i think it depends on where you are & how much you’re buying & whether the thing you’re buying is medical supplies you don’t need (bad. stop.)...... but i think chastising people for buying a large amount of groceries & supplies in this situation is kind of misplaced.

#i realize stores being sold out of certain things is annoying but it seems like an inevitable side effect of the current situation #when the confirmed cases in your city is nearing a thousand #and the advice you're receiving from official sources is stay home and don't leave unless you absolutely have to #and a trip to the grocery store requires walking twenty minutes through crowded sidewalks #stocking up seems p. reasonable #we're all doing the best we can to protect our safety and that of others in a crisis situation #tons of admiration for the people who are offering themselves to get groceries & supplies for those who can't or don't feel safe doing so! #like i think the people we should be chastising are those who are going out to clubs & not taking any of this seriously #(maybe i'm biased as a Grocery Hoarder w 4 boxes of pasta in my possession. & also the stores around here aren't sold out of much.) #coronavirus tw
