Okay so I had to reshuffle for this pile because I didn't take a picture of the first cards I got so I had to redo this, so this is the last spread I finished out of all the other piles. What's interesting is that since it's getting dark I had to turn on my led mirror and use it as a lamp. It was illuminating a light onto The Star card, which I find interesting. A wish fulfillment is on its way. You guys could be manifesting something or reciting affirmations in the mirror. In the song, Stunna Girl keeps saying "I'm a stunner girl" repeatedly, stunner means to be "a strikingly beautiful or impressive person or thing". Stunna Girl has also went viral and become more popular after appearing on the show "Baddies West". You could be growing into your confidence soon and learning to love yourself unconditionally and unapologetically. You could even become more popular or go viral on social media. For some of you, you are healing generational trauma for your female ancestors. They are so proud of you! Or you could come from a family with a lot of powerful, strong, independent women. In a patriarchal society, a woman who is outspoken, knows her worth, and is self assured, is looked down upon because they are less easy to humble and manipulate. Insecure men could paint you as a "bitch" or that you look "mid", to try to humble you when that is just lies. You need to know that you're a bad bitch and that you deserve the best. Your shadow self wants you to stand tf UP! Stop giving a fuck about what other people want you to do or think of you. Make them uncomfortable with your glow up. The women in your family worked and yourself as well have worked too god damn hard for you to sit on your ass and wallow in your tears. You are smart enough, you are strong enough, you are pretty enough, you are ENOUGH. Straighten up your spine and fix your posture. Walk into the room as if you own it. I don't care if you just rolled out of bed with a pair of stained sweatpants and dirty Chuck Taylor's on, you better rock it as if it's designer. Your shadow self will back hand your ass harder than Maddy slapped Cassie from Euphoria if you keep getting in your head and overthinking about shit that's not even that serious. Also, you can have anybody you want, if somebody is stressing you out - Drop their ass and move on. You deserve to be treated like royalty. Stop settling for dust! I feel like you were treated harshly growing up or you were left with the "vultures". You could have been neglected growing up and had to learn to survive. You could of used maldaptive daydreaming to cope. Your fantasies gave you comfort in a time of stress and turmoil. I'm so sorry for that, pile 6, but you have to understand you no one is out to get to you. You can choose a new story for yourself. You dont have to be a victim anymore. You are free to start a new life for yourself. Some of you came from abusive households or were put in the system at a young age (either you were adopted or was in foster care). You could have lived in multiple places or went from house to house as a child. Did you run away as a kid? Why were you running, sweetheart? You can stop running now, take a new route. Just peacefully go towards your new journey. There is no need to rush. You're lashing out of fear. You're pushing people away because of your trauma. You deserve to be treated tenderly, you're not some scary creature. Some grow during the harsh, cold weather of the winters or when everything falls in autumn. You are in competition with no one but yourself and you are not going to win this game if you treat yourself like shit. If you wanna be a winner, then you need to start acting like one vs acting like a sore loser. When things go wrong, you are so unnecessarily rude and hard on yourself. Why is that? Ask yourself these things next time you catch yourself thinking that way. You're not anything of the mean things you say about yourself or what people have said to you. You struggle with your insecurities and cling to what gives you comfort even though you know you want better than this, you want better than what you are currently doing. I do not condone or support this behavior in any way, this is for entertainment purposes and for those who enjoy slasher films (it's where I got inspired off of) and not glorify actual serial killers.

Riddle

A doctor who craves to see his patients insides. Riddle finds everyone to be unique, during his years in the medical field he’s seen it all. Unlike most people he’s intrigued on the human body, almost taking the role as a psychiatrist but it’s nice to be up and personal with a corpse.

He wishes to understand every single aspect of the human body and brain, there is so much to learn and see. He’s kept a couple of his patients eyes in his lab, staring back at his favorites in remembrance of their once living memory.

Hot tempered however. Abuses the power that he’s a doctor, someone you should trust in health and well being. It kinda gets him off. Besides that he can’t stand patients who don’t listen, snobby and lack manners when he’s asking questions. An easy killer to avoid, just don’t catch his attention.

Trey

Did you see it coming? The friendly baker who’s pastries taste so good yet different no matter the brand. Trey is great at avoiding conflict, his victims are loners, people who don’t have much of a name. No one would suspect him because Trey made it his duty to befriend the law, clean from their records.

Trey had killed off a classmate that bothered him or snuck their nose in places it shouldn’t be. Resulting his decision to hide the evidence by making it into deserts. Or better, meals prepped for guests he plans on bringing over. When he doesn’t need to use his unique magic he eats it as it is. Human flesh doesn’t taste as bad as media says.

Calm and friendly. Someone you wouldn’t expect. Probably lures his victims by giving false hope, he can help you with anything you need. Seduction if needed, get you to isolate yourself so no one would suspect he was behind it. Another easy killer to avoid, don’t pry into his business.

Cater

Makes snuff films. Pretty popular for his cherry attitude and quirky kills. Got into this kind of stuff in high school, at first he was disturbed, but it grew on him the more his curiosity got the better of him. Becomes more self aware of people’s likes and dislikes, this sick thought that he can harm someone. Kill, someone’s daughter, son, and baby he could kill. With hopes and dreams, he can take it all.

Two-faced, he’s great at pretending, a little too good at being your trendy friend who enjoys giving his fans what they want. And he does exactly that. It was the attention he never thought he’d be addicted to. The praise and vulgar language, amusing.

Victims range from how popular and known you are, or if you really caught his eye and he thinks you can scream just right. His unique magic makes great use, multitasking on being in places he shouldn’t be, getting information and learning his victim’s routines. Those who love dressing cute, may you never cross this man.

Ace

A shitty killer, does it for fun. There’s nothing tragic for him he just thinks breaking the law is great….when he’s not caught, thanks to a little friend of his. Likes the adrenaline of a fight, resistance gets him off badly. Pants like a fucking dog if you’re bitchy, finds it hot when his victim can bite back. Brings him more of a challenge.

Picks up his victims from diners or the bar late at night. He’s got charm, unlike his high school years he’s learned to bite back his tongue and instead seduce his way through in situations. Here to impress, after a couple of failed attempts he’s gotten rid of he knows how to play his cards.

Gotten away with a lot of things. Like Trey he has befriended the law, the more corrupted side. The one that enjoys hurting the innocent, that understand the power trip of accusing and punishing. Deuce is his partner in crime, the two are almost regularly seen together.

Deuce

Genuinely wanted to help those in need. He saw himself as the savior in the story, he’s doing good by getting rid of the bad guys. But it’s starting to get boring. No matter how many times he’s slapped himself with water or stare at the cells. The way some more of his aggressive officers handle their suspect started to irl him. In a way others would deem normal.

Man did he miss the feeling of slamming his fist into another’s, the crunching sound of his knuckles and their jaw was exciting. Like a rush of youth, their cowering expression brings him memories that he didn’t know existed. Who is he to lie to himself that what he’s doing is wrong, it feels right to put criminals back in their place.

Respected by all. No one would bat an eye regarding his past records of violence during his school years. Deuce is a changed man they say, even when he’s with that play boy friend of his. He’s gotten better at controlling his bloodlust, the law honors a great officer like him.

Leona

It’s gotten rather lonely and boring lately. Leona had gone into some shady places to get the things he wanted. He’s no stranger to things such as assassins and human trafficking. That was something he was interested in, you only live once to do something fun. Such as owning a person. He’s a prince, it’s the least they can do to shut their mouth and let him have this moment.

Just as him, his family is corrupted, turning a blind eye to Leona’s hobby in collecting different types of victims to play with before discarding. Too many times did he wash the blood away and under his nails. Ravishing in their cries and last moments before taking it. Maybe it was the hunt he was after, but thinking about it that way reminded him of that hunter. Possible chance of them hunting together for sport.

No law can touch him. Not when hush hush money is being covered. Every eye witness is ordered to be silenced with threats and a wad of cash hovering above. Leona takes great interest in enthusiastic people, they rub him off in a nice way that makes him want to see them squirm.

Ruggie

Works for Leona. When Leona doesn’t find the time to buy his next toy that’s where Ruggie comes in. Ruggie has a good eye for candy that’s either sweet or sour, didn’t matter as long as they’re warm and breathing. Ruggie had dug himself deep into things he shouldn't at a young age, but the money was tempting, food was scarce so often relied on the dead people left behind after harvesting their organs.

Leona often gives him a treat for a job well done, getting rid of witnesses or naughty toys. Hyenas have teeth that can easily chew through bone, he's basically a garbage disposal for him. Not that he minds. In fact he loves the lifestyle he has at the moment.

This can go multiple ways, Ruggie is either Leona's personal assassin/helper or a cannibal by heart. But he prefers to work in the crowd, working all alone can have it's flaws, no better way than to have easy access. It's simple, when Leona is happy so is he.

Jack

Some sort of vigilant. Unlike the rest, he beats himself up for not controlling his emotions better. His more animalistic side gets the better of him when he sees the weak get pushed around. Multiple times has he actually tried to stop and get help, but his brain mushes and stretches each time he's seen something dead, unmoving, bloodied and crying in front of him. As if it was right to hurt them. There's so many people who are bad, he'll do the right thing by getting rid of them one by one.

This doesn't go as planned, he's built up some degree of blood lust, a need to excuse his behavior. Slowly getting into denial that what he's doing is ok, as long as no one knows. From killing off bad people to taking in those he deemed interesting. It was normal he said, a wolf needed to protect the weak. Whether they want it or not.

Jack isn't dumb but his victims are usually scared shitless to reason with him. But with a more collected person they can try talking it out with him. Jack however can get possessive because said victim has a point. You understand Jack, you helped him with all the burden and worry. He can't let you leave now tho...

Azul

Everything Azul had was all built up from scratch. He's made some unpleasant decisions to get to where he is now. High off of power and greed he cared little. His morals stripped the second he shakes hand with governments officials. They pay large sums to trade, buy, and sell things for the sake of their country. Organs play a great game into his empire, with the help of the twins social net work he was able to be top dog. Yet up in the surface he's nothing but a gentleman.

Azul gets his hands dirty by obtaining illegal substance and trafficking. Getting himself into these types of business opened his eyes to a whole new world, people are willing to do anything to survive, it's horrible and harsh. But it's starting to grow on him.

He's built connections with corrupted officials for the sake of enjoyment, it's nothing but fun for his customers. He's all too happy to supply them with things that'll keep them satisfied. All of this influenced him to have a cute thing of his own. Wouldn't it show just how much power he has?

Jade and Floyd

They work for Azul, he's just full of surprises! Jade and Floyd are kept busy with doing Azul's dirty work, relieving in targeting their newest victim so they can be sold off. Or knocking at a mans doorstep because he didn't pay Azul back on time. It's a sense of rush, the urge to harm and cause chaos among the innocent. Their job is to keep tabs on clients for any potential scammers, snatching people off the street in the middle of the night, sort of like the mafia but worse.

There is a low chance in encountering them or becoming their victim because of connections to their business. Alter egos, well associated with celebrities or people in power. And they're mostly seen with Azul as body guards, the ones actually doing the more "dirty work" for him. Discarding bodies or simply eating them to quickly get the job done.

Jade is interested in keeping something for the sake of experimenting or true relations. Floyd often have quick hook ups with people he finds interesting before getting bored again. Horrible and cruel with their things, none yet to survive, their parents have yet to complain in need of grandchildren and to further expand family business.

Kalim

Has some type of connection with Azul. Not much besides the trafficking. Something much more sinister under all those smiles, either because of his position or he's great and should do theater is the reason he faces no consequences. Family like the Leech are similar when it comes to traditions, keeping those in power satisfied with twisted and inhumane products. Kalim is probably desensitized, because at a young age it was taught to be normal to traffic those paid high enough. No longer seen as human.

Still very kind to others however, just much more aware and less dense when it comes to more darker subjects. Doesn't get his hands dirty, controls what route or person is taken in, receipts and what not. No hard feelings, maybe just don't be poor/jk

Encountering him is hard, must be related through connections or snooping too much. Like Leona, had many playthings in the past almost like a harem of those who passed his test. Nothing but sweet to his victims because he believes they get to experience pleasure before dying.

Jamil

Plays the same role in canon, Kalim's bodyguard/servant. In this AU he has not yet to envy Kalim as they set foot in the same page. Instead understanding each other through words and acts of loyalty. Has killed at a young age in order to protect Kalim, finds it his purpose to enjoy life while he has the chance. Disturbingly enjoys his job because he has an urge for bloodlust, possible sociopath. Helps get rid of unwanted enemies that are after Kalim in revenge.

Taunts his victims a lot, usually uncaring unlike Kalim. Innocent or not he's ruthless when it comes to disposing of them, gives him a sense of adrenaline in hurting those who did no wrong. Power abusing his status and strength for the fun of it. When not protecting Kalim he goes on his way to meet potential clients who wish to buy someone off or have them killed.

Stalks his victims and always a step ahead, interestingly enough if he finds them intriguing he might just keep them alive for a while. It's nice getting to know someone unwillingly before taking their lives, the thought of their future and life in his hands irks him to continue. Until he gets attached.

Vil

A killer who nobody would suspect as well. Vil is a famous and well known celebrity, who knew his hobby was stalking some more attractive fans and committing unspeakable crimes. Started this hobby in high school. Was somewhat detached as a child as he used to kill small rodents and was home schooled by private and strict teachers. As an actor he does an amazing job in not getting suspected of things people wouldn't think he had the guts to do.

With his magic in going undercover the paparazzi have trouble finding him, they're exhausting so he takes out his frustrations by eyeing pretty things that either adore him or unsuspecting. His reasons are fueled with envy towards those who are kind and considerate, a nobody that catches his eye. So he starts going for both.

Money can do a lot to satisfy his killing spree taking those he favorites and keep their bodies somewhere in one of his penthouses. In a room hidden underground, their body is plastered in a way he'd call art, hanging on the ceiling or kept in glass containers.

Rook

Family tradition to take unsuspecting hikers or foreigners as a sport. Instead of hunting for animals they hunt for people. Once a year the Hunt family meet up with their victims to set them free in whichever area was picked to search for them later on. A game of cat in mouse and usually Rook beats his siblings to these types of games. Can get very attached to his victims, finds every one of them beautiful when alive and dead.

He lives rather far from the city, having to move place to place because of his family's games. This gives him more opportunities to meet new people and find potential victims. Like any hunter, he's sharp and gets straight to the point, police have trouble finding the killer that's been abducting random hikers.

Pretty basic to encounter, because he spends most of his times living in the middle of the woods far away from civilization. I've seen the trend of Rook being a slasher like ghostface and I'm here for it, this is just my take on him in this au, much more darker.

Epel

The type of slasher to get away with everything because of pretty privilege. In this au Epel willingly cross dresses to trick his victims. Bias he was inspired to become a slasher because of movies. What exactly spiraled him to get into these type of things was for the sake of petty revenge. Tired of being seen as weak and fragile, he finds it amusing to see the confused and terrified look on their face when he's revealed to be their misfortune.

He gets really into his hobby, deceiving men who assumed he was a girl and easily befriending their families in case fingers were pointed at him. In fact Epel actually has several identities regarding cross dressing. He doesn't stay very long in places and tends to move when he can.

Victims? Majority are men he dislikes when first meeting. It's rare of him to go after girls, at times he will correct them if they misgender him or he plays along. Meaning putting up the act of a girl best friend. This usually happens if he's interested.

Idia and Ortho

Corrupted during his childhood. Had access to the internet and parents just weren't watching what he was looking at. Idia has seen it all, with the murders, snuff films, and inappropriate ads. It stuck with Idia through adult hood, all his years he's lived in guilt and fear, he's more unstable and lets his thoughts get the better of him. And Ortho makes it worse. It's unsure if Idia is seeing Ortho and hallucinating his voice, he blames that he's the source for all of his killings. All of the failed experiment and loved ones that "passed" away.

Ortho is dead in this au, Idia just can't accept that. But this forms him into who he is now, his family cover up whatever shit he's done, in fact they encourage Idia to do what he must if it made him happy. I wouldn't say they are shitty, because they know exactly what they're doing.

Idia had grown an obsession with trying to revive the dead, or make humans stay longer, he already failed with Ortho and is willing to spare more lives for the sake of science. His victims are people he met online, trollers or crushes to be exact.

Malleus

Malleus is a powerful fae who is influenced by his status, with that power comes a tendency for arrogance and a sense of being above the rules and law. This can be seen in his treatment of others in his kingdom, but it's (not) safe to say he prefers to go after humans instead. it could certainly lead to a sense of entitlement and a lack of regard for the lives of others. Additionally, he is a very passionate character who can easily become consumed by his emotions, and if those emotions are negative, it can lead to a desire for revenge or a need to assert his power and authority through violent means.

After years of being neglected only anger was left, he doesn't see people around him as equal rather than pawns. It's due to jealousy does he tend to lash out on those who either wronged him, throwing fits and tantrums when things don't go his way. Malleus has a glimpse of a child-like behavior when consumed by these emotions, having to replace one too many maids when crossed his paths.

He may be attracted to targets that are also powerful or notable in some way. This could include powerful magic users, royalty, or prominent figures within the magical community. Alternatively, he may also target those who have wronged him in some way, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Lilia

war veteran that craves the glory and violence when it came to the human and fae war. He’s not like crazy sadistic or anything but killing when “necessary.” Which is a bad excuse because he doesn’t feel bad when harming bystanders that accidentally trip their way into his business. Also being a war veteran he’s highly respected so no one is on his ass when suspecting.

I’d say he’d miss the way skin goes under his nails, having a life in your hands is exhilarating to say the least. It’s almost comforting to him because of how harsh his days were back then. Headcanon that Lilia fought in war at a very young age, traumatic yet he’s addicted to the very thing that harms him. It’s unhealthy but I think he’s in a position to not care, being highly respected of his status is a free way ticket.

Silver

Not a slasher. A poor unexpecting citizen who’s friends with psychos. Silver is kind of a victim in this AU…? Sometimes Silver finds things he should’ve left behind, but in the goodness of his heart he seeks out the problem of his “friends” disappearance. Because of this Lilia regularly has to keep up with Silver so he doesn’t make those mistakes again. Using magic to reduce his memory of the night he saw a woman get beheaded, his son too kind for this world.

But he can be your friend in here!!! Befriending Silver is almost like a golden token, less likely to be victim depending on who’s eye you’ve caught. Some won’t care if you’re under his protection and Lilia’s. Silver could get attached to you tho, causing him to get unpleasant thoughts of wanting to keep you safe, even by force.

Slasher of a making? Lilia would find this an opportunity to fill his head with scenarios and create a false impression of his doings. He’s right to keep you, it’s for your own good and everyone around him keeps leaving. You’re all he has left.

Sebek

By slasher I mean background character lmaoo. As usual, works with Malleus as his personal guard. You could’ve been so many things to get in a situation with Sebek/Malleus, having been bought or maybe a friend of Malleus that he grows to resent. Sebek knows better then to let anger get the best of him, having blood on his hands are a normal occurrence especially when assassins tend to come left and right. So he’s always alert and very distanced when it comes to forming a relationship.

Some sort of executer, gets rid of any evidence from either within the castle or a good hunt. Much more connected to his animalistic urges but can easily overcome them. Anything grotesque sets him off to harm those around him. His hunger for any sort of flesh is unmatched, worse than any other beastfolk as he consumes it raw and alive.

Sebek would be the last person you’ll ever meet because encountering him is very very random. He’s a busy person who is barely seen in public unless it’s for important events that includes Malleus being there.

Card of the Day!

So, I'm not great with editing/design or with running social media but this is honest work so let's go! Take a deep breath and pick a card. If you want a personal reading message me here, leave an ask, or message me on my ig @multimistica (beware of spelling, it's spelled like that because my ig page is in portuguese) This reading is much more intense than I intended it to be, it may help to mentalize what you need advice on today to narrow down the meaning of your chosen card from the descriptions I've made below so your reading can be more precise.

Card 1 - X of Swords

Defeat. Peak of despair. This is pretty much rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up. You might suffer some sort of tragic event today in which you feel defeated, like a martyr, broken beyond repair, or something of the like. It's like when something goes wrong in the worst way it possibly could. The message of this card is it can no longer get any worse than that, pick yourself up and move on. Dwelling in that is no use, move on (as hard as it may be). The depiction of this card is quite graphic, for those unfamiliar with it, here it is:

So help yourself, remove the swords, tend to your wounds and move on. Biggest advice with this card is to move on cause it's literally the worst it can get. The worst that could happen did happen, so after this it can't get any worst at all, and that's what brings relief about it. If this is rock bottom, and you're there and still alive, things can no longer get any worse, and it is in that you must find your peace and fucking FINALLY start healing and moving up, after this defeat things can FINALLY start to get better, even if a small bit at time. You've survived the worst, now you live on to see the best start coming.

Card 2 - II of Pentacles

Multitasking. There may be a lot on your plate right now, as you're dealing with lots of things. It's the kind of day where you're in a rush with a long list of tasks to finish, you have to get things done and you wish the day extra hours to accomodate all of that workload. This is also true in a figurative way, you might be having to deal with lots of emotions all over the place. The depiction of this card is literally a juggler:

It's certainly hard to deal with such workload, so if one or two tasks go unfinished today, that's okay, just keep doing your best at it. If this card speaks to you in the emotional sense, dealing with ups and downs or with indecisiveness, the advice is to try and work through said emotions in a healthy way as they come and go. Be it work-wise or emotionally wise, the biggest advice of this card is to set your priorities and work through them in order from the most important to the least. This card may also refer to financial decisions, in this sense it is imperative you pay attention to how you're spending your money, make sure you don't spend more than you earn, if you're already doing so, then it can mean one of two things (or even both): Be careful on your financial decisions (if you're investing in something rn it means a high risk), that is the first thing. The second thing is you're going to have to work hard. Remember, hard work is highly rewarded.

Card 3 - VII of Swords

Doing what serves your own ends, often in unethical ways. This card can mean a fuckaton of different things depending on your life's context right now and in a collective reading like this it might be hard to tell in which sense it applies to you, but I'll do my best. First of all, are you being unethical, sneaky, or dodgy in any way? If so, the message is simple, stop being a bitch and go look for a ethical way to get what you're going for, seriously. Be conscientious, do no harm, if you're dead set on something by unethical means there is certainly a better, more ethical way to get it and you must find it. If you're about to do harm to someone seeking justice, don't, let divine justice take place instead. Take a good look at this card:

With that out of the way, if you're not doing any sketchy shit right now, then BEWARE.

If you're in a relationship - Beware of cheating, betrayal, mind games, a stab on the back, broken trust, going behind your back, that kind of stuff coming from your partner.

If you're in a bad friend group - Beware of being backstabbed, of negative gossip, people betraying your trust, taking things from you, going behind your back or fucking you over somehow.

In the work/academic context - Beware of people stealing your work, stealing your ideas, erasing your name from a paper and putting theirs in, plagiarizing you, backstabbing you via the HR, planning a coup, or anything.

IN ANY CASE - Beware of two-faced people. Keep your guard up, protect your secrets, don't let anyone fuck you over in any way, beat the enemy at their own game.

It's really hard to see any positive trait in this card, the whole damn card is a huge red-flag for unethical stuff, and the worst part of it is that in the case of this card the asshole at hand is usually able to get away with it. You must stay alert and be smart.

Other than the whole vitriol of warnings this card brings to stay alert to those surrounding you is, if you have to make an escape out of something, this is the right time to do so. It's the time to take a risk. It's the time to be resourceful, to plan out your strategies, to be self-reliant, and to beat your enemy at their own game, really.

Simblr's 2024 New Year Resolutions

Thank you @eljeebee for tagging me!

What's your resolution for your simblr?

Okay, so I had a look at my simming goals for 2021 and 2022 (for some reason I skipped last year).

"maybe 2022 will be the year we hear again about Sam and Ash."

I'm so funny without even meaning to.

"getting sidetracked by friggin’ side stories" is definitely my trademark by now. Add to that: "changing my mind about the whole timeline about a thousand times a day".

I think my only goal is and has always been to publish at least 12 updates per year. I barely made it in 2023, and 2024 does not bode well (the next update? Which next update?). But I will try to commit to that at least, without making any empty promises on the content of said updates. I know, I made a wish for Erik and Laurie to find their way back to each other. So who knows? At the pace I'm at, maybe by the end of the year, they'll have stared longingly at each other once, and that will have to suffice.

That being said, considering my 2022 wish was for Laurie to have a love life... that's achieved. I never said it had to be a happy one. :D

What do you want from the sims franchise?

Nothing at this stage. I still don't like TS4 and have no intent to ever move away from TS3. Project Rene does not interest me in the slightest. Like my friend @anamoon63, I'd love a remastered TS3, less buggy and with some TS4 features (hats! multitasking! building tools!), but that's just a pipe dream.

TS3 graphics don't seem to age. Is it just me thinking that? I mean, TS4 looks plasticky, TS2 looks dated, but TS3 on high settings...? I have yet to meet its match.

Any other new year's resolution?

Oh, well... If I could just find again the faith in life I had prior to 2020, it would be great. I doubt it though, so here's to something more realistic: forgive myself just a tiny bit more.

It had been a while since the party, you weren’t sure how long given that time was pretty irrelevant to you as an immortal, and because it went by so slow and fast thinking about Hephaestus and Zeus’ proclamations, respectively.

You were brought to reality with a knock on your door.

“Hermes! What are you doing here?” You always liked him because he was always all over the place, literally and figuratively, but he was harmless yet so full of life. He never seemed to grow dull of his immortal existence.

“Hi Aphrodite, I am just here to bring a message, but now I gotta fly! You know Hades, if I am on time it means I am late!” He said this while handing you a beautifully handwritten letter. He didn’t even wait for a response before he flew away, and so you went back into your room to open the letter.

Aphrodite,

Please join me in my home tomorrow. We have much to discuss concerning your future.

It was impersonal but beautiful handwriting so you had to admire it. You were nervous it would have to do with Zeus’ comments at the party, as any prospects for a husband were revolting to you. But there was no way you could say no to the queen, so you sighed and went to pick out an outfit to suit the occasion. It gave you comfort to throw yourself in the beauty that is fashion.

Upon arriving at the house of the king and queen once again, walking up the ornate steps seemed less daunting than you imagined. You were resigned to the fact that they would make you get married, but you steeled yourself in preparation knowing you would say your piece wanting a choice in suitors.

“Welcome, Aphrodite. Mother is just through there.” Hebe gestured to one of many doors lining the corridor.

“Thank you Hebe” You said, kindly. Everything you said came out in a sweet and alluring voice.

You knocked on the open door and walked in. Hera was sitting, regally sipping on an ornate cup in a poised manner. She always appeared so confident and poised, you couldn’t help but be a little envious of the regal vibe she projected.

“Come in Aphrodite, thank you for joining me” She said kindly but with no affection. You merely nodded knowing she said it out of social niceties knowing you couldn't’ say no.

“It is an honor to be invited as a guest of the queen.” You replied with the socially expected response.

“There is no need to waste time, I think it is better if I just say it. My husband has mentioned to you that you will be getting married.” It was matter of fact, as she set her cup down on the ornate table. She handed you a cup to which you took with a nod.

“Thank you, yes he mentioned it at the party for Demeter and her daughter, Persephone.”

“He could have had better timing I’m sure, but nevertheless he is convinced you getting married will solve many problems he faces.”

“And what problems do my singleness cause?” You could tell any charmspeak you possessed was lost on her because she could see right through you. She raised an eyebrow slightly which was enough to put an end to any tone you might have had, or wanted to give.

“He does not want a war to break out because of you. He is in the middle of…a delicate matter with Demeter, and doesn’t want another problem on his plate.” You knew very well he and Demeter didn’t get along, and he didn’t do well with multitasking.

“Do you really think it would come to that?” You asked, seriously.

“Yes.” She simply replied. This flattered you deeply. Though you didn’t like the idea of the gods, the idea they would fight over you, gave you great strokes. Fighting over your beauty, for love etc. how could you not be flattered as it was your very essence? She watched you carefully.

“I do not blame you for enjoying the idea of that, given who you are, but you must understand a war on Olympus, no matter how small, would be…detrimental. We are still recovering from the Titanomachy, and that was ages ago. Not everyone was there, but those who were remember and we all feel the impact still. So, to avoid this, you must be married. You understand.” You hadn't thought through it that much other than how it affected you, but you couldn’t argue with her logic. It did make sense. A deep sigh,

“What is it that you want of me?”

“Cooperation. There is no need to fight this and throw any tantrums.” She gave you a knowing look.

“Hera, I cannot promise to never throw a tantrum, as you say, but the worst of those days are behind me” You knew she referred to your more immature, selfish, dramatic days in the beginning of your existence. And you weren’t perfect, but you tried to keep your outbursts to a minimum, even though many situations seemed justified to you.

“Then we are on the same page. Let me list the eligible gods.” She pulled out a golden scroll and began.

“Ares, of course, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus, Hades…” You started to tune her out becoming overwhelmed. No one on the list was a shock, you had thought of them all too in anticipation for the day, but they all stood out to you, in a bad way.

“Now, these are just eligible, but not a logical choice. Hades is out, you two would not make a good match, and he needs a strong match as one of the three, no offense” She could care less if offense was taken and it was; it is never good to hear you are not good enough.

“Dionysus is out.” You said. She merely nodded.

“Obviously.” You were glad she agreed, you didn’t know what to expect.

“Hermes is a good choice so he will stay on the list, but Apollo cannot.”

“Agreed” You said. You hadn’t talked that much with Apollo but he was rumored to be with multiple mortals, and you wanted a faithful husband, though you knew it was unlikely, even given your beauty. Men can have it all, the most beautiful, the most lovely, the most caring, and they will still give it all up for a few minutes of nothing that doesn’t come half as close to what they have at home. One thing both immortal and mortal men had in common. Hera had her own issues with Apollo, so it was no wonder she wanted him off the list but there was more to it. There always was. Besides, you felt a kindred spirit in her at this moment knowing finding a husband was important to her, not only because she was the goddess of marriage, but because hers was a sham. For all her flaws, you never once saw her be unfair when it came to blessing marriages (those that deserved blessing).

“So that leaves Ares and Hermes.” She said, looking up at you.

“So it seems” You murmured while thinking. Ares you didn’t want, and Hermes was a nice acquaintance but could you truly make a life with him?

“Personally I do not want Hermes on the list, for a few reasons, but the one thing Zeus agrees with me on is that he wouldn’t care enough about a war starting he would just go with whatever is happening, and only until it was too late start to care about the damage.”

“I would have to agree with your majesties.” You told her, knowing Ares was the only suitor left.

“So that leaves Ares,” She said pointedly.

“And he cannot also be taken off the list?”

“Other than the fact he is a complete oaf, he fits all the criteria needed.” Hera said. “Besides, no one else is left on the list.”

“I have to say, I am not surprised at this conclusion, but if it makes a difference I do not want to marry him.” You told her honestly, without breaking eye contact. She smirked slightly.

“I assumed as much and I am glad to hear you say it; offering it of your own volition. I told Zeus you would not want to marry Ares, and it will go over better to tell him you offered it rather than him suspecting me of manipulating you.”

“I would like to think you wouldn’t try, and even if you did, I would be able to not allow myself to be manipulated again. I am older and hopefully more wise, especially with the company I keep” You hedged. She bristled a little.

“Athena is wise, and there are worse friends to have.” You thought this was the nicest thing she had said about Athena, ever. “But I need to know, do you even want to get married?”

“I do.” You didn’t hesitate which only slightly surprised you. “I am the goddess of love and I want that for myself, and once upon a time I was desperate enough to believe Ares and I had it, but I was young and naive. I want to marry for love.”

“We can’t all be so fortunate. Even Posiedon and Amphtrite have their problems, and they put up the best facade.” You could hear the pain in her voice.

“We can hope.” You offered.

“Perhaps.” She seemed diplomatic and unconvinced. “Anyway, if Ares is so repulsive to you,” She gave you a knowing look, “There is one more option that wasn’t on the list.”

“And who is that?”

“My son.”

Clive and Jill with the mutual teenage pining. The demo is lit af and I lol'd so hard when I saw all the looks between them after some idiots on twitter screamed they were like siblings and se wasn't gonna make them romantic.

As for the game itself, I was really happy with it. I'm really bad at gameplay so I go easy mode most of the time on a first playthrough so I can get the hang of things and change it up on a replay.

Story mode is very relaxed, and the accessories make it even easier for people who maybe struggle with multitasking. I had a ring of timely strikes on and it honestly made it too easy. So I took it off and that felt more on my level.

The graphics are good. Dialogue is good, aside from a few cheesy lines. Combat is awesome. Locations are gorgeous.

there's 3 ways I see to live in the virtual console:

raw TTY: want multitasking ? open another

screen/tmux: window management, attach/detach, also works in GUI terminal emulators

fbterm: similar to tmux ig ??? textmode emulator

Beast in the Beauty - Chapter 3

pairing: profiler Hyunjae x detective f!reader

genre & warnings: jack the ripper au, angst, violence, thriller, crime, mentions of prostitution, graphic description of death, major characters death, alcohol, some fluff

word count: 2,528

a/n: double update!! (chapter 4 is also out now 🙌) there is a scene where there’s graphic description of death, so i’ll put a 🌨️ right before in case you’d like to skip it.

Both you and Eric rushed to the scene of the crime and you were surprised to see both Chief Ayden and Hyunjae already examining the body that was terribly mutilated.

The constables wasted no time in sealing the area off to ensure no evidence was tampered with. As the both of you made way through the crowd and towards the body, it was truly a horrible sight to behold.

🌨️ The crime was much more brutal than the previous. Not only was she ripped open, but her internal organs were extracted out and laid around the body. You gagged, but you tried your best to maintain your composure. Thankfully, Hyunjae was there and placed an arm around you to support.

“I know it’s hard. If you’d like a time to calm down for a bit, that's totally fine with us.”

Giving yourself a huff, you gently and slowly let Hyunjae’s arm off around you. “Thank you, I’ll be fine. It’s my job to deal with these after all, no matter how awful the crime may be.”

It frustrates you how these young ladies had to go through such a horrible experience, and being a woman yourself you can’t help but to feel pathetic. You felt sick to your stomach, sorry even for these ladies to turn towards prostitution as a means to survive while you’re sitting in a privileged office surrounded by men whom you can trust, not ones who are only seeking pleasure with your body.

This time though, your mind immediately went straight to your friend, Selene. Because the victim who was lying on the ground in their own pool of blood, was her flatmate.

You wasted no time running towards the brothel, urging Mrs Potts to let you meet your friend right this second.

When you reached towards her room, sure enough, she was curled up like a fetus, crying a flood of tears. You stayed for at least a good 3 hours right by her side, while she clinged onto you for dear life.

You knew how Ann Marie, the victim, meant so much to her. They got into the industry at the same time, been through hell and back multiple times together. They have always had each other's backs. In fact, you have somewhat convinced Ann Marie to look after Selene for you while you’re away busy with your job. She was like a sister to her.

After having some time to calm down, Selene then proposes an idea to you, one that you would turn down with no questions asked. She offered herself to impersonate as one of the prostitutes out in the dark alleys of Whitechapel in order to truly catch the killer in action.

Knowing how dangerous it could be, you were reluctant to accept the offer. However, she then adds on a point that somehow convinces you a little.

“Bring one of your detective boys with me.”

“So who volunteers to be making out with the ladies in the middle of the night in the alleys?”

Eric announces out loud in the office, trying to convince anyone really who is willing to take on the job. To him, it was a win-win situation because hey, making out while patrolling the area in order to catch the killer? That’s multitasking at its best. Being the only woman and sane person, you had to whack Eric’s arms and wake the hard-ass mind of his.

But there was some sort of truth and benefits with Selene’s idea. With detectives in disguise around the active areas where the killer takes part in fulfilling his fantasy, it increases the likelihood of you being able to catch the prepatrator this time.

However, many men rejected the idea though, saying how they have a family at home and their wives would be pissed at them knowing that they’ve taken this job offer, even though it was only for work. And that includes Haknyeon, who recently got engaged with his partner whom he’s been with for 4 years.

In the end, only a handful of detectives, mostly the younger ones who usually spend their nights down at the pub, volunteered to do the job. Eric being Eric, has voluntarily counted himself in from the very beginning.

You just had to remind Eric one thing though, it’s Selene who gets to choose which one she wants to be with.

The deal doesn’t happen until midnight, so you had some time to spare and went patrolling around the streets of Whitechapel, gathering potential evidence along the way of course. A few days have passed since the last case happened, and things have been quite busy around the office.

You barely had time to yourself, making yourself pulled an all-nighter and going without much food. This was how you were, being all sucked up into a case so much that you ignored your basic necessities, especially when this was a relation to the cold case that happened decades ago.

Haknyeon notices how in such bad form you were, and somehow convinces Chief Ayden to let you off just for the afternoon. You were even surprised that the chief actually accepted his proposal, but well, that’s Haknyeon for you.

You take a moment to take in all of the events that have been going around Whitechapel lately as you take a stroll along the streets. You can’t help but to feel a sense of gloominess as you couldn’t believe how things have changed in this district that you basically grew up in all these years. It still pains you how many, especially women and children, who were still living in poverty, and you wished you had the ability to release all of them from their misery.

You suddenly reminisce back in the days, where you passed by the street where you and your family once resided. You were poor, and your father barely had the expenses to feed the entire family at least a meal a day.

But after years of sacrifice and efforts, he managed to secure a simple job of being the clerk of your local police station. It took years for him to finally be able to achieve the detective title, but he sadly passed only a few years later as he succumbed to his tuberculosis.

Your mother on the other hand, has done everything to support you as much as she could, and kept you safe too. Both her and your father were definitely against the idea of you following your father’s footsteps as the police force was nowhere for a female to be at.

After your father’s death, you somehow managed to convince your mother to continue your father’s legacy. It was years until she had finally given up and accepted your determination.

You had finally gotten the detective position when you were 24, but your mother sadly wasn’t here to see it. Ever since then, you’ve been alone, trying by all means to survive on your own. But as you had Selene and Eric by your side, things seemed a little better even during the most tumultuous times.

As you walked past your former place of residence, you locked your eyes on the brunette that was walking right into your direction.

You waved your hands in excitement while looking at the male, and he responded the same way and he closed the distance.

Hyunjae was away for a few days, having to return back to Scotland Yard to fill in the details to his superior. The male jokes about how he has not been able to eat and rest properly, and that he was dying from hunger and exhaustion. Seeing this as an opportunity, you offered the idea of hanging out at one of the nearby cafes that you often go to whenever you have a chance to have a lunch break away from the station.

“Oh my gosh Y/N, you’re a saviour”. Hyunjae tries to babble as he continuously stuffed his mouth with the multiple amounts of pastries that he ordered on a whim. You can’t help but to laugh, earning a growl from the male.

“Hey it’s not funny, I have been starving for days.”

You couldn’t help but to chuckle at his remark. “It just amuses me how you have times where you’re absolutely hilarious, because you somehow paint me the picture that you’re a dependable and serious person when you do your job.”

“And that’s why many find me attractive. I believe you’re on the same page too, no?”

You almost choked on your coffee. Seriously, does this man live on drugs or something? Why does he have to make such flirty comments every time you try to have a proper friendly conversation with him.

Oh how your heart somehow enjoys these unexpected moments.

“Well.. I mean.. You’re one of a kind, I guess.” You mumbled, not really wanting the individual to fully catch on what you’ve just said. But you know that will never be the case especially when his speciality is reading other people as part of his job.

“I like that Y/N. Of how genuine you can be. It still amazes me that you’re a detective, and of how far you’ve gotten. You really are impressive.”

Not wanting to further deepen the red flushed tomato look on your face, you quickly cleared your throat and tried to change the topic, more specifically towards him.

“So, how did the reports go back in Scotland Yard?”

“Not much, just the usual.” He shrugged. “Though I must truly thank you for the breakthrough we’ve had with the case with your friend Selene.”

At that moment, Hyunjae suddenly paused his gobbling spree as he now positions himself up straight on his chair and lays his crossed arms onto the table.

“If I may ask though.” He paused, trying to read your facial expressions to see if it was alright to continue on with the topic. “How did you get to know Selene, I mean. I don’t wanna be rude, but y’know, since the both of you are in two totally different industries.”

“No, of course not. I always get that impression a lot, and so does Selene. Well, to start off, we were neighbours at one point when we were kids. But both of us had a very different upbringing.”

“I supposed it has something to do with Selene’s parents that drove her down to this line of work?”

“Her mother was a prostitute as well, it was the only way for her to be able to provide for both of them and have a roof to live in. She never knew who her father was, and neither did her mother.”

Taking a sip of your hot coffee, you continued. ��I guess my mother also took the initiative to take care of Selene when her mother was away for work, as she can be gone for days even up to a week at times. Time passed and both of our mothers began to look out for each other, and so did the both of us as well.”

With that, you’ve earned a smile plastered across the brunette’s face. “Well, I must say I am delighted to hear that Selene has gotten the help and support she needed since young, and I admire her for taking this path. Of course, not to say prostitution is a glamorous job, but these women are some of the toughest ones alive in this day and age. Sacrificing so many to provide for their loved ones, that’s a lot to shoulder on.”

“I agree. But sometimes I just can’t help it but to feel bad for where I am now.” You sighed and gave Hyunjae a somewhat dejected look.

Hyunjae was surely puzzled with what you’ve said as he did not expect such an answer to come out from you at all. “Why do you say that when you clearly have such an amazing job right now?”

“That’s the thing. The fact that I’m sitting in a well-maintained office and surrounded by people that makes me feel safe and comfortable whereas the other girls are out in the streets where everyday is like a battle to them. Like I wished they had a better environment to be in to earn money, and I would do anything to trade with them. That does not mean I condone adultery but you get the idea.” You clearly had to add on the last sentence to prove your point.

Hyunjae then places the coffee that he was sipping down onto the table and leans slightly closer towards you. “Well, that’s why we exist, Y/N. We’re here to improve the law and help the citizens to have a better upbringing and life.”

It was then Hyunjae then placed one of his palms on your hand that was seemingly resting on the table, which resulted you in having butterflies in your stomach.

“And I’ll add on that I’m proud of where the police force has gotten at this point in time. We’re changing, improving for the better, to be able to help the people we care and are in need. As a police officer, I am proud of where I am now, and I hope you feel the same way too Y/N, because I sure do see the passion in your eyes and how you’re doing your very best in making a difference each day.”

Wow. Just wow. You were stunned. Is this how profilers are so good in choosing their words of speech to the people they interact with on a daily basis? Because you sure are hypnotized by his words. You never knew that he could’ve said such comforting words even though you both have not begun working as partners for long, and now you’re damn sure and glad that he’s the one Scotland Yard sent for the cold case unit.

“T-thank you, Hyunjae. I mean.” You stammered, and quickly cleared your throat to continue on. “Nobody has ever said something like that to me, and I’m grateful to have heard from your perspective.”

Hyunjae has obviously found your shy demeanor adorable, wanting to tease you a bit more, he decided to cup your hand with both of his now.

“Not at all partner, I’m glad to be able to help in any way I can.”

Before you could get distracted, you again tried to quickly change the topic back to something else to distract yourself for a bit, while also pulling your hand away from his grasp if you do not wish to explode right in front of him any moment now.

“Now that I have shared some parts of my stories, I think it’s fair for you to do the same, no?”

He chuckled. “Aren’t you a sly woman yourself?”

Instead of telling you his side of the story, Hyunjae then stood up from his chair. “Sure I’d tell you, but that will have to wait.”

He then gestures to the clock right behind the cafe counter.

“It’s time for us to get back to the office if you don’t wanna hear Chief Ayden’s grumblings. Also, it’s time for us to buckle up for tonight’s deal.”

The Arcade Games of 1980 #5: Missile Command

If you thought Pac-Man was a fluke and we weren't in the golden age of arcade games yet, hoo boy, think again. Atari may not have impressed me a lot in recent times, but they clap back in some STYLE here.

Don't let the black background fool you, this game is not quite set in space. It did confuse me at first since it looks like you're defending Mars colonies rather than the Earth, but no, the cities you protect were actually supposed to be ones located in California. Which does add a bit of intensity when you think about it.

That's how I would describe the game best: Intense. The game doesn't sugarcoat, being *very* in your face about losing if you don't nab a high score. As soon as you hit the 2x multiplier, missiles come flying at you from all angles and depending on your skill level, your game can be over in the span of 90 seconds. Doesn't mean it's unfair, just that it's faster paced that you may be used to at this point in time.

Which is good! The speed of rounds makes the game incredibly replayable and you don't have to stick around to the slow stages for nearly as long. Blowing stuff up is always a hoot, especially with the large explosions this game hands you. You can make things easier for yourself too, flipping a DIP Switch gives you a city in reserve. The further you get, the higher the multiplier and the more ridiculous your score becomes if you hang on for a bit longer.

I don't have a ton of fluff to ramble on about this time. This is an excellent time and well worth your quarters/purchase of an Atari compilation. Even if it's yet another shooter game- damn I can't escape them can I?

The Verdict

Graphics (8): 8-bit decency that looks perfect for the early Famicom/NES days. It gets especially cool when there's a lot going on, with all those explosion vortexes and whatnot. The game over screen knows how to spook an unassuming player- big letters that yell 'THE END' at ya while the background flashes red. May have given small children nightmares, fits with the cold war theming.

Sound (8): Oooh, punchy, I like it! A lot of the bleeps and detonation noises aren't new, but they were updated to sound less sharp on the ears in the former's case, and more realistic in the latter's. Once again, fits with the scenario you've found yourself in. Can't deny I adore the randomly generated glitchy jingle when you get an extra city, too. A controlled cacophony that I can't get enough of.

Fun Factor (9): Brilliantly chaotic and replayable. Rounds are snappy, the controls are accurate *enough* that I don't find myself too upset when I miss, and there's also the twinge of strategy involved as well- what enemy do you focus on and what sacrifices need to be made? One of the least flawed feeling games yet. 'Polished af', as my informal self would say.

Longevity (9): Cuz rounds are so short, you can argue that reaching the final new aspects (6x multiplier at the 11th screen, no more background color changes some time later) won't take as long as it would with Pac-Man, however you'd be surprised. If you don't get a bit lucky with how the missiles fly towards your cities in the middle stages and don't have super fast access to multitasking, you could be stuck on this one for a very very long time. And you still would wanna play it afterwards, as with the other classics of the era.

My own max was the 7th screen for reference, past the point of new mechanics but well short of truly expert play.

⚅ — Reasons I'm Not Writing — ⚅

{I realized that sometimes I try to be on and then just can't be, or I am on and try to get something done but I struggle with it. And rather than writing up every single time what's going on with me, it might help to just give you guys a list of reasons I might not be writing.}

{I'm making a list, but just know that any of these things could be happening at the same time or one thing can be happening because of another. It's really a mix-and-match sort of scenario most of the time.}

⚀ I'm on mobile - A lot of the time when I'm not around, it's because I'm stuck only being on mobile and don't feel like struggling with it. I can still write when I'm using the app, technically, but it is a real hassle because of all the steps I have to take to cut it. So unless I'm super hype and want to finish that reply as soon as humanly possible, or unless I just don't have anything else to do, legitimately, I usually don't even mess with it. You can find me on Discord instead, usually.

⚀ I'm on Discord - Sometimes my discord is more active than my Tumblr, or that is to say, I'm getting replies here faster than Tumblr. Sometimes I may be on mobile so it's more convenient. Or sometimes I don't have the energy to struggle with Tumblr, but I'm alright dealing with discord. In any case, it's worth it to shoot me a message if you want to write with me there. I rp over disc, so I'm sure we can still have a lot of fun.

⚀ My family needs me - Whether it be for errands, emotional support, board games, or whathaveyou, sometimes my family just needs my attention and I can't be on, mobile or otherwise. I usually don't get a chance to warn anyone ahead of time so I can just disappear for a while, sometimes even the whole day if it's a big thing.

⚀ I'm asleep - Whether It's past my bedtime and I've gone to sleep for the night, or it's because I didn't get enough sleep and need more, or because sometimes I'm sick and need extra, I will from time to time just sleep. There's not much I can do about that one, honestly.

⚀ I'm sick or in pain - Similar to just being asleep, sometimes get sick or I'm just in a lot of pain and physically can't be in any sort of position that makes it easy to be on, mobile or otherwise.

⚀ My brain is playing Dial-up tones - Sometimes I'm on and actually looking through things, but I can't concentrate enough to get anything done. If something is playing beside me or people are talking around me, I'll get overstimulated or there will be too much to focus on at once and I have a hard time processing thoughts or anything. So I end up just sitting there staring at the screen for long periods of time.

⚀ I'm in an Unfriendly Environment - Similar to the above reason, sometimes I might end up having a panic/anxiety attack or the folks in my house will start arguing and making the environment feel too unsafe to work. That is to say, I don't feel like I can operate without having some sort of attack, not that I'm in actual danger. Situations like this can come on suddenly so I might not have time to say goodbye before I disappear.

⚀ IRL life has me very busy - Sometimes I have to dedicate the day to chores or groceries or something and I can't split that attention with mobile if I want to get everything done, so I have to give up writing to maintain my irl responsibilities.

⚀ I'm making graphics or art - Sometimes I'll take a break from writing to work on icons or banners or art instead. I try to multitask but there are times when it just doesn't work out that way. I might become more active as I finish my work, but I might just have to wait until the next day.

⚀ I'm focusing on playing video games - I usually can't split myself into doing everything I want to do. If I'm doing chores, I absolutely can't play video games and write as well. So sometimes I'll choose to replace writing with video games, or spend that time doing something else. I'm not trying to ignore anyone, I'm just trying to enjoy my other hobbies.

⚀ I'm on a different blog - Sometimes it might seem like I'm not writing, but I am just on a different blog. I run 5 main blogs and two side blogs, and even though some are lower activity than others, I do try to spend some time on all of them. If you don't see me in one place, I might just be somewhere else. I can also get into this funk of replying to like 4 different threads at the same time and get nothing done because I'm working on all of them at once.

{No matter what's going on, however, just know that I haven't forgotten about you. I might even be feeling a little bit of stess over making everyone wait when I probably could be writing instead. I'll get to everything as soon as I can, though. I just wanted you guys to know that I haven't forgotten you.}
