Can't remember if you've talked about this a lot before so, hi, anything about Kris and Jan's relationship? Very curious, I love them!!

oh YES actually ive been dying to talk about them more lol since i couldnt fit any more backstory for them into holidate so let me just *cracks knuckles* tell you their whole deal actually

SO. basically the idea for how they met, got together, became best friends etc was this:

- they met as teens, probably were in the same class

- they discovered they had a lot of similar interests, same humour, very quickly got along really well and became really close friends

- they also both at that point had started to figure out their sexuality, but weren't open about it at all bc like. homophobia in school is no joke.

- at first that also meant they werent out to each other bc oh god what if i tell him and he thinks im disgusting and then he doesnt want to be my friend anymore and also outs me to the whole school and everyone will know

- im not sure exactly what happened but one of them wouldve accidentally found out about the other, the other wouldve panicked, but then like oh shit damn okay we're both queer?? nice!!

- if youve been a queer teen in an almost exclusively cishet environment and suddenly there was another queer teen, you probably know the experience of getting a crush on them partly literally just bc theyre also queer. so that happened.

- basically they were each others first queer relationship and did their first experimenting with each other etc

- they did however realised that hey actually? maybe romance isnt for them. maybe they just have a really deep friendship and they do love each other, just not like that - and that realisation is definitely 100% mutual from the start btw, no heartbreak for either of them, just relief

- so basically they just break off the romantic relationship and stay best friends etc etc

since then, jan has also been in kris' family and stuff like miha and chantal both love jan and treat him like a son. kris definitely first introduced him as a friend, and then came out to his parents with jan as his boyfriend and they werent thrilled but also not hateful. but they were relieved (at first) when they just went back to friends

idk if jan and kris still occasionally experimented or slept together or idk? i guess theyd definitely feel comfortable and secure enough with each other but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

overall (to me) theyre definitely a little more than just best friends but on a very platonic basis. they have a lot of love for each other, theyd kill and die and pretty much do anything for each other, its a very very deep and powerful friendship

oh also, its been mentioned in the fic that they regularly sleep over and also they sleep in the same bed and cuddle and all that, like thats all part of the previous statement. platonic intimacy and all that.

#10. What's an au you have for them?

Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).

In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...

#11. How was their first kiss like?

Augh my friend Imp wrote an absolutely excellent fic about it (tragically in the realm of unfinished Google docs) and I'm shaking their hand about it so hard. Basically Juniper kissing Reggie but he like wasn't ready/fully expecting it and Juniper absolutely panicking because he thinks he's misread every interaction between them both since they got closer. The second one is much sweeter though,,

the school arc to me is so good because it drags ciel out of his position as a powerful figure and literally places him in the shoes of the person he could have been. the circus arc ALSO drags him out of his position as big bad queens watch dog/head of the phantomhive estate but the school arc feels like a mockery of a future that never was. this is what he could have been had his parents not died. and even then its NOT because he will never be that kid.

is it weird that i dont wanna change my pfp—even though ive had countless moments where ive seen something, thought to myself "this would make an amazing pfp" or "i really wanna make this my pfp" and then like seconds later lose the desire as i remember my relationship to my pfp and how everything about my online persona from the past 5 years would change—and im okay with that?

#like im trying not to be sound entitled to being unique and special #but it feels so much like the opposite of what a normal person would do #like i get a lot of urges of wanting to have another pfp to the point where i have a photo album of potential pfps #change bot contacts pfps to see what they would look like #and even had an old discord account that i would change pfps so that i could express myself in that way #and its not like i feel forced to keep this goomb persona up or anything #i genuinely feel so connected to it #especially since half of my teenage years were spent online due to quarantine #and i got to dissociate from my actual physical self (even though at the time i didnt realise i was doing that)#cheesy it may sound but this just IS my online identity and to change that just feels unnatural #but i still naturally get urges to see what its like to have a different pfp #and honestly i love the system i have cause if i didnt have this i would probably change my pfp every day #so what im doing right now is basically perfect for me since i actually do have a solid online identity #it could also be because i tied my username to my pfp and therefore would have to change my username when changing my pfp #and thats really where the root of the persona comes from #because it makes no sense to tell my real life friends my username is angerygoomba if i have some random ass pfp in conjunction with that #but i will maybe never change my username because i absolutely love how it looks and feels to say #especially goomb #cause that just feels so natural to say that im surprised its not a word #or even a common username at that #also my nd ass will have to find a completely unique username without _ or . cheating cause i cant stand how they look #like it isnt transferable to the english language to have underscores or dots or dashes or whatever in a name #but whateva #goomb thot

#so #maybe a week ago #there was a post about the doll commercial movie on my dash #and it was about how yeah the movies feminism was like 101 babys first feminism #because the audience it was aimed at arent people who have read feminist theory #so of course it was just The Basics #so that critique of it wasnt really valid or whatever #kinda like the ''are you trying to buy ice cream at the hardware store?'' idea #but more ''why are you trying to sell ice cream at the hardware store?''#and the post annoyed me but im a mature adult who does not have the energy to get into fights on tumblr so i just scrolled past #and i was trying to parse through the annoyance to figure out why it annoyed me so much #and i was thinking ''did it annoy me because i was in this post and i didnt like it?''#but i kept coming back to the two references to native americans in the film and how both were insensitive #one being the comparison of the kens implementing patriarchy to barbieland to the smallpox blankets and hence the wider genocide of natives #and the other being the barbie version of mount rushmore which you know was settlers desecrating the black hills which legally belonged to #natives and was a sacred mountain (going off memory i think the sioux the cheyenne and the lakota people all had claim)#and it was thinking about thst mixed with watching a leftist youtuber cover a prageru video that i realised why that post annoyed me so much #BECAUSE #the criticism wasnt just that the feminism in it is babys first feminism with the training wheels on #(which i also still kinda have a bone to pick with tbh but thats another post for another day)#a major part of the criticsm of the films feminist themes is that they were white feminist themes #the entire film was from the perspective of a white audience #the film was assumedly white if that makes any sense #like barbie is just Original Barbie because she just is. she was the first one and everyone came after her #at no point is her whiteness even acknowledged let alone explored #the film explores things like beauty standards and workplace misogyny and motherhood and the patriarchy in general but it dares not even #tiptoe around race. it just blatantly ignores it the way second wave feminism did. and oh does that coincide so unfortunately with the kens #strike back plot which lowkey perpetuates the myth that giving equal rights to an oppressed group will lead to them oppressing you #the lens from which the film views the world is one of whiteness and ignorance and privilege. white feminism is not feminism 101 #basic feminism should not exclude women of colour.

#so basically do u guys remember the person who liked me whom i didnt like. the one w the ambiguous . babes.#anyway. so i told them i dont like them etc but like still wanna be friends n they were rly like. mature abt it but it also #affected them more than i thought it would but still they were ok w it. so they came down to my university bc we were planning it for a bit #just to hang out . and like. they tied their hair up. and. djd idk smth just....idk idk . anyway..so. lines a bit blurred etc #and now idk where we r at . also they were supposed to be w me for a day and leave at night but ended up staying over for like #4 days. so. yk. anyway. idk what thats abt. also do u remember the person i told u abt. like 4/5 yrs ago id come to school #early and drink horrible black coffee w her just ro spend time w her etc etc. we met up today n caught up and it was rly rly nice #we ended up stumbling upon an AI exhibition and it was a great experience #and then i realised all night trains were cancelled back to my place #and my battery was almost dead. so i ended up charging it at a gay bar #now in bus to airport and then from airport back to my place which is so so so so unnoticed long #but its the onlt way to get there atm #personal #anyway yh #many thoughts head full

The problem with having an irregular work schedule is that I need alarms to remind me to do stuff and I can't just set alarms on repeat and forget about them if what I'm doing each week keeps changing

#ace is a mess #this may seem unrelated but i used to have meal alarms set which i turned off cus they go off during work and now im realising i forgot #lunch and my snacks because im literally in capable of noticing basic needs when focused which wouldnt have happened if i could keep my #alarms set still!! like i have a night alarm thats only purpose is to help me keep track of time passing so i go to sleep eventually #instead of at 3am+ after thinking huh its been a little while only for it to transpire that a while was 6 hours #i should not be allowed to be an adult im incapable of functioning

need us to stop being a silly little guy for one second and acknowledge that t0ph is rude and it isn't some funny trait. it's a flaw. its a reaction, sure, because her whole life she'd needed to play the part of being the obedient little girl and her rudeness is a result of wanting to affirm her independence and probs as a legitimate way to exercise her confidence and/or to go about her establishing boundaries or things she didn't like, but it's still a huge flaw.

#listen. u mustn't forget that she lived the majority of her life practically spoiled #sheltered sure. miserable yeah. but she is still incredibly privileged #( which she does acknowledge and/or act it out sometimes ! )#and that sort of privilege didn't rlly go away. u could say that she didn't gain things monetarily #but shes also VERY SKILLED at a VERY young age #that feeds a lot to her ego and mixes up with how much she feels like she needs to compensate for her parents' mistreatment #my girl quite literally does not have time to exercise humility #like. on one hand she EARNS everything she is confident about #but on another YES sometimes the way she expresses things shes frustrated about is downright RUDE #like. the rift is a great example bc my girl was a haaaaater when a.ang just wanted to do an air nomad tradition #lets also not forget that in the show k.atara brought up legitimate concerns abt her not ''stepping in'' when they were gonna camp #in both instances t0ph was just reacting badly because of her past and she didn't know how to VERBALISE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON #thats it. but she still comes off as incredibly rude #thats not cute; thats just rudeness.#and i like pointing this out because (A) i want my writing partners to be aware of this but also (B) for suuuure this can be #a point of tension somewhere down the road #cause i do feel like this will blow up right at her face esp as she slowly enters adulthood and realises her friends are Leaving #and i KNOW my girl is not gonna react well about 80% of the time #and i wonder how that'll tie in to that usual thread when u realised that the theme of breaking into womanhood is basically #realising u're losing the privilege of girlhood. this means: how much can ur mistakes truly be excused ?#at what point can ur anger and frustration stop being smth to coddle ?#you're no longer a novelty. now what ?#GREATEST: INTERPRETATION.

ufff idk whats wrong with me but i ended up creating an entire (unrelated to this fic) movie plan related to twst this is mentally stable activities, truly

when hanging out with your boyfriend Leona, a little lion boy suddenly jumps him and he immediately lets you go

who is this child???

"Uncle Leona!" the boy clings onto him and you can feel the annoyance eminating from Leona

it's like its own aura thats how annoyed he is🥴

so his nephew (you presume) looks to you all of a sudden and asks "who are you?" with an innocent look on his face

"I'm his lover...?" you said, a little unsure. But when you looked to Leona, he had a look of pure horror on his face...? What is even going on?????

"What?! No way, you're dating Uncle Leona?!" the kid got all excited and ran off somewhere before you could stop him

You could also hear some woman (who you presume is his mom) laughing from somewhere in the house so uhhh.... atleast she isn't mad about it?

You looked back at Jack who seemed more annoyed than anything

"Aren't you gonna... go stop them?" you asked, raising a brow.

"Nah, I was gonna tell mom I'm dating you anyways. I'm just mad that they beat me to it." he crossed his arms, huffing in annoyance

"Actually, speaking of, isn't me dating you kinda a big deal? You told me before that wolves have one partner for life." you actually got kinda nervous, i mean, you gotta impress his family good now

"It is. But I think everyone's just happy I got someone at all." Jack looked at his overly excited siblings who were still celebrating

"Wow, that's sad." you sassed him 😝

Alexia putellas x fem!reader

(Featuring Alexia in denial and Mapi’s devil antics)

This was not how Alexia was expecting her weekend to go.

She was supposed to be having a weekend trip to Mallorca with her closest long-time friend, Jenni. As much as it pained Alexia to leave her 4 legged companion behind, she knew she would also have an even harder time leaving her at a hotel when her and Jenni went to some bars, as Jenni said ‘to find someone to spice up her life a bit’.

Mapi was definitely not her first choice on who to leave Nala with, however with most of the team using their break to travel back to their families, it left only Mapi and Ingrid to look after her Pomeranian.

However, after receiving a frantic phone call from Mapi, with the few words she managed to make out due to the defender’s worry laced voice being: Nala, Cake, Vets.

Alexia rushed onto the next flight and was at the vets in around 2 hours, to find Mapi still in the waiting room clutching her beloved dog, and Alexia was quick to snatch Nala from her.

It took everything in Alexia’s power to not start cursing Mapi out for her carelessness, but as she gave in and threw a snide remark at the defender, it was interupted by the receptionist.

“Nala is ready to be seen”

Alexia rushed to the door with Nala in her arms, and Mapi trailing behind. They were shown into the room, and Alexia walked straight into someone quite a bit shorter than her, this combined with the fact she is a professional footballer who keeps on top of her strength training resulted in her basically knocking this person over.

“¡Lo siento, lo siento!”, She said whilst keeping her eyes on Nala to check she wasnt hurt even more by her collision.

As Alexia looked up at the person she had crashed into, she was met with arguably the most beautiful women she had ever seen. Only to be met with a shove from her best friend, was when Alexia realised she had been staring.

“Alexia stop ogling the poor woman and apologise”

“I did!” countered the midfielder.

“Maybe in English would be smarter? So that she actually understands you!”

At the realisation that you had absolutely no idea what ‘lo siento’ meant, Alexia’s cheeks flushed crimson red, which recieved one of Mapi’s infamous snorts of laughter behind her.

Alexia honestly had no idea what was happening to her. She knows that your pretty, but she had seen other pretty girls before, why did you make her feel like this?

“Hello, I will be Nala’s vet for today, i will just go grab her records from reception, wont be a minute!” you said with a soft smile.

As soon as the door clicked shut behind you, Mapi burst iut laughing.

“Ale, as much as i love you, you were embarrassing there! If this is how you act around girls, no wonder you have never had a serious relationship”

“Shut up! I am not attracted to her, she makes me feel like i want to throw up!”

“Honey, thats called butterflies in your stomach! pretty cliché if you ask me, but I didnt realise you were such a romantic!” Mapi retorted, still laughing.

“I’m not a romantic. I’m not into her. I just want her to treat my dog, and then i can go play football after”

“Wait until i tell the team about this! The scary la reina, reduced to a blushing mess by a cute vet who she body slammed and then spent a minute ogling her, all because she has a little crush”

Before Alexia could respond with a threat of using her captain title to punish Mapi with tunning laps, the door clicked open to reveal you rushing back in.

Nala, who usually was very timid and barked at anyone who got near her, immediately jumped off of Alexia’s lap and ran straight up to you and jumped at your legs, to which you responded by picking her up and gushing over the cute little ball of fluff.

Alexia knew that if she wasnt already sat down her knees would have buckled at the sight of her dog basically confirming the fact that you were perfect for her. As Alexia contined to daydream about you, she was interupted by a hand clicking in her face, to which she turned to glare at Mapi’s toothy grin.

“Te distrajiste, el lindo vert estaba tratando de preguntarte sobre Nala. (You zoned out, the cute vet was trying to ask you about Nala)” Mapi said with a knowing smirk.

“¡Callarse la boca! y deja de llamarla linda. (Shut up! and stop calling her cute”

“¿Celosa? (jealous?)”

“Nunca. (never)”

However, when the two spaniards turned to face you, they were met by your dumbfounded face trying to decipher a word of what they just said. Although you had been taking Spanish classes since you moved to Spain, both Alexia and Mapi spoke the languge with too heavy of an accent and too fast for you to understand.

“So you filled out your form saying Nala ate a full chocolate cake?” You asked.

“¡Si! Yes! Will she be okay?” Alexia responded worriedly.

“Honestly this happens a lot, and there is no point her having ang unnecessary procedures, so we usually reccomend her take these tablets twice a day for a week and if you notice any unusual behaviour, bring her back here. I will write you a prescription for it now!”

“Ah okay thankyou, do I scedule an appointment for after she finishes the pills for a checkup?”

“No, the pills are enough, no checkup” You say with a smile.

As Alexia now realised that she would probably not see you again for a while, she slumped back in her seat and a new frown sat predominantly on her face.

Upon Mapi seeing this, she immediately felt an impulsive urge to assist one of her closest friends in her crush dilemma situation.

So Mapi did what she did best.

“My friend thinks your hot and wants your number now”

At hearing this you blushed bright red and Alexia smacked Mapi round the head.

“Excuse my friend! She can be very blunt… and stupid” Alexia said as Mapi emits an offended gasp, “As I would have politely asked you at the end, could I please have your number, as I think your very beautiful”

You are still sat there in absolute shock, you knew who these two people were, Alexia Putellas and Mapi Leon. Two world famous Spanish and Barcelona football players, you couldn’t help but wonder what the two time balon d’or winner wanted with your number.

Unfortunately, Alexia mistook your shock for rejection.

“I’m sorry, I have made it awkward, it’s okay that you dont feel comfortable giving me your number” Alexia suddenly stood up to leave, and pulled Mapi up with her “Thankyou for your help, goodbye”

The spaniard quickly took the prescription from your desk and rushed out with Nala in her arms, and urging Mapi to follow her, who felt slightly bad for embarrassing her friend like that.

Alexia quicky rushed back down the corridor to the receptionist desk, wanting to get Nala’s prescription, and get out of the stupid vets as soon as possible, probably as she knew to return to her house and cry at the embarrassment she had suffered today.

The midfielder was about to hand over the prescription to the receptionist, but Mapi’s eyes caught a glimpse of something on the back of the paper.

“Alexia stop!”

Alexia turned to glare at the defender, “What now?” She said followed by an exasperated sigh.

“The paper!”

At this, Alexia turned over the paper, and couldn’t stop the smile tugging at her lips, as there was your number hastily scribbled down with a note: -call me

As she noted down the number into her contacts, she realised, she hadn’t even asked for your name.

Alexia turned to the receptionist, and asked, “Who was the vet that just saw us?”

“Y/n, she’s sweet, just moved here from London recently!”

“Thankyou” Alexia replied, as the receptionist grabbed the pills, Alexia put down your name into her contacts and sent you a quick message.

- Hey! It’s Alexia, from the clinic, I wasn’t lying when i told you i thought you were beautiful and I would love to take you on a date sometime?
