In my head the Queendom is very much like the UK, Riddle’s accent is very posh where as Ace’s for example is heavier and less posh. This has to due with them growing up in different areas and also Riddle just generally being more well-spoken

Riddle is very gender… genfluid Riddle is a headcanon I’ve had for a while. In my head Heartslabyul refers to their housewarden as “Queen” as a gender neutral term (Think Valkyrie from the Thor films being referred to as the King despite using she/her pronouns, it’s like the inverse of that for Heartslabyul), but I have this whole train of events in my head of Riddle coming to NRC and being referred to in a more feminine light, and despite it being looked at as a gender nuetral term/tradition, Riddle sort of takes it to heart and realizes that they’re not as cis as he once thought lmao

I think it was probably a similar train of events that let her to realize they’re bi, I’ve written WIPs in which Floyd was his bi awakening and others in which it was a pre-NRC realization.

(And now we get into the really random stuff, just the random BS that I’ve been hoarding in my brain for the past however long I’ve been into Twst lmao) Riddle really likes rollercoasters. I can see Floyd or Trey taking him to an amusement park and Riddle being very nervous/scared to get on the coasters but ends up loving it, I imagine she’s a big fan of anything that makes you feel “free.”

They try to cook/bake… they try so hard… but no matter how much Trey helps him, it always comes out burnt or otherwise messed up. She can probably make simple things, like cookies or simple soup recipes, but anything more complicated than that and the entire kitchen is in flames lmao

Afraid of needles but wanted to honor the Queen of hearts tradition of extravagant earrings. Cater pierced their ears for them and she cried <3333

I need to write this as an actual fic (1) cuz it’s a cute idea in my head but Floyd was one of the first people Riddle said smth to abt being Less Than Cis, and Floyd is just Riddlesexual atp so he’s like “oh, swag. Wanna make out?” After Riddle goes on a half hour rant abt their gender crisis. This one fic “Queen’s Tea” by princesscas on Ao3 is rlly sweet and is where a lot of my genfluid Riddle HC comes from, I recommend to any Florid shippers

Definitely listens to 3oh!3 and similar bands. If you put on the song “everywhere I go” by Hollywood undead on in front of this MF he will sing every word. Riddle hates this

Designated bug killer of the basketball team. Jamil ain’t doing it and Floyd isn’t either just so he can piss off Jamil. Sometimes Ace is a shit about it though, he kills the bugs every time but often times will be annoying about it, whether that be whining or shoving it Jamil’s face

Once ate so much cherry pie during an unbirthday party that he threw up, everyone expected him to not be able to stomach cherry pie anymore but he immediately went in for another slice after he came back from being sick

Looks odd from an outside perspective compared to the rest of the track and field team. Obviously Jack is the biggest guy on the team, but the rest of the team are still quite muscular/tall. Deuce is very muscular for his height, but he is still short compared to the rest of the team. He sometimes gets picked on for it, but Jack always defends him (And no one wants to fuck with Jack because he’s like 6’4 and built like a fucking excavator)

When he found out where eggs come from as a kid he definitely cried. He probably still feels bad about it every time he eats them.

There’s plushies and books and other random shit all over the floor, Riddle says his room is a tripping hazard (to which Cater responds with ‘your shoes are a tripping hazard ;P;)”

Used to be housewarden before Riddle. Became housewarden in their freshman year and only kept the title for about a year before Riddle came in, at first he was salty but he made fast friends with Riddle due to already being close with Trey.

Always wanted piercings growing up, especially after seeing all of Leona’s, but never had the money to get them done. Leona did his lip piercing for him in his freshman year, aaaaaand it got infected, but they fixed it! Eventually

His relationship with Leona starts as a purely business thing, with Ruggie needing cash and Leona needing someone to do his dirty work, but it becomes a more wholesome dynamic, somewhere in the range of a friendship (though Leona would never admit that). Leona has money to spare so he pays Ruggie a lot more than the tasks are worth, and Leona has even said a few times that Ruggie doesn’t have to work for him as hard as he does, but Ruggie says he still wants to help out. Leona also buys Ruggie stuff a lot, like clothes or jewelry he likes, since Ruggie can’t afford it himself. Leona treats the spelldrive team to a nice dinner out once in a while, too.

Loves to annoy Leona on social media, and just people in general. His twitter handle is some shit like “2kool4school900” and he bombards everyones feed with stupid shit every chance he gets

Absolute besties with Kalim and Silver, but is also quite close with Jamil. He’s really the only person that’s good friends with both the Scarabia duo, so he knows all about both sides of the story.

Initially Ruggie felt sort of guilty about it when he realized he liked Kalim, considering how far the divide is with them socially. Turns out Floyd came off a lil too strong and made a bad impression, so now he’s constantly trying to get Riddle’s attention to make up for the fact they probably hate him

Lots of scars from fishermen cuz he’s the more outgoing/confrontational one that always tries to defend against the fishermen. In my HC, and this ties into Azul hiding away so much, octopus merfolk are considered delicacies. In fact, merfolk in general are considered quite tasty to humans, so the octotrios had a lot of encounters over their years. Floyd just happens to sustain the most injuries cuz he’s Floyd.

Has a bunch of piercings, he got them for the same reason he started growing his hair out, to have something about himself he could control (Idk if that reasoning for his long hair is even canon or if I just pulled that out of my ass). He’s the reason Kalim got the few piercings that he has. Jam has snake bites, labret, both eyebrows, bridge, nose stud, and septum (which I forgot to edit in lmao) also tongue piercing

Has a lot of scars, not just on his face. He’s gone through a lot and done a lot to keep Kalim safe, a lot of it leaving them injured. He’s not self conscious of the scars persay, but he does hate people asking questions about them.

Plays guitar… idk why… he just does

Plays video games with the basketball team sometimes, he had a long streak of kicking their asses until Floyd beat him in Mario kart one day and he has not forgiven him. The two now have an ongoing rivalry when it comes to video games

I go a tiny bit into my HC for the basketball trio dynamic in my fic “butterscotch”, but I’m gonna elaborate on it a bit here. Jamil didn’t plan to make friends when he joined basketball, kind of adopting the “hot loner guy” persona. He didn’t hang around anyone in his freshman year, but Floyd kinda picked on him specifically for a while. Floyd and him kinda became friends-ish in their freshman year, Jamil didn’t want to admit that anyone was their friend, but did hang out w Floyd a good bit. Floyd and Ace made friends come the next year and Jamil ends up roped into their friendship and thus the trio is born, Jamil finds them both annoying but still plays video games w them and hangs around them after practice.

Considers Ruggie the closest thing they have to a “best friend”, will claim up and down that he doesn’t have one but those two have been hanging around each other since freshman year and got closer after GloMas. Jamil was a little salty when Ruggie started basically dating their boss, but considering Ruggie was still working at Mostro when Jamil and Azul got together, Jamil basically did the same thing.

Woo Transmasc projecting time! Jamil went stealth for as long as possible, Kalim being literally the only person at NRC that knows, and Jamil intended to keep it that way. They told Azul when they started dating and Ruggie eventually, and decided he was content with that and even three was too much for comfort. Kalim runs his mouth and can’t keep secrets so Jamil was always weary even if he knew Kalim would never deliberately out him. Eventually, (and imma be vague abt this despite having an entire story in my head bcuz I might write this as a fic(4))Ace, who’s also a stealth trans guy, gets outed to the basketball team. Floyd and Jamil take it upon themselves to deal with anyone who’s an asshole about it, despite Ace’s insistence that he doesn’t need help. The team for the most part doesn’t care, but a few are weird abt it as well as a few ppl outside of the team. Jamil doesn’t tell Ace that he’s also trans immediately considering Ace just got outed and Jamil’s being cautious, but he tells him after a little time has passed and the two get a bit closer over it. Floyd finds out about Jamil eventually too

His music taste is very varied. He seems like the kinda guy who broods and listens to boyloser bands, and he is, but like his top artist was also probably like Gwen Stefani or some shit

Then Leona doesn’t show up to the housewarden meeting one day (prolly overslept) and Vil was like… hey… why do I kind of miss his stupidity… then over the course of a few weeks gets to “guys… Leona might be hot” until eventually Vil falls and is NOT happy about it. I probably should’ve included this in Leona’s part but I’m too lazy to go back up, Leona’s realization wasn’t as conflicting… they just were kinda like “Vil’s a bitch” -> “Vil’s a bitch I actually wouldn’t mind kissing” -> “Vil’s a bitch and I am madly in love with him”. Only thing deterring Leona from Vil was Rook…

After a while Rook just stopped letting him cook but like in a passive aggressive way. Basically the “fresh off the grill!” “Was the grill turned on, beloved?” Kinda thing

Looks up to Leona a lot. He was initially doubted by the Savanaclaw/spelldrive guys cuz he’s so small, but he proved himself very quickly. Leona’s super proud of him and praises him more than most of the other kids, and Epel is kind of an honorary Savanaclaw member, he respects Vil as a housewarden but just doesn’t think he’s the right housewarden for him. He feels more himself/comfortable with Leona, like he can talk in his accent and not hide anything around him. The dynamic got a bit more awkward when Leona and Vil started dating, but Leona overall understood Epel’s confliction and vowed to never expose any secrets that Epel wanted away from Vil.

He was stealth for a while w being trans, he told Jack first at NRC, then Vil and Rook, then Leona, then eventually it spread until most of the school knows. It has mixed reception, but considering the knowledge also comes with the knowledge of who’s on his side has been beneficial cuz most average nrc assholes aren’t looking to get beat up by Leona Kingscholar on a Thursday afternoon

Epel was getting generally dysphoric around the whole VDC thing and this is how he came to find out Rook is also trans, and by extent, Jamil and Ace. So they had their little support group which is such a cute idea I need to write it (5), I’m not realizing fully until now how trans-saturated the VDC crew is in my HC lmao

Quick summary if u don’t wanna read the fic (YOU SHOULD):

Idia and Cater met online (specifically through discord in the fic) and became very close over texting, Idia developing a slight crush on Cater over text. The kicker is, they don’t know each other’s identities cuz both their discords are anonymous. Idia gets cornered by IRL-Cater and texts Discord-Cater that they’ve been cornered by the school extrovert and IRL-Cater’s phone dings, queue escapades and denial and Idia falling for IRL-Cater (yes it is literally this image) and it’s absolutely perfect I love idikei

Ok I’ll stop dickriding this one fic and move on to general Idia headcanons

Idk if I should’ve put this in Azul’s segment but I’m here so whatever. Board games club is such a fucking hilarious dynamic I love them. Azul’s tryna pull off some sort of convoluted scheme for some of that Shroud money and then Idia is just “can you stop being a capitalist for five fucking seconds so we can play Uno?”

Continuing with board games club, Azul was one of the first people at NRC that Idia actually became friends with. They kind of kept to themselves in freshman year board games club, not interacting with anyone but ortho and if someone wanted to play a game with them and they’d only talk if it was required by the rules of the game then promptly leave. But Azul shows up the next year and actually at least vaguely understands Idia (likely due to having grown up a very antisocial/sit in the corner alone kid himself) so they take it at a slower pace but build a strong friendship. They’re sort of each other’s mutual third party since their lives and social circles don’t really intertwine so they can always get a nuetral perspective on their respective dramas via each other. I imagine Idia was keystone in helping Azul realize he’s very gay for Jamil (Azul rambles abt Jamil for 10 mins and Idia takes a very long and drawn out sip of their drink and says “Sevens, was I this annoying in my pre-Cater arc?”)

On the topic, Jamil has become roped into this. It was definitely a mutual friend situation at first but I have this whole scene in my head of Idia running into someone in an online video game (in my heart it’s Splatoon bcuz its a running joke w my friend that Jamil plays Splatoon but that isn’t relevant here) with a Jamil-esque username and texting Azul like “this ur mans?” Then eventually Jamil unfortunately joins the gamer team and becomes something akin to friends with Idia… honestly crackfic material I should write tha- *sounds of me dragging myself off camera* (6)

Owns a maid dress. Has never worn it, has never had an opportunity to wear it, no one knows about it. But they have it. For emergencies.

Their hair emotions range way farther than red=angry and pink=flustered. In my head/heart, every emotion has a hair color. It starts by changing color at the tips then the whole thing turns to the color the stronger the emotion. I will attempt to explain the colors best of my ability

Red/orange = Angry

Pink = Flustered

Green = happy/excited (happy is a more mintish blue green and excited is a more lime green)

Purple = scared

darker blue = sad (darkens the sadder they get, turns black if they get really bad)

i made a post a bit ago about a friend i have (they don't have tumblr) and how they ramble on about their likes but never really care about mine (keep in mind that i literally don't care about their likes)

so anyway i wrote a poem about it at 11pm last night i'm that friend the one you can count on the one that’ll make you feel better the one that'll crack you up i'm that friend

but “that friend” is my title  and no one else has it

so i’ll be the friend to be interrupted to be forced to walk behind the others to hear your voice but no one will ever hear mine

and the saddest part is- i’m used to it. i’ll help you feel better on a dark and gloomy day but you’ll never do the same for me

and it’s not because you’re insensitive (although sometimes you are) it’s because i internalize i keep it all inside contained by a mere barrier

and sometimes all the pent-up worry and rage and fear will break the dam and flood out in a big flurry

and i can’t explain it because you’ll forget in an instant

remember when i showed you a new book? i was so excited to share and all you said was an insensitive “cool” moved on without a glance back at me

how might i feel? i listen to your angsty messages i try to help not that it always works but the minute i try to include something interesting to me i’m shot down

you ramble for ages about things i never understood your “wrestling” and “jiu jiustu” aren’t even remotely fun to listen to and yet i hear your voice i listen.

but when i talk about mythology and reading and a picture i drew the other day you forget. it's like i never uttered a word.

so i’ll be that friend to hear your voice to help brighten your day

GranEssex Live Konoa Reaction (part 1)

Henlo I am deciding to do a live reading of @kachikirby ‘s series GranEssex Chronicles

I’m gonna try and go through the entire series, starting with the first book, “Wings of Beginning”

This is my first full-on live blogging(?) post, so idk if theres any way I should be doing it but f*ck it we ball

Anyway there’s a lot of text so behind a cut it goes!

(SPOILER WARNING cuz i’ll also be talking about what goes down in the book to give context for my ramblings)

Chapter 1

Note: Gonna try to use punctuation for now but this will probably disintegrate as time goes on (me hate punctuation on tumblr blog ooga booga). Also this live blog is pretty summary-heavy, but I’ll try to tone that down in future posts.

I’ve technically read up until chapter 4, but I’m gonna go ahead and backtrack to look over the previous chapters again and give my reaction on those :D it would feel weird to just start it halfway through anyway. The chapter opens up with Kurabe (if u don’t know who that is you should probably go check out Kachi’s account) going on a mission to eliminate a criminal group only to see that everyone’s just been absolutely bodied by some blue toddler with a stick. Kurabe’s like, “hey I need to take u in for questioning” and the kid is like “nuh uh” and tries clubbing her to death, but obviously Kurabe is stronger so she just blocks him. Even though I was only, like, two sentences in, my attention was already grabbed; I was very excited to see what happened next :D Anyway, Kurabe gets one of her swords knocked out of her hand by the kid, and she’s just like “ah.” But then she teleports behind him and chops him in the back of the head with her hand, causing the kid to faint. I was kinda surprised that she just knocked him out like that, but I guess it makes sense because she had a job to do lmao. Anyway she gets back to her ship and Mercury is there and, upon seeing the child, is just like “HUH”. Kurabe says that he’s fine and only has minor injuries, so she goes to her room to patch him up a little. She wondered why someone would leave their kid on a planet with so much criminal activity, and I honestly agreed because I was just as confused 💀 who leaves a whole toddler on the planetary equivalent of Detroit??? Insane, bro. So anyway she cleans him up and after he wakes up, Kurabe says good morning to him and the kid just immediately goes

Anyway, Kurabe tells him to calm down and asks his name, to which the child responds, “Meta.” It was pretty much implied from the start that this was Meta Knight, but I was still like “OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ITS HIM” Anyway cue Meta being suspicious of Kurabe and Kurabe trying her best to calm him down. I’m watching this whole interaction go down and honestly wondering if Meta’s just gonna straight up maul Kurabe, but thankfully he doesn’t. Kurabe’s maternal urges start taking over and she offers to raise Meta- err, I meannn… train him (because I can’t imagine it would be good to send him back to space Detroit 💀) and Meta asks if he can stay on her ship forever. Kurabe is like “yeah sure” and then after talking, she helps show him around his new room and then they sit down and have a meal together. The image of Meta playing with the spaghetti was really cute :D Meta makes mention of Kurabe’s sword and Kurabe tells him that she’d train him. However, she did warn him that he training was so intense that students have quit or even DIED because of it (which is…. Scary /not neg). He agrees to the training. Meta then got kinda tired so he went to go to sleep, and as Kurabe was tucking him in, he grabs onto her and they end up falling asleep together :DD Overall this was a very cute chapter and it does a great job of grabbing the attention.

4k video downloader

process:

using 4k downloader i download youtube clips ( i always download the highest quality so 1080p or 4k) 

then i use handbrake to convert files 

the tutorial for handbrake can be found here (also includes a screenshot of photoshop when uploading the video - file > import > video frames to layers) + always make sure the box that says ‘limit to every 2 frames’ goes unchecked otherwise your gifs will skip frames and look choppy!

if taking screencaps for your gif i’ll refer you to this tutorial :) -they also have added detail so i recommend looking here anyway!

next, in photoshop: window > animation which will turn your video into a frame timeline 

(for this next part it gets kind of tricky so i’ll link another tutorial with pictures it’ll just be easier to follow and i’m not the best at explaining loll) 

here's an explanation with pictures on how to convert your gif into a video timeline and sharpen all frames at once! (i’m only linking this for the sharpening and timeline tutorial i don’t do my coloring or the extra stuff op did)

i also (personally) sharpen at amount 500, radius 0.4 / +noise to get it extra crispy, but i only do it for large gifs. small gifs should use 500, radius 0.3

I think it’d be easier to list all the things it doesn’t mean to me than the things it does lmao

but fr, BIG was the video that got me here in the first place. I remember seeing it and all the hype—I knew who dnp were at the time, but all I’d be able to tell you at the time was it was a pretty big deal he was coming out. BIG is so well-written, well-presented, it drew me in right away. I clicked for the fact that a lot of people were talking about it; I came out of it wanting more.

So I got more. So I started with Dan’s vids, especially stuff similar to BIG like Trying to Live My Truth, and was pretty much hooked right away. Didn’t take long to end up on Phil’s channel too, +dnpg. Consumed it all like mad.

So I logged into my old unused tumblr for the first time in maybe 6 or 7 years and started following. That action alone has done me so so much good.

When BIG came out I was 20. I was knee-deep in the “trying to figure out who I am” shit. More specifically, I was trying desperately to ditch the younger version of myself, the fucking redditor since I was like 10, surrounded by misogyny, who “wasn’t like other girls” (even if I’d never say it aloud). I was trying to allow myself to be a woman in a world that despises and mocks anything woman-centric. I was coming out of a lifelong depression for the first time after a decade of almost total apathy, and frankly, I was learning how to handle emotions again.

BIG kicked me in the stomach. In a good way. I cried. I didn’t know this man and I cried. It helped me realize that I love learning about other peoples’ experiences, ones that I may never have, and how wonderful it is to be able to share our lives with the world in this way and learn about each other’s unique perspectives. I especially love (and relate to) the way Dan explains things so meticulously. I was rediscovering passion after having lost it for so long; BIG helped bring some of it back to me.

I got into the phandom here, something teenage me would have absolutely cringed at myself for. Even though I’d never dare judge anyone here for liking what they like, I didn’t know how to give myself that same grace. After what, five? years here, now I’ve finally been able to allow myself to enjoy what I like. The amazing community I’ve found myself in has been such a catalyst for this, and I’d never have gotten here without BIG.

So yeah. BIG’s pretty good. I used to watch it every day at work while prepping Pizza Hut pastas. I used to watch it as I tried to stave off a depressive episode, sitting in the bath eating candy, desperate for any happiness at all, before I got my ADHD diagnosis and meds. It never failed to make me laugh too cuz frankly, its funny moments are great. That bit where he looks at the tag of his jacket and it says HIGHLY FLAMMABLE gets me every single time. I live for dinof-related jokes. (And tbh, as aforementioned, being on reddit for so long, seeing shitty watercolour come so far puts a smile on my face too.)

They’re a half mer, which do work a lil different than normal mers in my lore. Half mers can transform without a potion but it’s still a long and generally painful process, esp going from mer to human. I kind of switch between calling them a snake mer and a naga but there’s lore there- Nagas exist in my lore outside of sea snake mers, there are also fully terrestrial Nagas. So the terrestrial nagas wouldn’t be considered snake mers but the sea snake nagas would be a type of mer while also still being a naga ITS CONFUSING DONT ASK (actually do. Ask everything so I can roll more of my fankids out like marbles)

Skye was created by a spell, I haven’t quite worked the details out 😔 but Jamil is part gorgon in my lore which is why they have the hair snakes which isn’t a typical naga trait. And to elaborate on the hair snakes: they are alive, the one w the bigger stripes is Flora and the smaller stripes is Jett. Skye can communicate w them telepathically and their eyes glow which is kinda neat. They’re kind of Skye’s version of floatsam and jetsam (unless u count Rico (florid) and Lilac (treyjade) which is like their ver of the twins- IDK ITS COMPLICATED)

idk what else to put here so LETS THROW SOME FHARACTER DYNAMICS YEAH and also mentioning some of my other fankids! They all have profiles (except my Malleus kid I’m sorry Aihan I can’t think of a design for you) but I’m probably gonna save those for another post-

So jamiazu in my lore live in the Shaftlands in a beachfront place and also live pretty close to Treyjade, however Florid live in the Queendom. The octatrio and their spouses is a close group so they’re essentially a big family. My treyjade kids are Maren (older) and Lilac, then my Florid kids are Rico (older) and the twins Mary and Eliza.

Skye saw Lilac more as a kid cuz they lived so close together but also saw Rico a lot when flrd would visit or they’d go to visit them. Rico is an agent of chaos and Lilac is Skye’s 2nd in command so their dynamic on a surface level is pretty similar to the octatrio, but there’s still a lot of differences once u get into the meat of it. Tho Lilac and Rico are Skye’s best friends and basically like siblings to them.

Outside of jamiazu Skye is particularly close with Jade, they share a love of tea :) he’s their cool but also slightly unsettling uncle

THEN THERES SHENZI- Shenzi is my younger kaliruggie kid and I am not gonna get into her here bcuz she rlly needs her own post w all her trauma but good lord these two do not like each other. Shenzi’s really nice but she’s not quite as nice as Kalim so after about 5 months of trying and failing to befriend Skye in their freshman year she just gave up and now their relationship is nothing but hostile (which was not helped when Shenzi and lilac started dating)

Speaking of that tho- so my idikei kids :) Ember (named after the pokemon attack) is the older one and he’s basically that “Jock idia can’t hurt you he’s not real Jock idia:” thing as a person he has the Fire hair n shit but he plays basketball and is heavily extroverted but no one gives a shit abt Ember this is NOT ABT HIM this is abt his sister! Her name is Zelda because you know Idia would name his daughter Zelda- she got all of Idia’s social anxiety lmao. She’s extremely shy and there’s a total of like 4 people in the school she can actually talk to without melting into a small stain on the floor. She’s an Skye are both in board games club and sometime in early freshman year she falls on her ass and knocks over a bunch of stuff which Skye happens to witness and cue the most awkward interaction known to man bcuz Skye can’t talk to pretty girls and Zelda can’t talk to ANYONE but they end up walking to the mirror hall together afterwards which becomes a routine. Except they’re both awkward as fuck take like almost two fucking years to get together bcuz neither of them are gonna do anything abt it BUT THEYRE VERY CUTE!! I love them

About DTIK (sorry that I was late reading your reply), I think it's really good. Not sure about tumblr cuz it's not as convenient as ao3 in terms of searching and filtering fics. I checked your fic on ao3; maybe change your rating though cuz you put general audience with a smut tag😅. One of the good things about ao3 is the hits really, you can see how many people have clicked your fic. I find your TBAH and DTIK really unique because.. really, not many people write about those. 9 tails and 4 arms demon. And I think that many people post their fics on ao3 because you can just go crazy and write bizzare fics and most readers know that, especially with the extra warning if there's below 18 reader. I know I'm all talk cuz I don't reblog fics on tumblr, but I love to leave kudos and bookmarks to good fics on ao3. I'm sorry, reblogging just kinda takes effort (I don't like disorganization with the tags and I like to stay anonymous here); ao3 is kind of just one two clicks away. Ok, I have to do a lot of writing and grammar stuff for school, so I know there’s a lot of stuff involved with writing. The writing process, getting ideas/inspiration, actually writing, getting requests…. Etc, etc. However. I don’t do any of that tbh. I just get a request or an idea, answer it, then post it. Not even kidding. I don’t edit, I don’t reread it (cuz I would go back and edit and rewrite and get anxiety about people not liking it and stuff) I don’t really do any of that cuz I don’t feel like it tbh. I write for myself, for fun, but I write for you guys, to make y’all happy! Don’t feel pressured or get nervous or sad if you don’t get a bunch of likes, it’s ok! I don’t always get like over 100 likes on all of my posts, but I know that’s just how it is sometimes! Tumblr is bipolar as hell with popularity sometimes. Just write what makes you happy!

And for myself, I usually put on my fav playlist, and brainstorm a lil bit before I actually write to kinda think about the main, vague idea I have about it before actually writing. Usually I just let it flow ya kno? The writing kinda comes naturally.

Same old, boring routine.

Y/N hit post and slumped against the headrest of her bed, sighing. She waited; a minute, then two passed and she noticed that someone had liked her post. She smiled to herself as she kept her phone away. Though boring, she wouldn't trade her life for the world. Y/N… well, she was a university student first and foremost but she was also a writer.

Being a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she had started writing fanfictions a few years ago. She posted them on Tumblr, where her blog, though not very well-known, stood out enough for her posts to get around 800-1000 likes per post. She loved it; she loved writing, she loved posting her stories and especially, she loved the feedback.

Sometimes people were rude, but most times, the reviews she got were fantastic. She read each and every one of them, smiling goofily as people freaked out over her fanfictions. It warmed her heart. A smile automatically blooming on her face, Y/N lay down on the bed and decided to go to sleep, it being almost 3 am.

Unbeknownst to her, someone else was up at the same time, tossing and turning in his bed, restless.

Sebastian sighed as he sat up, running a hand through his hair. He drank some water and lay down again, closing his eyes but it was like sleep was mad at him. Refused to be anywhere near him. He groaned to himself and picked up his phone from the nightstand, deciding to go through Instagram, hoping he'd finally fall asleep to the glare of the screen.

As he logged into his account, he skipped the activity page and went straight to the explore page. Bored, he continued scrolling until his eyes landed on a specific photo. And the breath escaped his lungs when he clicked on it; the woman in the picture was absolutely gorgeous. He just couldn't resist going to her page, smiling widely when he read her bio.

It gave him her basic information; her name, her age, the university she attended. But what caught his eye was the link below the bio. My Marvel Fanfictions Master List. Marvel fanfictions? She was a writer? Smirking, he clicked on the link and it took him to Tumblr. Of course, he'd heard of the site, but didn't have an account on there. At 3 am, his mind sure wasn't working right.

A post popped up on the screen, the same master list she had mentioned earlier. And his eyes bulged out of their sockets; damn, those are a lot of fanfictions. He went through the whole thing, smirking again when he noticed that she had written the most fanfictions about him. Not Bucky Barnes, no, Sebastian Stan.

He clicked on the first one. The date of posting was way back, in 2019. He started reading; nothing about it felt weird to him; he was intrigued, if anything. And as he continued reading, he couldn't help but imagine her being in the stead of the female protagonist. Her, the writer. The woman whose picture had made him end up reading in the first place.

When he finished the story, his heart thudded wildly in his chest. Wow, she really has a way with words. And he had also noticed how in the author's note, she used a lot of slang but reading the story had made him realize that she had an amazing, extensive vocabulary. He went back to the master list and clicked on the latest post under his name.

Posted: 15 minutes ago.

His breath hitched in his throat when he read the warnings: there was going to be sexual intercourse in this one. For one moment, he hesitated; did he really want to read this? "Oh fuck it," he huffed and scrolled, starting to read. The more he read, the more his shaft twitched in his pants. He wasn't really like that during… but oh damn, he wasn't complaining.

"Oh, Seb…"

His hand slid down and he rubbed himself through his boxers, unable to take his eyes off the text in front of him. His strokes got harder and faster as the sex got steamier. "Ungh, I'm gonna cum—" And he suddenly came in his boxers, groaning. Slumping down on the bed, he quickly finished reading the rest of it, going back to the master list.

He took a screenshot with the account's name in it and then went back to her Instagram account to take another screenshot. Keeping his phone away, he slipped out of his boxers, cleaned himself and pulled the covers on top of him, finally feeling tired enough to fall asleep.

Smiling widely, she kept her phone away and continued walking, not knowing that the person who had texted her was the same man she had written about. Sebastian smiled to himself when he read her text. After getting up in the morning, the first thing he had done was install Tumblr on his phone. Then he made an account for himself.

Figuring out the app was easy; he found out that there was an option to keep your liked posts and the accounts you followed hidden, and selected it immediately. No one needed to know what he did on the app. Then he went back to her account, pressed the follow button and started binge-reading her fanfictions again. Last night had he read only two, and that had left him wanting more.

Funny how much things can change in a night. He liked and reblogged all her posts without a second thought; he even read all her Bucky Barnes posts. She understood his character so well, put him on what he thought was an undeserved pedestal while writing about him. Some of the stories were AUs, which he found out stood for Alternate Universes. Mostly mobster or mafia stuff.

He had the day off, and he spent the entire time cooped up in his apartment, on his bed, reading. The more he read, the more he started fawning over her, over the version of him that she put out to the world. Dominating, suave and just perfect. He loved it. At the end of the day, he decided to text her again, hoping she wouldn't think he was weird or find out the truth.

They talked for hours on end; Sebastian (her friend, not the actor) was extremely witty, smart and fun to talk to, she had to admit. Sebastian felt the same way.

His feelings had worsened. Y/N entirely owned his heart now. Somedays, he'd just go on Instagram, go to her account— her username memorized by him— and stare at her photos until he grew tired; he'd never get tired of looking at her beautiful face but his stiff body afterwards begged to differ. She was just so Elysian. He longed for the moment when he could meet her in real life.

His personality had also changed majorly, and people had caught on. Especially his Marvel co-stars, who knew him to be introverted, shy and, in Anthony Mackie's words, "boring". They were surprised at his sudden change in attitude; he knew his worth and Y/N had helped tremendously in finding it. Now, all those adjectives that she used in her fanfictions fit him perfectly.

Sebastian was never tempted to read fanfictions about himself from authors other than Y/N. No, he only loved her work. He was sure no one else could write as beautifully as she did, he was her #1 fan. Y/N even sent him funny Marvel memes she found on the app and he used to enjoy them heartily; God, the others have no idea what they're missing out on. Our fans are awesome.

Everything was going well.

Until one day.

Sebastian was getting bored at home, so he decided to go to the nearby library to clear his mind. He had read not one book in the past few months, hung up on Y/N's fanfictions. At this point, he was obsessed with her and he knew it. It was nothing dark, per se, it was— it was similar to how Y/N was attracted to Sebastian. How she was a fan of his work.

Just the same. He was a fan of her work in the same way. Just how she was attracted to him, he was attracted to her. Walking into the library that he visited often, he gave the librarian a smile and ventured further into the dark place. He checked his watch; the library closed at 12 am, it was currently 9:30 pm.

Not many people were around, heck, nobody was around. He thought himself to be all alone until he heard it. A sigh, coming from a few aisles away. He walked in that direction and peeked around the corner, freezing when he saw the other person. Y/N? Her books were strewn all across the table as she sat alone at the booth, rubbing her temples.

"You okay?"

She looked up and her breath caught in her throat. I'm dreaming. This is not real. Now I know for a fact that Sebastian Stan is not standing in front of me, asking me if I'm— "Hello?" He snapped his fingers in front of her face, pulling her out of her thoughts. "I, uh— I'm— h-hi," she stammered and he almost chuckled. "Hi." She gulped visibly and blinked at the table, not meeting his eyes.

"Can I have a seat?" He wants to sit with me?! "Y-Yes, sure, sir," she blurted out and he easily slid into the booth next to her. "Hey, please, call me Sebastian. What's your name?" He gave her a friendly smile, even though all he wanted to do was push her back into the booth and kiss her wildly. His shaft twitched just by thinking about it; Y/N was a thousand times more beautiful in person.

"I'm Y/N, it's very nice to meet you, I'm… I'm a fan," she admitted, playing with the ring she wore on her left thumb. I'm your fan too, sweetheart, the biggest one. "Y/N, nice name. You come here often? I haven't really seen you around." She shook her head. "Oh no no, I moved to this part of the city just a week ago, this is my first time here. The library is cozy," she shrugged, easing out of her tense position.

Sebastian nodded. "Yes, I know, this place is awesome. Got all my favorite books here," he chuckled and she smiled at him. "What's all this?" A groan left her lips. "Ugh, stupid university work. I have to write a book report but I don't even know what to write about." He smiled gently. "Well, I have a few favorite books, would you like some suggestions?"

"Oh, please! Tell me!"

He started listing some of his favorite works and Y/N noted the names down until he said the last name. At that, she froze. That's the name of my latest— She looked up but he had a smile on his face. "Oh, and the last one is by my favorite author." He took a pause. "Y/N Y/L/N." She froze completely, staring at the man with her jaw dropped.

Sebastian grinned. "We finally meet, Y/N, I've been waiting for months." Her mouth opened and closed several times as she recalled every interaction she had had with her online best friend— scratch that— her celebrity crush. All the times she had confessed her love for Sebastian Stan, all the dirty and inappropriate memes that she'd sent him…

Embarrassment flooded her entire body as she exhaled shakily. "It was you," she croaked out, "On Tumblr, the account— I'm so sorry—" Sebastian frowned in confusion when she blinked back sudden tears, a few still rolling down her cheeks as shame replaced embarrassment. "Y/N, please don't cry…" She looked up at him, his figure blurry due to her tears.

"You've read everything, haven't you? I just— I'm sorry, I don't want to make you uncomfortable—" He pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly. Y/N couldn't hug back, though she appreciated the hug especially since it came from him. "You don't know how much you mean to me, doll," he mumbled into her shoulder, using the nickname she often used in the stories she wrote about him. He grew accustomed to it easily.

"Huh?"

He pulled away to wipe her tears. "It was an accident," he admitted, "But I stumbled onto your Instagram account from my explore page. Then I clicked on your account, saw that you wrote Marvel fanfictions and I just couldn't resist the urge to read what you had written. Blame it on 3 am me, to be honest. You're a great writer, and I was immediately drawn to your works. They're awesome.

"They've helped me so much in the past few months. You see this changed attitude that everyone's been talking about lately? All because of you, sweetheart. I'm sorry for keeping my identity secret, but after reading your works, I knew I had to get closer to you. I made the Tumblr account just for you, just so I could talk to you. I'm sorry for lying, but thank you."

Y/N dumbfoundedly stared at him for a few moments, her heart beat getting steady with each thump. Here was a man she admired, loved more than anyone else in the world, telling her that he harbored the same feelings for her. How crazy was that?! Not trusting her words, she simply pulled him into another hug. Sebastian wrapped his arms tight around her, pulling her flush against him.

"Can I kiss you, doll?"

She slowly pulled away from him and nodded, shyly biting her lip. Grinning at the endearing gesture, Sebastian cupped her face and leaned in, gently pressing his lips to hers. The kiss grew hungry in a matter of seconds, and Y/N responded just as eagerly. His hands slid down to her waist and tugged on it, pulling her on his lap. She straddled his thighs as they continued kissing.

"Fuck," he groaned when they finally pulled away from each other, out of breath and panting. "You see what you do to me, doll?" Sebastian spoke huskily as he took her hand, placing it right on top of the tent that was forming in his pants. "Oh," Y/N whimpered when she felt him, the sound going straight to his shaft. "How about I take you home and we recreate some of the scenes from your stories, hm?"

"O-Okay."

"Good girl."

Impromptu Ramblings about the NEO:TWEWY Demo

In case y'all weren't aware, I've been a pretty big fan of TWEWY for a couple years now, and with the sequel coming out next month, the excitement I feel for this game is greater than ever :) I played the Demo for the first time yesterday, and following a couple views of some livestreams of others playing it, I felt like sharing my (very ramble-y) thoughts prior to the release of the full game. This post WILL contain spoilers for both TWEWY and NEO:TWEWY, so if you want to avoid those from now on, please block the tags: #twewy spoilers, #ntwewy spoilers, #neo twewy spoilers, #ntwewy, and #neo twewy ^_^ Oh, and if you wanna keep up with any other posts I make about my experience with this game, please refer to the tag "kat plays neo twewy" :)

-First things first: I have not watched the Final Trailer and I don't plan on doing so to avoid spoilers, especially after the pre-release era of KH3 where a lot of the later trailers spoiled a lot of the endgame content. That being said, I've seen some minor screenshots from the final trailer including what many believe to be characters from the original TWEWY, namely Shiki and Joshua. That is all I know about the Final Trailer and I would very much like to remain as blind as possible going into NEO :)

-The very first cutscene was quite ominous in the sense that this game is likely going to be about "changing fate" (a recently common theme in Squeenix games, which I do appreciate), perhaps leading off from the end of A New Day in the OG and trying to stop an Inversion of Shibuya. Also worth noting that A New Day had similar aspects in which the main character experienced "future visions" of tragic events, although in A New Day these events were not able to be changed, while in NEO it seems like one of the main "powers" our protagonist has is specifically to rewrite these events and avoid a "bad ending." Very interesting indeed!

-I really like the revamped comic book style dialogue scenes, it's much more fluid and modern, which is an excellent direction for the series to take!

-I would love to have an actual PokemonGO knockoff of Final Fantasy creatures, please Squeenix that would be incredibleeeeee

-Also the LINE stickers??? Are so cute???

-I would just like to point out that Fret is an absolute treasure throughout this entire demo, he's hilarious and I will protect him with my life

-UHHHH don't like that Fret picked up some Reaper Pins just out of nowhere.....or the fact that they're apparently popular all over Shibuya.............did y'all not learn anything from the OG game or what lmao

-Okay so when I first got the "curry or ramen" scene and heard NPCs talking about the new curry place replacing the old ramen place I became IMMENSELY distressed that Ramen Don was totally cut from the game because....well, Ramen Don is a King okay?? But I'm glad to learn that no, he didn't fall off the face of the earth, he's still in business and he's the one opening the curry restaurant lolol. PHEW, crisis averted!

-.....I don't like the sudden appearance of a Wall Reaper and being able to read NPC thoughts. Wtf happened when they left the ramen place??? Are they playing the Game alive somehow?

-Okay so I have my own theories about this "Swallow" character and what they're up to but considering this is only the Demo and I still Have No Idea What's Happening, I'm just gonna say that I think Swallow intentionally led Rindo and Fret to the Crossing so they could join the Game. I mean, add in the fact that Swallow still communicates with Rindo during the Game and you've got yourself a suspicious character right there lol

-"Hey they're shooting off fireworks!" Fret honey that's not fireworks oof (see also: "*laughs* I'm in danger")

-WOOOOOO way to traumatize Rindo right off the bat like that LMAOO

-The visuals for the intro are VERY GOOD, the song is pretty decent until it gets all "screamo" (which I absolutely cannot stand sorry lol)

-Shoka is every Customer Service employee ever and I respect that

-Susukichi went from being "meh" to "WOW THIS GUY IS FUN" in the span of 10 seconds and I also respect that (he is also built like an Absolute Unit which is hilarious)

-The Wall Reapers (and just Reapers in general) seem.....way nicer and more helpful this time around?? Like in the OG the Wall Reapers were SO RUDE gfhjgjdfkhn and yeah I'm sure we'll get some like that but the juxtaposition of the first Wall Reaper in the OG compared to the first one in NEO is insane.

-The puzzles are quite a bit more entertaining this time around even if it's generally the same "fetch quest" formula lol

-"Rindo's Group" way to go Fret HFKJDGHSDFKJ mans really left the default name in there lmao

-OKAYOKAYOKAY so to those who aren't aware I am a MASSIVE SIMP for Sho Minamimoto, he's my absolute favorite and I think about him daily. HIS INTRODUCTION IS. INCREDIBLE. I LOVE IT SM.

-GOD hearing him actually SPEAK FULL SENTENCES is just SO SURREAL I love this sm

-Also the remix of his theme???? NEO TRANSFORMATION????? IT'S SO GOOD????????? It's like gone from a Boss Theme to a more triumphant sounding theme and I am HERE for it (every version of Transformation is just INCREDIBLE and getting a new one is even better)

-I Love Him, Your Honor

-Also idk how exactly but it's kinda weird seeing Sho in the OG vs NEO, cuz while he's mostly the same Insane Math-Obsessed Catboy, he's.....calmed down quite a bit?? Like OG made a whole point of how poorly he cooperates with others (not to mention just being completely unhinged and trying to kill everyone), whereas here in NEO he's......actually kinda working with others??? HELLO???? Sir what happened to you and Neku during those 3 years I would love to know all about it

-I guarantee you Sho is still probably scheming shite and will likely pull some total insane BS later down the road, and I am very much looking forward to that. Also, is he looking for a certain Pin or something??? Cuz he keeps talking about different Pins and even mentions "this is just another Psych Pin" like he's actively looking for a Pin to do something with. Maybe it also has to do with the "latent powers of Players" thing he mentioned as well??? What is this dude UP TO oml (also is he in contact with Neku at all?? they're both technically fugitives at this point right?? WHAT HAPPENED AFTER A NEW DAY I AM BEGGING YOU)

-I seems like Sho ALSO has an idea of what's going on in this specific game (even if he won't admit it straightforward). Per his quote "The game's 142,857. Factor it out," he's essentially saying, "This game is a neverending cyle, figure out how to get out of it" (or at least that's what I got from his "cyclic number" nonsense lolol)

-I do like how Sho mostly stays out of sight until he's needed for a battle or assisting with a mission, that's kind of on par with his whole "uncooperative" quirk from the OG, plus he might literally have to stay out of sight of other Reapers and Players considering he's likely breaking the rules of the Game (not surprising considering him and Neku broke practically every rule in the book during OG)

-The nicknames for Sho- I can't- They're so FUNNYYYY GFHJSDFKJ

-He goes from being called "Pi-Face" and "Tabooty" in OG to "Mr. Minami" and "M-Teezy" in NEO LMAOO

-(Wowee I just realized I've been mostly talking about Sho oopsies sorry y'all, this is what I meant by thinking about him almost daily he is THAT much of a fav of mine ghfkjsd)

-Okay RIP Fret and Rindo for not getting literally ANY explanation as to how the Game works OOF, that is kinda cringe that whoever gets the Pin earns points, not whoever erases the Noise (which like I understand but also URRRGGHHH I WANNA SEE THE SQUAD SUCCEED)

-Also love the mention of parents in this game???? KH you could learn a thing or two from TWEWY (poor Rindo's mom fhgjkdh)
