I get that calling white lotus lbh a sticky little 'sheep' is a canon translation and stuck in the fandom now anyway, but I do feel the intended spirit of the original word wasn't the sheeple/dumb herd animal that's more common in the western world, but instead something actually conveying sweetness, innocence, purity and youth - lamb.
Famous for being utterly adorable and following around their mothers, gambolling in sunny meadows, curly white wool shining.
And NOW we can talk about black sheep/wolf in sheep's clothing metaphors.
realistically, i know fur cannot tan. but in my heart i believe vasco would love to sunbathe and would develop an even warmer golden brown from it, while machete would turn pink-red from merely going outside for more than 10 minutes
To be clear: despite this sad episode, my feelings towards Tee have not changed, I have exactly the same opinion of him as I had before.
Watching his overwhelming guilt, his situation at home, his self-pity and the feeling that with love and White he can be a better person, in no way erases from my mind how actively Tee worked to hurt Non. How he actively chose evil over and over again.
I just want to say that I still remember that they are all responsible for what happened to Non, as no one tried to stop this spiral of evil that they themselves put Non on.
Objectively, I know that they were kids back then, I know that none of them expected it would end like this. But I also know objectively that they didn't HAVE to do most of the things they did and they did them anyway, because they didn't see Non as a human being, but as some greasy subhuman.
I like stories like this, I like showing characters like Tee, it was a VERY INTERESTING EPISODE, and Tee is a VERY INTERESTING CHARACTER.
Unfortunately for all of them, I REMEMBER.
And I know that no one was punished for it. NOBODY. Even Tee is somehow "rewarded" with a second chance. A chance his victims never received.
going INSANE over the implications about kaeya with this new quest. he called dain a "pureblooded khaen'riahn" which we later learn means he suffers from the curse of immortality, of which kaeya definitely does not have because he grew up in Mondstadt. kaeya's pupils are different from the other "pureblooded khaenriahns" we've seen because there's is more of a hollow outline??? idk also the fact that we have NO idea what happened to caribert means that he could be kaeya's ancestor also?? because otherwise how is he an alberich??? anyways kaeya mains stay winning ig because they definitely are not stopping here like i lowkey feared lol
Hmm brain just conjured up another fictional little guy; at this rate, I am eventually going to run out of room to accommodate all of these fictional little guys, they will have to find a motel or something
