It's kind of impressive how good Astarion is at primping when he can't see his own reflection. Like, he's vain, sure -- he has to be, to lure people back to Cazador. A pretty face is much more likely to draw people in, especially with his particular skill set. But...
All those years hunting for Cazador. Dolling himself up just to trap some poor fool in a tavern or a seedy back alley. His appearance always perfectly put together and beautiful.
Did the other spawn help get ready? There certainly seemed to be no love lost between them, especially for Astarion, but... Did they act as each others' mirrors, helping to style hair and apply make up? Did they help each other, in as much as they could, at least where it came to drawing in victims? Each consigned to the same fate, did they offer each other that smallest kindness of a brush run through hair?
Or did Astarion learn alone in the dark, to slick back his hair and hide his bruises? Is that why he's so put together at the start of the game, when you ought to be at your worst, injured and lost in the wreckage of your life? Practice?
i've always wanted to try out this trend! i didnt think i drew him that different. i was wrong. very wrong.
hes so baby girl in my style what the fuck. oh i know, i was just drawing what gege meant to draw. dw, i got his telepathic brainwaves 👍
[time lapse + my headcanons for Noritoshi's appearance under the cut]
some headcanons i have while drawing him are semi obvious while others are bc i like it ahehahhaheha
cupid's bow lips!
this was semi inspired by Mizuki Umetsu, the actor for Noritoshi in the jjk stage play! hes so. pretty. perfect guy for the role imo! i was captivated therefore my views changed.
longer hair!
the thought that his bangs(? are the same length, or longer, as the rest of his hair is nice.. it also makes his inevitable haircut much more refreshing! i also just like long hair and its a fucking waste not to do whatever the i want.
thicker brows and visible eyelashes!
i naturally draw thicker eyebrows because it looks pretty, but the eyelashes is so fucking canon bro. dont even fight me on this, you'll lose. i read a fic about Noritoshi where it said he took good care of himself and his appearance inspired jealousy. that fucked me up man, so now i draw him as beautiful as i can.
monolids!
I've looked through the manga and i think its highly implied that Noritoshi has monolids? yk those lines in between the eye and eyebrow, he doesnt have them in the manga. i thought it was because of the expressions he had, but no. the others have them, except geto! so geto also having monolids is so fr in my head. i like that feature abt him.
loose hairs!
the hairs that i draw on his face. they make him look so cute and a bit more relaxed. he's not trying to be perfect nor have a single strand out of place. he's just a bit more at ease... though if there's something important he has to go through, he sharpens up. becomes.. stiffer?
I UNINTENTIONALLY MADE HIS CHEST LOOK A BIT BIGGER IN MY STYLE AND I WANT TO APOLOGIZE, BUT I'D BE A LIAR.
DOES THIS COUNT AS A HEADCANON??? I JUST THINK... SINCE. YK. HES AN ARCHER. AND DOES TRAINING. AND COMBAT. AND DOES ALL THOSE HIGH JUMPS... HIS CHEST. ITD BE A BIT BIGGER FOR HIS STATURE.. omfg. that'd imply that his legs are fucking insane. and his arms too, since he has to pull back all those arrows so quickly.. oh my fuck. this. this is a revelation. what are you hiding under those robes noritoshi...???? one day.. one day we'll see...
oh my fucking god i forgot that i wrote shit while drawing. please ignore my fucking stupid writings AND THE STUPID ASS THING IN THE MIDDLE I FORGOT ABT WHILE DRAWING..
The first time Feyre is invited along to Rhys's weekly hair and spa appointment, she knows it's not something for her. Feyre can only justify her art for self care time.
But when Rhys insists he bring Nyx along to sit in his lap, handed over only when Rhys goes to the sink for his deep conditioner treatment: to the aesthetician who use to tweeze Nyx's grandmother's eyebrows? She chatters about how fortunate the Prince of Night is to have inherited the High Lady's brows, the High Lord's cheekbones, but she also discusses all the hopes and dreams the former Lady had for her future grandchildren.
Feyre hears the stories and realizes she missed the community and the phantom presence Rhys seeks at the spa (as well as maintaining the careful regiment of a nearly six century old posh male.)
Her next realization is that these stylists and aestheticians may be the single greatest threat to the Night Court's security if they were breached. (Azriel assures her after he has spies trained through a beauty school regularly to keep there as plants.)
You guys know on how InuYasha, the few times he talks about it, badmouths his father and says he doesn't care to avenge his death when he battles Ryukoltsei?
I wonder if InuYasha starts to regret his mindset towards his father once he himself becomes a father. Or at the very least, he starts to understand his father better. Especially if you want to go by the Movie 2 canon where part of Toga's death was from protecting InuYasha and his mom.
Just makes me wonder if InuYasha looks at Moroha or any of his other children and has the thought that it'd break his heart if any of his kids felt resentment towards him like he felt for his own father, especially when everything he ever does is to protect them. And I wonder if it makes InuYasha start to look at his father's memory differently, now that he's a parent himself and would do anything and everything to protect his kids, even if it meant dying and leaving them without a father.
Not that he'd go and try to get himself killed, as he wants to actually be alive so they don't have to grow up like he did, but you know he'd sacrifice himself if it meant his children could live, just like his father did for him (according to movie 2).
I don't know, I just wonder if InuYasha starts to ever regret the way he looked at his father's memory back when he was a teen once he becomes a father to Moroha and starts to understand his father's actions as a parent now that he himself is a parent. Ya know what I mean?
Making sparda an overbearing, dominating figure with a soft spot for family and general neutrality on humans is good but i think super happy funtime guy sparda who is incredibly enamored with his family and outwardly super duper nice (almost appearing and sometimes is naive or gullible) to humans but when alone or pushed in just the right way he morphs into that nearly cruel and dark figure he was considered long ago is better. :)
I know ultimate sacrifice is dying in fight for what matters the most and in 100% cases it was reversed by kissing headcanon is strong, but what if your existence was erased from the universe and only I remember about you now instead, huh?
listen. "shigeo" and "mob" have separate identities, memories, relationships and ego states within his headspace... ritsu calls "shigeo" the "alternate version" of his brother....... plural mob real
It’s too bad that some people have to ruin a nice thing. Louis is going to places that really don’t get a lot of big concerts. He’s going out of his way to reach these places and probably isn’t making a whole lot of money, and in return some people are being so gross. We all know that there are the stalker crew that follow the tour and fight local fans to get to the barricades, so odds are high they’re part of the problem we’re seeing now. I wouldn’t blame him if for the next leg there is no more barricade run.
While I'm aware that most people aren't as chronically online and tracking Louis' every mood and movement as I am, at this point even a mild engagement with the fandom in the runup to your show- which I feel like its safe to assume anyone putting in the time to get on barricade has- is enough to let you know that at this time he is not enjoying people tugging at his clothes and it is not the moment!
I think there are the privileged foreign fans following him around who carry that sense of privilege into their actions on barricade, I think there are probably local fans who are just wildly excited about their one show and getting a little crazed in the moment (or just being jerks) as well- personally I wish that instead of having it be an all or nothing thing that Louis would just do it when he's feeling it and having fun and it feels fun and silly to let people tug at him, and simply take the day off when he is, for example, sick and struggling through a lot of back to back shows, the same as he lets the songs that are harder at certain times be taken off the set list as needed and only does the stage door fan time when he feels up for it
