Honestly the funniest thing about TDP to me is that Rayla for some reason always thinks Callum isn't 100% ride-or-die with her on any given situation. Seriously, she could decide she's jumping off a cliff and he'd do it too--oh wait.
I get that half of it is 'protecting' him but like. Girl he has been ready to die and kill for you since the first snake chain incident. It has not lightened up since. In fact its gotten worse. She's his special little guy and if anything happens to her he will kill everyone in the room and then himself. She physically cannot ever sacrifice herself for anyone because Callum WILL be following her straight into the afterlife in no less than a minute. I'm fully convinced he can and would go even further than Claudia and he'd barely have to think on it for five seconds before shrugging like "damn this sucks, can't believe I have to turn evil" "you literally don't have to--" "no I'm gonna"
And honestly I think that's peak teenagers first girlfriend behavior.

Idk why I took so long but I just watched Jonathan Glazers full speech and the man literally says "victims of October 7th" and "refutes his jewishness . . . Being hijacked" like did zionist twitter make someone up to be mad at. His speech was middle ground all around sympathies. Was it a crime that he said what's happening in Gaza is a result of dehumanization? Whoops i guess they don't want to start to think of the people of gaza as worthy of life as any other person but I digress

“I had a dream, though,” I say, thinking back. “I was following a mockingjay through the woods. For a long time. It was Rue, really. I mean, when it sang, it had her voice.”
“Where did she take you?” he says, brushing my hair off my forehead.
“I don’t know. We never arrived.” I say. “But I felt happy.”
...
Peeta pulls the chain with the gold disk from around his neck. He holds it in the moonlight so I can clearly see the mockingjay. Then his thumb slides along a catch I didn’t notice before and the disc pops open. It’s not solid, as I had thought, but a locket. And within the locket are photos. […]
“Your family needs you, Katniss,” Peeta says.
My family. My mother. My sister. And my pretend cousin Gale. But Peeta’s intention is clear. That Gale really is my family, or will be one day, if I live. That I’ll marry him. So Peeta’s giving me his life and Gale at the same time. To let me know I shouldn’t ever have doubts about it. Everything. That’s what Peeta wants me to take from him.
...
He puts the chain with the locket around my neck, then rests his hand over the spot where our baby would be. “You’re going to make a great mother, you know,” he says.
...
As I drift off, I try to imagine that world, somewhere in the future, with no Games, no Captiol. A place like the meadow in the song I sang to Rue as she died. Where Peeta’s child could be safe.
....

A little while ago an anon asked me if I thought there was any meaning to Yellow Guy insisting Hovris is the man (despite the show always referring to the dog as Hovris), and I figured it was just a joke about Wallace and Gromit.
However, thinking about it:
Hovris is mistreated in a lot of the episodes (tied to the table in at least two episodes, refused water when it’s hot out, etc.)
Grolton is taller than Hovris and has blue hair, is balding, and has suspenders that look like overalls, making him pretty similar to Roy. Hovris also sports a similar outfit
And then take into consideration Bird saying “I’m the dad, he’s the pet-” to Yellow in the family episode, and this scene:
And it becomes obvious why Yellow thinks Hovris is the man.

the way Buck tried to bite Eddie's head off when they first met vs. the way he tried to kill Tommy with his mind is pretty damning evidence that when Buck has a crush on a boy he doesn't know what to do so he just. tries to fight him

You want SJM to write another book about training to fight because you can’t comprehend a female character being badass and having agency unless she holds a sword.
I want SJM to write a book about Elain training to be a spy because it plays on themes of everyone underestimating her, her powers as a seer, claiming agency in the NC, becoming a hidden weapon, and still maintaining the roots of her character.
We are not the same.
