old sketch from march I decided to finish <3 usually when one of my sketches (intending to become a completed drawing) gets put on the backburner, it never surfaces. I usually have to prioritize other drawings and then months or years pass and once I have time, I lose interest and start other drawings in their place... but I'm glad I mustered up the energy to finish this one, ESPECIALLY since I strongly felt I needed more gothic pieces in my gallery hehe

the relationships between characters in this series are so interesting, because there are so many character parallels. I actually had to change the personality of white alice from the sketch to the final, since I .. think I misinterpreted her story! (so I think it turned out less gothic horror than desired but you know what I'll take this <3) I first read this story when I was 14 and I 1000% BET I'll still be finding nuances and new details in the writing years into the future...

I had a lot of fun with the animation albeit just being a blink animation 😩👍 but blinks can be animated in a variety of ways! in terms of my animation skills, I do consider myself on the weaker side. so if i can integrate more animation frames into my illustrations, it'll help me become more familiar and comfortable with the medium. I especially like the difference in how many frames it takes for dark Alice vs white Alice to blink. I think the blinks came out fluidly and I'm quite satisfied with how this drawing came out!

I will have some fun crossovers. Trust the process.#I will also do my best to pitch this game as spoiler free as possible. Because you *should* play this game:#ISAT is a very lovingly crafted RPG with very fun and emotional writing.#The characters are great and the mysteries you slowly uncover are intriguing!#The way the gameplay ties into the player's own emotional state is nearly always in sync with the protagonist. You *will* feel things.#And it is not afraid to let those things be hard emotions! Do mind the content warnings and know your limits though.#As someone who sucks at video games I also appreciate that it is so generous with your time and keeps things fun.#Not to mention it is honestly underpriced for the amount of content in it. Buy this game. I need to spread the brainworms.

This is likely the hardest I've laughed in rain world yet. Basically, you can glitch a spear into a quantum state using a dead bat body, allowing stabbed enemies to follow you through tunnels. So I tried bringing a leviathan to Moon. And the game really, really didn't like that

Like instead of dedicating 8 hours to one thing and finishing it one sitting. this is a good question, just one that im not sure i will ever be able to give a satisfying answer to. i did answer something similar here that im definitely not an rp account but im neutral on kinning, because the term seems so broad that i cant say for certain if thats whats going on. maybe! or maybe not! hmm and then my art of medic.. yes it is depicting myself. but i also recognize that medic is a fictional character, so it doesnt bother me if people refer to medic as medic! im just drawing him, it doesnt have to be more complicated than that. if that makes sense. its all one in the same to me so it doesnt matter and you dont have to worry about it :]€

I watch OutsideXbox vids pretty often to unwind but today's video was about games where getting a bad ending was actually more work than a good ending

And it featured fucking Tales of Xillia 2

Which, no joke, upset me so thoroughly when I played and completed it that I have spent years denying its existence and trying to forget about it

So when this funtimes goofy youtube vid started and showed scenes from Xillia 2 without warning I literally yelled at the TV and started crying and Jon had to come check on me because I worried him. I was laughing through my tears like "This is stupid!! I shouldn't be having a fucking trauma response over a JRPG!!"

That's just how hard that game fucked me up

okay i feel like im going insane and making a red string board in my head but I've watched that Ichiban and Kiryu conversation way too many times and i swear Kiryu has to be lying to seem cool or the "proposal" he's talking about isn't a standard proposal. a man with nothing to hide wouldn't have his face shift from being this smug

to being this caught off guard when he's asked to give details

that's not the look of a man who's been asked to reveal something personal that might be emberassing or uncomfortable, that's the face of a man who got caught in a lie and doesn't know how to follow up.

i know Kiryu is pulling a story out of his ass to hold up a manly persona. he's looking around trying to come up with something believable because he didn't think through his gut reaction of "I need to seem cool in front of this younger guy who (maybe) looks up to me". man's looking around the skyline as if his childhood idea of a tough, macho yakuza is gonna float down and give him a story to tell.

I can't even think of who he could be referring to unless he's exaggerating his relationship with Yumi or Kaoru? or if it has something to do with the woman he's protecting in Gaiden but I wouldn't think so since that's just a side story. of course it's not impossible that he could have tried to have a relationship during one of the gaps in time between games (à la Majima having an ex-wife between games), but that would be a really cheap way to write themselves out of Kiryu being generally uninterested in women. in conclusion?

Okay, even though I’m not in the p5 fandom anymore, I��d like to point out that the Ryuji bullying has been toned down a LOT in this game, and now it just feels like friendly banter between him and his friends. I love it so much. And the fact that Ryuji talks back more to Morgana gives me serotonin. (More in the tags)
