Monkey Queen and Macaque would not let Peaches go after capturing her, so there would be no incidents during her time on the mountain... but in the village, when the ladies are posing as monkeys and they come for one of their weekly visits and they see their soon-to-be wife crying and quivering in her bedroll, is when something would happen.
They don't understand at first what happened so they rush over chattering worriedly, looking to inspect the pathetic lump that was Peaches curled up on the floor. Being warriors, the ladies knew what inflicted injuries looked like and the minute they saw her swollen, bruised face peeking out from under the thin sheet she called a blanket, they lost it. It took every ounce of self-restraint to remain in their disguises and to not burn the whole village down to ash. Macaque had to convince Wukong to wait so they could see who the real culprits were before dishing out a punishment. So they waited, curled up against a whimpering Peaches as time passed.
As evening approached, they didn't expect to hear the sound of stomps approaching Peach's room from within, and when they noticed their beaten love trying to curl up deeper into her covers and the quivering of her body start to increase violently, they knew they caught their culprit. As the thin sliding paper door slammed open, they could immediately tell it was one of Peaches family members by the shared features in their face... but whereas Peaches was nearly always smiling or laughing when her furry companions saw her, this person was only snarling at the room. Malice radiated from the person.
The monkeys bristled when the person shouted at Peaches to get up, but nothing compared the anger they felt when the family member approached with a heavy wicker broom and started whacking at the lump that was Peaches and at them. That was enough to send Wukong and Macaque in a vicious flurry of rage. They lept at the attacker, tearing the human limb from limb, and bathing in the blood-curtling screams that ripped from their throat. It didn't take long for the human to die, but the sounds of pain did bring the rest of the family to come rushing in. Wukong and Macaque wasted no time in continuing the slaughter, but not before making the head of the family beg for forgiveness.
By the time they were done, the house was covered in blood and torn bits of flesh. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of giggling coming from Macaque and Wukong. At least that's what they thought until another sound entered the fray... a quiet, sadder sound that clawed at the hearts of the demon warlords... Peaches' light sobbing.
She had been conscious for it all.
Macaque rushed back to Peaches whereas Wukong faltered a bit. Surely, Peaches would fear them now... Would hate them... this was going to take a lot of work to fix on their part. Wukong was going through scenario after scenario in her head as she slowly made her way back to Peaches room of how their little human would react to them. Imagine Wukong's surprise however when from the hallway, she sees Peaches practically clinging to Macaque for some sort of comfort in all the blood; the only spot of white in this ocean of red. The sight made Wukong pause. Suddenly everything came to light for her, and a wide, sharp-toothed grin split across her face.
After that day, Peaches would have no worries... and no use for anyone else but her knights in shining armor.

I want to find a fic and I thought maybe you could help me out? I don’t rember much but it was a multi-chapter fic,where Xie Lian ended up in Ghost City and Hualian met there ‘first’.They were slowly getting together but Feng Xin and Mu Qing tried to convince Xie Lian to kill Hua Cheng.They tried to find his weakness and used some kind of talisman too.The ending was sad because they attacked Hua Cheng and the last minute Xie Lian realized that his ashes hang around his neck and he escaped thorugh a portal to save Hua Cheng.Later he went back to Hua Cheng to apologize and it was all good in the end.

Bonding Trip
Post-canon Xianle trio take on kayaking: MQ in the front, XL in the middle (not paddling), and FX in the back.
Except they keep going in circles.
XL is supposed to be giving orders but fengqing keep clashing 😭
MQ: “Fengxin, I swear to god you better stop telling me what to do - I’m literally in the front and have the best view of where we’re going”
FX: “ok but just because you’re in the front doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t see, idiot. I’m doing my part so I don’t know why the fucking kayak isn’t turning LEFT for some goddamn reason-“
MQ: “oh, so we’re doing the blame game now?”
FX: “does blaming have to be inherently wrong? WE’RE NOT MOVING-“
Meanwhile, XL is staring down the stream and thinking to himself: “hmm, the water is moving faster that way hmm”
It’s a waterfall.
Fengqing: [still arguing]
XL: “waiT gUYS”
Fengqing: [not even listening, not even rowing at this point]
XL whips out the backup paddle and accidentally thwacks both MQ and FX on the head.
XL: “GUYS WE HAVE TO TURN AROUND NOW”
MQ and FX finally seeing their impending doom: “…shit”
Fortunately, all three martial gods manage to row against the current and end back up on calm waters. That is when they finally capsize the kayak because MQ and FX try to take a swing at each other and XL ducks right in time to dodge-
SPLASH! They tip over in a fit of shouts, the last thing heard being: “I hate you SO MUCH!”
It was MQ.
MQ who pops up from the water like a wet cat - NOT a happy camper at all - glaring daggers at FX who bobs up and down a few feet away.
XL is just chilling. At first, he made sure he still had on the necklace with HC’s ashes, but other than that, he didn’t particularly care about what state his clothes or appearance was in.
In fact, as XL is treading the river, he thinks the water is actually kind of refreshing.
MQ: *COMPLAINING AND SCREAMING IN THE BACKGROUND*
FX: *occasionally screaming something back when he’s mentioned*
XL, absentmindedly: “Honestly, the river is kinda refreshing.” 😇
Suddenly, the silence is deafening.
MQ: “the fuck did you just say?”
XL: “I-i just said that it’s not so bad, isn’t it? It was too hot today-”
MQ, popping a vein: “YOU- YOU- Y-“
MQ can’t even collect himself enough to speak. He’s visibly trying not to choke on angry tears, just seriously regretting even agreeing to this so-called bonding activity. (Not really though.)
Minutes later, FX and MQ are still arguing - trying to strangle each other at this point - while XL is floating on his back behind them.
None of them notice how far away their kayak is drifting.
Also, where did their paddles go?
When they finally agree to swim to the shore, MQ is left behind as he isn’t the best swimmer compared to FX and XL.
It’s only after telling FX, “At least we’re still together, which equals good memories,” that XL looks back-
Right as MQ’s head goes underwater.
“Motherfuc-“
XL gasps in shock.
“GAHH MU QING JUST DISAPPEARED-“ XL exclaims, doggy-paddling in place as he points to where MQ was just seconds ago.
FX also turns around.
“Let’s leave him.”
XL: 😠
FX: “oKAY oKAY LETS GET HIM”

So something dragged MQ under.
Merpeople? Water dragons ? Human-like sea creatures? Who knows. But there’s a whole underwater civilization that Xianle trio find themselves in.
The creatures that pulled MQ under were just babies and thought he was pretty, so they kidnapped him. XL manages to communicate through body language and is welcomed enthusiastically - somehow he makes friends everywhere he goes!
And then one of the sea creatures tries to wife FX up. FX is hell-bent on swimming tf out of there, has wanted to leave the moment he was approached.
World’s away, HX feels it in his bones that XL is getting into some shit: “Someone go collect this man.”
It’s him. HX is the one who ends up finding Xianle trio, tracking XL down to say, “Xie Lian, get your ass back to Hua Cheng, he’s worried about you.”
Because the spiritual energy doesn’t work in the underwater kingdom, XL couldn’t inform his husband of his whereabouts. The Xianle tiro + HX begin to leave, but the creatures apparently want them to stay and try trapping them.
HX is not having it.
HX: “not on my watch- or else that one-eyed freak will have my head”
HX effortlessly helps the Xianle trio escape. As they break the surface of the unsuspecting lake, HC is already waiting above shore as he had received a signal from HX hours earlier.
HC sweeps XL up from the water and immediately dries XL’s clothes and body.
“Gege seems to have had quite the adventure today.”
XL smiles up at his husband, leaning in for a warm hug.
“A true bonding experience, haha.”
FX, MQ, and HX: 💀💀💀
HC pulls seaweed from XL’s hair: “I’m glad Gege had fun then.”
MQ pointing at XL: “I’m never letting you plan a trip again”
XL: “ok, then Fengxin can plan the next one! 🥰🥰”
MQ: “absolutely NOT”
FX: “HA, HE GOT YOU GOOOOOD”
HC to XL: “invite me next time too”
XL: “of course, my love” :)
FX: …
MQ: “who’s laughing now”

i think i would need to see mqfx in an entirely different light before i would believe they would enjoy being humiliated. possibly because its also just not my thing although i have thought about what must be appealing about it (the joy, the release of understanding that someone sees you as imperfect but is still interested in a relationship with you? the realization that even if someone does believe these things they're saying they still want to at the very least have sex? feel free to correct me if this isnt actually the appeal ive just come to this conclusion on my own)
ANYWAY. i think i'd have to view their squabbling in an entirely different light, like one or both of them doesn't have their heart really in it and are keeping up their side of the argument for pride's sake or! maybe everyday life behaviors have absolutely no connection whatsoever to what one enjoys sexually (<- totally possible, what do i know)

i'm not qualified to address the first thing bc i didn't take kink studies in college (we DID have one, hashtag liberal arts!! but i was busy doing REAL work pestering my old man and drinking in stats class) but that's probably true at least for some people bc everyone always has a different reason for these things. it's subversive, it's pain under control in a safe environment, it's reaffirming, it's addressing trauma, sometimes even self harm so watch out! as a sidenote: what we might find hot is not necessarily what the characters might find hot. not to lend personhood to the narrative devices (especially when fanfiction is literally the "play with them like paper dolls" genre of writing) but it's an important distinction to make as readers and writers. like do i think for example that mq's emotional repression and torment is hot? very. do you think He's enjoying it??? jury's out (though with melancholic types one Must assume they derive some relief, even if harmful, from flagellation)
back to the important matter of mqfx's hypothetical sex life: in canon they insult each other in equal measure and there's no one in that situation who is actively/consistently made to feel lower than the other (whether they actually do is incidental). it's not that their squabbles Wouldn't make it to the bed but it simply doesn't count as degradation. argument (equal) ≠ degradation (power dynamic). am i saying it's impossible for them to have ANY S/M thing going on?? also no bc as mentioned before i think mq views Everything as a power struggle, but fx also strikes me as the type of guy who would really really like getting called good boy but he doesn't know this about himself. for that matter mq would probably like some praise too he's just way more roundabout with it

just watched episode one. here are my thoughts: (lots and lots of mythic quest season three spoilers ahead! don’t read if u haven’t watched)
1- so good to see dana again. missed her!
2- POPPY MY BELOVED. can already see the beginnings of like a whole self doubt imposter syndrome arc, super excited for what they do w that, especially as a fellow woman in like a stem field that sometimes feels like they don’t belong/don’t deserve what they’ve achieved!
3- brad. that’s it.
4- no jk. ok so the brad and david reunion had me reeling a little, not gonna lie. brad just looks so deeply sad, like the humble little nod he gives carol after she says he’s the new janitor…. ouch. i feel like after all the stressful shit that happened for him last season (and i’m choosing to believe there was an offscreen breakdown that happened that caused him to impulsively report himself to the police for something he DIDNT EVEN DO), prison finally gave him like. a break. and now he’s just trying to live normal again, trying to piece himself back together and restart his life and maybe learn a few things. and i just. it hurts so much. (i’m getting this all from like the three seconds he’s been on screen so far, so yes i’m insane). anyway very excited to see the rest of him in the episode
5- also david’s reaction was just so fucking funny. like the super villain way brad was already in his office and the way david turned and was like what the fuck.? LMAO. i love them so much. i’m also reading into this way more than i should. but happy their dynamic is back. and the way david is like looking for the worst scenario but it’s just brad being brad!
6- also the “what’s your angle? you have to have an angle. look at your body, it’s all angles!” ?????? like they are fucking with us. they addressed braddavid on questie besties and now they are fucking with us (and it’s working)
7- the brad jo tension makes me very sad. i hope they get to heal together.
8- also just occurred to me that david definitely does not know that jo is actually the one who did the insider trading. hope that maybe gets addressed and david can see brad in a new light kinda
9- i love you carol
10- “well your gut fucking sucks!” funniest line
11- “do not weep for me for i go to my rest as so few men do: content.” ouch.
12- the cw death hit me a little harder than i expected because he was never my favorite character but it’s still sad. i’ll be interested to see how it affects ian, as well as brad maybe since he’s trying to reform and i think for him that should mean getting closer to people, since he obviously never prioritized friendships before.
13- wish they had more of the like catch-up reunion scene. but apparently poppy and ian’s office is in the same building as mq lmaoo (if that’s what they were saying, i was a little confused but i’m also very tired) so i’m excited for antics!
overall good episode. i’m so fucking happy to see them again, i physically cannot wait until the rest comes out. andhjsbsbsb

It is certainly slime shaped.
Ok in all seriousness this is probably one of the funniest monster designs I've ever seen. Like. Your honor look at it. Mouth is agape. I really like how the pupils aren't perfect circles like a lot of video game monsters have, adding to the slime effect. The only reason I gave it a 7/10 is because that's all it has going on. It is good design for the first monster you encounter, it's just kind of boring in a sense. Also I thought it kind of looked like goofy le grande from cuphead at first, just being a darker shade of blue. I like the design, just not my favorite

Also they can stack and form bigger slimes???? That's genuinely so amazing. If I saw 8 or more slides fuse to become mega-slime I'd cry and run away. They can also speak human and have a habit of replacing words with slime puns, which I personally think is adorable. You guys have me hooked on dragonquest now, so if anyone has and recommendations on where to start that'd be great :). Anyways I love this guy and it seems like it'd be a great plushie :D
Dragon quest as a whole seems like it had a really charming art style and story! Like I'm so glad you guys introduced me to mq!!

i saw your response to the ask about a fic u wanted more positive engagement on and i just want u to know i read that when i didnt have an ao3 account and have been searching for that fic FOREVER like it drove me so crazy it was so good. like im the type who usually only reads happy endings but it literally plagued my thoughts for MONTHS it was so good.... their relationship was so deliciously awful i think its peak representation of fq during their era of nothing but raw hurt and festering resentment from misunderstandings and all the outside factors stressing them out.... so excited to watch fxmq irreparably hurt and damage each other.... also yes the writing was a bit confusing but like in a good way,,,, like if it had been less vague and more clear i feel like it wouldnt have been as enjoyable bc that writing style really fit the vibe of the story, it kind of pulled it all together ykwim? like i really loved how u wrote it i think it was perfect as is, i cant think of a single possible thing that could make it even better.... yeah, tbh just for all your fics, u have this way of setting a kind of atmosphere throughout that just really brings the whole story together, like i noticed it in the mq toy store employee fic and the broken threads fic too. im not articulate enough to identify or describe what it is exactly that u do, but u do it sososososoooooo well it drives me crazy. youre amazing <33 ok ummmm i love all your writing and i will easily wait another 10 years for a hint of a second chapter for this fic or any other works by u, so please take your time without worry, i hope u have an amazing day/night, byeeee :3 <3
i'll have you know that i had a super rough day yesterday + i'm currently sick rn and when i got this ask i started to tear up. you get me and you get exactly what i'm going for. i understand wanting happy endings but i'm also desperate to explore the part of fengqing that's in continuous conflict not through any fault of their own but because of their circumstances + who they are as people,, and i know that's not for everyone but it makes me so happy that you understand what i'm trying to do here lmao.
i think i'll legitimately have to rethink my entire life if it takes me ten years to finish the second chapter, but i just checked my fic tracking doc and i started it back in february so uhh. i can't make any promises but this did make me open up that doc again and nanowrimo is coming up so i'll have to work on something or other. and every time i actually start thinking about this fic again i start to go insane. i think last time i worked on it i made myself cry? i'm definitely just oversharing at this point but.

14. Favorite place to write?
Oooooh ... I'm comfiest when I write on my couch, sitting in front of a TV tray with my laptop. But I do my best writing at work, either standing at the front desk or sitting in front of my computer in the back office.
23. Is writing the beginning, middle or end of the story the easiest? Hardest?
OK, endings are DEFINITELY the hardest part. Trying to get the story tied down, and still find something nice and poignant to close out on is the worst part of writing for me (except titles and summaries, obviously).
Easiest varies fic to fic, if I'm being honest. Most of the time, I start out with a super clear vision of one or two scenes, then build the rest of the plot around that. Sometimes it lends itself really neatly to a creative, fun opening line, but sometimes I spend hours staring at the blank page before I throw something down to noodle at later.
47. Is there a trope that you've written before but are now sick of?
Not that I can think of? The closest I can come up with is maybe the specific variation of "only one bed" where the hotel has a Magical System Error and changes the reservation from two beds to one. Even that isn't so bad; I'm just really particular about how it comes together, because my professional knowledge bogs me down in the little details.
71. Do you have a fic you wish got more love?
Maybe? Most of the time I'm pretty good about writing for myself, and letting anyone else who likes it just be a fun bonus. That said, it's been an adjustment as I move from Chenford (a pretty sizeable fandom) to some of the smaller fandoms I've written for lately. The feedback has all been positive, but there's less of it. I know why, and I understand why it works that way, but sometimes it's hard to remind myself that, say, my Will Trent or MQ fics aren't "worse" just because they have so many fewer hits/kudos than Chenford writing.

ok here’s all my Thoughts about mq s3 and why it’s probably the weakest season so far.
tl;dr It just feels like they wrote themselves into a corner with how s2 ended and then didn’t know how to continue on from there. And it’s disappointing! It’s back to how it was in s1 where the only real strong character arc is Ian and Poppy’s, and the rest of the characters are just kinda… there to do funny stuff. And it’s not the worst thing in the world and they kiiiinda pull it together a little in the finale, but it’s disappointing because we know they can do good character arcs for all the characters simultaneously, because they did that in s2!

let’s compliment sandwich this so good things first:
The GrimPop storyline was good! Easily the strongest aspect of the season, tho I feel like Ian Winger-speeching himself out of the conflict was maybe a bit too easy? It was a good speech, I liked it, it fits their weird toxic codependent relationship well, but I would have liked to see him doing more for Poppy. Ah well, still good.
The bad is uhhh a lot. I don’t even know where to begin.
Actually let’s start with the metaverse/NFT shit, because it was shit and really soured me on the first half of the season. I get why these topics were included, it was a hot issue when they were writing the season, but it sucks how they were implemented. First off, it’s aged like milk, what with the multiple crypto crashes and NFTs kinda disappearing out of the collective consiousness (thank christ).
Second, the fact that there’s no talk of the negative aspects of NFTs. Atrocious, especially concerning Rachel, who, being ostensibly the leftist of the group, should really at the very least have brought up the negative impact on the environment that NFTs/crypto has.
Unfortunately, it does make sense why this happened. Ubisoft was one of the first game companies to use NFTs in their games, and Rob Mcelhenney owns one of those ugly fucking apes (I hope for his sake he’s sold it already), so he’s clearly invested in this shit. Obviously neither was gonna shittalk NFTs when they have such a big monetary stake in them. Hugely disappointing, but not surprising.
Now the characters... let’s start with Dana, because her “character development” was easily the most baffling to me. Like. Who is this? Where did this mini-Ian come from? This isn’t who Dana was. She had confidence, sure, but not Ian levels of delusional confidence. And like, what was the point of making her so much like Ian? How did that serve her character? Most she did was act like a kind of mediator between Ian and Poppy, but what did it do for her? The last ep kinda wrangles this into her being fed up with them and starting her own thing, but like, she was happy to hang out with Ian for most of the season. I dunno, I can kinda see what they were going for, but it doesn’t feel like there was a proper build-up to that final episode.
Let’s go to everyone’s favourite tumblr sexyman, Brad. Again, the last episode blatantly states his “arc” (working his way up to being in power again), but like. All the stuff inbetween doesn’t feel like it really adds up to anything. I mean, what did him being the janitor really... do. He acts like he’s up to something, but then he isn’t, and by ep 3 he’s already just doing HOMIE stuff again. I think it could have been so much more fun if he’d actually used his position as a janitor to weasel his way back into monetization. Like, digging up dirt on people and stuff.
And again the build-up to the finale wasn’t really there. Oh, he wants a challenge now? He never talked about that. Where did that come from? Why not seed that more?
Also, would have liked for his eating disorder to be addressed more. It’s so rare to see men with eating disorders on tv, it could’ve been something special. Maybe next season.
Rachel... I’m highly skeptical of her suddenly being “dumb”. Like sure, she was always shown to be a little airheaded, but it feels like they really turned it up to 11 and like... for what? It reminds me too much of how Britta was treated in later seasons of Community, and that was shitty then and is shitty now. It’s just wild to me that they’d have this whole arc in s2 about her finding her passion, and then they just throw it away. She could’ve been the new writer instead of the new HOMIE!
Also, if she’s so dumb, how can she be made the new HOMIE at all. That’s a high fucking position, and you expect me to believe they just gave that to some rando ex-tester? I know MQ isn’t realistic, but I have my limits. And then they kinda lampshade that by having Brad be like “oh I engineered this” but that just feels lazy. Like my brother in christ you put her in this storyline, don’t act like it all meant nothing now.
Also I know capitalism is a hell of a drug and I love me a corruption arc but could we for once have a leftist character on tv who like. Sticks to their guns and isn’t a massive hypocrite. Please.
THE LACK OF REAL STORYLINE BETWEEN BRAD AND JO. Hello he went to jail for her??? Hello?? Can we address this? Even a little? Maybe in the ep called TO CATCH A MOUSE?? It wasn’t even a mouse but you named it To Catch A Mouse and then you don’t have some sort of conversation between the mouse and the shark hello? Do I have to do everything myself around here??
Also, C.W. @kaitcake1289 already wrote a good post on this but I’d just like to reiterate what a disappointment it is that his death seemingly has zero impact on anyone. And it could have been such a good way to tie all the characters together, which I think was sorely needed with how divided they were between MQ and GrimPop. The grief they would all feel from losing the studio’s weirdo grandpa could have been such a nice overarching theme. And it could all impact them in different ways and drive their arcs this season! Just a missed opportunity, and frankly a weird way to treat the death of one of the major characters. Even Pierce’s death in Community was more impactful, and he left because there was major beef between the actor and the showrunner.
I’m a bit hmm about the idea of Dana/Jo/Brad in their own studio, bc I just don’t think splitting the characters up like this worked out this season, but we’ll see. I hope they have an actual plan this time lmao.
Okay other end of the compliment sandwich uhhhhh. I think David’s arc was decent. It was nice to see him get along with Jo and to see him stand up for himself. Um. The Christmas ep was very good. Sarian was another banger backstory ep. In general there were loads of jokes I liked! I’m just disappointed with how the characters that weren’t Ian or Poppy were treated.

This isn't really important for the Sonoff Basic, but for the touch switches then we need to know if someone has pressed the touch switch so we can keep Homeseer up to date with the current status of the devices. You'll also notice that for every publish that changes one of the Sonoff outputs, the Sonoff will publish a stat/ or Status message in the form stat/sonoff1/POWER for example confirming the change. Sonoff devices with more than one output name them POWER1, POWER2, etc, whereas the Sonoff basic is just POWER. You can 'publish' from the MQTT.fx app to test that you can turn your sonoff devices on and off. In the example above our device sonoff1 has an output called POWER (its a Sonoff Basic) to to turn it on we'd publish cmnd/sonoff1/POWER = 1. These devices subscribe to cmnd / The unique device name / Output name. These names (or Topics) are CaSe SeNsItIve so be aware. In Tasmota, each Sonoff is given a unique name such as sonoffsw1 or sonoff1 as above. Once your connected to your newly installed MQTT Broker, from MQTT.fx subscribe to # and you should start seeing telemetry from your Sonoff's in the subscription tab. Once you have your Sonoff devices flashed with Tasmota, have them on the network, can access them and have given them a unique name then you should be able to control them directly from MQTT with a tool like MQTT.fx. Devices can be both publishers and subscribers and this is often the way it works out. The premise of MQTT is simple There are publishers (devices that send information) and subscribers (devices that listen for information).

You'll need to install and test a MQTT broker on your local network in order to make any of this work. MQTT is a service provided by a Broker such as Mosquitto which is open source, multi-platform and very stable but there are many more and the choice is very much yours. Since then its been developing and is now an accepted standard at version 3.1.1. MQTTīack in 1999 IBM came up with MQ Telemetry Transport Protocol to allow for lightweight communication between devices such as sensors in a queue-able and reliable manner. I won't go over the flashing process here because there are enough guides on the Web covering this. Personally, even though I've used SonOTA, I still prefer the hard wired approach. Flashing your Sonoff device depends on which device but most can be flashed 'over the air' using SonOTA but others require a direct connection to the conveniently placed programming connections.

The firmware is GPL and full source is available for those (like me) who want to tinker with it to support other devices quickly and easily such as NodeMCU. Tasmotaĭeveloped by Theo Arends, the Tasmota firmware runs on the ESP8266 and connects your Sonoff devices to MQTT. I have now received, flashed and integrated every Sonoff variant and all work just fine which is nice. Whilst this is ok for some, being able to link these directly to our Homeseer is a preferred option. Out of the box the Sonoff device comes with custom firmware that requires an 'app', Internet access and a service that's hosted in China. Anyway, since the 'basic' ITEAD now have a comprehensive range of Sonoff devices, from the Basic, the Dual and the 4 Channel to the elegant touch wall switches and we'd be crazy not to want to hook these up to our HA system. If you actually add up the cost of the components its hard to make one for the price of these units but that's the china effect I guess. When you look at the Sonoff Basic, which is essentially a power supply, ESP8266 and a relay then you have a neat wifi switch in a small package. ITEAD from Shenzhen China have been around for a while now and their Sonoff range of control devices are not only cheap but actually pretty good. This guide assumes you have some basic electronics and programming knowledge.

Regardless its still a great system for anyone who likes getting down and dirty with the code to achieve exactly what they want for HA. After about 4 weeks of using Homeseer it became clear that whilst the power is there to interface with the world there are a limited number of 'Plug-ins' available and some of those appear to be no longer maintained. Homeseer has a lot of positives and a few negatives but the real power comes from the fact that (a) the product allows you to write VB script to control just about anything and (b) via Plug-ins you can interface with pretty much any IP based device fairly easily.

I would pay someone else good cash to write a story where mq and yy are like. yknow how when ppl get married they have someone they know handle most of the wedding prep? well if hualian were getting married (say modern au) I think they'd both be good at it but they'd have nothing to talk to each other about and it would be funny
