Underfell Grillby, pretty please :)
“Why did you bring kernels to the movie theater again?” You quirk a brow as you both settle into your seats.
“Because, why pay for cheap food at high price when I can make it myself?” Fellby grins, popping a unpopped popcorn kernel into his flaming mouth from a bag he snuck in.
You make a face at him as you hear a pop come from his mouth. He chuckles as he chews.
“We’re the only ones who came to see this movie, the noise won’t bother anyone.” He says throwing another into his mouth.
Pop.
You roll your eyes and face the big screen, ignoring his devilish grin.
Pop.
“What’s the matter? Want a taste?” He teases, shaking the kernel bag in front of your face.
“It’s not even buttered.”
Pop.
You sigh, shaking your head as you grumble.
“I’m sorry I’m sorry, cmere.” Fellby says, taking your chin in his warm purple hand and turning your face towards him.
His warm silky lips meet yours and your annoyance is momentary forgotten before you feel a pop in your mouth.
He pulls away laughing as you glare at him, chewing on the newly popped popcorn now in your mouth.
“I hate you”
“You know you love me”

🎨 (because I'm greedy lol)
Hmm. Well, you're already up to date on everything I have for Hudson and Rex, sooo....even though I've largely left the Magnum fandom because ugh I still have half finished works floating around:
The Hawai’i Institute of Marine Biology was a part of the University of Hawai’i on it’s own private island. The ferry was the only way to get to the lab, and it ran on an hourly schedule, but fortunately, Gordon’s detective shield carried enough weight for an exception.
“This is a functioning lab, detective,” the woman pointed out over the phone. “Is this something we can discuss on your side? We don’t normally allow visitors, even the police, to come to the facility without a prior appointment. Unless it’s the lab you want to investigate? In which case, I’m sorry, but you’re going to need a warrant.”
“No, ma’am, it’s not the lab I’m interested in. Just their expert opinion on a wound from a possible shark attack victim.”
“Oh.” She sounded puzzled. “Are you with Thomas?”
Gordon frowned at the first name basis, but Thomas wasn’t exactly an uncommon name. “Depends. Is his last name Magnum?”
“Yeah, that’s him!” the woman said, and he could swear her tone warmed by a solid seventy degrees when he said the private detective’s name. “He just left the office and should be heading back across the channel now - but he was right, that tooth was a Black Tip shark, and while they have bitten people in the past, none of the wounds were fatal, and more than half of them were what’s considered a provoked attack, which means that the person bitten did something to deserve it.” There was a pause, and Gordon could hear her suck in a breath before blurting out: “You didn’t report it as a shark attack already, did you?”
Gordon couldn’t help the head shake, even if she couldn’t see it. “No, ma’am,” he assured. “And I won’t be. It’s currently being investigated as a suspicious death. But I do still need someone to hopefully identify another wound on the body. Can we get that boat ride?”
“Well…you can, but why don’t you just ask Thomas?”
“Ask Magnum about what?”
“About the bite wound - he’s probably already on his way back, assuming he hasn’t decided to drop in on one of the other labs.”
“I would prefer to talk to an expert in marine biology,” Gordon pressed. Not that he wasn’t now convinced that the private detective knew more than most about sharks, but for the purpose of legal investigations, he needed someone other than a hobbyist to confirm information.
There was a long pause, and Gordon pulled the phone away from his ear to see if he’d dropped the call. “Ma’am?”
“I’m sorry, detective, but…how do you know Thomas?”
“Our paths cross on a frequent basis with investigations.”
“Oh…well, he can explain it to you when he gets there - you should see him on the taxi now, actually.”
Gordon turned to face the lagoon and sure enough, a small white boat puttered quietly across the channel from the island, two passengers clearly visible in the open boat, one clearly Magnum in his bright Hawaiian print shirt sitting on the bow. The driver looked all of fifteen, but he was laughing at something Thomas said, and Gordon could see the mile wide grin on the private detective’s face even from the shore.
At least, until the driver pointed out Higgins and Gordon to Magnum, and as soon as Magnum recognized them, his million dollar smile faltered. Even though the detective was wearing sunglasses, Gordon had a teenager at home - he could hear the eye roll behind the lenses.

Honestly the cliche advice is true. If you fill your life w things you’re passionate about, if you challenge yourself every day, if you give your own opinion of yourself more weight than you do other people’s opinions of you, you will actually thrive. Like no one can tell u anything

Mr. Fenton is a competent teacher. Almost too competent.
If Mr. Daniel Fenton had any more than a BS (with a minor in education), Tim would’ve flagged his profile as a potential Rogue. That’s the way of most charismatic academics, at least in Gotham. (Got a PhD? Instant watchlist.) Instead, he’s Gotham Academy’s newest celebrity, as a young, passionate, out-of-towner substitute while the chemistry teacher’s on maternity leave.
Tim gets the hype. Fenton seems to genuinely love teaching, and is invested in the welfare of the student body. He hands out bananas during exam week, hosts a “study habits seminar” each month to coach effective learning strategies, and the third time Tim falls asleep in his class, he even pulls Tim aside to ask if he’s doing okay. With all the late work he accepts and the protein bars he sneaks Tim, he’s every teen vigilante’s dream teacher. He could’ve been Tim’s favorite.
In fact, Mr. Fenton was Tim’s favorite. Up until Tim walks into Mr. Fenton’s chemistry classroom for a forgotten textbook, an hour after the final bell.
On the board where tallied scores for today’s review game had been kept, “THE CHEMISTRY BEHIND DR. CRANE’S FEAR GAS: ANXIOGENICS, NERI’S, & YOU,” is now scrawled. A detailed diagram of the human endocrine system projects in front of a small crowd of adoring and attentive students.
Fenton is wrist-deep in the skull cavity of an anatomical model. A short tug, and out pops the brain.
It’s plastic. It’s fake.
Tim identifies the nearest emergency exit.
Fenton turns to the door, and in the dark classroom with the projector illuminating half his face, his eyes almost seem to flash red. “What’s up, Tim?” he asks. His friendly grin is too big for his face. “I didn’t know you wanted to join the Just Science League!”
[OR: Danny’s a science teacher at Tim’s school. Gotham’s a pretty wild place, even for someone who grew up a superhero in a ghost-infested town, so he takes it upon himself to start a club teaching kids how to manage themselves in the event of a crisis. These Gothamites are pretty hardy, but a little extra training never hurt anybody! And he suspects one of his students might be a teen vigilante, like he’d been, back in the day. As a senior super, it's Danny’s duty look out for him! Surely, this is the subtlest and most appropriate way to give the kid pointers.]
[Tim immediately assumes supervillain.]

I was so sad when they cut Luke teaching Percy sword fighting from earlier episodes, one of the main reasons being because it would have meant that they couldn’t reasonably have Luke giving Percy instructions during the Ares fight, but having sword fighting lesson flashbacks during the fight was genius it tied everything together really well and made so much sense considering Luke hasn’t been in a huge portion of the show and your average viewer wouldn’t necessarily recognise his voice

I love seeing characters make the wrong choice. Like logically, morally, whatever. It should be so easy, so obvious, to do something right for once! But they don’t see it or they don’t care. Their instincts always lead them to choose poorly. Bad for them but great for me because it’s so interesting and I like to watch the suffering. ^_^
