the tsaritsa and darling just picking you up while in the middle of no where like your a stray 😭

you try to cause problems and get them to think your too much work but they just think your escape attempts are cute. the other acolytes do not.

you are constantly causing problems for them n bullying them but they can't do anything bc your favored by Darling.

also reader constantly trying to bite darling + the tsaritsa when their being affectionate but they just think your play biting bc its like being stabbed by a wet noodle. keep doing it long enough and they'll start biting back though. gonna walk out looking like you just got mauled

also darling only letting you feed from them or the tsaritsa. they say it's bc you deserve only the best of the best, but your 99% sure it's because their blood, and the tsaritsa's to a lesser extent, makes you drowsy and docile. it's addicting too.

you managed to run away a total of once, and the moment you tried to drink any blood other then theirs, it made you sick.

so now you just angrily seethe in darlings palace while they coo about how cute it is when you pout. everything you do is cute to them. biting?? just play bites. your fangs aren't even strong enough to break their skin, and theirs are so much bigger then yours. they just find it adorable. most of all they find your blood drunken state directly after feeding adorable too. they get to pamper you and be as affectionate as they please without you biting and twisting about. if you drink darlings blood, doubly so, as you seek out affection. nuzzling into their palms and being so sweet for them..

The two of you met before she had become the archon, when you were both happy teenagers/young adults and caught up in puppy love.

Of course, we don't know much about the Tsaritsa's past but I think something happened to her. Perhaps a situation similar to Qiqi's where the only reason she's now alive is because she was granted the power of an archon or something to that effect. And perhaps that's why she's fairly monstrous, because after she died she didn't remain completely human.

And perhaps you were caught up in that as well and had died. But you didn't come back. When the Tsaritsa had woken up, you weren't beside her like you always were. Instead, you had died.

That's what she believed anyways.

I did some minimal google-ing and from what i've seen phoenix's tend to live in deserts like Egypt and the Arabian desert. And I believe Sumeru has a desert!

So my thinking is that reader was perhaps reborn by the original dendro archon or the new one or something like that- idk timelines are weird. Either way I think you'd end up in Sumeru as a phoenix, unknowing of the fact that your lover is alive and the new archon.

The angst potential with this is terrifying :) like imagine if you took up a lover while you were in Sumeru bc you thought the Tsaritsa was dead. Imagine in the Tsartisa did the same thing and-

and imagine you decided to visit Snezhnaya, your homeland, out of nostalgia. To see your home no matter how much its changed over the decade(s) you've been gone.

Perhaps you fly there since you're a phoenix and you're spotted and taken in. Because no ordinary phoenix, burning brightly with fire, would travel to the cold tundra of Snezhnaya. Surely you must have some other motivation?

Blah blah blah all that stuff, and in the end you end up coming face to face with the cryo archon. and it's her.

And bc i said so, you have an extremely high body temp while Tsaritsa has very low so it's very cute and all that <33

and... what if i added a bit of spice into this? Sometimes I'll see people writing about the Tsaritsa being jealous of the reader interacting with other archons. Very delicious. BUT what if this was because in the past, before you knew the Tsaritsa was still alive, you had taken up one of the other archons as your lover?

You admit this to the Tsaritsa, the guilt eating away at you, tears pricking at your eyes, and she's heartbroken. But she understands. That doesn't mean she's not jealous, quite the opposite in fact.

If you wanted we could shove some yandere-ness in here. Making it to where the Tsaritsa kept you all to herself in her cold palace and you thinking it's alright because you're so sorry for the fact that you were with someone else while you thought she was dead.

Or we could keep it relatively fluffy with a big pouty and jealous tsaritsa <333 Needless to say you two are inseparable. Even when you inevitably die and have to be painfully reborn from the ashes, she'll remain by your side and keep you safe in her cold cold palace.
