"An unintentional opportunity, the Chancellor has given us," Yoda said gravely. "A window he has opened into the operations of his office. Fools we would be, to close our eyes." "Then we should use someone else's eyes," Obi-Wan said "Forgive me, Master Yoda, but you just don't know him the way I do. None of you does. He is fiercely loyal, and there is not a gram of deception in him. You've all seen it; it's one of the arguments that some of you, here in this room, have used against elevating him to Master: he lacks true Jedi reserve, that's what you've said. And by that we all mean that he wears his emotions like a HoloNet banner. How can you ask him to lie to a friend to spy upon him?" "That is why we must call upon a friend to ask him," said Agen Kolar in his gentle Zabrak baritone. "You don't understand. Don't make him choose between me and Palpatine-" "Why not?" asked the holopresence of Plo Koon from the bridge of Courageous, where he directed the Republic Navy strike force against the Separatist choke point in the Ywllandr system. "Do you fear you would lose such a contest?" "You don't know how much Palpatine's friendship has meant to him over the years. You're asking him to use that friendship as a weapon! To stab his friend in the back. Don't you understand what this will cost him, even if Palpatine is entirely innocent? Especially if he's innocent. Their relationship will never be the same-" "And that," Mace Windu said, "may be the best argument in favor of this plan. I have told you all what I have seen of the energy between Skywalker and the Supreme Chancellor. Anything that might distance young Skywalker from Palpatine's influence is worth the attempt." Obi-Wan didn't need to reach into the Force to know that he would lose this argument. He inclined his head. "I will, of course, abide by the ruling of this Council." "Doubt of that, none of us has." Yoda turned his green gaze on the other councilors. "But if to be done this is, decide we must how best to use him."

Commander Buir
Follow-up to this post. Not in any particular order, just spitballing ideas, with contributions from several friends on discord.
Like presumably it takes long enough for them all to meet up again that Anakin and Cody do, in fact, end up treating each other like family, just so I can have that good good "well, guess I'm Dad now" energy. Shmi isn't entirely sure what's going on but she's not a slave anymore and her kid seems to like this rando mando, so.
Anakin gets to have a mom and two dads, though one of the dads is arguably younger than him.
Also when they all meet up again and Cody explains the "General Skywalker got shrunk" thing, there are three reactions: (General) Obi-Wan: Oh, Anakin. Obi-Wan: [gestures to take him, ends up with an armful of clingy padatoddler] Anakin: You can't blame this on me, Obi. Obi-Wan, a little teary, because babies cause emotions: Of course I can, you absurd human being. ------ Rex: That's... my general. Anakin: I am, Captain. Rex: Cool cool cool I'm gonna go stand where I can't, uh, break you. Anakin: I'm not THAT fragile! ------ Ahsoka: [gasp] Skyguy is SKYKID! Anakin: Padawan, this is-- Ahsoka, grabbing him and cuddling: Oh my goodness you're adorable this is the best day ever. Anakin: This is humiliating, Snips, put me down. Ahsoka: Never.
Anakin hates being a toddler because of the lack of independence but Cody keeps picking him up when he's cranky and just holding him until he falls asleep and that's... nice.......
- The brain limitations aren't quite as bad as the situation with Sokanth and Ylliben in the other AU, but - Even if his brain is mostly adjusted he’s still got a tiny body with different needs that he’s not used to. Like, he needs to sleep more but he’s got more energy than usual when he’s awake and it’s all weird.
Cody carrying around toddler Anakin like "God you give me ulcers but you're adorable, you little shit."
Inconveniently tiny body aside, Anakin has a pretty great time in this au. His family are all together and safe and within reach. His wife isn't around, but toddler brain means he doesn't have the Romance Drive, so that's not as bad as it could be It could be significantly worse.
@atagotiak asked: Does Anakin get annoyed about being called cute? - To which I say, He bites the first few times but Shmi tells him that's Naughty so he stops. - Babies are cute so you packbond with them before they’re annoying, Anakin is cute as a self defense mechanism - He’s extra annoying so he needs to be extra cute
You know how you need to keep an eye on toddlers so they don't, like, fall down the stairs or put something toxic in their mouth? - They need to keep an eye on Anakin specifically so he doesn't rewire the ship they're in while they're in hyperspace. - He has less self control on account of being smol. He still has all the mechanical knowledge! Just less comprehension of y’know, consequences.
Anakin, with a sippy cup: This is demeaning. Ahsoka: Your hands don't work great enough to avoid accidents yet. Anakin: It's still embarrassing.
General Kenobi can't just kill Maul, not when Maul is baby right now (sixteen, which is baby enough) so he just. Kinda. Kidnaps a baby Sith. (It's fine. He's fine.)
General Kenobi (not to be confused with Padawan Kenobi) decides to declare Maul his new padawan because someone has to deal with this teenager, and Plo already claimed the rest of Ahsoka's training. And Anakin's three, so.
"What do we do with Maul?" "Eh, I can handle him. I dealt with teenage Anakin getting arrested for illegal pod-racing twice a month, I can work with this."
Maul bites, but only slightly more often than Anakin, it's fine
Ahsoka definitely bullies Maul whenever possible
Consider: Rex holding very still because Anakin wanted to be tall, so he climbed Rex. Being unexpectedly climbed is better than being unexpectedly yeeted. It's still extremely nerve-wracking. - Cody is perfectly capable of running around with a backpacking toddler General, but Rex freezes like a statue. - Ahsoka finds this hilarious
You know how little kids like to be thrown around and swung in circles and stuff like that? This must get even more ridiculous with force users. Can throw a child real high and catch them safely. - Rex panics whenever Ahsoka throws her chibified Master
Literally everyone except Rex loves being yeeted. Even Maul can appreciate a good tactical yeet no shut up he's not having fun this is TRAINING - Rex is Suffering - Cody, a very Tired Dad, deserves to mock his vod'ika a little, as stress relief - Rex, a certified Little Brother, shoves Cody off something tall. Jokes on him, Cody thinks freefall is fun too.
Tia asked: So the people who didn’t exist yet got flung bodily back in time and Anakin did the mental time travel. Why did Obi-Wan not become Padawan Kenobi? (I mean “because I want it that way” is def a good enough answer I’m just wondering if there’s any reason.) - Which, well, it really was mostly "I want to" but here's two options, both of which come down to Blame Daughter and Father. 1. They figured a responsible adult Jedi Master was needed to convince people. 2. Nobody was supposed to get de-aged but Daughter figured they needed to make Anakin less liable to kill things for a few years. - Also IDK the Force God-Manifestations also took away any risk of rapid aging and early death from the clones because uhhhhhhhhhhh I said so
Rex and Ahsoka are fumbling their way through a relationship where ages are just really confusing and awkward, so they're keeping it to just kisses and cuddles for a bit.
Cody is so tired he doesn't even realize anyone's hitting on him until it's been three years of co-parenting with Shmi and his General. - Somehow Anakin knows Cody is in a relationship before Cody does. Cody has never been so embarrassed. - How did he manage to be less observant than Skywalker? -- it was sabotage; all his brain cells were taken up in managing said Skywalker -- Because Skywalker was up at three in the morning whacking a training droid with a stick so he didn't have the energy for Relationships
Also Shmi's come-ons are super subtle, while the General's are... well, Cody's gotten very used to ignoring anything ambiguous on that end because fraternization rules, and also because Obi-Wan flirts a lot with everyone. So.
Please imagine Cody and General Kenobi walking around with Anakin tucked into a toddler sling while they do whatever work they've ended up with at the Temple. - Yes, Cody is helping the Jedi figure out the best plan of attack to take down this slave ring because his grasp on tactics is phenomenal and he knows how to deploy people at greatest efficiency, but also he's got a nosy toddler on his hip who keeps offering his own insane-but-competent ideas. - General Kenobi ends up with a Council Seat just on account of, like, being the kind of person he is. As often as not, he's got Anakin tucked into his robes, chewing on the ear of a stuffed tooka or something.
IDK what Shmi's doing but apparently Legends had it that some of the administrative and support positions in the Temple were held by non-Jedi civilians? So probably something like that.
GENERAL KENOBI LECTURING PADAWAN MAUL WHILE ANAKIN'S BALANCED ON HIS HIP AND GLARING AT MAUL FOR STEALING HIS DAD
General Kenobi: Ahsoka's babysitting. Anakin: I'm her master, I don't need babysitting, this is-- General Kenobi: Fine, then you need supervision, so that you don't blow up a training salle again. Anakin: And you think Ahsoka would stop me? General Kenobi, eye twitching: Fine, I'm leaving you with Plo.
Even if he’s mentally an adult Anakin always needs supervision Look at canon! Anakin was left without supervision for like two days and he became a Sith
Quinlan gets distracted by how attractive General Kenobi is and tells Obi-Wan "dude, you're gonna be so hot once you can get rid of the stupid haircut" and Obi-Wan pushes him into the nearest pond.
They end up with this weird "Uncle Jango" situation (uncle to Anakin, via weird brotherhood-ish to Cody) because Rex and Cody are just like "Uhhhhhhhhh yeah okay" about him eventually, and Jango just like. Drops by. Trying to Earn Affection Of Blood Kin by bringing weird gifts for them and their (ugh) Jedi.
"Okay, Rex'ika, I stopped by Shili--" "What?" "--and apparently this is a delicacy there, so just... your girlfriend will like it." "She's not my girlfriend." "..." "Okay, I can't call her my girlfriend. Jedi have rules about that sort of thing, and--" "This will make your Jedi happy, probably. Just take it, kid."
Baby Anakin got his arm back but for some inexplicable reason still has The Eye Scar. He matches Buir.

They say that time slows down when you’re about to die - that your life flashes before your very eyes. You’re supposed to see the thing you love most, the people you value most. It was meant to be a final moment filled with a lifetime of emotions, of memories; regrets and mistakes; unfulfilled wishes and incomplete to do lists. The way it was described was hauntingly poetic, the sort of thing almost made you want to to experience it just so that you could understand what it felt like.
And, having witnessed a near-death experience in recent hours, you could safely conclude that everything in the aforementioned paragraph was a steaming pile of horse shit.
There was nothing graceful or cinematic about the way you had yeeted yourself across the battle-field, mud unceremoniously flying up around your ass as you kicked Obi-Wan Kenobi out of the line of fire. The blaster fire was inches away from your face - mere inches - and that, of all things, was when you figured the final moments might have come.
Instead, all you got was a hit to the shoulder and a mouth full of dirt. You were very much alive - but after coughing up an unflattering amount of earth and clambering back to your feet with all the grace of a beached whale, the same could not be said for your dignity.
At the forefront of things, you’d been trying to save your best friend’s life. That was all you could think about when you’d launched yourself discourteously towards Obi-Wan; he couldn’t die. Too many people - yourself included - needed him. And, you were certain that if you hadn’t been killed saving his ass, the sudden lack of reason from his presence in your life would have killed you anyways. The man stopped you from walking into traffic on the daily.
You weren’t entirely sure what to say to Obi-Wan. You were sitting on the end of his bed, fresh out of the shower and bundled up in an oversized tunic that belonged to the man pacing in front of you. For a man of many words, he was disturbingly quiet as he stitched you up and even more so when he helped you undress and get into the shower.
What sort of thing were you supposed to say in this situation? Sorry that I booted you up the arse and sent you flying six foot through the air? I had your best interests at heart, I promise.
‘Personally, I am rather pleased with the fact I am still alive.’ You broke the icy silence that had befallen you. Obi-Wan immediately stopped in his pacing tracks, head turning to face you with a bewildered look. Maybe that wasn’t the best conversation opener.
‘How could you…’ Obi-Wan went to say something but his words were lost. He’d witnessed you do a lot of stupid things but this one took the cake. This was stupid thing to end all stupid things. ‘Why would you - actually, I don’t even know what to say.’
‘I mean a thank you would probably suffice.’ You muttered. ‘I did just take a bullet for you.’
‘How could you have been so stupid?!’ He snapped. ‘You could have died!’
‘I was trying to save you!’ You reminded him.
Right. There was that - the alarmingly obvious thing that he’d been trying not to think about.
Obi-Wan couldn’t deny his feelings for you; you’d always been his slightly kooky best friend but maker, he adored you. Life as a Jedi could be dark but you were his nightlight - a soft glow to guide him to brighter things, to remind him that not all was lost.
He’d spent hours convincing himself that you didn’t feel the same. You were too busy running around with what Obi-Wan was certain was a singular brain cell, getting yourself into trouble and making questionable decisions. But, now that you’d quite literally thrown yourself into the line of fire for him? It was certainly a compelling piece of evidence to the contrary.
(Of course, you loved him too. You’d been in love with him since the day you’d met. That was a minor detail you’d chosen not to mention to him - avoiding the truth wasn’t the same as lying, right?)
‘I don’t need saving.’ Obi-Wan said.
‘Oh, please.’ You snorted. ‘You might be Jedi Master Kenobi of the High Jedi Council, Best Jedi To Ever Jedi and Regular Shagger of the Jedi Code-’
‘- you used the word Jedi a few too many times there-’
‘- but you are not bulletproof!’
‘Neither are you!’
‘But I’m alive, aren’t I?’ Your tone was suddenly soft. ‘I’m in one piece.’
‘Barely.’ He murmured. ‘You can’t do things like that.’
‘Well, I did.’ You would have raised your voice louder had your shoulder not been screaming in pain. ‘And stomping around like a pissy toddler isn’t going to change it.’
The most terrifying part - for both of you, truthfully speaking - was how quickly you had done it. You hadn’t even thought about it; you saw red and you launched yourself into the blaster’s path without even considering the consequences. The most important thing to you in that moment had been that Obi-Wan’s life was at risk and it had led to a sudden disregard for your own.
‘I’ll get better.’ You continued. ‘I’m only signed off for a few weeks and as soon as I’m on the mend I will be back in the field. It’ll be like nothing ever happened-’
‘- but it did happen.’ Obi-Wan cut you off. ‘I’m always going to remember that you risked your life for me without even having to think about it.’
Grabbing onto the poster of his bed, you pulled yourself up and slowly approached him. Obi-Wan almost backed away when his robe inched off your shoulders, revealing the nasty red gash just by your collarbone. The idea quickly slipped away, however, when you rested your hands on his forearms, hands slipping under his sleeves and intertwining your fingers.
‘What else would I do?’ You softly laughed. ‘It’s you, Obi.’
‘Would you have done the same for someone else?’ He asked. ‘For Anakin? Or for Ahsoka?’
You faltered slightly, grip on him loosening a tiny bit. ‘Of course.’
‘Y/N.’
‘What?’
‘Don’t lie.’ He suddenly jerked his hands away from you, spinning around on his heel so that you were suddenly facing his back.
‘Fine.’ You grumbled. ‘I would only do it for you. I would only blindly throw myself in front of a bullet for you. Not anyone else. Not a single soul. Does that make you happy? Does that inflate your ego enough, Kenobi-’
‘- that’s not what this is about.’
‘Then tell me!’ You let out a small groan of pain as you grabbed him by the material of his shirt, using every last ounce of energy to make him look at you again. ‘Tell me what it’s about because you are not making sense and I am the world’s leading expert in that field.’
‘It’s not about anything.’
‘Oh, bullshit!’ You whacked his arm, adrenaline worming its way into your tired body and finally allowing you to raise your voice. ‘I just saved your fucking life and you’re acting like a moody son of a bitch and accusing me of lying!’
‘It’s because I love you!’
‘Well, I love you too!’
‘Great!’
‘Fine!’
‘Wonderful!’
‘Brilliant!’
‘Well I’m glad we cleared that up!’
‘Me too!’
‘We should probably stop shouting!’
‘Good idea!’
You unballed your fists just in time to catch the material of Obi-Wan’s shirt as he stepped towards you, taking you by the waist and pulling you towards him. He crashed his lips into yours, knocking the air from your lungs as he did. You’d thought about kissing him many times - more than you were willing to admit, actually - but now that you were actually here, with a handle tangled in his soft hair and his warm lips moving against yours?
Nothing could have prepared you for this moment - for the declaration of love or the kiss or the way he was holding onto you, hands desperately gripping to your waist as though you were about to slip away into the darkness of the galaxy and leave him alone forever. Just a few hours ago, that had been a very real possibility.
You’d admitted to yourself earlier that you probably couldn’t have survived in a world without Obi-Wan Kenobi. Little did you know that he’d admitted to himself years before that he couldn’t have survived without you.
‘I love you.’ His words were softer now, barely a whisper against your lips as pressed his forehead to yours.
‘If I’d known that almost dying was all it took to make you tell me, I would have done it years-’
‘-Y/N.’ He groaned.
‘Sorry.’ You smiled softly. ‘I love you too.’

Seeing how Maul's TCW arc panned out and how more often than not epsiodes with him were clearly written to benefit the main Jedi cast/put the main cast in a better light (I seriously wonder whether Felony only came up with the Mandalore arc to say that his darling Ashoka, whom I love but who also honestly suffers from the favoritism at times, beat the by Felony much disliked Maul), what kind of changes would you have liked to see to his overall arc? Do you think he should have gone about Mandalore/Satine as he did or did you think this was already pushing it to unecessary extremes?
And also; what do you think of the removed/extended scene from The Lawless in which Savage and Maul fight Sidious (the one were Maul, while still losing at least can push back a little back, which imo was actually a clever way to justify Sheev showing up personally, as he might not have trusted Dooku with taking on Maul alone)?
Just curious to hear from a quasi-Maul-expert
Well, first, I'm not quasi anything, I'm totally a Maul expert. -grins- If we define 'expert' as 'having vacuumed up every available piece of canon and Legends material about him absent only S7', anyway. But aside that completely unnecessary flex, my Nonny-friend--
I think that if I were going to resurrect him and stick with him spending twelve years skittering around as a trash spider, I would have spent way more time on character work and less time on 'let's set him up so various people could beat him up'. I would have made his major psychotic break a feature instead of something Talzin supposedly magicked away because mental health doesn't work that way.
I would have probably explored a lot more of his backstory in conjunction with his episodes -- as I mentioned before, Wrath was actually written to coincide with said resurrection, so the framework was there and intentionally published to go with it -- and I would have really tried harder to make his actual actions post-Lotho Minor line up with his prior characterization. Which was-- Maul was fucking clueless, okay? He was a ridiculous, brainwashed twenty-two year old punk when Kenobi cut him down. (Yes, he was beautiful, yes he did shit like talk to birds and save random teenagers in prison hellscapes, yes he ordered plain water in a bar, yes I love him so damn much, but he was still a ridiculous, twenty-two year old punk.) Sidious had been, by that point, just basically training him to do dirty work, but also making sure that Maul could never function in normal society well enough to be any part of Sidious's ultimate plans. Or, for that matter, to effectively warn anyone else about what he did know. If he were so inclined and not, you know, brainwashed from practically birth.
So, while I do think that Maul, after twelve years as a trash spider, would be able to and willing to kill Satine to hurt Obi-Wan, I don't think he would have the guile to manipulate Death Watch and take over Mandalore to even get to her. Or maybe even figure out that she was a key to hurting Obi-Wan. Not because I don't think he's intelligent. He really actually is quite so. But because he has no experience whatsoever in his history that would suggest he'd even think of that course of action. That takes a kind of cunning Maul just hasn't ever practiced before in his life. Not in Legends, and NOT EVEN IN DISNEY CANON (!!!). So, uh-- where did this sudden guile and interpersonal cunning even come from? Well? Bueller?
More realistically, Maul would have stayed with his brother. Maybe Talzin would have given him the magical equivalent of a shot of anti-psychotics and made him just barely functional enough, but honestly, I'd think it would wear off. He would display his damage way more openly, because again-- twelve years, literally in half, as a trash spider! I think Savage could have been his saving grace; get him away from all these things that could set him off. My ideal scenario would be Maul and Savage, somewhere way the fuck away from other beings, working through their respective damage together and learning how to be brothers. But, of course, that doesn't really sell... does it?
Anyway, I thought Maul did a damn fine job standing up to Sidious -- regardless of however I feel about various characterization choices! -- because he outlasted several of the Jedi Council while up against his own Master. The guy who literally brought the galaxy to its knees. That takes some damn skill. People tend to not really give him much credit, alas.
Do I think Filoni set it up so his fave could win? Yeah. Could she have realistically? No. Because again, Maul's not fucking stupid. Even he, even nuts, even buried in the darkside, would by then learn not to underestimate an opponent. So using the same tired excuse for why he keeps losing is just-- old and really shoddy writing. Lazy.
Anyway, there ya go. My rambling thoughts about Maul and where I might have taken him.

Cody + 16??
Tumblr media
Snippets of Time
Characters: Cody x Reader
Note: Thankyou nonny for this request, I was having a little bit of trouble of how to encapsulate the kinda vibe i wanted to go for, not sure if it landed. But i decided to do a few snippets of a little friendship with our lovely commander and a reader throughout the Clone Wars. Let me know what you think! I love when people do that! Also, fair warning, kinda gets a bit sad, but thats chill.
Prompt 16: “That you will be by my side to see me through” ~ You and I, Jacob Collier
A little bit about this song: This is some classic Jacob Collier arranging, very spooky, also uplifting and got them good jazz chords. Listen to it here

Introductions
Cody had met Obi-wan proceeding the battle of Geonosis, easily getting along, Obi-wan’s cool quick wit complimenting Cody’s serious but loyal nature. Obi-wan and Cody got along well, but the Marshall Commander had a softer spot for his own Jedi Commander.
He remembered the time that Obi-wan had brought you with him for the first time, a strong senior Padawan, who had already lost one master, but still seemed jovial and effervescent. He watched with skepticism as you gazed at the vastness of the the hangar bay of the Negotiator, looking around as if you had never been outside the temple. Obi-wan was quick and cool, but you seemed different, somewhat of a mystery to the Clone.
In the beginning, Cody stayed out of your way. After all what would a Jedi want with the likes of him. Plus he had a quarter of an army to run, but your paths crossed every now and then, each time more of the mystery of your character unfogging.
The light of the holo-table cast a blue hue over your stern features. Cody could see the stern lines deepen as the council outlined the battle strategy. Cody did not much like it, the plan was too risky, but he let it go. This was not his time to speak. Master Mundi finished speaking, opening the up the floor for questions. There was a slight pause as the heads, both real and holographic panned around the room. You took the slightest step forward.
“This plan, while it would achieve our goal is irresponsible” You voice was matter-of-fact, leaving no room for doubt.
“Is that so?” Master Windu turned to you, dissatisfaction clear. “And why would that be?”
“Too many lives lost, lives we have a duty to protect.” You put it simply
“But the civilians would be saf—“
“Clone lives” you clarified.
The silence spreading throughout the briefing room was deafening. Obi-Wan took a deep breath and pinched his nose, the council members looked at each other in irritation, their nonchalance being called out. Cody smiled inwardly. A Jedi commander who would go to bat for his boys. Maybe you were something he could get behind.
Medical Mischief
He was beaten, he was bruised. Yet he limped with resolve to the one place he could hurt in comfort: His quarters. One foot in front of the other, the commander’s attempt to look uninjured was laughable. He heard giggling from behind him and the Marshall Commander turned back to see you, hand over mouth, trying to cover you snickering. Cody groaned.
“What’re you laughing at?”
You tried to regain your composure. “You.”
“No shit.” Cody was not impressed, bothered at the interuption to his escape plans.
“You see the boys had mentioned something,” You began to stroll over casually, mischief in your eye. “You know, I didn’t believe them when they told me, I always thought you were such a good example for your men.” You had Cody’s undivided attention now, “They said you hated the medbay, never go when you’re supposed to. And I thought to myself, ‘Hmmm not on my watch.’”
Cody hadn’t noticed that you had slipped an arm around his and had began to shepherd him in the direction of his favourite place on the ship.
“Hey, stop! Let go!” He tried to wriggle out of your grip, but you ploughed on, resolute in your gait, easily overcoming the poor limping man.
“No can do Commander, you have an image to uphold.”
Interlude
Time went on, the war continued to wage in the furthest corners of the galaxy and you and Cody found your rhythm. You became an inseparable team on and off the battlefield. Both leading from the front, you managed to get the 501st through some of the most risky of assaults.
You balanced each other out.
You learnt a lot from Cody over the years. How to punch a droid sucessfully, how to patch up a bruise after you had punched a droid. He showed you how to be a good leader and helped you grow in your confidence as a Commander. But you, in turn, showed him things.
He always made sure that you were okay after a campaign, and so you developed a little ritual. You taught Cody how to meditate. You would bring him into your quarters and practice your deep breathing together, centring yourself in the moment. It became a staple in both of your routines and it was the way you both aired out your grievances and let them go to the universe.
You grew close, everyone could see it.
You were like family to Cody, and maker help the galaxy if anything ever happened to you.
Knighting
He wasn’t allowed to go to the ceremony. It was for Jedi only. You had been so nervous leading up to your trials. He knew you could do it, and he was not surprised in the slightest when you came bounding into his quarters, barreling him over in a bear hug, screaming that you’d passed.
But he couldn’t go to the ceremony.
He sat staring at his boring grey walls, wondering what was going on. Was Obi-Wan there? What were you thinking about right now? What things happened in a Jedi Knighting ceremony? His contemplation on these questions was half-baked at best, his mind wandering to the future.
The war was at a critical point, the senate’s order for new clones was ready, Cody knew they needed more Jedi Generals, and none came with better credentials than you. You would be a credit to any battalion, they would be lucky troopers. But they were not Cody’s troopers.
He didn’t hear his door open.
“Cody?” Your face cast in shadow as you were outlined by the glow of the ship light. You voiced pulled Cody from his questionings.
“Hmm?” He looked up. “Ah, how did it go?”
“Good,” You walked into his room and sat down next to him on his bed. “I have something to say to you.”
“I know.”
“I’m gonna miss you.” The emotion cracking the edges of your voice. Cody  wrapped an arm around you. “You’ll never be too far away.” Cody managed to give you a bit of a half-smile. You sat there together taking in each other’s presence for what you knew would be for the last time for a long time.
“I have something for you.” You broke the silence by reaching back around to grab at something. It was a small wooden box. You shoved it at the Marshall Commander and he opened it.
“Your padawan braid?” Cody looked at you, a mixture of confusion and awe.
“Something to remember me by, you’ll always have a little piece of me with you no matter how many light years apart we are.”
Cody smiled, and pulled you into a hug.
Aftermath.
You couldn’t remember the name of the planet you were on when you felt it. It was like all the energy in your body being forcibly pushed out of you. Your ears rang with the screams and it was almost as if the ground began to lilt under you feet.
Something was wrong, but you didn’t know what.
You hadn’t clued to the first signs, comms going unanswered, whispers around the native colonies. It was when you saw the Holonet report of the Jedi betraying the Republic when you knew you were in trouble.
At first it wasn’t so bad, you kept a low profile and no one really bothered you, you looked like any other traveller passing through. But then the troopers started to show up, but not in the armour you were used to. Similar enough to go unnoticed by most people, but strange enough to send your survival instincts into overdrive.
But it wasn’t safe.
Especially on the day you saw your picture, a smiling Jedi Knight, plastered on the wall of an unassuming business, labelling you as a traitor and offering a reward.
That’s when you began your new life, with a new appearance, a new name, never staying in one place for more than a few weeks. It was tiring, but it was what needed to be done.
….
You had been watching the holo waves weeks now. Imperial propaganda rife. Disgust had made its home in the back of your throat as you looked upon the force fed narratives on the web. But everyday you checked it religiously, looking for information about what happened at the end of the clone wars, why you were being hunted down.
Talk of a legendary clone wars commander coming to your planet to recruit piqued you interest.
It was dangerous, if it was the man you thought it would be, if the empire found out you were there. But you had to go.
You kept your distance from him. But you knew, without a doubt it was him, his scar, his gait. But the warmth was gone from his eyes. You tailed him, following him away from the carnival and back to his room before you confronted him.
“Cody.”
His shoulders stiffened. He slowly turned around to see who was in the door.
“CC-2224 now” His voice was proper, like when he gave an order. You brow furrowed in confusion, you didn’t quite know what has happening.
“Cody, what’s happening?” You were desperate and confused, in front of the one person who could help you make send of the mess. You moved to hug him around the middle as you dissolved into tears.
You didn’t register it in time.
The hard barrel of Cody’s pistol pressing into you side. You felt the heat of the blaster bolt and looked up at your Best friend, your brother, with pathetically wide eyes.
“I’m sorry Y/N, but good soldiers follow orders.” There was no remorse in his voice, almost the slightest hint of pleasure.
It was the last thing you heard, before your vision frayed, the pounding in your ears became too much and your world faded to black.

soooooo here is yet another thing that won't leave me alone!
Force Visions, Pirates, and Mandalorians - Oh My!
----
Obi-Wan Kenobi has a Force vision and sees Jedi Younglings being captured to be sold into slavery, and he knows without a doubt that he needs to do something about it, even if no one but his close friends will believe him. He's been in that position before, where ignoring a vision led to some of the worst moments of his sixteen short years. He also knows that he only has a short amount of time before the events in his vision come to pass, and that he's going to have to do some outrageously illegal things, lie to the Council, and possibly get himself captured on purpose. If he also happens to help rescue a couple of missing Mandalorians, too? Well, obviously the Force just has it out for him, plain and simple.
----
Obi-Wan woke up with a scream lodged in his throat.
He had flashes of what he had seen coming in and out of focus, all of it in pieces and not in any way coherent. Obi-Wan took a few deep breaths, in-for-five, out-for-seven, until he felt he marginally calmer.
He knew how to break down his visions, how to heed the warnings, and he also knew that if he told any of the Masters they would simply repeat back the same mantra: always in motion, the future is.
What a bunch of bantha-shit, Obi-Wan thought, still somewhat upset.
All his life he had experienced extremely harrowing and traumatizing visions, and so far, all of them had come true bar the ones he could tell were decades off; he knew which ones those were because he had seen himself, older, more tired, with strange armor and even more strangely armored people at his back (these visions just made him confused because what use would a Jedi have for armor, let alone when would he even come into contact with people who looked like walking weapons factories?)
The vision that woke him up, however, was the terrifying kind. On one hand Obi-Wan knew that he needed to take a step back and meditate on the vision so he could take apart the warnings, make note of who was involved and where it took place. On the other hand...he had felt the fear, the grief, the abject terror that had saturated his vision, and he really did not want to re-experience that.
But he knew that he wouldn't get any sort of peace until he figured it out, and he knew from past experience that ignoring the vision would not only lead to it coming to fruition, but possibly something worse. He reluctantly got out of bed and into the 'fresher, getting ready for the day even though it wasn't even first light.
I won't be able to go back to sleep after that, he groused.
As he went about his morning routine, Obi-Wan remembered when he had ignored a vision like this, when he had dismissed it as fearful thinking of a rejected Initiate sent off to be a farmer. He thought it impossible, that something as Dark as a Fallen Jedi would have been known and taken care of by the Order's ever-elusive Shadows, if not the Jedi Council themselves. He didn't think that a slave-operation would have been able to practically be in the open on a Republic-aligned world, either.
His faith in that ever-enduring mantra was shattered when he found himself in chains, in a bomb-collar on a deep-sea mine on Bandomeer. When the person who at one point would have been his Padawan-Brother had put the collar on Obi-Wan with a mocking laugh, the Dark Side nearly suffacating him until the Force itself was cut off by shackles snapping shut around his wrists.
I should have heeded the warnings of the vision - if I had, I could have told Master Jinn and he could have stopped Xanatos sooner! Or I would have messaged the Council, the Agri-Corps members, or anyone, that something was wrong! he had thought, panicked and afraid, so very very afraid of what was to happen next.
(Obi-Wan's faith in Master Jinn, however, hadn't been shaken until he was fresh off the battlefield of child soldiers and having spent nearly a year fighting a war, but Obi-Wan shoved that train of thought straight back into the Force.)
Obi-Wan had spent months in chains, trying so very hard to stay alive, and every single moment he had promised himself, that if he escaped this hell alive, he would always heed his visions, to try and understand what they were warning him, so that something like this wouldn't happen again.
And it's with that particular thought in mind that he made his way out of his room and to the Room of a Thousand Fountains. They were overflowing with serenity, something he sorely needed to begin unravelling his vision. Thankfully, his Master was off-planet on a solo-mission, and Obi-Wan's shields were stronger than durasteel - to survive what he'd been through, he had to get better at shielding or he would have died before ever becoming a Padawan.
Not even Master Windu - youngest Councilor ever, creator of the Vapaad - had been able to get passed his shields that hid the full extent of what had happened to him after his missions the past few years.
He made his way to one of his favorite spots, a secluded grove set in the highest part of the Room. He very much enjoyed this spot - it was too high for Younglings to safely venture and too much of a hassle for more adventurous Initiates or Padawans to try to get to. Most Masters didn't bother trying to seclude themselves as even Crèchelings knew not to disturb those meditating.
With a sigh, Obi-Wan settled into the roots of the large Veshok tree, reached into the Force -
- a feeling of anticipation, excitement, slight fear and wonder surrounded all of the Jedi Younglings, Initiates, on their way to Ilum -
- ice, so cold, why is it so cold? And a song, beckoning him to come closer, to take it away from the cold and be warm at last, a bright golden light -
- he's got another lightsaber crystal that he can immediately tell is for a shoto blade, but why? His Master had never been interested in him learning Jar'Kai, but now it seems as if he will have to because the thought of leaving his newly acquired crystal makes him want to scream -
- the return trip has a feeling of foreboding and oh, oh, he can feel that this is where it goes wrong, that this is what he needs to be prepared for because the Master and their Padawan were very much not, and the Knight-Pilot only just getting them and most, but not all, of the Initiates out -
- he feels the ship that they're in come to a screeching stop, pirates (pirates, why does it have to be pirates?) boarding with manic glee, calling out "take the baby wizards, we'll get a lot more for them" and that causes alarm to spike because they weren't just pirates they were slavers because of-karking-course they were -
- he watches as the Master and Padawan try to protect the Younglings, but there are too many pirates swarming their ship, and he knows what he needs to do as the pirates grab three of the Initiates; he launches himself at them and Force Pushes so hard that the nearest slavers are shoved back onto their own ship, and he's shouting at the other Jedi to get out of there with the younglings that they managed to save -
- he leaps into the other ship after the captured Initiates and hauls all three close to him in the slavers' ship, baring his slightly too-sharp teeth, praying that he can protect them but the pirates are so angry at the loss of profit and the Initiates are so scared and it's all he can do to not break -
- and then he's in a cell, the Initiates in Force cuffs next to him, with cuffs on his own wrists and gods please no, not this again, but he has to be strong because he's been here before but the Younglings haven't and he will not let another child die, not again -
- a woman with dark brown skin, along with a young Pantoran male, an older human male, and others bound in chains that he couldn't see, are being dragged in, screaming that they'll kick their hut'uun'la shebs when they get free, that the Mand'alor will kill them all for taking one of the Ad'be'Mand'alor, their captors' nervous laughter ringing in the background -
Obi-Wan comes back to himself, crying and gasping, the sense of dread nearly overtaking him.
"Breathe, Obi, you gotta breathe for me, c'mon that's it."
The voice cuts through his panic and he listens, breathing slowly evening out. Obi-Wan takes a moment, or a few, to collect himself, looking up from his hands to the sight of warm brown skin, black hair in dreadlocks with clasps of varying colors dotted throughout, and a bright yellow tattoo on a face hovering closely in front of his.
"Quin," he whispers.
Quinlan Vos: his best friend, closest confidant, and partner-in-crime.
"Hey, Obi. Wanna tell me what you Saw?" Quinlan asks, quietly and without pressuring him.
Obi-Wan pauses, thinks for a moment about what he's going to say. He'll definitely tell Quinlan, because he's one hundred percent sure that he's going to need his best friend's help, it's just - how's he going to explain that he knows something bad is going to happen, that he knows he's going to end up in chains once again, that he needs to start practicing Jar'Kai now so he can be ready for when this vision comes to pass?
Quinlan waits, slowly rubbing his hand in a soothing pattern down his friend's shoulders, then nearly breaks Obi-Wan's arms with the next words that come out of his mouth:
"One: I'm going to need to start learning Jar'Kai. Two: I need to know how to break Force cuffs without the Force. Three: I'm going to need to learn how to slice into ships, databanks, and anything else. Four: I need to learn basic Force-Healing. And Five: I need to know what or who the hell a Mand'alor is and why slavers would be nervous at the mere mention of the word."
Quinlan balks, but only for a moment, because this is Obi-Wan, and weird Force shit always happens to him so he shouldn't be surprised at this point.
"It seems that we've got to start preparing for the worst, doesn't it?"

You Belong with Me. - Anakin Skywalker x reader
Unisex.
⚠️Warnings: the reader says goddamn.
3113 words
Tumblr media
This day started the same as any other day. You woke from your small room that was very high up in the Jedi Temple. You got out of bed and got ready for the monotonous day a head of you. You took a quick shower, got out and dried off. The only thing you took extra time on was your Padawan braid. You wore it with pride no matter how bad you hated it and couldn't wait to become a master to chop it off. Throwing your robes on quickly, you headed for the door. You only had an hour before your meeting with your master and the council. You wouldn't dare be late but you had gotten back from a mission very late the night before and hadn't eaten in days, so you headed to the dining hall to grab something quick like a meiloorun and some juice.
You had hoped to run into some friends along the way since you hadn't been home in a while. Your two best friends were Anakin and Makenna. Both extraordinary Jedi and your most favorite people in the world. But to no avail that's not who you ran into.
"(Y/N)! Oh I am so glad to see you've made it back safely!" Padmé says running up and embracing you in a rather tight hug. "When did you get in?"
"We got back last night. I would've told you but it was very late." You say breaking the hug and awkwardly crossing your arm to hold the other. You had known Padmé for a long time. You once had to escort her back to her home planet on Naboo for a mission, so you had gotten to know much about her. But it seemed no matter how polite and gentle she was a part of you was always a little intimidated by her. After all she was one of the most beautiful women in the galaxy and to top it off, a senator. You couldn't help but stare at the floor when talking to her, almost as if her beauty was blinding.
"Ani will be so glad to hear you're back." She said rubbing the arm you were holding. You suddenly sensed the feeling of worry coming from Padmé. You look up into her sorrrow felled eyes.
"What is it?" You ask. She makes a you-already-know face towards you and you bring your hand up to pinch the bridge of your nose. "The dreams again?"
"Unfortunately. But you know he won't tell me about them." She now puts her head down shaking it side to side. "It's just- I don't know why he can't talk to me, I'm his-" she smiled down at the floor shaking her head, "Apart from that I'm glad he has you! You are his best friend!" You cringe at her last sentence. You loved being Anakin's best friend but an even bigger part of you wants so much more. You've never felt in competition with Padmé because there's no contest. He would pick her every time and you couldn't blame him. She wore the most extravagant dresses credit could buy and you were in your tolerable, baggy Jedi attire.
"Okay well just tell him to come find me later." Your mind was being overcome with ill-mannered comments about how she didn't deserve him but you kept quiet. "Shall I escort you to the dining hall?" You hold your arm out to walk Padmé down the long corridor to the dining hall.
"Oh this is perfect! I was just heading that way to speak with Ani. You may join us." Padmé says as if you had no choice, but you didn't like being around them when they were together. You were consumed with jealousy when he, or she, made advances towards one another. Anakin would always look at her so lovingly as he caressed Padmé face, she'd blush and reveal her bewitching smile. Neither of them knew your feeling a towards Anakin. You pushed your feelings deep deep down but you were afraid if you got too jealous you wouldn't be able to stop Anakin from sensing your emotions.
"Thank you for the offer, Padmé. But I'm going to be in a bit of a rush seeing as though I have a meeting with the council in just a few minutes, so I'm just gonna sit by myself to not distract myself." What you said didn't make sense in your head and it didn't sound any better coming out. You didn't know what else to tell her though. Hey Padmé I can't sit with you because I'm madly in love with your boyfriend. Absolutely not.
"Oh, okay! That's fine. I'll just have him find you later." You could sense something was off about Padmé again but this time you weren't sure what.
Once you got into the dining hall your eyes overtly go to Anakin sitting by himself. Your breath hitched in your throat at the mere sight of him. You started to feel your cheeks warm up as you blush. You then clear your throat and tell Padmé goodbye before she makes her way to Anakin. You grabbed your breakfast and sat just behind them at another table. You didn't want to sit with them but you wanted to hear their conversation.
Padmé was upset with him, that much you knew. She kept saying things like; you always do this, how dare you and even sometimes I question our alliance.
She was talking about their marriage. She doesn't know you know about their marriage but you did. When Anakin told you he was so happy. You faked it for hours then finally excused yourself to your room and almost drown in your own tears. He talked about wanting to marry her but that's not the Jedi way so you thought nothing of it. You didn't talk to either of them for weeks. Your master knew of your feelings for Anakin, so she helped you out by telling them you were on a mission when in reality you were so emotionally weak you could barely move a muscle.
"Hey you're back!" You heard your friend Makenna from over your shoulder. You shushed her still trying to ease drop on Anakin and Padmé. "Oh shit what'd I miss?" She asked trying to get the dirt on their relationship. Makenna also knew about their marriage because you told her. You had to tell her. You weren't eating, you weren't sleeping and her being your best friend you couldn't keep it from her any longer.
"They're fighting." You say in a hushed tone.
"Oh yeah. They've been fighting for weeks now. Ever since you left actually." Makenna said.
"Do you know why?" You ask out of curiosity.
"Just Anakin being Anakin. I heard that he has been disagreeing with the council again and," she got closer to your ear to whisper a little softer, "he's been disappearing randomly. Like he's supposed to be on a mission right now with Obi-Wan, but no one could find him. He's in a lot of trouble right now and Padmé has been livid. They're constantly at each other's throats."  Makenna took a sip of your juice after telling you the recent gossip. Your stomach twisted at the emotions you could feel coming from Anakin. He was stressed, anxious, tired and furious all at the same time. The tension made you feel sick.  You turned your focus back to Makenna to distract yourself from getting sick.
"Doesn't help that he's having the dreams again." You say making her eyes grow huge.
"Again?! What of this time?" She asked.
"I don't know yet. Padmé just filled me in on it. She says he won't talk to her about them, as usual. If he can't even open up to her then why is he with her? Can't he see that I'm the one who understands him?" You say putting your head down now starring at the table. You start to think back to the nights when Anakin would cry himself to sleep in your bed. How you'd comb through is hair with your fingers and watch him sleep. He never slept peacefully but there were those few seconds in between his conscious and unconscious state. Where his head was filled with nothing but the peace of silence, before the dreaming and after the breakdown. Those were the little moments you lived for with Anakin. I wondered if Padmé had every really looked at him the way you do. You doubted it though. Seeing as their relationship is so hidden it's almost like they keep it a secret from each other as well. They always asked for you to join them in whatever they were doing because they didn't like being alone together. And Anakin isn't the only one who keeps secrets in that toxic relationship. He tells you all the time about the secrets she keeps in her head. He, sometimes, even reads her mind because the deceitfulness becomes too much to bare. At this point you're starring at them. They're still fighting but they're covering it up with fake smiles.
"Hey?" Makenna says nudging your arm, "He's a boy. Chosen one or not. And boys are stupid. They see one pretty girl and think they're in love. You and I clearly know that he should be with you but he's not because he's a stupid boy. So, get over him, move on. Stop letting him hold you back from living your life, (Y/N)." Makenna started rubbing your back soothingly and you nodded towards her. She was right. Anakin never showed interest in you and only came to you for his problems. No more.
"You know what? You're right." You say standing up now. "I- I have been living in Padmé's shadow trying to compete and for what? He has never looked at me twice. I'm done. You say angrily in a hushed tone trying not to draw attention. "Thank you, my friend. I have to go now. I have a stupid council meeting." You rub her shoulder in gratitude and head out of the dining hall. When you open the doors to the corridor it almost felt as though you were walking into your new life. A life of no Anakin. It definitely scarred you but it also felt like something you should've done a long time ago.
—————— Night Time
After the council meeting you had a very good day. Your master gave you the day to do as you pleased sense you had been on your last mission for so long. So you just did stuff to kill time and to avoid Padmé and Anakin. Neither of them ever really went to the training arena so that's where you spent most of the day. You trained along side a fellow Padawan, Kham. Kham was a couple inches taller than you but not quite as tall as Anakin. He had darker hair and blue eyes that went with his beautiful dark complexion. It had been rumored for a while that he had a crush on you but you never got that vibe from him. To you you guys were nothing more than just friends.
After training and hanging out for a while he asked if he could walk you back to your apartment. You said yes not wanting to be rude and to also not walk alone. You guys were telling corny jokes and making each other laugh until you got to your front door. There sat Anakin against the wall awaiting your arrival. When he looked up to see you walking with Kham you saw his face contort into a rage. Was he jealous? No he couldn't be. What was there to be jealous of? You were you and nothing more than a best friend to him.
"Anakin." You say greeting him with a nod. For once you weren't happy to see him. At this point you wouldn't mind if you never saw him again. Just the sight of him enraged you.
"(Y/N)." he said back to you in an angered tone, "Kham." He greeted Kham as well. "I've been waiting here for well over an hour." He spat at you as if to make you feel bad. Kham felt the tension between the two of you.
"Okay, I'm gonna go. Anakin," he nodded. "Good to see you and (Y/N) I'll see you tomorrow." He says giving you a sweet smile. You smile back in response and he leaves you with Anakin. Great.
"Why didn't you tell me you were home. I had to find out from Padmé." He says jumping right into an argument.
"Sorry dad we got back late." You say.
"What's tomorrow?" Anakin asked. In reference to what Kham had said to you.
"A word to describe the upcoming day." You say sarcastically knowing exactly how he'd respond. You didn't care though. You simply walked past him and into your apartment.
"You know exactly what I mean. What is wrong with you?" He asks annoyed with your new attitude towards him.
"Are you really here to find out what's wrong with me or for me to be your emotional support blanket? Come here Ani let me soak up every ounce of frustration and anger you feel so you can feel better about yourself." You're tone had gotten louder. You didn't care if the entire temple could hear you. You were just glad that you were finally sticking up for yourself.
"Oh, so now my emotions annoy you?" He says way too dramatically for your taste.
"No Anakin that's not what I'm saying. I'm annoyed that that's all we talk about now. Ever sense Padmé came into the picture all I get from you is your emotional, sad, depressed state and the second you feel better you run right back to her. I'm exhausted Ani. I'm exhausted. I can't do this anymore." You say turning your back to him to not show him the tears you're holding back.
"Well, if that's how you feel then fine. I'll go." You could hear him head to the door but you wanted him to hear everything you had to say because you didn't know if you'd have the guts to say it again.
"You know- I used to think you hung the goddamn moon and all the stars, Ani. I so obviously loved you and you couldn't careless. For years I have been by your side through all your ups and downs and I got nothing in return. You never greet me when I come home from missions but oh- I didn't show up one time when you came home and you didn't talk to me for a week. So you go Anakin because I'm done. I can't take it anymore of this emotional abuse. I- I can't." You could feel the pooling tears in your eyes start to full. The tears you wept were not for him but for you. They symbolized everything you held back from him all these years. You were overwhelmed but relieved to finally be done with the charade and excited to be your own person again, if you ever were to begin with.
Anakin was frozen in his tracks still looking at the door. You cried silently not wanting him to stay and comfort you. You also knew he needed time to process everything you just told him. You'd never talked to Anakin that way and you wish you didn't have to. You wondered if he would indeed just leave. You wondered if he'd say absolutely nothing and walk out the door. But he didn't. All Anakin did was turn swiftly on his feet. Now starring at you he puts one foot in front of the other as if he was going to walk over to you. He stops as if he were still numb by your words.
"You think after all this time I didn't know you loved me? If you didn't love me why would you stay up with me all those nights just to talk? I've always known." He pauses for a moment. You just stare at him in confusion. Were your feelings a game to him? You wondered unto he spoke again. "Even after all this time and all those late nights you never once realized how crazy an- and insanely in love I am with you?" You gasped at his words throwing your hand over your mouth. "I never show up when you come home because I get too nerves to see you and when you come home hurt I- I lose my mind. When you didn't show up that one time I thought you needed space. When I saw you with Kham I almost lost it." Everything he said was music to your ears except the last part. He's jealous of a guy you're not even dating?
"Your jealous of Kham? That's funny, um, how about your wife? How do you think that makes me feel? I have to see you guys together constantly. If you love me so much then why do you torture me? Why did you marry her?" You wipe a tear away aggressively trying to appear stronger than you feel.
"Because I don't have to worry about her as much. Before her you're all I thought about day and night, which I still do. I thought being with her would help me get over you. Every time you go on a mission I'm scarred it'll be your last. I can't think straight or concentrate on anything when you're gone. You're my rock." He walked towards you now at a steady pace. Your tempted to take a step back but you don't. You just stare at Anakin until he fills in the empty space between you.
"I love you, (Y/N). I have always loved you."
You say nothing in response. You just do the one thing you'd been dying to do since you met. You kissed him. You kissed him in a way that cannot be described with words. Butterflies ran all through your body. Your head now feeling dizzy from all the passion and emotion that seeped from your mouth into his. He did not hesitate to kiss you back in this long awaited kiss either. You felt him smile on your lips which made you giggle. You nuzzled you're head into his chest and he enveloped his arms around your lower back. You were over come with joy now knowing that your best friend, Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one, was in love with you. You picked your head up to stare into his beautiful blue orbs.
"I love you, Ani." He just smirked down at you and kissed you ones again.

Building you up
Atton Rand x Female Exile
Word Count: 2775
Summary: Atton and Rena build Atton’s first lightsaber. And by build I mean talk about their feelings for 80% of this.
Read on AO3 here!
Atton had never felt such a surge of nervous emotions before. Nar Shaddaa brought out so much between him and Rena, about who they are and what they;ve done. After escaping from Goto’s ship and meeting Zez Kai Ell, the crew dispersed into their corners of the Ebon Hawk to recover. Atton quietly slipped into the cockpit alone. Exhausted, he let himself sink into the pilot’s seat for a few minutes of uncomfortable sleep.
The door hissed open because of course he couldn’t get a second alone, he should have expected that. What he wasn’t expecting was Rena walking past him and disabling the console buttons before sitting on it, staring back at him. He raised an eyebrow at her. The last time they were alone together they had been shouting at each other about the Mandalorian wars, about each of their pasts, about trust; he didn’t have the energy to fight again. Rena sighed, just as tired as he was. She looked down then back up at him.
“Talk to me.”
Three words from her and that’s all it took. His mouth moved faster than his brain, and the past began spilling out. What he’d done, what he’d felt, what he’d regretted. The Jedi that had shown him the force in his head and how he killed her for it. How cowardly he felt as he ran from everything he once stood for in the name of self-preservation. He told her how he buried the force in his mind, fearing what it could do to him. He expected her to scoff; tell him how childish and weak he was for throwing away a tool that she was so skilled in. He looked at her and saw nothing but tenderness and empathy in her eyes. He felt unworthy but loved her for it all the same.
“Train me. Please.” He said it without even thinking. “I’m not afraid anymore, not afraid of who I’ll become.” A lie. He knew it but Atton couldn’t help himself. It felt like the room froze, tension blanketing the both of them. His brain kicked into overdrive, scolding himself for even suggesting that. Sure she was training the others but they had good reason to learn the force. He was an untrustworthy murderer who didn’t deserve to even be considered fo-
“Okay.”
Wait what?
 ~~~
 That was how he found himself in the garage of the Ebon hawk. She insisted that they do this late into the night for privacy sake, as much privacy one could get with three droids awake 24/7 and a crew that was far too nosey for their own good. He sat against the wall looking over the metal parts lain in front of him. Atton had never been incredibly savvy with engineering but he could pick out a few parts across the pile that he recognized, vaguely knowing how they fit into lightsabers.  Rena sat next to him, glancing at him every few seconds.
Atton looked back at her, “Building a lightsaber isn’t what I expected my first lesson to be like.”
“Why’s that?” She asked.
“From what I know, Jedi don’t build their lightsabers until years into their training, and there’s a whole ritual for it.”
Rena scoffed. “You aren’t wrong but I am much more practical than most Jedi and we don’t have years. Plus the whole ‘ritual’ is bland to me so you would really hate it.”
“Lots of meditating?”
“Lots of meditating.”
Atton smirked. He could barely sit still for a few minutes now, let alone hours. He looked over the pieces laid in front of him again, thinking far too much. He remembered when Rena built her lightsaber back on Dantooine with Bao-Dur; the both of them pouring over scraps of metal found abandoned in the ruins of the Jedi enclave. He spent a lot of late nights watching them burn themselves when the saber short-circuited or the crystal wasn’t fully aligned. They did get her saber working in the end; and it was one of the first times he saw her genuinely happy. It was a small triumph after waves of fighting, running, and losing, and he remembered it fondly. He wondered if he really was capable of this, of getting to that point.
Rena poked him in the side, he lightly smacked her hand away. “You’re stalling.” She teased.
“Not stalling, you ass, just thinking.”
“First time for everything.” She joked back. Her hand stroked up his back to his shoulder, grounding him. “Talk to me Atton.”
He grumbled. “You really like me talking, huh?”
“I like hearing your voice. And you were very talkative the last time I asked you to stay up late with me.” Her hand stroked up and down his back again.
He felt his face heat up. Stars why does she have to be so direct? “I just....don’t know. I don’t know how to start.”
“How to start building?”
“How to start with any of this training.”
Rena looked at him, hand still on his back. “You don’t feel ready.” It was a statement but she said it like a question. She was far too good at reading him, especially when he didn’t want her to. “Why?” She asked.
“I just...I don’t...ugh.” It was easier to talk about this when emotions were high. He could just let everything spill out without thinking; now he had to actually figure out what he was saying. “I don’t know if this is right for me. I’ve told you my feelings about Jedi. They lie, they’re selfish and hide that behind thinly veiled charity. I’ve done…horrible things. I feel like I could fall down that same path; that if I do become a Jedi, I could be even worse. ” He felt his self-loathing come back in full swing.
Rena look both of his hands into her own. His first instinct was to pull away but he choked that down; sighing through his nose.
“Atton I’m not training you to be a Jedi.”
He swung his head around so fast he thought he’d break his neck. “So...we’re just building a lightsaber for funsies? Did you lie to me?” He began to pull away but Rena held him firmly by the hands.
“No Atton, I didn’t lie to you. I am going to train you, but not to be a Jedi.” She stroked her thumb over his hands as she spoke. “I think you’re right about the Jedi. Completely.”  That wasn’t the answer he was expecting. At all.
She continued before he could question her further. “The reason the Mandalorian war was so devastating was because of Jedi indifference, the reason that I don’t know why I was exiled is because of Jedi secrets, the reason the galaxy is in shambles now is because they became so dependent on the Jedi that they can’t function without them. The Jedi stood on a pedestal they didn’t deserve and fell hard for no reason other than their own flaws. They thought themselves the heroes of the galaxy and blocked out anyone who said otherwise. They got what they deserved.”
He could feel Rena’s rage begin to build. She very rarely bore her scars openly, and Atton often forgot how much hell she had been through from all different sides of the galaxy. He squeezed their hands. She smiled at him, a very tight smile. One of someone pushing past pain instead of facing it.
She took a slow breath, calming herself down again before speaking again. “The Jedi have their flaws and I don’t intend to pass them on to you. You have done one thing that none of the Jedi Council has, and that is admit your mistakes. You have the willpower that none of them do to look back at your past and know that there were things you did wrong."
"How many murderers and torturers did the Jedi have among them?" He still felt unworthy.
"More than they let on, I assure you.” Her eyes had a glimpse of first-hand experience, empty for a moment before focusing again. She had as many walls as he did. He knew of Revan, Malachor, and bits of her exile but even if she was a former Jedi she still was a Jedi. He still expected her to be on their side...at least partially.
“You saw them in the Civil war,” She continued. “The people that reveled in displays of power; that used the Jedi name to benefit themselves alone. It was so easy to let their actions slide because they’re ‘Jedi’. ‘Jedi are always the good guys.’” She sighed through her nose. “I’m going to train you to use the force, but also to be better than them. Better than what they let themselves become.”
For once Atton didn’t know what to say. Rena was always an intense person, and it was hard to bare this without making a sarcastic comment or joke. He swallowed down his instincts, he wanted to take this seriously. For her.
She squeezed his hands. "I know this conversation has just been a 'shit on the Jedi' rant..."
"We need a healthy dose every now and again."
"Right.” She deadpanned. "But what I'm trying to tell you is that you are not wholly defined by your past. It is a significant part of you but I believe that what you strive to do now, because of your past is what makes a person. You are ready for this. I promise. You are doing what is right for the galaxy in the best way that you can.”
“My best isn’t that great.”
“Your best is enough for me.” And dammit if that wasn’t all he wanted out of life. To be good enough for her.
Rena raised her hands to cradle his face. Looking directly into his eyes. “And whatever happens, however you change and develop on this path, I will be right beside you."
Atton closed his eyes, letting himself be lost in her embrace. Her words slowly sinking in. He didn’t know how much of what she said he truly believed, about how he was doing the right thing, but he wanted to try. For her if nothing else. She pulled him closer into a proper hug. Her taller, more muscular frame enveloping him completely, he buried his head into the crook of her neck and inhaled deeply.
She held him for a while, stroking his back ever so slowly. After a bit she turned her head toward him planting a kiss onto his temple. Then his cheek, his nose, his forehead, eyes, until there wasn’t a spot un-kissed on his face.
He laughed at her. “Good thing you don’t use a blaster, your aim is terrible.” He grabbed the front of her shirt and pulled her close, kissing her properly. He felt her smile into the kiss and slip her tongue against his.
Kisses between them were often like a dance, Atton doing his best to get a rise out of her and Rena responding in kind, but this one was different. Softer. Nothing to display between them but pure affection for one another. Atton pulled back to breathe and Rena followed him, a few small pecks then diving back into a full kiss. He felt overwhelmed in the best way possible, tilting his head back up to meet up fully as she leaned over him. He could die happily right now. He could also live happier getting to feel her lips slide against his every day, which felt like the better choice in his mind.
They both pulled back after a while, Rena not letting him go without a few more nips. Atton exhaled slowly, slowing his breathing down. “So this lightsaber building work has been pretty fun so far, huh?”
Rena threw an emitter at his chest in response, laughing. He would never get tired of that sound.
Over the next few hours they build his saber. Piece by piece she showed him how each connected and worked together to get a full understanding of his saber. His parts were flashy, a single blade with the emitter engraved with flowing lines and the grip having geometric patterns etched into the rubber. Rena showed him how to fully take it apart and put it back together multiple times, then having him show it to her. After hours of work he knew the saber better than the blaster at his side. He knew that he would still keep a blaster on him along with the saber; as well as the small vibroblade hidden in his boot. The lightsaber wouldn’t be the ultimate weapon for every encounter but it will be damn good for most of them.
His lightsaber lay in front of him on the floor in two pieces. Only one part missing. Rena reached out with the force and levitated a cardboard box over. Even being barely skilled in the force, Atton could feel the pull of what was inside the box. Crystals.
“Reaching into a grab-bag full of crystals. How unceremoniously appropriate for us.” He snorted.
“We could make an entire trip to Dantooine if you want.” She snarked back. “You get to wear padawan robes much too small for you and fight off a group of kinrath alone in a dark cave.”
“Or you could just dump the box over my head and whichever crystal I catch I keep.”
Rena laughed. “That’s not too far off from what we’re doing.” She brought the box over in front of both of them, but pointedly not letting Atton look inside. “The point of lightsaber crystals is that there’s a connection between the wielder and the saber. What I want you to do is feel for which crystal is calling to you.”
“That sounds hard and stupid.”
“It is! You’re still going to do it.” She opened the box fully and set it down in front of him. A handful of crystals of all different colors rest inside. She must have been stocking up since she built her own saber. He knows he saw her buy a crystal a few days ago from a Rodian on Nar Shaddaa.
Rena cleared her throat as obnoxiously as she could. Atton rolled her eyes and sat up straight. People closed their eyes when using the force right? He felt like he should close his eyes so he did, taking another breath. He was supposed to feel….something. He felt Rena staring at him openly. If this was how meditation training was going to go he was going to struggle.
He forgot how well-trained Rena was with the force. Either that or the fact that she can read him so well. “Don’t focus on me, focus on the box. Just search for something. Any little bit of energy you can feel that stands out.”
He turned his focus back in front of him. He could feel the energy that radiated from each crystal in the box; all felt different in small ways but all were relatively the same. He sat for what felt like an eternity, waiting for a sign.
There it was. A small tug. The upper right corner of the box felt just a bit more strongly than anything else and he hoped that was what he was supposed to be looking for. It felt like it was looking for him too. He reached out with his hand, eyes still closed, and pulled the energy towards him with the force. It was shaky and he slipped up a few times, but the crystal made his way into his hand. It felt bright, and warm and he promptly lost his grip and dropped it onto the floor.
Rena laughed, cackled more like. Atton opened his eyes to scowl in her direction. He looked down at the crystal, still intact thank fuck, and bright yellow energy streaming off directly back at him. He grabbed it rolling it through his hand and smiled. Rena nodded at him and then towards the saber parts on the floor.
Atton put the crystal in, like she showed him, and clicked the two parts together. The crystal didn’t weigh much but the saber felt more prominent now. Solid, comfortable. He ignited the saber, his saber, for the first time. The blade shot out with an electric buzz and force energy coursing through the entire lightsaber glowing bright yellow.
Rena’s eyes shined with pride, flashing a smile at him. Using the force she stood up fully and stretched her muscles out. She turned to him, pausing for a moment, and stretched out her hand.
“Let’s get started.”
Can I ask all for Tenja or Ezio (or both c;) for the NPC asks? -v-
Hi, yes, I did both kitties, which mean it took me too long and got tired of trying to make any sense halfway through it, so sorry if it doesn’t make any sense or it’s just lame here and there. :’D
Tenja Rel
1. Would they be recruitable?
As a new Jedi in training, yes, I pretty much think so. Sith is harder since he’s quite individualistic and has a pretty possessi-ehm, protective brother.
2. Would they be a class specific character? (ie. Imperial Agent only. Republic character only)
Probably Jedi specific. Either Consular or Knight both.
3. When would you recruit them? Vanilla story? an Expac? Post KOTET?
I think vanilla would be good, learning “peacefully” on the field the ways of Jedi.
4. Where would you recruit them from?
Probably directly from the Temple on Tython, going to pick him up for a mission you were assigned for by some of the higher-ups.
5. What would their recruitment mission be?
He wouldn’t really need one, since, simply put, he doesn't really have a choice, I’ll assume whatever missions the characters made so far in name of the Republic and jedi were enough as a vote of trust for the Council. If we are talking some sort of loyalty mission … maybe he asks you to accompany him on some sort of travel to Voss? To get some help for his blindness. Not to cure it, but to stop the phantom pains probably, or the general headaches from using the Force to “see” while not being yet fully used to it. It may also lead to a dream-travel adventure of sorts (with some comments of his regarding how he can somehow “see” you now.)
6.What would be their original recruitment outfit?
Visas Marr in an all-black dye.
7. Would there be a character they don’t like? Would that cause you to choose sides?
Well. There would be issues if he somehow came into contact with his brother, Di’taqt, so any sort-of public alliance with the Sith would probably be problematic.
8. Are they romancable? Why/why not?
They are, but it’s probably not one of the easiest shells to break. He didn’t really allowed himself love for the sake of it, I mean, his last wife blinded him in a fit of rage. Also, well, he doesn’t mind sex at all, because it what he was used to as a Sith and wasn’t going to go chaste just for the sake of old ass Jedi traditions, so there’s that. But, well. He doesn’t think love has a change to turn out well. He can be proved wrong, if one is willing to try.
9. What would they say if you clicked on them?
“I’m listening.” “What do you have in store for us today, my friend?” “At your service.” “I do wonder if it’s a wise idea.” “Mhnn, gossip. I like it.” “No one suspects the blind man.”
10. Do they know any other in game characters? (ie. trained under Satele Shan during the civil war. Knew Talos before he went to Hoth)
Aside from his brother and general Sith acquaintances I don’t think so.
11. What weapon(s) would they have?
His lightsaber, standard force-sensitive equipment. His sly charm.
12. Are they better as a tank, healer or DPS?
Essentially DPS but he can manage a decent amount of healing, at least for himself. His specialty consists in entropic redistribution of the Force, basically siphoning life force from his enemies to himself, wasting away his enemies while healing and strengthening himself.
13. What gifts do they Love? Like? What would they say when you gave them a gift?
Weapon and Trophy, probably. Doesn't mind Luxury and Courting either. - “Well. Someone will certainly find a use to it.” “Appreciated.” “For me? I’m honored.” “I.. thank you, my friend. It’s truly wonderful.”
14. What would they say if you sent them away/changed them out?
“I’ll be there when you need me.” “Good rest to you.” “Oh, you wound me, leaving so soon.” “I dare you to find company as good as mine, my friend.”
15. What do they say when they heal you? What do they say when they are attacking?
“Hush, hush. Better already, is it?” “Don’t die on me, my friend, I don’t need that kind of stress in my life.” “Fresh air and the the kiss of life.” - “Tut-tut, I’ll show how it’s done.” “Let it go. It will hurt less if you don’t fight it.” “You are lacking finesse. Not that it will matter for longer still.” “Do us a favor. Don’t get up.”
16. What’s their idle chatter like? Do they talk a lot (when you arrive on each planet) or do they suddenly say something in some strange places?
They certainly like to say something at each planet, idle stuff, less prone to start random conversations if unprompted.
17. What letters would they send post vanilla class story/SOR/KOTFE
Romance :
He would probably be so frustrated trying to write one, or think of a gift, but, yeah, letters are not his forte. He wouldn’t know what to write, how to explain, how to express what he feels. Not the full story of his life on paper would be enough to try to begin to put into words how he feels to this day next to them.
He will try to prove it, to show it, to make it spoken in a language he hopes the character will understand, but, no. Not in a letter. He will write invisible patterns on their skin, he will smile his gratitude and hold his hopes in their arms with them. And hope they understand.
Also he would have to dictate it to a holo-transcriptor and yeah, no.
18. If they are recruitable in vanilla story, where are they during KOTFE/TET? What are/were they doing?
Probably still with the Jedi. He didn’t have much choice, he couldn’t really go back to the Empire, and it’s not as if they were faring any better Tho I bet he was one of the most frustrated ones after the deal with Zakuul, very bitter. He may have left at a certain point to join some resistance’s group, if anything not to feel so useless.
Lucretyiio
1. Would they be recruitable?
Buy him food and he’s yours, honestly.
2. Would they be a class specific character? (ie. Imperial Agent only. Republic character only)
No, not really. He usually strays away from force sensitives and isn’t overly fond of the Empire, but well, he doesn’t judge people from covers. Or tries at least,
3. When would you recruit them? Vanilla story? an Expac? Post KOTET?
He’s pretty freestyle. He constantly asks for rides. Anytime would work.
4. Where would you recruit them from?
A Cantina. Could be anywhere from Coruscant, to Tatooine, to Nar Shadda.
5. What would their recruitment mission be?
Help him take down or stop some violent gang making business around probably, or something of the sort.
6.What would be their original recruitment outfit?
Canderous Ordo armor.
7. Would there be a character they don’t like? Would that cause you to choose sides?
Honestly.. Not really. There’s a lot of things he doesn’t like, but it’s not about choosing sides, not really, it’s about engaging ourselves to be the best we can possibly be. He doesn’t actually wants to shun or isolate people. He won't be comfortable or agree with everyone, but he wants to believe it’s doable while offering the chance to be united.
Honestly, like, yeah, he will vocally disagree to a lot of stuff if it involves violence, abuse and all that stuff. But he will stay as long as he believes in the cause. Being open about his opinions is also one of the ways he hopes will help changing things for the best and influence people with new ideas.
8. Are they romancable? Why/why not?
Yes, very. He’s so flirty. He just happens to become a mess if you flirt back. You may have to pick him up on a spoon. But he’ll sing all the love ballads to you.
9. What would they say if you clicked on them?
“Never wondered : why Banthas? No, like, that’s it. That’s the question. I can’t figure them out, mate.” “Why nothing rhymes with “Saresh”?” “Bada-mba-dababum mate, ya feel me?” “I. Need. Ice Cream.” “Oh shit, forgot the safety on the blaster.” “I’m here all day folks.” “No, man, you are the sidekick.”
10. Do they know any other in game characters? (ie. trained under Satele Shan during the civil war. Knew Talos before he went to Hoth)
Nope, don’t think so.
11. What weapon(s) would they have?
His brazen and melodious singing voice. His halliksete, if smashed on someone’s head. A blaster that he mostly knows how to use. Also smoke grenades. Because he often needs a diversion from when he needs to quickly disappear.
12. Are they better as a tank, healer or DPS?
He can damage things alright. Mostly willingly. I wouldn’t really trust him for anything else.
13. What gifts do they Love? Like? What would they say when you gave them a gift?
Underworld Good and Courting are his faves. Luxury and Cultural Artefact can work out. - “Hey, yeah, cool. What is it?” “Fancy ass cool, man!” “Fuck. Thanks.” “*sobbing*”
14. What would they say if you sent them away/changed them out?
“Hey, be back soon for another show.” “Yeeees, party time!” “No, yeah, of course I can be left to my own devices. No dangers. Ah.” “I’ll be back when you need me!”
15. What do they say when they heal you? What do they say when they are attacking?
“Hey. Wanna me to kiss it better?” “I’m trying!” “Hey, all better, Am I the best or am I the best?” “Oh fuck man that must have hurt.” - “Aaaand perfect strike for local handsome!” “Yes, that was… totally what I meant to do!” “Oh fuck that hurt.” “In your BEHIND, dude.”
16. What’s their idle chatter like? Do they talk a lot (when you arrive on each planet) or do they suddenly say something in some strange places?
He talks a lot. Don’t even get me started.
17. What letters would they send post vanilla class story/SOR/KOTFE
One of his letters, both romance and not-romance (tho romance’s content are slightly different) is the messy drafts of a song he’s trying to compose about the character. It’s some sort of epic tale, or brash cantina chant, or something more private. It’s a mess, with all his annotations. It’s very sincere. He says he never managed to finish it, and maybe it’s because he doesn’t want it to finish. Never.
18. If they are recruitable in vanilla story, where are they during KOTFE/TET? What are/were they doing?
Helping refugees. He started off really angry, blazen songs about Zakuul and how they all had to fight. Then… he just wanted to help people.
Calyss Watches the Clone Wars - 51
03x10 - Heroes on Both Sides.
WHY ARE THOSE GUYS STILL ALLOWED IN THE SENATE.
Tumblr media
OKAY SO I WENT AND ASKED WOOKIEEPEDIA because I just can't stand not understanding that shit and Lott Dod the Neimoidian apparently once said that they had "Nothing to do with the Separatists. Nute Gunray is an extremist. His views do not reflect those of the Trade Federation." But he was also working with Rush and Poggle (which I forgot) on that droid factory so, yeeeeeeah, the Trade Fed isn't that loyal to the Republic.
Tumblr media
Is that Ahsoka in the background? I'm not sure with this shitty image but it really looks like her.
Don't other Senators have the *hover to the center of the Senate* function? They're all like *wave fist and shout* but Padmé just presses a button and suddenly everyone has to listen to her.
"Members of the senate. Do you hear yourselves? More money, more clones, more war. Say nothing of fiscal responsibility, What about moral responsibility? Hasn't this war gone on long enough?"
THAT'S NOT THE POINT PADME!!! The other side has droids, they can go as long as they want because those aren't sentient lives that they're wasting (and even if they were, I doubt that would bother them that much) and they probably don't hesitate taking credit from the Banking Clans in order to keep making them.
(Btw why doesn't the Republic use droids??? That would solve so many of their problems)
Well at least I'm pleased to see my characterization of her in my fic is spot on on that point: SHE WANTS TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE SEPARATISTS!!! Tho I'm for the right of the people to decide if they wanna belong to a nation or whatev' (like, for what I care, Corsica can fuck off if they don't wanna be french??? That's how democracy should work: If enough people in an administrative sector wants independence, it should be granted to them.) I'm not sure that it's what they really want. Like, sure that must be what local governments were promised by Dooku, but that's not what Palpatine wants.
Oh, yeah, that's Ahsoka, with Anakin. What are they doing there? Don't they have someplace to be like, I don't know... Fighting in the Clone Wars???
Bail's like "Why don't we, like WAIT for any EMERGENCY bill, uh??"
I really like this conversation for some reason:
Nix Card: "That legislation would have meant billions for us." Gume Saam: "I tried my best to push the bill through." Lott Dod: "You did your part, representative. Senator Amidala is the problem." Nix Card: "I thought age might temper her idealism."
(That guy needs to meet Satine. She's like 10 years older than Padmé and there is nothing temperate about her.)
Gume Saam: “I know people who could do something about her." Lott Dod, getting genre savvy: "That task is more difficult than you presume." Nix Card: "Gentlemen, the Banking Clan and Trade Federation are about business, not violence." Lott Dod: "Hmm, in this case, our business is violence." Nix Card: "Precisely.With or without senator Amidala, the Galactic Senate is unlikely to de-regulate the banks... Until this war hits home." Lott Dod: "What exactly are you proposing?" Nix Card: "Perhaps some unexpected bloodshed on Coruscant, uh, may change a few minds." Lott Dod: "Coruscant? Coruscant has not been attacked in over 1,000 years." Nix Card: "Then it has a false sense of security. There are some powerful clients on the other side who could help us, uh, shall we say, make the point?" Gume Saam: "Ooh, I like this plan." Nix Card: "No one cares what you think."
:'D
Padmé to Anakin: “You must ask the Jedi Council to...”
Imma gonna stop you right there, Padmé. Do you think the Council is going to listen to him???
“... speak with Chancellor Palpatine.” Anakin: “Don’t involve me in this!”
I love Anakin so much.
WAIT
DID IT JUST HAPPENED WHILE OBI-WAN WAS CHASING ZIRO WITH QUIN? DID ANAKIN HAD HIS MAKEOVER????
Tumblr media
ANAKIN YOU’RE KILLING ME
"War's complicated, Ahsoka. But let me simplify it. The Separatists believe the Republic is corrupt, But they're wrong, and we have to restore order."
You sweet summer child.
Also did no-one thought to explain it to Ahsoka before?
Ahsoka: "Master Skywalker said you should teach me about politics." Padmé: "Right." Ahsoka: "You know, you two have more in common than you think. It's no wonder you get along well." Padmé: "Huh. Of course."
Oh, Ahsoka, baby... How do I explain to you... :’D
GRIEVOUS'S SPEECH TO THE DROIDS
Tumblr media
I love this?
How the fuck was Mina Padmé's mentor? What was she doing on Naboo?
Tumblr media
I want that house Uh. Mina's voice sounds older than she looks. And Ahsoka looks already done with Lux :'D
Tumblr media
Seriously what a dollface.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA AHSOKA I LOVE YOU GIRL.
So it’s been a while but I’m pretty sure this was referring to Ahsoka and Lux and “seems like boys are the same weither they are Republic or Separatist.”
Padmé: "I sense Dooku's dirty hand in all of this."
Boy does he has dirty hands. Have you seen his fingernails?
Mina: "Too peace, then." Padmé: "To hope."
URGH. Can they talk about something else than hope in Star Wars? I'm growing tired of the optimism here. Like they could toast to common sense that would be refreshing.
Tumblr media
That looks a lot like the british parliament.
Tumblr media
So the Separatist Parliament agrees on meeting with the Senate to talk peace, which we all know is gonna fail obv...
Grievous really gets all the best stuff. Look at this fancy chair! :o
Tumblr media
Clone working directly for the Senate?
Tumblr media
Because that's the Senate symbol... Don't they have their own guards? That's a rhetorical question I know they have guards I killed a whole bunch of them in my fic it was glorious. (No actually it wasn't I was too busy killing Temple Guards the Senate Guard got a bit overlooked)
Cleaning murder bots fucking stupid they don' teven know where the power generators are *eyeroll*
Senate Clone: "Stupid droids."
OMG SHEEV SHUT YOUR DIRTY FUCKING MOUTH. AND PADME YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MORE CLEVER THAN THIS JUST DON'T SQUINT AT HIM LIKE "I don't understand" OF COURSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND BITCH NO ONE UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOU'RE ALL FUCKING MORONS.
Tumblr media
You gross Amedda.
Tumblr media
What is this I love it. OH SHIT IT'S, LIKE, UNDER THE SENATE???? ARE THOSE THE POWER GENERATORS???? OMG.
Tumblr media
1) are those radar technicians? no they're not but who cares they're the Matts from now one. 2) the Matts are all humans dudes so I think some higher up is both specist and mysoginist
Tumblr media
Well shit. Oh much do you wanna bet no one is gonna suspect the Banking Clans when obviously there are the one who beneficiate the most from the vote not happening? AND HERE THEY GO. LET'S DEREGULATE THE BANKS. WHAT A BUNCH OF FUCKING IDIOTS.
Tumblr media
For once Padmé is feeling the stupid too.
OH HELLO ANAKIN I'VE MISSED YOU. You're talking shit tho man. He's like "we have eyes and ears everywhere so ofc we know it's the Sepies". Ans also:
"It was dangerous and careless to go to Raxus, not to mention illegal. You went to far this time."
LIKE EXCUSE ME SKYWALKER BUT "DANGEROUS, CARELESS, ILLEGAL , and GOING TO FAR"???? That's you in a nutshell buddy.
Ahsoka: "You would do the same. You do the same all the time!"
THANK YOU SNIPS.
