A few days ago I saw a gif from the Pokemon anime with James from Team Rocket and his Victreebel from way back.

After seeing that gif I can't help but imagine Emmet's Eelektross showing it's affection in a similar way. (with Ingo often having to pull Emmet out of his Partner Pokemon)

Ingo repeatedly told Emmet not to let his tynamo latch onto his fingers when they were younger, but Emmet didn’t listen. Now look what happened!

i moved back to the netherlands last friday and i still really feel like someone is holding my throat closed and something heavy is sitting on my chest & i keep tearing up at the smallest things. it is only a temporary state as i am planning to permanently move to denmark in 2024 but holy shit the way my body is responding to being outside of it is shocking to me

I'm old and I have no idea who Elliot Reed is. Is he the Elliot from E.T.?

Elliot Reid is a secondary character in the 2001-2009 sitcom Scrubs, which was popular enough that people put up with Zack Braff for years afterwords based on the goodwill. It's an all-time great sitcom, known for being among the most realistic depictions of being a doctor, and for ending every episode with someone (almost always protagonist JD) narrating over a song that no one thought to get the streaming rights for so the digital versions have some terrible redubs of some episodes. Elliot, so named because her parents wanted a boy, became a doctor purely because her dad wanted her to, and a lot of her arc involves learning self-confidence, and she's also the token Republican in a liberal setting and is uncomfortable naming the sexy body parts despite being a doctor, which makes her a very Dave Willis kind of character, kind of like Joyce as an MD.

The reason I was confused at Walky making an Elliot Reid reference is not just that the show ended 14 years ago and it's really dated a reference (it's a classic after all!), it's that Elliot...isn't the most memorable character in the show. She was one of the three titular Scrubs, but the show quickly changed to revolve around JD, Turk, Doctor Cox, and Carla, it was honestly hard to find an episode ending that featured her at all and even the one I found is mostly about JD and isn't one of the really famous endings that get into YouTube compilations. When Walky says he's been "Elliot Reided into pre-mature emotional vulnerability" I have no idea what the fuck he's talking about, and I really liked Scrubs as a kid.

I know how you feel about being around since the beginning. I remember when I watched season 1 for the first time. I was at home and it was the 4th of July and it popped up on my Netflix and it’s name sounded so ridiculous but the trailer looked so amazing. I binged it all in one night. This show has had a choke hold on my heart for such a long time and I feel devastated that it’s over

omg bc it was literally a show you couldn't stop watching?? ive heard some ppl thought it was too slow but i feel it was paced just right to the point of keeping the audience entertained and anticipated.

the devastation is so real bc with this type of show you would have expected at least 3+ seasons to fully explore the heroes arc from start to finish with multiple "villains" along the way. it was only right for such a deep and layered character like ava to go though many stages of her ignorance / obligation / rebellion / acceptance etc etc towards the halo and her duty. dont even get me started on the whole ocs staff member jjfjr

each character had so much fucking potential not only as individuals but as a group dynamic. i mean u can literally put ava or camila in a room with anyone and its like the most entertaining shit ever
