me and is overall a really easy song to listen to in basically any mood but is a great pick me up I think it also has one of my favorite lines on the album “you say through a sigh that I said that line already”

Wish You Were Sober - 8/10

A fun song to listen, has some solid lines. Not very relatable in my experiences but that’s also not the point lol. Favorite line(s): “knees weak, but you talk pretty fly, wow” “gettin’ good start saying gotta bounce”

Maniac - 8/10

One word titles are always fun but also -2 for some ableist language. Ik that’s not always at the top of Woke Cultures to do list but it’s a real problem and provides for some cringe vernacular choices sometimes. Overall it’s a pretty good song and is definitely one of the best on the album that’s playable even outside of the album/to people who arent into Conan. Conan apparently describes it as an “upbeat bedroom pop banger” according to genius which I guess, yeah, but what a way to describe a song. Favorite line: “we had magic, but you made it tragic”

(Online Love) - 9/10

First interlude if the album which is very exciting. Very cool idea to say that he thinks this love could be more if it were in person which translates well into current scenarios. Has a really cool guitar pattern and a nice ending. -1 bc it’s 30 seconds long favorite line: “I can’t help but imagine what maybe could’ve happened if we weren’t just an online love”

Checkmate - 10/10

Ik this was released pre-Kid Krow but god it’s one of his best songs and I’m so glad it made it on the album. It’s just got such a good energy about it and I always love chess analogies. And Ik Kid Krow Isnt a concept album by any means but I love the story arc going on of finally catching on. Favorite line(s) “cry me a river till you drown in the lake” “holding your hand but in the other one, baby I’m holding a loaded gun”

The Cut That Always Bleeds - 8/10

It’s overall a great song and is really emotional but -2 bc I ugly cry to this song and get asked if I’m okay a lot lol favorite lines: “I don’t love you anymore” a pretty line that I adore”

“Can’t life another minute bleeding from my back cause I don’t have another one for you to stab”

Fight or Flight - 11/10

What a song. There’s not a lot I can say other than that it’s literally one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard. It’s got some of the most genius song writing that I’ve heard on an album in a while. Also when I was learning to drive with my Nana i had a playlist that would go from Comfort Crowd to Fight or Flight which is an experience I recommend everyone have at least once in their life. My only criticism of this song is that it’s perception of cheating is a lil Disney-channel-esque” which maybe doesn’t make sense and also I’m fairly certain that he writes from personal experience and who am I to say he can’t write what he wants lmao.Favorite line(s) “id rather lie than tell you I’m in love with you” (one of my favorite lines EVER) “they also didn’t know that our lover loved us both.

Affluenza - 7/10

A fun song but is kind of a lot in my opinion and seems vaguely out of touch. However I do agree with the overall sentiment of eating the rich (also if you’re a trinkets fan I think this is a good song for an Elodie playlist or maybe even Tabitha depending on the perspective.) although I will say it’s a really good take on the idea of affluenza as a concept. favorite line “give me none of your affluenza”

(Can We Be Friends) - 6/10

Ik it’s an interlude so it’s kind of the point but definitely a skip most of the time even though I think the line “if anybody fucks with you I’ll knock their teeth out” gods hard. I just think one minute is a really weird time frame for a song. Sub one minute is just short enough to want more and 1:30 and perfectly acceptable for a song but one minute is v awkward

Heather - 10/10

Not amount elaboration would ever be able to perfectly encapsulates how gorgeous the idea of this song is. This idea that you wish you wish you could be someone else because you feel that this other person is otherworldly and is more deserving of the person you love. That feeling is gut wrenching. Favorite line “why would you ever kiss me, I’m not even half as pretty”

Little League - 5/10

I’m so sorry it’s just such a skip. I don’t know why but I can’t listen to this song. It reminds me of a big time rush song for some reason which isn’t a bad thing but every time I try to listen to it I think about how I think it’s a btr copy 😭 also when I do listen to it makes me cry a lot and yearning for a youth that I let waste away and I hate feeling actual feelings so minus points for that. Favorite line “when we were younger we wore our hearts out on our sleeve, why did we ever have to leave? Little league” I think it’s my favorite bc it can be interpreted in a couple of ways and I’m too tired to get into it rn

The Story - 10/10

Simple. Beautiful. One of the first Conan songs I heard. My friend was a huge Conan fan and so I listened to a couple songs like generation why and crush culture but she saw him in concert b4 kid Krow was released and took a video of The Story and I absolutely fell in love. The first time I heard it I sobbed. This idea of paralleling a bunch of failed loves and friendships in order to justify why you think yours will work is so cool and I love it a lot. Favorite line “I’m afraid that’s just the way the world works but I think that it could work for you and me.

Had to wait until I could use the desktop to send this since my tablet screen is busted and i can only see half the keyboard rn, lols. I took a stab in the dark with Shadowrun, it was really popular in the 80s/90s, but has waned for some sad reason. Your AU isn't too far off feel wise! Shadowrun takes place on Earth where, after 10,000 years, magic comes back all of a sudden. Complete with people transforming into various fantasy races to boot. Tech takes a magic boosted leap forward. (1/6)

My personal favorite bit is that North America gets DRASTICALLY restructured (12 year old me grinned for DAYS when I read up on that). There is an excellent animated time lapse map of how all that happens on the wiki on the North_America page, if your interested! Highlights include Hawaii becoming independent and a huge chunk of the US getting reclaimed by the Native Americans! (2/6) Racism both gets better AND worse bc skin color has nothing on whether you’ve got pointy ears, or tusks, now. Mega corporations swiftly gain more power than governments (talk about fiction predicting reality there, right?), to the point where they have private armies. There are a ton of novels of varying quality set in the shadowrun universe, if you’re interested? (3/6)

You managed to capture the same sense of Elite vs Poor that was a theme throughout many of the Shadowrun novels! I really love your alternative to the Zanpakuto, and the picture you pain of all the cybernetics. Yoruichi’s backstory in this verse is FANTASTIC. And I like that we don’t actually get to see much of Kisuke’s past? You get the sense he HAS one though. (4/6) Now, Ichigo? Hoo boy does he EVER have a reason to be pissed. I love it. And I get the feeling he A, did not consent to that augmentation (probably started as a baby) or that invasive mind wipe, and B, his memories aren’t like, backed up anywhere, are they? They’re gone for good bc keeping back ups was too ‘dangerous’. (5/6)  Getting told, 'oh, btw, your our ace in the hole, we stuck you in the Slums for your own protection!’ doesn’t fly when he can recall every dangerous and/or unsavory thing he’s had to do to make sure he and his sisters survived. How many times did he starve so they could eat? How many times did he nearly die with absolutely no hint that anyone would give a damn before he came to trust Kisuke and Yoruichi? Hah, the Ishidas and the Kurosakis dun effed up and there’s gonna be hell to pay. (6/6)

Ooh Shadowrun sounds pretty interesting! I’ll keep it in mind the next time i go to the library, it seems like something I’d enjoy :)

And awesome, at least the AU was vaguely similar to Shadowrun lolol. Honestly Idk much about writing the cyberpunk genre so mostly I was just slipping in words like circuits and upgrades and hoping it sounded legit XD I also wanted to keep Kisuke as this mysterious figure in the Slums, pretty much the only real stable power there even if the upper class doesn’t know it, so I didn’t delve too much into his past, just kept the focus on his present career/life and forward. As for Ichigo, I had a lot of fun with his backstory even if I only outlined a general idea of it. The augmentations would’ve started right from birth, and he was the lucky one who survived all the biological enhancements. The whole not-quite-human & memory wipe angle was a neat solution to why he was on his own in the Slums too, and I hc that he was left there at nine (to vaguely parallel Bleach canon XD) with his two baby sisters and the commands to take care of them and survive in his head. He has the skills to do it but little memory of anything else, and yes his life would’ve been even more difficult before he stumbled on Kisuke’s shop six years later. Being super strong doesn’t mean he can magic up enough food for three anytime he wants, and even if he hadn’t wanted to put Karin and Yuzu first, his directive would’ve forced him to anyway, so he definitely went hungry more than a few times to make sure they got more to eat growing up. And once the Shibas realize that Ichigo’s developed opinions, they’ll def want to wipe him again.

(Kisuke may or may not have found a bio-chip after Ichigo finally let him do regular checkups on him, and you can bet he removed it once he realized what it was. He hadn’t said anything because he had no idea why it would be there in the first place, and he didn’t want to worry Ichigo needlessly, but once the truth comes out, a quiet word to Ichigo only fuels his fury, but at least now there’s no way left for the Shibas to bring their weapon-child to heel.)

Oh definitely!! Part of it probably comes from trickery being part of Being A Thief, but she also feels like as a Demiprince she has a Reputation to uphold, even before the Guild knows that about her. So she wants them to see her as formal and slightly aloof.

Then around Chal (one of Toby's OCs and her best friend aside from Deathcry) she will Occasionally relax and be more chilled out. She even *gasp!* cracks jokes around him!! But there's an unspoken agreement between the two of them that any vulnerability or expressions of affection will Never Be Mentioned Again lmao.

Shes most affectionate around Deathcry, but to be fair she made(?/summoned?) Deathcry when she was Very little so she's been with Sethsa From The Start and has seen every side of her hehe uwu

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts?

She gives thoughtful but small gifts. Things that can be easily hidden away but still mean something dear to whoever she's giving them to. I think being part of the Thieves' Guild would definitely make giving small things like that sort of. Necessary?? Bc 1) you wouldn't want someone to see smthn n try n Yoink it and 2) can be easily hidden in an emergency and 3) doesn't take up valuable space. But also because Sethsa herself doesn't feel comfortable doing big, dramatic things for people so if she's getting someone a gift she'd like to quietly hand it over without making it a Whole Thing.

I think she would also make genuine, Enchanted With Some Daedric Shit, good luck charms to the Guild and her friends. Very practical for Thieves, but also a clear sign that she's looking out for them and wants them to be ok:') It's how she shows she cares, and the Guild knows it. Plus, they love the luck lmao!

Some Random Sethsa Facts too!!!:

-She has a sweet tooth and her favorite snack is bread with honey :3 she lets the honey soak into a bit so it's a little crunchy. If she's feeling REALLY self indulgent, she sprinkles a bit of cinnamon on top 😊

-Feels like it's a Little Weird for a Demiprince to worship Daedric Princes but still shows a great amount of Respect for Boethiah, Mephala, and Azura.

-Related to last: before I solidified her character at all I toyed with the idea of her being Boethiah's Champion!

-Has a really good maternal instinct! One of my first ideas for her was that she kills off Grelod and takes in all the kids at Honorhall (plus the lil dude trying to summon the Dark Brotherhood). Since they all seem to be Interested In Violence she would be delighted to start training them to be sneaky little killers lol. Even now she still loves kids and would never hurt, scare, steal from, etc. a child and also still kills Grelod before giving a shitton of money to Honorhall Orphanage.

-Somewhat related: She definitely has contact with the Dark Brotherhood (when I was first making her I actually had the Brotherhood Sort Of taking her in, with Babette being her favorite auntie) and is even on friendly terms with them!

-HAAAATES the cold. Hates it more than anything. Resents the mere Existence of snow.

-Actually very nervous in Dwemer ruins. And Falmer caves. Stays away from them.

-Terrified of drowning and hates the fact that Riften is just. Water n canals.

-Feels massive amounts of guilt over the Eyes of the Falmer. Hates that the Guild held onto them. Steals them again one night and goes back to where they were taken. Yes that particular cave was destroyed, but not everything else. She leaves them a little ways inside Irkngthand for the Falmer to find. She doesn't know if they care about the Eyes or will do anything with them, but they never should have been taken.

-(Her, Karliah, Brynjolf, and Boltu all snuck past the Falmer. Sethsa wouldn't allow the other three to harm them)

-Doesn't worship the Divines but appreciates the Priests of Mara. Makes anonymous donations to the Temple of Mara occasionally. I think if she met Erandur she'd think he's really cool. :)

-Modern AU! Sethsa loves pop music. Toby and I have joked that she and Chal met at and would go to One Direction concerts together. (She would have been INCONSOLABLE the day they broke up. Bad enough that the Guild collectively wonders if they should try summoning Nocturnal bc they have NEVER seen Sethsa cry) (disclaimer im not making fun of Directioners I cried so much when Daft Punk broke up and made my beef start to listen to their Entire discography with me and the next day I played their Alive 2007 album in the car and SOBBED like. I get it. IF THAT HAD HAPPENED WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER I would have had to be pulled out from school I WOULD NOT function like I Get It.)

-Secretly likes having her hair braided. Karliah braids it occasionally.

-Related: thinks Dwemer braids are sick as fuck but too nervous to admit it

-Also related: When she finally accepts Boltu is Guildmaster and a part of her family, she realizes that at his core he's a good dude with big dad energy. She's not sure how to tell him this so she asks him to braid her hair. She doesn't care if it looks nice or not, this time it's about the Meaning.

-I just think it would be neat if her eyes glowed naturally. No reason for it except glowing eyes r cool as hell.

life update

i’ve been making a lot of random textposts lately but they’re all kinda vague and complainy so i thought i’d write about stuff i’ve done recently

i dyed my hair tips red finally...and it looks really good like better than green actually. i feel like the dye i used will fade fast but i think it will fade to a coral colour which i don’t hate ^^ ill bleach my bangs soon enough but i need to do the math and figure out the ratio of bleach powder to developer

lately i’ve been using twitter through a separate account from my main and i don’t interact with anybody but i like to read threads and whatever its pretty interesting but...there’s so much drama and even though i’m not even involved im already tired of it. i’m pretty much done with tumblr except for this blog but not using twitter anymore either would be really nice...and i never use ig either. one day the only social media apps ill use are texting apps and im looking forward to that. but also how am i gonna get my daily dose of jhope fr my life is kinda lame rn and he makes me happy

i turned my old old 2012 laptop back on so i could play skyrim and its so slow and combat is really hard bc it lags so much which is really unfortunate...but i don’t want to download skyrim onto my new laptop so ill just have to figure out a way to make it faster. i did disk cleanup and defragmenter and hopefully that helps. i think if i allocate more ram to graphics it might be better (or something like that i dont rly remember but ik ur supposed to do it in bios). anyway the laptop is old as fuck and i only used it for games which i barely even play nowadays...although i want to spend my time playing video games instead of social media. i should try to get back into minecraft bc i literally spent like $40 on it... and ttr (i didnt spend money on it but i made a friend like 2 months ago and havent talked to her since....@ her im sorry...)... and i said i wanted to replay portal 2 right

also im trying to write a story. ive had the whole story plotted out for like 3 months but ive only started writing it now and i think i have ~800 words? still on chapter 1 or whatever. writing is really hard bc even starting i felt like “oh this is so cringy wow i’m really writing? a FANTASY story??” but tbh so many ppl write fantasy and its fun seeing people with cool powers doing crazy shit. anyways theres hoes out there writing about the most disgusting shit imaginable so i’m trying to convince myself im not cringe and having a hobby like this is a good thing

i havent really talked to my friends for a while... i guess in actuality its been like a week and a half which is not as bad as it could be but i miss hanging out with my friends in person

i watched the first ep of s2 of bon voyage where they go to hawaii and it made me miss sri lanka so much. like when they landed and walked off the plane i felt so much nostalgia for the air there and just the whole vibe. sri lanka is obvs not the best place in the world but something abt it just hits different. like its just refreshing. i still like toronto tho

id like to go to hawaii one day. and new zealand too. they both seem like really cool places

I GOT SCAMMED $1050

PART 1

Thanks everyone for showing interest in how I got scammed SGD$1050 by my (no longer) close friend/enemy aka Chia Scammer Hean (@chiaheannn). You can contact her if you're feeling rich lately or want to have a first hand experience on how it feels like to get scammed. Due to popular demand, I've decided to write a detailed story about it.

It all started when she called me out of the blue asking about my skin condition which she never did during the whole 5 years I knew her. She only did that when she joined a MLM company known as Elusyf. Well... before that I didn't know she joined one. One day, she suddenly called me to talk about Produce 101 ((HELLO THIS THING CAN DISCUSS OVER GROUP CHAT RIGHT? ITS NOT LIKE IM THE ONLY ONE IN THE CLIQUE WHO WATCHED IT)). Honestly I don't even talk to her on the phone unless I'm asking for her whereabouts during meetups. So for her to call me to talk about a fucking variety show was just damn weird and fishy. Then after a few minutes of conversation, it took her long enough to finally drift to her desired topic: my skin. Knn some people just couldn't get straight to the point 😒😒😒

During the phone call, she asked about my skin condition like she was so concerned LOL, I clearly told her that there was nothing serious about it and I didn't need any recommendations. MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS BITCH. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT I DIDN'T RECOMMEND YOU TO A PLASTIC SURGEON CUZ YOU'RE ONE UGLY FUCK. She was so persistent in making me head down to her friend's office to have a skin consultation by saying that a lot of her friends have seen improvements blah blah and how she also went down recently. LOL tbh I didn't even want to entertain her nonsense but since she was still a close friend that time, I 给她面子.

PART 2

Initially I was so hesitant about going to their office since it was totally at the other end of sg??????? and I told her in advance that I had no intention in purchasing any products if her friend were to introduce me anything. This was what she told me: "Just to find out more about your skin lo". OK but then I had to pay $18 for the consultation. I agreed since she mentioned that it was cheaper than any dermatologist which was true. She always had to emphasize on the fact that there were limited slots and her friend was always busy. LMAO DID SHE EXPECT ME TO GO LIKE "WAAAA OMG SHE SO GOOD UH, OMG FASTER BOOK FOR ME. I MUST MEET HER" 😒 I told her it's fine if there weren't any slots since I was not desperate to attend the consultation ((at that time I also tried to siam a bit)) KNN TRAVEL SO FAR STILL NEED TO SPEND MONEY.

Idk why this bitch refused to tell me the company's exact address until I reached Eunos MRT on that day. Instead she gave me very vague information like "it's at Kaki Bukit" "Meet you at Koufu first". Her excuse was "I scared you lost ah. Later I cannot find bitchy le" ((sorry a lot of people gave me this nickname)) 臭三八, my camp was also in Kaki Bukit so you didn't need to worry about me getting lost and GPS existed for a reason.

Furthermore, she didn't even mention the company's name at all. Scared I do research beforehand sibo? Smart. If I actually knew the company's name and did research prior to the meeting, I could have avoided that mess since there were numerous articles and forums exposing the company's dirty tactics. From my knowledge, she was not a bright person to begin with. So someone must have taught her not to reveal the shady company's name when she joined them.

Fast forward to the day itself, I went down to her friend's office with her at 36 Kaki Bukit Place Level 5 (Take note). Please run for your life if you ever hear this address bc you're about to get scammed. The office was honestly dodgy looking with no company logo at all but then I didn't think much that time. There was this eye-catching red sofa which Scammer Hean mentioned that it was her favourite furniture there. okay LOL. Maybe she needed to scam me so she could afford to buy that red sofa? Possibility.

Both of us waited on the red sofa for her equally-scheming friend to appear. That's when she introduced me to her friend/accomplice, Lucia Mcdonalds (@luciamagdalene now @lucia.mlyy). Don't bother asking me whether they were pretty or not bc they were just ugly fucks. Scammers could never be pretty.

However, I was late for the consultation. #whatsnew right. The consultation had to be cancelled since I couldn't make it on time and they had to reschedule it LOLOLOL. Times like these I'm actually thankful for my punctuality issues if not I would have been scammed another $18 from the consultation as if $1050 wasn't enough for them.

Accomplice Lucia told me that she didn't want me to make a wasted trip so she made me fill up a survey on an iPad about my lifestyle and eating habits. Okay, I thought I could just go home after filling up the dumb survey, BUT NO, she straightaway got started on her MLM brainwashing. She kept promoting her products for a good one hour, I had to admit that she would make a perfect salesperson with the way she described everything but that didn't trigger my decision to get the products. LMAO I gave her an uninterested look throughout the whole time she was explaining the products. What's the point of having dermatologists in SG if her products were so good????? I was very skeptical about it.

In case y'all were wondering what Scammer Hean was doing while Lucia was talking, she basically sat there like a dumb fuck and witnessing how I got scammed. Or learning how to scam people in future like Lucia since she's working for that company too.

Well the products which she was trying to promote were pills that costed $350 per box. She suggested that I had to go through a therapy which needed me to purchase a set of 3 boxes = $1050. Wtf tho she pressurized me to make a decision on the spot, so I gave her a half-hearted "okay".

Part 3

Evil Lucia told me that her office didn't accept credit/debit cards as a form of payment and I had to pay everything in cash. WHO THE FUCK WOULD KEEP $1050 CASH IN THEIR WALLET ESP FOR MY YOUNG AGE. BTW 21 IS STILL YOUNG OKAY. It was my first time hearing that the office didn't accept cards, shouldn't they be a bit more technologically advanced? Even a kopitiam could accept cards. With the amount of money they had scammed from innocent people all these years, weren't those enough for them to at least purchase a NETS machine???

Anyway it was also a good opportunity for me to run away by telling her that I had no cash with me rn and I would come back another day (which I had 0 intention) to pay for it. She forcefully replied with "It's okay there's an ATM near our office building, it's just a 10-min walk". 10-min walk for an ATM?!??!?!?! THATS NOT EVEN NEAR. Not forgetting her iconic statement: "If I can walk for 10mins with these heels, then it shouldn't be a problem for you since you're a guy." Win liao lor then she went into a room which I assumed she took her wallet so she could keep the stack of cash later.

When she entered a room to retrieve her wallet, I secretly hissed ((i hissed cuz she's a snake)) at Scammer Hean and asked her if she also purchased the same $1050 package. Well, she visited the office 1 or 2 week(s) before me. Surprisingly she did and even mentioned that it was damn effective. Honestly I didn't see any difference other than her looking uglier than before. In my mind I was like "smlj this broke ass bitch got money to buy such things meh" LMAO this bitch always complained that she had no money every time our clique hanged out, I wondered where she got that large sum of money from.

But then again, for such a 穷光蛋 to spend $1050 on their products, it could mean something. With a bit of peer influence since she was a close friend (now she's not), that was when I made a final decision to purchase the products. I trusted her a lil too much. AND, I didn't buy bc they were pretty/I liked one of them. SCREW THAT SHIT. YUCKS. Tbh, if she said no, I wouldn't have purchased it. You could call me naive on that part.

Once Lucia was done taking her wallet which she bought with the money she earned from scamming people, we left the office building and headed towards another office building which had an ATM machine. I swear it wasn't just a 10-min walk. Must be the weight of guilty conscience on them which caused them to walk so fucking slow. While walking to the ATM, Lucia tried to be relatable and friendly by striking a conversation with us, which I killed it every single time LOL. The more she tried to talk, the more I killed the conversation. Eventually we reached the ATM.

Don't ask me why but I also had no idea how I withdrew the $1050 in stacks of $50 notes so easily. I didn't have any second thoughts before doing so too. The moment I withdrew it I passed the cash to Lucia instantly. And as usual, Scammer Hean was just a useless fuck who stood there like a fucking statue. As a close friend, she should have at least asked me to reconsider purchasing the products or withdraw the $1050 right???? Sadly she didn't. Her mind was probably thinking about the commission she was going to receive from the $1050. Greedy bitch.

Part 4A

Anyway now that we were back in the office, Scammer Hean and I waited on the red sofa while Lucia entered a room for god-knows-how-long ((probably to hide in a corner to count the cash)) I could totally imagine Lucia walking into the room like "WOOHOOOO I SUCCESSFULLY SCAMMED A VICTIM" then opened a bottle a champagne to celebrate her success. CB IF NOT WHY SHE TOOK SO LONG INSIDE.

The wait felt like years and it finally took her long enough to drag her fucking slow ass out of the room together with the 3 boxes of pills. I told her I was already in a rush to meet my friend for dinner so the fake doctor aka Lucia briefly told me how many pills to take a day and the side effects of the pills. Step professional only LOL. She also tried to settle on another consultation date which I missed on the day.

Before leaving, she had to take this really hideous photo of me which she said "a before picture" to compare next time. Basically a way for her to assure me that I could see the improvements in future. I stood DIRECTLY below the fluorescent lights for the photos but then the lighting and angles were so bad that even the most handsome person in the world would look like a toad. Knn the previous time I had taken such a fucking ugly photo was in the Korea customs. I felt like she purposely had to take an ugly photo so that I would feel the need to consume her pills in order to see improvements.

The first thing I did when I reached home was to do research on the brand of the overpriced pills which I just bought earlier in the day. Out of curiosity, I searched up the company's name on Google and a few articles of people getting scammed by Elusyf popped up on the first page of the search results. I could easily ignore it if it was just one bad article but honestly there were way too many for me to avoid. As I continued to dig even further by reading forums and Reddit, I obviously got more than what I wanted. Just like the saying goes "Curiosity kills the cat" I THINK I GOT KILLED FOR A MOMENT TOO.

I almost had a mental breakdown after realizing that I got scammed by my own friend. Of course the first thing I had to do was to get my money back, I knew it was impossible to get the full amount refunded but even if it was just 1/3 I would be contented. So I immediately gave Scammer Hean a call to tell her that I was left with only $200 in my bank account and I needed a refund asap by returning two boxes of pills first. I couldn't straightaway expose her as I didn't want to risk having 0 chances of negotiation. So in order not to make things suspicious, I told her that I would purchase the other two boxes when I had the money ((LOL BITCH NO))

She helped me to discuss the situation with Lucia but she needed to know when's the next time I could get the second box. Scammer Hean: "Eh should be next month right cause you got ns pay mah" THEN SHE GAVE ME THE CB 欠打 ACT CUTE "LOL" STICKER ON TELEGRAM WHICH REALLY MADE ME WANT TO SEND A FLYING SLAP TO HER FACE. DO YOU THINK I EARN A LOT FROM MY NS PAY?!?!?!??! I just told her that I should only be able to buy the second box on the following month. As usual, this nosey bitch asked why I needed that much money.

Part 4B

Wa kaypoh af. I had to come up with another convincing yet fake excuse to make it sound extremely urgent by mentioning that I was helping my friend with her mum's operation fees. This fugly bitch couldn't stop questioning me like what type of operation she was getting, etc. OK SHUT UP. THAT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. I swear she didn't need to know so much bc a dumb and useless bitch like her wouldn't be helpful in any way. Her only worth as a human being was to inform Lucia to contact me asap.

Lucia was SO FUCKING FAST in calling me back bc I waited 2hrs for her call 😒 I bet that she was planning on what to say before she called me. She sounded extremely hesitant as she spoke to me with lots of "ummm" and "ahhh" in between her sentences. I guess she had never encountered a customer who wanted a refund, so she didn't have a script to follow? She told me that a refund would be hard since the transaction had already been processed when I paid her just now, thus it would be troublesome for her to do the paperwork for refund.

However, the 假好心 Lucia could help me by keeping a box first and refund me with her own money but I needed to sign a document in her office which stated that I had to return her the $350 by next month. UH WHY THE FUCK WOULD I DO THAT. IN THE END I AM STILL LOSING THAT MONEY WHAT. But either way I agreed to it, what I thought of doing was to tear the documents in her face immediately after she handed me my $350. ((LOL xiao dramatic ymy)) I swear I had thoughts of slapping her ugly face and calling a police down to her office but thats too much drama for me to handle in a day. I didn't and would never tell my mum about the incident bc she was dealing with my problematic sister, so I didn't want her to worry even more. In the past my mum had always reminded me not to trust people too easily even for close friends, now I truly know why.

Did I get the refund from Lucia? NO. The initial plan was to meet her in the Kaki Bukit office at 8pm on Tuesday ((3 days after I got scammed)) but on the day itself, she gave me a text saying that she would only be free at 9pm. Smlj so last minute. Maybe her plan was to drag the timing till it was unfavourable for me and it worked. Since I was always released from the camp at 6pm and the office was just 15 mins away from my camp, no one in the right mind would wait for 3hrs. Moreover, my house is in Jurong. Don't bother asking me to go home and wait first. So I decided to cancel the meetup.

Trying to be (sym)pathetic, Ugly Scammer Hean also gave me a call by mentioning that she could help me keep a box first and pay her back when I got the money. I told her that I couldn't pay her back that soon but she said it was fine since the pills could be kept up to 3 years OKAY LOL THEN YOU SHALL KEEP THEM. My plan was to let her keep the pills and refuse to pay her back 💁💁💁💁💁💁 On the day when I was supposed to meet her ((JUST ONE DAY AFTER SHE CALLED ME)) to get my cash back, she suddenly told me that she didn't have the cash with her. HUH HELLO?!?!??!?!? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME IN ADVANCE. YOU THINK I WANT TO MEET YOU MEH? ITS ALL ABOUT $$$$$$$$$$$ FUCKER. KNN PLAN BACKFIRED, BITCH HAS NO MONEY NOW AND NEVER WILL. LOL.

                     Why didn't I call the police? I paid the full amount of $1050 in cash and no receipt was given. UGH THE AMOUNT OF STUPIDITY IN ONE SENTENCE. Since everything was paid in cash, there was no proof of transaction. I finally realised why the office didn't accept cards as a form of transaction. There was no receipt to prove that I purchase directly from them too. FUCK I AM SCREWED.

Here are some tips on how to avoid getting scammed by MLM companies:

1) Do not have friends. If you have no friends, no one will contact you right? Logic.

2) Friends/acquaintances (perfect example: your poly or secondary school classmates) whom you have not talked to for months/years and they suddenly contacted you asking about your well-being.

They prioritized calls rather than texts. Why? Speedy responses; a typical person doesn't need more than 2 mins to pick up a phone call, but he/she could take up to hours to reply a simple text message. So, if you're not interested they could quickly move on to the next target without wasting too much time on you. They just wanted to scam you asap. From what I have heard from a friend who used to work for the same company (Elusyf), the company actually made the scammers list out all of their contacts in an excel sheet ((probably easier for them to track those they have not called)).

Part 5

Notice how scammers were always using the same generic format like "Hey how are you doing? Long time no chat" Then they would talk to you about random stuff before getting to their main topic. Those people eventually tried to meet up with you individually for a "meal". ((LOL I'm sorry for those who genuinely want to catch up with you.)) That's when he/she would bring you to his/her office to meet the mentor. They were taught to do that btw.

It's easier for them to brainwash you when you're alone since you're more vulnerable. They might try and push you into making a decision very quickly without giving you a chance to think about it, claiming that you need to for you to get the “special price”.

Avoid meeting up at places like Eunos or Kaki Bukit. However, that is just for Elusyf's office. There are other more MLM companies located at different parts of SG too. Read up on MLM in Reddit (https://www.google.com.sg/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/singapore/comments/5ss4k1/share_your_pleasantunpleasant_experiences_with/), you will realise how fucked up these compaines are.

Poly students and NSFs are the common targets. Especially NSFs who could be easily smitten by their female friend's sweet words and smiles that influence them to get the products OR join the company. No, you're not gonna get dat pu$$y by doing them a favour so dream on.

3) Anything that sounds too good to be true, trust your instincts. The reason why those scammers joined a MLM company bc they were promised to achieve results and fast profits within a short span of time. Sounds easier than a part time job right? However, they are just the downline of this pyramid scheme so nobody knows when they will actually start earning money. In short, they are just being greedy and unrealistic. Well.... either by joining the company or buying their products, you're still getting scammed. Just take up a legitimate part time job, will y'all???

I was left stranded with 3 boxes of ambiguous pills which I didn't know what to do with them. I really considered throwing all of them straight into the bin but my other friends suggested that I consume them since I've already paid for the products. I FORCED MYSELF TO CONSUME NOT BECAUSE I WANTED TO SEE (NON-EXISTENT) RESULTS BUT BC I PAID A HEFTY SUM FOR THEM. The recommended dosage was one pill a day but I decided to overdose by taking 2 so I could die faster and stop thinking about my money.

So y'all might be wondering why I am only exposing her rn since this incident happened a few months ago. Apparently after scamming the innocent boy (me) on 17 June 2017, I assumed that she would at least feel remorseful for doing so to a close friend but no. She still had the cheek to tell others that we were friends of 5 years. TSK. Sometime in July, she attempted to contact her poly friends for the same old shit. The people she contacted include some whom she wasn't even close to begin with. Well someone has to put a stop to this bitch so I am going to expose her nasty ass to everyone 🐍🐍🐍🐍 It angered me how she continued to scam people even after I exposed her to our clique. In Part 7, I will be talking about how she tried to defend herself on her actions.

Now that I am $1050 lesser, it is definitely a painful and expensive lesson for me. I learnt it the hard way by not trusting anyone too easily in future. Every time I checked my bank balance, there were so many "What ifs" going through my mind. I was hoping that everything was just a nightmare but it's not. I had sleepless nights since the day I got scammed, I swear it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. It was so hard to get rid of the incident from my mind no matter how optimistic I tried to be. In a fit of anger, I made a decision to cut contacts with Scammer Hean; I blocked her everywhere— Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Whatsapp, Snapchat and even phone calls. NOTE: I didn't block her from my main Instagram account.

Part 6

Honestly, she fucked up as a person. Firstly she targeted my flaws and insecurities so that she could make money out of it. I am genuinely disappointed with how she sacrificed her close friends when it comes to making fast money ((she didn't earn any, from what I know)) despite the 5 years of friendship. Apparently she also brought another friend from the same clique to the office using the same method. Luckily the other friend was smart enough not to purchase the $1050 package but she got the $55 masks instead. It clearly showed that Scammer Hean didn't mind losing friends as long as she could earn her money. Moreover, it was so heartless of her to scam a NSF without batting an eye. HELLO, DO WE LOOK LIKE WE ARE EARNING AT LEAST $1K+++ MONTHLY????? In fact we only earned close to half of that.

Please don't get yourself involved in this MLM bullshit, people who joined the company would never experience any positive outcomes. The people benefitting from MLM are those at the top level of the pyramid scheme.

This shameless bitch had the audacity to tell others that I was interested in attending the consultation. Bruh you were so persistent in forcing me to go. Don't make me upload the screenshots of the chats. BUT IM STILL GOING TO UPLOAD IT ANYWAY SINCE SHE HATED IT. HAHAHAH BOOO LOSER.

For those ((esp guys)) who defended her by saying that she wasn't this type of person in sec sch/poly. Sorry to burst your bubble, people change anytime they want, so are their priorities. Well to Scammer Hean, money is more important than friendship now.
