june 29th, or a little more that 6 months ago i posted my first fic. that was honestly the best decision of my life because tho tumblr is a hellsite it’s a hellsite that got me through a hellish year. i just want to come out and express my extreme gratitude for all of the people who have gotten me through 2020.

KAOS:

(7) Are they a naturally assertive person or are they painfully shy? All the way up until like, right before they kill Alduin, Kaos is the most painfully shy person ever. He's more socially anxious than stereotypically shy but yes super super shy. When he starts becoming a really important political figure because of yknow, saving Tamriel, he does get a lot better at being assertive, but he's definitely the type to after finishing an absolutely fire speech, turn to his little brother or lucien and just be like "..was that okay? did i do good?"

(10) What kind of jokes make them laugh? His "laughing style" is more like, a breathy smirk or a little chuckle, but those inside jokes with your friends where you both just keep adding more and more dumb shit to the joke is what gets him on the floor sobbing crying. Also i think lucien trying to pronounce bosmeri words would crack him up.

(16) What do they look for in a friend? A love interest? Kaos is aromantic! so no love interests there, but his absolute besties are Lucien, Inigo, Cicero and Aniko (altmer oc i have yet to properly develop). Because of his paranoia, the main thing for him is being able to trust them. He knows lucien couldnt hurt a fly in the beginning so he feels safe there, Inigo is apparently in his debt so that's safe, Cicero and him have a blood bond so he's safe, and Aniko is a pathetic upperclass altmer who also couldnt hurt a fly. Spending time with them opens him up to them all a lot more, but in the beginning, he just needs to be certain he won't wake up with a dagger in his back. (He's also friends with Anoriath and Elrindir because they all miss Valenwood and they remind him of his uncle)

(46) Does your character believe in anything? Religion? Superstition? Yes! It's a complicated one though. In his later years, after meeting Paarthurnax, he reveres and loves Kyne like a mother. He's her champion in every way and even named his weapons after her! (Kyne's Kiss = bow / Kyne's Tears = dagger) He respects Hircine but doesn't particularly vibe with him, and he respects Sithis as a member of the dark brotherhood, but sees it more as just a literal void instead of the personification the brotherhood seems to do. He does worship the Night Mother quite a lot though and even after he gives up the duties as Listener to Cicero, he talks to her a lot at her coffin, even if she no longer talks back.

(47) What is your character's reaction when someone does something nice for them? There are three possibilities; paranoid suspicion, utter confusion, or affectionate sobbing. He's so used to doing things for everyone else (he was the eldest at the orphanage back in Bruma, so his whole life he's been the older brother), that when Lucien and Inigo like, remember his birthday that he mentioned once off-handedly and buy him something he'd been eyeing up, yeah i think he'd just start crying.

ANAELLE:

(3) What does their safe space look like? Druadach Redoubt. Hands down. She loves travelling to Markarth and doing more stealthy underground work for the Reach, but Druadach is her home, where her family is, where she can feel the dirt under her feet and visit the orc stronghold not far away- and there's obviously the juniper scent in the air. Markarth is her dream, but Druadach is her home.

(9) What is your character's trigger point? What makes them angry, sad or makes them go off? Honestly quite a lot of things! She's impulsive and headstrong (go girlboss) but the thing that probably makes her the most angry is members of the tribe leaving the redoubt without saying goodbye first. Sounds odd, but she makes an effort to say goodbye and hug every member before they have to go out foraging or even just for a breath of fresh air. She's heard so many horror stories from neighbouring tribes; she doesn't want anyone leaving and never being seen again without at least being able to say goodbye. If she realises someone's gone, she waits at the cave entrance until they come back, and everyone (except her puppy <3) kinda knows to give her space.

(14) Are they a simple person to please or difficult? Very simple! Be good to the Reach, her people, or her gods, and you're generally good in her books. If Juniper doesn't like you though then you have no chance. She trusts her dog's instincts over anything else. She originally doesn't trust Ime (Kaos' little brother who helps the Reachfolk take Markarth) and Atterian (ime's bf) until he mentions that Mehrunes Dagon sent them to ensure their rebellion was successful, and after that (and a vibe check from Juniper) she and her blood-sisters got along with them both swimmingly.

(35) What attracts your character to another person? Willpower, emotional strength, and care. She loves when people are able to go through with hard decisions, because it tells her that they, just like her, are willing to do anything for the people they love. She thinks overly self-sacrificing people are stupid though, because how can you protect others if you aren't there to ensure they stay that way? that's one of her biggest differences with Kaos - he would die to keep his friends safe, she would live to make sure they stay that way.

(48) Is your character easy to make cry? Or angry/annoyed? One word. yes. She's very very emotive, and has no problems letting people know. She doesnt see the use in hiding when someone has upset her - they need to know, so they know to never do it again.

SOLARIS & ICARUS:

(27) Opinions on children? Sweet angels vs evil devils? Solaris is freaked out by kids JSHDHSHD he doesn't hate them or anything, but he was the only child in Clavicus' cult so he just doesn't know how to talk to them. He either baby talks a 16 year old or talks to a 6 year old like a fully grown adult, no inbetween. Icarus is a LOT better with kids, and during the 4th era when he's establishing The Black Spider (his assassin guild) most of the initiates are orphans or kids who needed somewhere to go that he took in. Extra angst: when they were younger, they probably joked about asking Clavicus to give them a kid. Icarus' heart broke just a tiny little bit when he realises years and years later that that's exactly what Solaris did to keep Martin's bloodline going. "That was supposed to be us" type thing :(

(10) What kind of jokes make them laugh? Oh god these two are insufferable. Inside jokes are their absolute favourite, they relish when no one has a singular clue what the fuck they're crying with laughter about. Icarus loves terrible puns, and Solaris pretends not to find them funny. Solaris finds Icarus being uncomfortable (as in like, cold in the snow, or complaining about the weather) absolutely hilarious. Also not exactly a joke but these two's love language is nicknames they absolutely adore them. Solaris calls Icarus "Magpie" the first time and his brain shuts down

y/n looks at laurie’s picture on her bedside table, her heart aching and tears welling up in her eyes. she sighs and nods “yeah, fine. take laurie.”

stefan sees the expression on her face and reaches out. “you dont have to go, you know? why dont you just let me—”

“enough!” you exclaim. and you zip up your suitcase angrily, taking it with you as you stomp out of the room. you put it by annie’s suitcase and go over to the nursery room where annie and laurie are currently

you go over to laurie first, taking her in your arms. you hug her for a while, tears running down your face as the thought of leaving her for years hurt. but you just couldnt face stefan now

so you set laurie down, kissing her head and looking into her forrest green eyes, something both girls got from their father. she then set laurie down, going over to annie and picking her up. y/n gave laurie one last look, mouthing ‘i love you’ before walking out

fast forward to when they are 13 👹👹👹 (horrible age for children omg)

so y/n and annie come back for the summer to stay w auntie care and ty. stefan is dropping laurie off to camp just an hour earlier than annie. they both get placed in the same cabin. annie has taken y/n’s maiden name while laurie is laurie salvatore. they both dont even notice each other until one of the camp counselors points it out. laurie and annie are confused, amazed, excited, and a little scared.

“YOU HAVE MY FACE!?” annie exclaimed

“A-AND YOU HAVE MY VOICE!?” laurie pointed to her throat

and annie’s like “what the hell!?”

and laurie’s like “YOU CANT SAY THAT”

so the camp counselor talks to the host of the camp (or whatever theyre called) and laurie and annie become bffs immediately. they spend like 2 weeks at the camp and they finally realise after hearing the counselors talk n stuff

then it comes time to pick up the kids. y/n and stefan dont even notice each other until the two girls walk out hand-in-hand. y/n is the first one to notice. and once she lays eyes on laurie, she just immediately knows

her eyes start to water and her breath is caught in her throat. she goes up to the girls gingerly, bending down

“mommy!” annie exclaims

y/n smiles, “hey baby. w-who is your friend?”

“laurie! i think shes my twin!”

y/n is surprised that she knows, but annie is a smart kid lol so

“yeah, youre right. u-um, wow. what are the chances?”

laurie smiles, “are you my mom?”

y/n nods with tears in her eyes “yeah, i am. it’s nice to see you. wow, i-i... i’ve missed you so much. you dont even know”

“yeah, me too. i didnt know i had a mom. its only been me and dad”

and then y/n like “oh wait. where is your father?”

and then stefan, behind her, says “y-y/n?”

and y/n turns around, gasping. she gets up, hand over her mouth in shock. her heart flutters as she looks into those green eyes of his

“thats me,” stefan smiles

y/n smiles and laughs, going in to hug him, but then memories surface and she pulls away immediately. her eyes harden and she grabs annie’s hand

“cmon annie. care, lila, and ty are waiting.”

she starts to pull annie away but annie and laurie started to shout

“NO STOP! MOM DAD PLEASE!”

and annie is pulling y/n back and shes like “annie stop. behave.”

annie looks up at her, tears shining in her eyes “please mom. wait.”

y/n sighs and is like “fine. what is it?”

annie smiles and goes back to laurie

“we think you two should get back together!” laurie proposes

stefan and y/n look at each other like 😧 and ofc y/n is skeptical and starts to make excuses. but then stefan takes her hands in his and her heart stops. her breath is taken away and she looks at him, feeling herself begins to fall

“please y/n. if not for us, for the kids. i promise, you wont regret it”

and y/n like “.....” and stares at the kids, then back at stefan

“i love you, y/n. i promise ill explain everything. just give this a chance before running out again”

after a few moments of thinking, y/n finally gives in. “alright,” she smiles. “um... you girls hungry?”

the two kids nod and y/n says “lets go and catch up yeah?”

Summary: You asked Bokuto for his second button after the graduation ceremony, but it was too late.

Time goes fast. Too fast. One day you are in diapers and the next in hakama, with a diploma in your hands and looking for the second button. The button of the boy you had fallen in love with.

You smiled lightly as you searched for Bokuto, the crowds at the ceremony starting to condense as you walked down the halls. You looked for it with your gaze, which stopped when you found the boy, you looked at his back to a few second-year girls you recognized.

“Taro!” You called him without erasing your smile. Bokuto lightly turned his head towards you and gave you one of his best smiles. His smile. His smile made your knees tremble, created convulsions in your heart, confused your thoughts. You were still behind him when he answered you, the number of girls after they saw you started to decrease.

He didn't talk until the last one left.

“Hey hey hey! Y/N-chan” he smiled, fixing his clothes and his hair. His smile was different from that of other days, his eyes shone with an intensity that he only dedicated to volleyball “We graduated!” He laughed, turning around fully to face you.

Your eyes were glued to his face, his expression of joy. You wanted to see his expression over and over for the rest of your life. You wanted to be able to see him grow as a professional, you wanted to help him, encourage him, love him, and shower him with words, kisses, hugs.

You loved him. So much.

“Yes” you replied, closing your eyes and smiling at him “Congratulations, Koutarou” you took his free hand and squeezed it a little. Bokuto acted as always before you displayed affection, he only corresponded “You did a good job, you are too cool, I am very happy” you swallowed to open your eyes and look him in the eyes “Uh..., I wanted to ask you something”

“Uh, what's going on Y/N-chan?” before the compliments, the boy with golden eyes looked at you with emotion “What's wrong? What's up?"

The love you felt for Bokuto was different from the one you had with any other boy you met before, it was not the same, it was not even close to being the same. Bokuto was different. It was special. He was someone who was always there for you, regardless of time or place. Someone who always gave you love, hugged you, caused you things you never thought you would feel.

Your love for Bokuto made you weak.

“I like you, Taro. Like, I have like you for a long, long time. I wanted to ask you if you could give me your second button” the words came out softly, a deep pink sneaked down your cheeks while you did not break eye contact with Bokuto. The grip of his hand with yours tightened a little, nervously.

“Ah...”

You blinked slightly confused when Bokuto released your hand and scratched the back of his neck. He avoided looking at you. At his action, your gaze began to slide down the features of his face, then down his neck to reach his shirt. Your heart began to beat strongly and quickly, your head began to process things slowly, your knees weakened, threatening to touch the ground.

His second button was missing.

His second button did not belong to you.

“I gave Rin-chan my button” his tone started to drop as if he was scared of hurting you “I really like her...”

Your ears stopped listening to his words, your lips trembled strongly. You shook your head, trying to push out negative emotions. You had to be happy for him. You had to be strong for him.

Bokuto had always been strong for you.

“Ah!” you said, closing your eyes and waving your hands nervously “I understand, don't worry, Bokuto!” you denied again, without opening your eyes “You must be very happy. Rin-chan is very pretty”

“Yeah…”

“I should go, Bokuto. Good luck” the last words were said softly, but they were loaded with sadness and pain. A bittersweet taste appeared on your lips "I love you very much"

Before he could answer you, you bowed to him and left.

Time goes fast. One day you have your heart beating for someone and at other, it's broken. One day you use dresses and you look beautiful in them, and at others, you wear a hakama that covers your whole body full of sadness.

You walked differently than how you walked when you wanted to be in his arms, how you wanted to jump and kiss his lips, how you walked when you were with him.

You weren't walking, you were running away.

You left through the main entrance to the building where the ceremony was taking place. Your breathing seemed to catch for every breath you took, your heartbeat that hurt, weighed, hitting the inside of your chest with so much force that you did not recognize if you were being beaten or you only had a broken heart. Your breathing quickened, it seemed to be following the pace of your heart. The same one that was aching and felt heavier than usual. It pounded with force against your chest that you weren’t sure if it was due to the running or because it shattered to pieces.

Little tiny pieces.

He does not love you.

“Y/N-san, congratulations”

Akaashi didn't know that your eyes could look so sad. He had never seen you cry, yes, he had seen you discouraged a few times, the way they looked so dull and broken, he could not ignore it. He couldn't ignore how sad you looked, worse when he knew why.

But he does.

“Akaashi -kun” you gave him a small cordial smile, his eyebrows furrowed slightly when you closed your eyes, small tears ran down your face "Thank you very much"

Akaashi's arms were not as huge as Bokuto's. They were not so muscular, so shocking, so strong. They did not look alike. They could not be compared.

But the hug he gave you, the hug that shook your whole body the moment you burst into tears in front of him reminded you of the hugs the gray-haired boy with black gave you whenever they won a game. It was a hug full of emotions, not joy or sorrow, emotions intertwined with feelings that could not be expressed in words.

As you broke into Akaashi's chest, you realized he didn't have a second button either.

favorite episode and why: i have a few but my favorite episode right now is naka-choko. i love the pacing of the episode, and i really liked randall’s story line and how hannibal and will interacted with it (granted randall wanted to be an animal but i’ll take the trans coding with very little shame) + will bringing hannibal the meat and the meal they shared… keeps me up at night

least favorite episode and why: i can usually find something i like about each episode but probably aperitivo, just because there’s too much mason plot beginning for my liking.. but the boat scene was cute though. also a lot of the red dragon episodes only because i didn’t get too attached to francis + i felt awful for reba

favorite main character: will :( not surprising at all but i love his character so much it overwhelms me, i relate to season 1 will very often 

if you could bring back one character who died, who would it be? it hurt so bad for beverly to die because i feel like she could’ve developed into a close friend for will (as much as he and hannibal’s jealousy would allow it), and as i love the concept of abigail coming back i honestly just want her to be in peace lmao so beverly!

favorite murder tableau: i think i’m tied between the angel maker’s crime scenes and will’s display of randall. the angel maker’s displays because of how intricate they were and it was a nice change from the less visually appealing and more gruesome crime scenes we got in season one, and will’s display because it made me scream when he reenacted the crime scene and it was hilarious watching him and hannibal flirt while jack was exhausted 

favorite blood spill: as painful as it is mizumono/will getting stabbed because of how many layers there are to the entire episode + abigail faking her death because of how unexpected it was/it reminds me of the movie possession

this is gonna be long!!!

namjoon looked so good. litcherally. i was ready to risk it all for him. seeing him on screen during the first song (it was dionysus) felt like getting hit by a train. 

speaking of dionysus,,, everyone looked really hot so i was very flustered sgjfvdgb (especially namjoon. especially him.)

hobi was sooo cute during wings like he did a liddle flying move it was adorable 

just dance was such a fun stage!!!! hobi is so charismatic and he sounded amazing too (he kinda sounded very nasal at the beginning but it stopped after a few moments) the part with the water cannons was awesome btw 

jungkook was so smiley!!!!! he was adorable during euphoria and he looked so happy :((( not to mention that he also sounded so clear so stable and so good (and during the last chorus he was like “sing it!!!!” and when he got back on the stage he did a cute walk as if he was on a school trip ssgjfbhkdn)

taehyung had no business looking that good during best of me. thats all i can remember from this song.

jimin sounded kinda weird at the beginning of serendipity (my friend thought that there was something wrong with the mic) like his voice was way too high?? but it was fine for the rest of the song so idk that was random ghhdgfhdb the dancing was perfect btw he was both delicate and powerful (and during the whole concert he was the one i noticed the most bc he had sm energy and he executed every move flawlessly) the whole stage was so pretty with the bubbles and all 

trivia love was so good!!!! namjoon is an amazing performer and i loved all the hearts they put on the screens too that was really cute (it was written “je t’aime paris” at the end of the song,, that was a nice little touch) 

they looked like they had sm fun during boy with luv (and at the end jk changed his love sign to a finger heart but he couldnt find the right camera it was cute)

taehyung said some words in french (i could only hear fantastique bc of all the screaming) and then he asked how his french was (we all yelled that it was good ofc) and then i think that jin said “you’re killing it” but im not sure shvfjgbk jungkook started singing champs élysées and his pronunciation was pretty good imo

jungkook put the rose from boy with luv behind his ear :(((

the whole dope/fire/baepsae medley was so fun (and yeah hobi did the splits and hip thrusted in our faces,,,, namjoon too)

jimin sounded the best during idol imo (with jin ofc)

singularity was a whole religious experience. the audience audibly gasped when taehyung opened his eyes in that bed like. he was so sultry and it felt like i was being hypnotised. that performance was perfect on all levels (and i loved the effects they put on the screen where he was split in red and in blue) icb i had the honor of witnessing that,,, he looked so mesmerising on the screen im still not over this (in general he looked divine everytime he was on screen,,, the charisma,,,,, the presence,,,,,, the aura,,,,,,,,and he looked absolutely adorable when he smiled)

the fake love outfits. incredible. never been done before. extraordinary. fantastique, as taehyung would say

yoongi’s voice sounded higher than i thought it would during seesaw (during the whole concert actually sjfhbkgb even when he talked??) he looked very pretty but it was personally the solo stage i liked the least :// like he didn’t make any mistakes and he sounded good when he sang but it had less impact than the others to me???

EPIPHANY!!!!!! jin sounded perfect and he wore glasses and i almost died. epiphany is better live than on the album imo,,, i just wish armys would have stayed QUIET!!!!!! they almost sang the whole song like bitch i payed to listen to jin not u!!!!!!! anyway jin was so stable and the background made him look like an angel (which he is) and his last adlibs were *chef kiss*

vocal line was perfect during the truth untold but i wish armys would have just,,,shut up svdbjg like this is a ballad?? why r u yelling??? why r u singing over the professional singers??? i kinda wanted to actually hear jungkook sing the “but i still want u” part???? anyway jimin and jk were in full vocal kings mode at the end it was amazing i’ll never get sick of this song (and taehyung’s voice is a gift, truly,,, jin too ofc) also the outfits were so good pls give the styling team a raise they litcherally looked like princes

TEAR WAS SO FUCKING GOOD OMG SGHVJHBGKJBKDJ okay so first off the effects they put on the screen with the green things were so fucking cool and rap line themselvesb too!! namjoon was incredible but hoseok??? mistre jung????????? in that dior outfit?????????????? his stage presence is unmatched. to be more detailed, namjoon sounded better live and had sm energy and hobi too (his part at the end... i am deceased) but i kinda felt like yoongi was a bit off? he was good ofc but idk it seemed to me that he had less energy than the other two (he was probably just tired or sick idk this is not me saying that he sucks ofc) 

i didn’t film anything for mic drop so i enjoyed it to the fullest hehe it was awesome (especially hobi’s part)

jin wore a cap during the encore. it was great.

anpanman was cute!!! i have to say that i was barely focusing on the song i was just looking at the bangtans playing around on those bouncy things and they looked really happy

taehyung said his pronunciation wasn’t good but that he prepared a few sentences in french and then he said “paris si vous aimez pouvez vous nous dire (?) l’année dernière était comme (?) pouvez-vous nous (?) s’il vous plaît? j’aime vraiment paris. je n’oublierai pas (?)” (paris if you like can you say (?) last year was like (?) could you (?) please? I really love paris. I won’t forget (?)... and at the end i think he asked us if we would come next year but im not sure bc people were screaming at some points) and he ended by saying i love you in korean and he teared up :((( it was so sweet of him to prepare all of this!!!

jimin talked for a while (in korean instead of french bc he wanted us to feel his sincerity) abt how during this tour he realised that he was really happy being around his members, the staff and the fans and that he genuinely hoped that we were too and that happiness was right next to us (and that he hoped that bts was in that happiness too) and he also thanked us several times and said i love u,,, he’s a sweetheart :((

hobi said that he prepared stuff in french even tho he wasn’t confident and said “aujourd’hui c’est la meilleure nuit de notre tour (?) on a terminé notre tour sans accident et ça nous a permis de sentir à quel point vous nous aimez (?) vous êtes vraiment notre espoir, merci d’avoir passé un bon temps avec nous, je vous aime, merci beaucoup” (today is the last night of our tour (?) we finished our tour without any accident and it allowed us to feel how much u love us (?) u guys are really our hope, thank u for spending a good time with us, i love u, thank u sm) im sorry i missed some words bc i genuinely can’t understand what he said shgvdjf other than that his pronunciation was good and it’s so sweet that he prepared all that,,, he looked kinda nervous but he smiled a lot and i think he was actually reading from the prompter??

other random things i remember: taehyung was in a really good mood (everyone actually, they were playing around a lot), hobi’s smile is so sunshiney, they poured water on each other a lot during encore (i watched jin sneaking up behind namjoon and spraying him sgfvjd they also watered jimin), there were some points where the mic quality wasn’t that good? idk maybe i just imagined it, i absolutely love how they used the screens it really added to the concert’s visuals, jin did a flying kiss during the first ment, jungkook went to the audience at the end but i was focusing on jin so i only realised he did that when jin was like “jungkook-ah” sjvfhjdgbkj, they weren’t extremely synchonized when dancing but they have great energy so it still looked good and overall i really enjoyed myself (me n my friend were ready to fight that one girl who kept screeching stuff at jungkook at random times tho,,,, icb she yelled shit at him during the truth untold like have some respect???)
