You had talked to Mark that morning about Jisung and how he felt like Mark didn’t like him and asked him to come over. You met up with Mark halfway between the path between your houses, despite Mark telling you not to. You had already called Hyuck and invited him over. He accepted and said he’d be over after picking up some snacks.

You open the front door when you arrive back home. “Jisung?” you call out.

“In here,” his voice is in the kitchen.

You follow it. “Hey, come outside. Everyone’s gonna hang out here for a bit.”

Jisung raises a brow. “Really?”

You nod. “Yeah! Now go,” you say, pushing him towards the door.

“Wait, can I invite Chenle over?” he asks, smiling.

“Of course.” Jisung runs outside and you run upstairs, grabbing your new polaroid.

You head back outside. It’s a perfect day. The weather is perfect and although you know it won’t last, you try to push the stress of the upcoming days into the back of your mind.

Mark is talking to Jisung, basketball already in his hands. You smile and quickly snap a photo.

It doesn’t take long for Hyuck to show up with a bag full of snacks and Chenle trailing behind him. You grab a package of candy for yourself and sit down on the ground, watching Mark and Jisung 1v1. Hyuck takes a seat next to you.

A few moments later, you hear a click. You turn your head and see Hyuck holding your camera. the photo he had snuck of you printing from the bottom of it.

“Hyuck!” you say, grabbing both the piece of film and the camera from him. “I only have one roll of film, don’t waste it!”

“What? I didn’t waste any,” he says, popping a chip into his mouth. “I took a picture of you.”

“The camera isn’t for pictures of me, though,” you mutter, watching as your face emerges through the developing film. “It’s to take pictures of you guys,”

Hyuck sighs and lowers his voice. “I know. I’d say it’s a bad idea, but I don’t have any right to stop you.”

You look at the two pictures before pulling your wallet out of your pocket and tucking them in. “It might still be a mistake,” you reply. “But the thought of not remembering any of this makes me sad.”

Hyuck just nods before standing back up and walking to where the other 3 boys stood. He challenged Jisung and Chenle to a match against himself and Mark.

“What about (y/n)?” Mark asks. Everyone’s head turns to you.

“I’m fine with watching…” you say. You weren’t the best at basketball, at least not when actual rules were in place. Volleyball was really the only sport that came naturally.

“Ooh, she can be our announcer!” Chenle yells.

“Sorry Chenle, but I am not gonna be the announcer.” you set your candy aside and stand up, wiping your hands on your pants. “I said I’m fine with watching.”

“Okay,” Hyuck says. “If the ball rolls towards the street, you can go get those too!”

You roll your eyes as the other chuckle and start their match. After a few minutes, you feel your phone buzz.

heyyy, do u mind if i come over and borrow ur history notebook so i can study the vocab ?? totally forgot mine at school.

You

sure, no problem

Yeri

ugh my lifesaver. tysm babe

i’m pretty close to ur place so i’ll be there soon

You go back inside to retrieve your notebook for Yeri. The boys didn’t notice. You usually wouldn’t do something like this, but did it really matter? You could be gone by the time of the test anyways.

You walk back outside just in time. Yeri had just made her way to where the others were. Her face brightened when she saw you.

“Seriously, thank you so much,” Yeri says, taking the notebook from you. “I’d be screwed if it wasn’t for you.”

You smile. “No problem.”

She looks at the boys playing basketball. Hyuck had Chenle in a headlock. “Are you the babysitter?”

You chuckle. “It feels like it sometimes. Do you wanna hang here for a bit?” you ask. It only felt right to ask.

She shakes her head. “I’d love to, but there’s way too much testosterone here for me,” she says, giggling. “Plus, I promised Sooyoung I’d hang out with her tonight.”

“That’s okay. Uh, I’ll see you at school then.” you tell her. The words come out choppy and it doesn’t feel right; only because you know it isn’t true.

Yeri flashes you one more smile before saying her goodbye and starting her walk home.

You watch the guys finish their basketball game, although it seemed more like they were trying to beat each other up the whole time.

“Hey!” Mark yells to you. “Let’s go get ice cream.”

You shrug. Why not? Jisung puts the basketball away and you grab your camera just in case. You all begin to walk to the nearest ice cream place. Jisung and Chenle lead the pack, Hyuck following behind them and talking to them about something. You walked alongside Mark in the back.

“Ugh, why don’t we do this more often?” Mark says. He throws his hands in the air. “It’s so fun!”

“I don’t know,” you reply. That was the honest truth. “But I agree. This is really nice.”

“Oh,” Mark says. “Where did that camera come from?”

“I bought it the other day,” you tell him. “I’ve been wanting one for awhile and I had the money, so…”

Mark nods. “Those cameras are cool.” It falls silent between you two, but it isn’t awkward. You realize how comfortable you are with him and it makes your heart hurt all over again.

You reach the ice cream shop and order your favorite flavor. You’re first in line to order as the rest think about what they want. Mark orders after you and you both wait outside for the others.

Jisung’s cone gets knocked out of his hand and he has to get a new one. Chenle orders two for some reason.

“Hey, look at that!” you turn your head towards Mark, who is looking at the fallen ice cream cone. A white butterfly had landed on the cone.

You swallow hard. The sight of butterflies started to unsettle you again. “Wow.”

Jisung finally emerges from the shop, fresh ice cream cone in hand. Everyone stands outside for a bit to eat their ice cream. Eating with one hand was surprisingly hard. You hand your cone to Hyuck to turn on your camera and just hope he doesn’t take a lick of it.

You turned your camera towards Mark and snap a photo of him lovingly looking at his cookies and cream ice cream, completely oblivious to the fact that a camera was on him. After he hears the click, though, he looks up and starts shyly laughing.

“Did you just take a picture of me?”

You nod, smiling. You watch the photo develop before turning it towards him. “Cute, huh?”

He shakes his head. “No! I look so stupid!”

“Shut up,” you reply, putting the photo in your wallet alongside the others before Hyuck forced the now melting ice cream cone back into your hand.

You spend the rest of the night running around town with Mark, Hyuck, Jisung, and Chenle. Everything felt normal. Hyuck seemed happier than usual; you knew it was the same reason as why you kept feeling sad. He knew that soon, his life would be back to normal.

You found yourself by Mark’s side a lot. He offered to hold your camera for a bit before you eventually got frustrated enough with it to go into a store and buy a bag for it. Once it gets dark, you all decide it’s time to head home. You felt sad knowing such a great day was coming to an end.

“Oh, wait, I want to take a picture of you guys.” you tell them, taking your camera out. Jisung rolls his eyes and Hyuck groans. “It’s literally going to take two seconds,” you whine.

They oblige, posing in front of a store window. Mark was on the far left, arm around Chenle. Jisung was to the right of Chenle, and Hyuck was on the far right. You took the photo. “There.”

“Let me see it,” Chenle says, darting behind you.

“It still has to develop,” you chuckle. The younger boy stands behind you until the photo develops.

“Wow,” he breathes. “Cool… I should buy one of these.”

Chenle said his goodbyes before starting his walk home. He lived in the opposite direction than you, so you’d be walking home with Jisung and Mark.

Hyuck, who lived in the same direction as Chenle, started to walk that way as well before stopping. “Hey,” he calls out to you.

You turn to look at him. His hands are in his pockets, shoulders slightly slumped. And for the first time, you realize how sad he looks. “You guys can keep going, I’ll catch up.”

You walk to where Hyuck stands. “Yeah?”

“I probably won’t see you tomorrow, so… I’ll text you when I’m ready to go.” he says softly.

You nod, avoiding eye contact.

“And… if you don’t want to leave… I understand.” he adds. “I wouldn’t if I were you. I’m sorry if I guilted you into feeling like you needed to leave with me.”

You shake your head. “It’s okay. I’m still debating, to be honest.” you pause. Could you stay here with a Hyuck so different than what you were used to? Hyuck was always happy, sometimes too happy. Seeing him so unhappy was hard to handle even if you hadn’t noticed at first.

And no matter how many times you tried to convince yourself you didn’t, that you could get over it, you missed Jaemin. You hadn’t seen him at school at all, only Jeno and Renjun in class. You foolishly tried to think of ways he could join you and Hyuck in this universe — but you knew it wasn’t that simple. His life was so different, and even if there was a way, you knew it wouldn’t be the same as before. He wasn’t yours anymore.

You snap back to reality. “But… I’ll keep you updated.” the wind blows, making a chill run down your spine.

Hyuck nods before turning around and walking away.

You do the same. Jisung and Mark had stopped walking despite you telling them not to. “Sorry,” you say, taking a deep breath. “School stuff.”

Neither of them question it. You walk home alongside the two boys and try not to let your thoughts take over. You reach your home and you pick up the bags of uneaten candy that Hycuk had bought. Jisung says goodbye to Mark before heading inside.

“Uh,” Mark clears his throat. You hear the front door shut in the distance. “I know I said it already, but today was really, really fun.”

You smile. “I’m glad you had fun. I enjoyed it too.”

“Do you think… we could hang out tomorrow?” Mark asks. “Just you and me.”

For some reason, his words make your heart drop. You nod hesitantly. “Of course.” And although it made you nervous, deep down you were happy to be spending your possible final day here with Mark.

Mark nods. “I’ll see you then. Goodnight.”

You smile. “Goodnight, Mark. Let me know when you get home.”

Mark returns your smile before walking away. You take a deep breath and head inside. Jisung was in the living room, already watching TV. You head upstairs to your room, removing your camera from your bag and setting it aside. You open your wallet and look at the photos you had collected.

You look at the photos of Jisung, Jisung and Mark, Mark eating his ice cream, everybody together, and then the photo of you that Hyuck had taken. You couldn’t help but smile at them.

You lay down on your bed, realizing how exhausted you were. It didn’t take long for you to fall into a deep sleep; your mind didn’t even give you a chance to wander.

Waking up in the morning and going through all of the drunk blogging and “-thank-u-for-weathering-my-deep-need-to-be-liked-and-given-attention-off-main-I-guess” if this isn’t a whole mood on its own I don’t know what is. Anyways it sounds like you had fun and it was definetly fun reading everything. I hope you are feeling okay the day after everything. And to tack on a random question which fe3h character would you want to get drunk with if it was just the two of you?

Hi Hello!! thank u for enjoying my drunk blogging !!! and for the asks!!! (and the lovely comments on my fics actually hi there ur wonderful!!!) i’m currently cursing the damage i’ve done to my sleep schedule and suffering under my (truly deserved) hangover lmao ;p apologies u don’t get drunk me, only uncaffeinated hangover me, but we talk to the same degree and make the same spelling errors lol

ah yes.. im a fountain of moods (all of u still with me here are saints hhhh)

ok content time:

the second one first: i absolutely want to get drunk with ferdinand von aegir. the man’s a hop, skip and a vodka shot away from a mess. i love him. he’d be full of conversation and would buy the rounds every time as a true nobleman should !! he’d probably be really good at instigating drinking games but horrible at playing them.. i love party gay ferdie von aegir.

i’m going to LIMIT the faves i list because truly i love them all very much but i have to at least pretend i have some restraint and i don’t want to make this even More of a wall of text it’s going to become . SO

edit: ok i started writing this at like. half ten pm. when the fuck did it become monday.

edit edit: Disclaimer time: these are my conclusions and my conclusions alone. I’m not saying I’m objectively right or correct. I’m very much approaching this from an English Lit-ish point of view because that’s just how I look at a lot of media. I’m not asserting my opinions or conclusions as the only viable to interpret this media, and if anything I say offends you then I am sorry, it was not my intention but I acknowledge that I have hurt you. This is not the exhaustive list of my thoughts on the whole thing, there’s a lot more depth and detail I didn’t go in to.

My favourite thing about Edelgard is the Everything, but notably I really love her proud nature and how in VW it quite directly gets her *spoilered*, and in CF it’s integral to her success (bc it’s her own rigidity within herself that keeps her standing i think) and I Like Tragic Characters (and it’s very elinor dashwood). because it’s one of the qualities that can throw her character into a villainous light & it’s really interesting !! but at the same time.. it’s not quite ‘pride’ purely, and it’s kinda the wrong word. it’s some mixture of determined/stubbon, anger, self-reliance, and that really hard veneer of personality u develop when you’re around people who aren’t healthy for you to be around, and the very very critical need to be right about the choices you made because the weight of the consequences would kinda ruin you if you weren’t. (the dean winchester effect huh) and wrap that up together with a big scoop of ‘i believe my way is right’ (’and my way Has to be right’) and then u get a lot of what i LOVE about Edelgard’s character

My favourite thing about Dorothea is really how she was the character that Hated the war. genuinely the contrast between white clouds dorothea & timeskip dorothea Breaks My Heart EVery Time I See Her !!!!! that and Spoilers!!! (her last words in AM unrecruited is edelgards name and i literally had to stop and cry about it for five minutes.) she’s one of the characters that post-war doesn’t have a Massive political stake in the war - like there’s her anger towards the current class system (another reason i bloody love her PLEASE give me angry feminine characters) but i think it’s her bonds with edie (or byleth&whoever if recruited) that keep her actually fighting in the war & it’s kinda different and i like that (actually i think she parallels/sends up/contrasts really really nicely with mercedes in that way)

my favourite thing about Marianne is just everything. how she finds worth within herself if you play VW (and the very very harrowing hc that she didn’t if you don’t), how she’s full of a quiet rage for the crest system but you eek it out of her as you play the game. how she’s still loved by the deers despite her appalling mental health (fight me on that canon) and the game essentially has her ‘save’ herself by finding worth and life within herself. i love her so much ok. (i also love her because she committed identity theft.. she and i share a name with the second dashwood sister oho (but i don’t use that name on the internet hhh) (also because my favourite shakespeare play is king lear (no really it is), my birthday is in red wolf moon too, i used to have very long hair i wore in a plait most days for school, little 11 and 17 year old me acted Exactly like white clouds marianne did & genuinely i love marianne von edmund to pieces but God it hurts to see her in game sometimes bc her journey mirrors a lot of mine & i love this character. so much.) WOW that was a lot. am i sure im not still drunk

so claude is not only one of my favourite characters in the whole damn game, but also shares the name of one of my favourite painters so i simply have to love him ;p however i can’t give a proper opinion on him yet because i haven’t finished playing deers yet :( but !! i love how (as is with all the lords) he has a veneer of personality to him, but in contrast to Edie where it’s quite seemless with her actual personality, Claude’s veneer of personality seems very opaque and plastered on. i may or may not just be wildly imagining things but he’s a very different personality in his lower supports with Lysithea than he is in his B support with Marianne, for instance. like, i love characters that are obviously a lot more socially intelligent than i could ever be, and claude is *chef kiss* BEAUTIFUL ON EVERY LEVEL.

i’d wax lyrical about Ingrid too but honestly there’s many better people out there with the good ingrid content than i could do. shortly, i love the New Take on the pegasus knight archetype she brings, and i really like her perspective on femininity !!! she’s such a good character & she brings so much to the game and to the pegasus knight character too!!!!! she’s such a bright personality and altho i wish so many of her supports weren’t centred around make-up (hhh dorogrid fans i pray for you), i think she’s really going to pave the way for whoever’s next in that character slot. (like, you can’t tell me she’s not an offshoot of Phila from awakening lmao)

no ok i’m adding in Hubert because i love this vampire man. i really really love the devoted servant archetype and we all know i love edelgard’s tragedy. and i love hubert. so much. the way he enables edelgard in pretty much everything is just so so interesting to think about, and i love his intensity about it. he’s like the ever present reminder that edelgard’s will kinda has to work otherwise the potential consequences of her being wrong are personified in hubert imo. it’s only touched on in VW in his letter but like. god i wish we got more but it’s a wonderful starting block. i love his comic relief as well, he’s such a fun character to have !!!! and also i have so many hubert fics in my bookmarks that just Get him. i love hubert. oh i love hubert.

i’m going to cut myself off there because . that’s just a LOT.

as for characters i would sell a limb to have them talk to each other, honestly it’s Edelgard/Marianne. (and only 51% because of all the projection i have going on with those two ok don’t at me i k n o w). that support chain would be too powerful and honestly i wish they had one becuauese it would have gone so Hard about what Edelgard was doing and what Marianne thought about it, and how they connected over it & they probably would have had their supports set over cups of tea or smth .. it would have been amazing.

(but i’d rather have nothing than an awakening-level-content support where they talk about eating fucking bear meat instead of talking about how they grew to trust each other with and their ability to save the fate of the world HUH AWAKENING. (i’m salty about fredrobin forever)

also hilda/dorothea supports . we were robbed. they’re best friends and you can’t actually tell me otherwise. they run the disaster bi chat of garreg mach. honestly i just would Love a support chain for them that starts with them talking about self care routines and something really small like accessories or perfume and it goes into how self-esteem and how dorothea has to find the same worth in herself as hilda so easily can. (hilda’s the queen of self esteem she’s a babe) and in CF they could have dialogue and then we cry about it. and in SS they talk about how they both chose their place with Byleth and not at edie/claude’s side like i’m just free balling here it could be Anything and i’d love it.

also big shocker .. dorothea/marianne supports . they both hate themselves in their profile CAN THEY PLEASE CHAT.

also i accidentally fell in love with the claude/edelgard ship and i desperately need them to interact on the same level that edie and dimitri get to because.. aren’t there supposed to be three main characters huh intsys .. and like i get what the game goes for with two of the lords embroiled in a personal war against each other at the heart and the third actually finding something close to the truth because he’s not involved in age old grudge matches but at the same time That’s one of the things that really really falls flat for me in the game. dimitri’s villain is edie, edie’s villain is big dragon wife, claude’s villain is the lack of communication that everyone in fodlan suffers from apparently. lack of communication and lies. ymmv with what im saying rn but i would have preferred if all three lords had strong personal ties to each other and in Each Route it was brought up. or just snip dimitri’s dialogue out of CF because i have beef with how that WHOLE moment went down on so many accounts hhhh honestly it makes me angerey to think about lol

.. back on topic- can the lords pls talk to each other because it would be SO interesting in white clouds and i like seeing how their personality presentations clash

at some point the convo turns from school to sharing drunk stories of ur friends

a few coffees & lots of laughing later u suddenly realize its gotten rlly late bc of how dark it is outside!!

cue lucas using this as an opportunity to be all suave & gentlemanly

“wow it’s gotten late, i’ll walk you home!!”

so ur both on course to ur apartment

he tries to be that boy and put his jumper on u because he saw u shiver for 00.001 second

but ur like lol no thanks im not cold

the tips of ears go red & poor bby is embarrassed so he goes all pouty :((

then u feel bad bc homeboy was jus tryna be nice :((

so u end up wrappin yourself up in it and now hes all :))

now ur all :))) too

when u get to ur apt he kinda awkwardly shuffles outside so u invite him inside so he can “warm up” before he leaves

and whooo did u two “warm up”

he takes a seat on ur sofa & is kinda mindlessly babbling as u put on some music and bring him over a warm drink

so ur both just sittin there bbq sauce on ya titties

and then its like some sort of sudden tension arises??

he stops babbling and just stares at u

u stare back, slowly putting down ur drink

then ur leaning in oh so s l o w l y

he places his big ass hand on the side of ur face, eyes hovering from ur lips to ur eyes, asking for permission

you give him a lil nod and he s w o o p s the fuck in

his plump lips are soft, a lil chapped and the first kiss is tender, he pulls away after a few seconds

he looks at you thru half lidded eyes and oop you pulled him back to ya lips hehe

from there it escalates

he leans back onto the sofa and pulls you ontop of him, in a straddling position

one of his hands moves from your face down to your waist holding u tightly against while the other is rubbing circles on the exposed skin below your shirt

his tongue pushes past your lips, to meet yours and you thread your fingers through his hair, tugging lightly at the ends

this elicits a deep ass groan outta him and he pulls back suddenly, tilting his head up towards you

you’re slightly panting as you take note of his swollen lips and slight blush dusting his cheeks

he notices the same things about you and smirks before your face back towards him

to ur slight disappointment it’s not as heated as before, just a lil soft kiss and hes pulling away again

ur like

“<(｀^´)> why’d u stopp <(｀^´)>“

he just chuckles w his deeper than the ocean voice pinches ur cheek lightly

“because as much as i’d like to keep goin, it’s a bit too fast paced don’t you think?”

you flush again as u didn’t even think about what he was feeling and nodded, burying your face into the crook of his neck

but the hypocrisy of this bOY

neither of you had stayed overnight at the others for fear of having to deal with the truth of your emotions in the morning

my take on the prompt phrase, “that was fun, let’s do it again sometime!” set in a canon-divergent version of the freshman, where a wrong number text turns into something more.

author’s note: i wanted to try something a little out of my comfort zone, so here’s a “fic” written entirely in texts. this is pretty self-indulgent tbh, and written with an OC instead of the MC (since being roommates wouldn’t quite work with this concept), but i hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless? thanks @hollyashton and @zigisbisexual for hosting!

Thoughts from a returning SnK fan

Like most fans during the peak of SnK’s popularity (2013-2014), I was pretty much going through a huge SnK craze. I remember following a bunch of SnK-related blogs, looking at fanart, checking and staying in the tags almost every hour, reading a lot of meta material, playing OSTs on repeat, the whole shebang. And like most fans, my interest dramatically fell by the wayside when the wait for S2 pretty much grew into eternity. Even when I got around to reading the manga (starting from where S1 left off), life became super chaotic and busy. But now I’m back! (And hopefully for good?) I’m actually pleasantly surprised that the fandom on here is still going strong. Obviously not to the same hype everyone was living up to back in 2013. To those who’ve been committed to the manga and fandom after all these years, major kudos and I’m sure your tired eyes have seen a lot. So although I had let go of this series, I’ve been playing catch up these last couple of months simply because SnK holds a special place in my heart. With everything I’ve gathered up up to this point, here are the immediate and nonsensical thoughts coming from a returning fan, fresh and untainted by years of shipping wars, fanon vs. canon wars, misconstrued meta discussions, and other fun stuff that comes with being in a fandom:

FOUR-year wait just for 12 eps ?? HHMMmm okay sounds fair ..

that serum bowl or whatchamacallit didnt need to happen for the plot to progress

when and as u get older, trust me when i say the vets really grow on u more, maybe more than the 104th *continues grieving over mike, nanaba, and moblit’s death*

jean and armin’s friendship is p fcking solid if u ask me. GOOD job isayama

we get to decide hange’s gender ?? *daydreams about female commander hange overthrowing the patriarchy esp the shitty mps and establishing a wonder woman-esque island where she, as queen, and other babes conquer the forces of evil* *me, quietly whispering to myself:* “yes, v good”

Jaemin- Teddy Bear

Group: NCT- Jaemin

Theme: Valentine’s Day Special

Type: One shot- fluff

Plot: You visit Jaemin at the hospital and you two have a cute Valentine’s Day date that involves a certain teddy bear making things memorable.

You eagerly wave goodbye to your mom as she drops you off at the hospital where your boyfriend was admitted. Your arms were full with flowers, chocolates, and a huge oversized teddy bear so waving was a little difficult but the huge grin on your face definitely indicated that you were very happy to be here. Sure a hospital wasn’t on your list of places to have a Valentine’s Day date but if that’s where Jaemin would be spending his day, you didn’t mind being here.

You felt a little guilty since you haven’t visited him in a while but you intended to make it up to him by making this day super special and unforgettable. You made your way up to the third floor and walked down the familiar white corridors until you stopped at the reception/ check in area.

A friendly, elderly nurse recognized you and greeted you with a warm smile, “Ah Y/N! It’s so nice to see you again, you’re here to visit Jaemin again aren’t you? That boy has been just talking about you day in and day out and it’s really sweet haha. I see you came with lots of gifts for Valentine’s day huh? Haha come here and give me a hug first before you rush off to see him,” she says nimbly.

You walk over to her and she engulfs you tightly into her plump figure. You chuckle at her strength and pull away from her solid grip with a wide smile. “Pearl, I got you a little something too, how could I forget about my favorite nurse? Here you go, I hope you like it,” you say a little anxiously, handing her a small gift box with a bright pink bow adorning it and a bouquet of flowers.

“Oh Y/N you shouldn’t have dear. Oh my! This is beautiful, thank you dear,” Pearl exclaims happily, giving you another big hug.

“Haha you’re welcome, when I saw this pearl bracelet I just knew I had to get it! I'm glad you like it Pearl, but now I gotta go give Jaemin his gift and I don’t want to make him wait anymore so I’ll be on my way now. It’s nice seeing you again and I’ll be sure to come visit you guys more frequently!” you promise, giving Pearl one more hug.

“Aw Y/N, you’re so kind but I won’t be seeing you much anymore. It’s for a good reason but I will miss seeing your sweet face that’s for sure. Ok that’s too much rambling coming from this old woman haha, go now. Go to Jaemin, poor guy’s been waiting to see you for a long time, hurry now dear,” Pearl says a bit hurriedly with a sad smile, pushing you lightly to the set of corridors leading towards Jaemin’s room.

You turn away from Pearl and continue to walk towards his room. When you find his room number, you knock on the door lightly and poke your head in when you hear Jaemin’s familiar voice shout, “Come in!”

“Y/N?! Oh baby I missed you so much!” Jaemin squealed delightfully, getting up to embrace you into his famous bear hugs.

“Oh I missed you too boo-boo! I’m sorry I didn’t come to visit you that much but Happy Valentine’s Day babe!” you shout, still hugging him tightly.

“Oooh I got you something boo,” you begin cutely as Jaemin takes a seat on his bed. You thrust the giant teddy bear towards him and smile even wider than you did before. “Happy Valentine’s Day Jaemin!”

“Aww babe, you didn’t have to get me anything. I’m just happy to have you here with me but thank you,” he says with a fond smile, taking the huge teddy bear into his arms. “I’m sorry, I didn’t get you anything this year,” he says with a pout, resting his head on top on the teddy’s.

“That’s why I got chocolate for the both of us and by both I mean me. Hehe, all I want is for you to recover and get discharged soon,” you say, kissing his forehead and ruffling his fluffy brown hair.

“Oh, well in that case, I can proudly tell you that I’m getting discharged in two days! I can finally go home to some good food, friends, and most importantly, wifi!” Jaemin states happily.

“Wow that’s good to hear! Man, I donnu how you managed to live with laggy wifi for so long, if I were you, I’d get soo bored. That also explains why Pearl looked a little sad earlier,” you realize, talking to yourself.

“What?” Jaemin asks for clarification.

“Oh when I saw Pearl earlier she looked a lil sad but I understand now because even though you’re getting discharged, which is great news, it’s sad since we won't see her anymore,” you explain bitter-sweetly.

“Yea...I know. I’ll definitely miss her too but I won’t be missing the wifi aha,” Jaemin reminds.

“Haha yea boo I can tell,” you say laughingly.

“So what do you wanna do?” Jaemin asks.

“Hmm, I have an idea. Do you wanna go to the little bakery across the street?” you suggest.

“Sure that sounds nice,” he nods.

“Okie, are you ready to go?” you ask.

“Yea, I’m ready. Let’s go?” he asks, offering his hand to hold.

You slip your hand into his seemingly, larger one and lean in peck his lips lightly before heading off the petite bakery. Pearl gave you guys permission to leave the hospital but you had a time limit for an hour. You guys took your time to walk there but it only took a few minutes to arrive since it was literally right across the hospital. The bakery was surprising pretty empty considering that today was Valentine’s day. So you two ordered sandwiches and of course, some freshly made pastries and occupy a window booth.

You two enjoy your lunch and catch up on a bunch of stuff by going on a relaxing walk, almost forgetting the hour limit. But you two make it back on time and give the warm pastry you two grabbed for Pearl and in return, she gave you two a basket filled with little goodies and some cheesy rom-coms.

So you set up the movies and then joined Jaemin on his bed, that was definitely made for one, and nuzzle against his chest while clutching the teddy bear. Some point during the second movie, you two both dozed off for a bit and Jaemin woke you up to a tickle fight. You caught him trying to snap a picture of you sleeping but only caused your tickle fight to get more intense. After surrendering, you two start to exchange very cheesy pick up lines while playing uno and laugh it off by eating a bunch of Valentine’s day candy that Pearl gave in the basket.

Before you got picked up by your mom, you two told each other how much you two really cared about each other and that lead to a lots cute cuddling and a few sweet kisses. At last, when you really had to leave, Jaemin told you that he might leave you for the giant teddy bear you got him since it was super cuddly but then he reassured you that you were the best boy/girlfriend ever and that he would never leave you.

*ahh I'm sorry for the delay, I kept changing the plot but I like how it came out and u can tell that I was getting lazy more towards the end but like its pretty cute as a lil V-day date thing idk how dates work man ive never been on one TT

*also side note, I know hes not in the hospital any more but this was just a lil idea I had abt him when he was ya know. I hope he recovers soon, I've been worried about him so I hope he’s doing gud and that he’s resting up well

**so like I wanted to use his nickname ‘na-na’ but in Hindi Nana means grandpa so like I wasn’t tryna make things weird ya know like no one calls their bf ‘grandpa’ so yea ur welcome *wink* hope u guys enjoyed this
