i want jason todd to read to me. i want him to lay next to me in bed and read me his favorite novels. his calming voice lulling me to sleep as he reads me lines from his favorite jane austen novel. and when he senses i’m asleep he places a soft kiss to my temple.

he’s the type to only be able to sleep after you fall asleep. after he senses you’re sleep he shuts the book (bookmarking where he left off ofc), sets it aside, and pulls the string of the lamp on your bedside table before cuddling up to you.

bonus points after he finishes reading you his favorite book he gives you a personalized copy of the book as a gift. By personalized I mean he annotates the book and highlighted the parts you really seemed to enjoy.

Sometimes I get stuck thinking there must be more to Hinako's death but then,

And that thought is crushing. (Or maybe god forbid it's happened to you). It's worse than people not liking you. It's the worst betrayal imaginable. It's horrifying. More than your trust, it destroys your self-confidence.

And that's with friends. But the man who said he loved you? The man who smiled at you at the altar as he put a ring on your finger? The man with whom you've placed your life in his hands as his partner on the force? The man you trust with your life during the day and lay down in the same bed with at night? For years?

Some more of that Chai joins Vandelay for half a day AU. Or just a picture of a kinda OOC Kale chilling if you wanna gloss over those comics. I'm still not sure if the colours are too garish or not.

These were mostly done with the premise of treating Kale's office like the hideout. I also really like how mundane, or familiar, the interactions between Chai and Kale can be in the game so I wanted to draw some stuff exploring more like that. But also, there's the ulterior motive of shipping so I included an out of context scene because I can't bother drawing the rest of it (though it seems like a huge jump in their relationship as a result. I think they're so big headed that they get stuck in a feedback loop of stroking the other's ego if an excuse comes up to do so)
