been trying out a new writing technique recently and it's called chilling tf out and reminding myself that fic is written for fun.

#making a little joke but also being genuinely serious #with my merwaincelot wip i've embraced having little overviews in brackets for what i want to happen #but idk how to write it just yet #if i'm feeling stuck or bored #and if i'm getting tired or the idea of writing an ending is getting overwhelming then i just call it a day and do something else #and yeah it's taking longer to write things (perhaps gone are the days when i wrote and posted a fic in the same night) #but it's working wonders with my brain #and it's amazing how as soon as i relax i get hit with several new ideas #just trying to adjust my thinking in that projects over a long period of time are not something to worry about #like i'm also planning a knitting project that i'll be doing well into september #(mainly bc yarn is expensive and my needs are hella specific) #but that's okay! #not everything has to be done and dusted immediately! #i'm glad i took a break from writing and i think it did do me good but damn i'm happy to be back #and enjoy still learning how to get even more out of my hobby #but anyway i'm just feeling a lil proud of myself today so #lit talks #personal

I already mentioned but I've been obsessed with kbsd for a decade now actually (I got into the show in 2014) and at the time I was a very emotionally unstable teen who fled the war. Kick became my obsession because he just hit everything I loved back then.

Why I only became active in the fandom recently?

Nobody around me liked Kick back then and I didn't know english so at the time my fandom experience was just looking up fanarts on DA. Nobody to talk to and I got kinda used to that loneliness so why bother drawing anything?

I'm gonna be honest, I was super lonely then.

So fast forward to now when I finally decided to draw my boy just for myself mostly and MY INNER KID-SELF IS FUCKING ECSTATIC EVERYTIME I GET KBSD RELATED ASK!!!

I'm basically reliving my teenage years here and having the time of my life!!!

And to add - I still draw for other fandoms or original art sometimes, I just forget to post it here :p And I get some other asks that aren't kbsd related. Requests for other fandoms mostly. (I will do them I promise)

Genuinely hoped that things would get better for me. My mom is recovering excellently and is back to work, I finally have a new car so I'm able to get back into the work force too and get my life back on track. It really seems like I'm moving in a direction that will put my husband and I in a better place financially and mentally.

But of course... It was foolish of me to hope. My roommate, who used to be my best friend and was actually the maid of honor at my wedding, is kicking us out by the end of February. Why? She's bummed out that we don't have jobs. We've been paying all our bills on time as well as rent, we've been buying groceries this whole time since she can never afford it.

In fact the entire time we've lived together, she's racked up a bit of debt with my husband with "can you pay my half of this bill? I don't have any money rn and I'll pay you back when I get my paycheck" and not paying him back. Including this period of time we've been unemployed and have no income.

Although I'm pissed as hell, I'm excited to move out. I genuinely can't wait to take EVERYTHING. The washer and dryer, all the furniture, all the food in the cabinets, the switch she loves playing on, fucking everything I bought with the money I'd saved up. She'll have nothing left by the time we're gone, and I hope she realizes she won't be able to find anyone else to live with her in this 3 bedroom house when she can't even afford paying 1/3 of the bills.

Not to mention, the entire house is torn up, messy, and reeks of cat piss because she's a shitty pet owner who never puts anything away. I'll wake up in the morning to find the garage door was left open the entire night while the heating system kept trying to warm up the house. She leaves ingredients on the counter after she's done cooking. I'm gonna talk with the landlord about the security deposit and see if we can get $600 of the $900 deposit since any damage to the house isn't our fault. He's really chill for a landlord.

It was a shitty hospital chair that they mostly had to push, because the self propulsion was finicky.

And I just.... Fantasize daily now about a custom wheelchair so I could get out and do things again.
