as we know, minth is an animal lover - she had a pet displacer beast as a child ( who i am going to say was named valsharess; which is drow for queen. duchess was an option but they have no word for that ); and is implied to have a mimic - or at least be the city's resident mimic whisperer. the two spiders in the goblin camp are also hers - creatures she has raised since they were hatchlings and cares a great deal for. they are loyal to her to a fault; and once large enough, accompany her in battle. they resemble brightly coloured jumping spiders (SPIDERS IN THE LINK) - granted, they are about half the size of a grown man, so perhaps not so small, but minth thinks they are adorable. the larger of the pair is named drathir ( moon ) and the smaller is named slyan'ssun ( starlight ). they are exceptionally well trained and well fed - and prefer a diet of humanoid flesh that minth will strive to obtain for them.
