I've been rereading the series since hotd and Roose going "even here, in my happy house of Harrenhal" is goddamned hysterical. Most haunted, cursed castle ever and he's doing a cute little alliteration for it. Addams family vibes.

It’s fun to compare scenes where he talks to people above him/in tense situations/in public (like scenes with king robb), with scenes of him talking in private to people that are beneath him or that he clearly has the upper hand against... He watches his words a lot in the former and comes across polite and cold/serious (in the very high stakes red wedding chapter he barely says anything), but when he talks to the latter (scenes with Jaime, Ramsay, Theon...) he gets somewhat of an attitude since he can afford to be himself more as there are less repercussions if the other person is offended (most clearly you can see it when he talks to Reek).

He definitely has a frequent sense of humor, though often the things he says are only funny to himself, since he usually jokes about serious situations or offensive/insulting things, and sometimes even about things the other person doesn’t know about yet

“Harrion Karstark was captive here when we took the castle, did you know? I gave him all the Karhold men still with me and sent him off with Glover. I do hope nothing ill befell him at Duskendale...” [he sent him out to die] - aSoS

Also fun to see how much he starts dominating conversations when he really gets into it... He’s a very talkative guy especially when he gets to either tell a story from his perspective or impart some hypothesis (like his long explanation to Jaime about what he thinks Vargo Hoat’s motives are)

crow's feet :3c i wrote "1987 – 2005" but really it's probably more like "1990 – 2005" but birth year was easier than trying to decide exactly what year harrison started to be a piece of shit 🤷and also really his abuse did continue intermittently even after flash moved out in 2005 but not consistently since flash wasn't around him very much after that (but like, there's the incident in 2006... and some later incidents in 2013 ish) — that's what the ptsd is referring to also though by this age i think she's mostly fine... small things can still get to her of course but by 50 she's very well-adjusted and much, much happier than she was 30 years ago.

and of course... recovered/recovering alcoholic... that's kind of a lifelong thing of course

carpal tunnel is just from using a wheelchair for 30+ years

peter gets a soul patch in his late 40s because it's a law of the universe that if he's middle aged he needs to have questionable facial hair and i didn't feel like trying to draw the full goatee when i designed their older looks and i still don't (also because he looks too much like dr strange when he has the goatee AND the white streak tbh lmfao)

if peter lived into his 50s you know he'd be going fully silver w/in a couple of years already — the stress 😂 it's making him a silver fox... well. it's given him a skunk stripe at least (cause i always think it's cute when he gets a white streak when middle aged in comics)

he's got that fuzzy neck and fangs too from man-spider (even w/ the missing front teeth XD) (normally he wears partial dentures but i figured he probably doesn't sleep in them) — missing teeth, broken clavicle and one of the times he had his right scapula broken are all from the same incident which happens in 2032 and which i haven't written yet but may or may not involve a Kraven of some kind... (the first time he had the same scapula broken was by the jackal which i ALSO have not written yet... but is 2012)

busted-ass nose from when he fought doc ock around high school graduation and insisted he didn't need it looked at

also peter is 4 months younger than flash, thus 49.9 😂😂😂 it's ALMOST his birthday here okay, he's basically 50,

obviously flash has some of her own scars... maybe not quite as many as peter but losing both your legs probably counts for a few XD

and i decided to draw her a little bit fuzzy cause she's 50 here and she doesn't shave (her body) all the time anymore but... you can barely see it anyway since the hairs are red XD

trying to decide flash's level of muscle as a 50 year old woman is also difficult and i am still not sure how much tummy to give her... i probably could have given her more, though i guess she and peter still have a lot of sex....... either way i know she still has those guns even with carpal tunnel in both wrists lol

similar dilemma with peter but peter has the wrinkle of needing to eat over 5000 calories a day just to not lose weight so i think he's more likely to remain very svelte on top of refusing to like, retire from spider-man... bro take a break you already have arthritis and nerve damage which i forgot to label,

(the nerve damage is from the burn scar though) (it was real bad) (i haven't written that one yet but it's in 2009. nothing complicated, he just runs into a burning building to save people while wearing a polyester costume is all—not Trauma, just Stupidity) (...i mean, medically speaking it's burn trauma, but)

compression glove for aforementioned arthritis. he has arthritis all over, like his shoulders and stuff, but his left wrist is the worst because of when fisk broke it and he set it himself at home so it never totally healed right, but is manageable until he hits his forties and it starts getting arthritic before any of the rest of his joints 🤷 actually iirc it probably starts twinging in his 30s... but by 49 it's his whole arm for sure... plus his right shoulder... probably most of his fingers... left knee not arthritis just the nerve damage... wouldn't be surprised if he gets a sore neck from all that spidey whiplash... probably tennis elbow too lbr... yeah, he really should retire lol

also you can see his weird ribcage divots from when the extra arms in man-spider fell off...

flash and peter both got the knuckle scars—peter normally wouldn't but in 2007 he is currently spending a lot of time busting his knuckles open (peter: um some people mangle their hands punching steel and concrete to cope,) so they don't get a chance to heal fully and he ends up with scars from it.

sexual assault survivor referring to both skip in 2000 (which is finally being mentioned more concretely but i have made allusions to before) as well as the jackal in 2012 (which i have not written yet but have a lot of notes for) (well, i have a lot of notes for all of this, really,) - those are also both the major sources of his PTSD, particularly the jackal, though he's got other traumas too like his abandonment issues (parents' death) and his uncle's death... he's just been through a lot in general. unlike flash he isn't like, mostly fine, either, and therapy didn't really work out for him, so he's on... meds lol though idk maybe by 50 he doesn't need them anymore..... when he was in his 20s and 30s for sure though... he is a man prone to flashbacks and nightmares... hyperfixation... and 2012 will be a very traumatic year for him if/when i write that fic...

anyway it's fine, he's fine,

flash i'm actually still not 100% sure i will do though, she might die of a broken heart/lots of stress from the very public death of her husband of 23 years (partner for almost 30)/heart problems from limited mobility (exacerbated by the carpal tunnel) or...... she might live longer, idk yet... idk if i'll even ever write that part... who knows!!!

me like angst😂 it's happy too though!!! i mean sure tragic ending eventually but also they are together for nearly 30 years despite all odds and that's not tragic at all... they love each other... 🥺🥰

though for flash 50 feels like a longer time than she'd ever expected, like, this is a woman who never thought she'd even make it to 20, you know???? so 50 is a pretty big deal. regardless of if i have her live longer than peter or not, though, i don't think she's surprised when he dies... like, upset yes, but... there have been so many times she's worried he'd never come home so it's only a shock in that it's emotionally devastating, not surprising at all. a long time coming... RIP

oh update in july lmao: i realized i had forgotten about a scar peter will probably acquire in 2012 in my notes and only found it skimming thru my timeline recently to edit some stuff so i sketched this real quick:

though in my mind this sketch is of peter when he's still in his mid to late 20s... but the handprint is obviously a mark of kaine print (though I think i may have made it too small XD considering peter already has big ol hands and kaine is 4 inches taller than him) think of it as something like a grab while grappling during a fight, like wrestling or whatever—though i'm ngl i'm still working out some details but i think when peter is first kidnapped by warren, he may attack kaine, for reasons having to do with his aunt, though like i said i'm still working out some stuff so there isss a chance i scrap this scar anyway... we'll see if i ever make it that far (current fic is 2007 and this would be 2012 after all but i may end up time skipping at some point like i did with, for example, curse of the man-spider)

drawing peter on a towel was the only way i could think of to get his back bare at this point too. he really buttons up for a while there.

Team dimple and the staff gets A-Yao ready, whereas Qin Su was getting ready with the help of maids. The entire Jing Manor  was elegantly decorated with sheer red satin cloth and golden ribbons. Peonies and rose petals adorned the floor ceramic ornaments were filled with pearls and diamonds.

Fox spirits, Laoling Qin sect members and peacock spirits were also in attendance~ along with other guests of course.

Mo xuanyu: Yao gege, you look fab.

He has to be the boss or the dad or somehow the strong one in so many of his relationships, so I just want him to be the baby with his parents and sibling(s) to give him a break and have a different dynamic

Lately, my inability to decide things has given me the idea of Bobby being adopted (his brother is still his bio brother), and I’m rather fond of that. It gives me the best of both worlds with crappy bio parents traumatizing him for a few years before he's properly raised by loving adoptive parents. It also fits wonderfully with my idea that he grew up comparing himself to Superman bc his parents called him their little Superman

I do think they inadvertently pushed the "all boys have to be firefighters" thing a little too hard, though. He was just suspiciously unhappy when he revealed that, and it's hard for me not to think there's baggage attached considering how long it took him to tell anyone that he's a fourth-generation firefighter when he should be proud of that. It's become my firm belief since then that he didn't necessarily want to be a firefighter when he was a kid, but he did it to make them happy and bc he felt like he didn't have a choice

I waver a lot about the specifics of Bobby's relationship with his brother, but I do usually think they have a rivalry about who's the better firefighter that mostly stems from Bobby thinking he has to be the absolute best at everything to be worthy of anyone's love (bc I fully believe he's felt like that since long before he broke his back)

I don't have a name for his brother (I used to, but I based it on headcanons I made before the firefighter family reveal and it doesn't feel right in light of the changes that made me make, and I haven't picked a new one yet), but I do think he's happily married with a minimum of three kids. Unlike Bobby, he was always excited to be a firefighter, and he always made it look effortless (their dad absolutely gave them some sort of training when they were growing up to make sure they would be ready for the academy)

I don't know if I think he actually has more siblings in canon, but I want him to have a sister too so I did create a new AU last week where I decided that Captain Shore from May Day is that sister. She's the eldest, her wife is an ER nurse named Jordin, and they have three adopted kids. I pushed the firefighter family legacy & their dad training only the boys for it to an angsty extreme in that, so she moved to LA the second she was old enough and built her life there, and only stayed in contact with their mother until Bobby moved to LA too. They fix their relationship and, when they eventually go back to Minnesota, they do it together

On the back to Minnesota note, I also think that Bobby hasn't actually spoken to any of them since he moved to LA, or even since Marcy and the kids' funeral. It just explains too much, like why they were never invited to the wedding and why he never talks about them and why they never visit even when he's been hurt. At first he just wanted to make his death easier on them, and later it just became the fact that he doesn't know how to reach back out. There's just... so much that he doesn't know how to explain, so much he doesn't know how to face again. They keep up with his life as much as they can through news and stuff, but they don't know how to reach out either

All in all, I think he has a family full of wonderful people who love him, but the combo of his own personality and the pressure to carry the family legacy soured some things as he got older and struggled to find his place in the world, and the cracks truly started showing once he broke his back, and everything finally fell apart after the fire and they have yet to fix it

withholding the final episode from us poor europeans for a full day was a crime, an exercise in frustration and a challenge in restraint (from looking up spoilers) but here we are. Soo. at long last, some thoughts.

1. that was A LOT. I’m gonna need days to process everything.

2. right off the bat, I just wanna say. it was a touch too sad for me, to the point that the excessive melodrama of it all made me unable to even shed a tear because it was all So Much.

3. I really think the main issue here is pacing more than anything, because if they had spaced out these THREE depressing ass storylines throughout the season, they would have been dealt with better, without crowding the wedding episode with so much sadness.

4. Rafael Silva is insane. for an actor on his FIRST acting gig, that’s some CRAZY acting. I am genuinely so impressed.

5. I think only 10 minutes of wedding content out of two hours at the end of a season that has been building up to it so much was maybe not quite enough to be fully satisfying, especially because we know they filmed so much more and everything got cut. but this is just my opinion obvs

6. BEING ALIVE. talking about something that couldn’t have worked better. LISTEN, never in a million years would have I thought to hear Being Alive on a fox procedural show and in this context???? whoever picked this song needs a raise. this entire scene was PERFECTION.

7. also loved the scene of tommy comforting andrea and speaking spanish to her. such a lovely heartfelt touch. now stop taking lone star ladies’ husbands away from them though. edit because I forgot: the second proposal!! another GREAT scene and I’m not somebody who generally likes people getting down on one knee to propose but the gesture was SO carlos that it worked perfectly

8. I wanted more dancing, the dancing looked so fun. and more honeymoon. but you can’t have everything I guess

9. idk like I said I need time to process but aside from everything else, one thing that this finale nails is the show of unwavering mutual love and faith in each other tk and carlos have for each other. and it’s nothing new but they truly are each other’s rock, each other’s miracle. and this episode couldn’t have showed it better.

10. just. PLEASE S5 GIVE THEM A FUCKING BREAK IM BEGGING. a fluffy storyline, a joy, a kitten, another lizard, I’ll take anything

Glamour and Gold (fantasy AU) chara and verse notes

Robert:

Kitsune in his late 300s age-wise. 400s would be more fitting but a) I didn't want to make him 420, b) he would've had four tails instead of three and I couldn't resist making him a literal golden fox 03

I completely made up the kill/marry condition for kitsune who've been "outed" to humans (though it comes from Saint Seiya's female saint condition for seeing their faces). "Kill" can mean literal kill but it could probably also be memory erasure which would kill their sense of self/history in a way depending on how much is erased. I'll probably have to refine this and whether "losing your magic" means also stuck in human/part human form forever but it seemed like too much effort for a oneshot (which is no longer a standalone so lmao)

I also have to think about what marriage entails besides going up a mountain to get married in a sunshower for a fox's wedding or something and some magically binding vows

Rob normally looks completely human, though if he gets very relaxed/inattentive it's possible for his more inhuman traits to peek through. Slitted pupils, fox ears, the three tails, sharp teeth and claws, fur covering the body, etc.

While masquerading as a human he has a smaller mana pool (because he has to dedicate some to concealing his features and/or expending that much mana in a tiny human form would be Bad)

Generally a healer with various hp/status restoration spells, though he also has defensive magic like barriers, binding, and status infliction

He has light magic but it's not very offensively oriented, mainly used for blinding/distractions and minor illusions

He also has knowledge of herbs and non magical healing

All his spells get much stronger in his fox form. I'm debating whether he gains the ability to use fire spells too because foxfire lmao. Obviously he gains the use of teeth and claws and a larger body as well.

His fox form is about as tall as an elephant and can carry two or three people at once.

His fur is golden with white-tipped ears, paws, muzzle and tails. He is somewhat vain about it and hates getting it dirty or dishevelled. He will absolutely preen if it's complimented.

He wears voluminous hooded robes normally in case his fox ears/tails pop out so he can quickly throw his hood up and have the tails be hidden under the robe. Lucky for him it isn't unusual for healing mages to favour these clothes.

Argued with Falcon like an old married couple long before they actually get married

On that note doesn't give a fuck about whether he's seen as the "wife" or w/e, whether it's due to clothes or his role in the partnership

His father (also a kitsune) died under mysterious circumstances and as he travels with Falcon he's been keeping an ear out for any leads about it

Falcon:

Human martial artist with minor magic abilities, mostly augmenting his physical capabilities and setting himself on fire. He can shoot fireballs but prefers physical combat.

Smaller-scale or more controlled spells are difficult for him, it's either 0 or 100. On that note, don't ask him to light a candle with his magic.

His fire is normally orange but can turn superheated blue if he's stat buffed a lot or extremely emotional

Has trouble against foes that are resistant to fire and physical (ie. dragons lol)

Known by the mononym "Falcon" across the continent. Recognized for both the speed with which he completes difficult quests and the mystery behind him never showing his whole face or revealing his true name

He accepts payment most of the time because he needs money to live but he'll absolutely do good deeds for free if the situation calls for it

Used to adventure solo but one day Rob was sitting in the adventurer's guild lobby when he limped in to collect a difficult bounty and bullied him into accepting treatment. Eventually Rob got tired of patching him up after the fact and just started following him despite his lone wolf assertions

Similar to mainverse I have him friendly with James here for intel/same line of work reasons, though he usually takes on higher difficulty quests than James' crew

Jody has been trying to get Falcon to join the official adventurer's association guild for years and he says no every time. She handles official quest postings, adventurer support, and payment, and is still an active quester herself.

Falcon's clothes are enchanted to be fireproof. I'm torn between having him generally wear loose-ish blue tops/pants that are easy to move around in but impractically tight clothes if he's in an area with people, and just having him wear impractically tight clothes all the time bc he's just Like That™.

His hair is covered by a red bandana and his eyes uhhhh maybe some kind of enchanted gold beaked half mask that covers the top of his nose and up that lets him see through but doesn't let others see in? I'd have to draw it to see if it looks stupid or if a black eye covering would look better.

He has a crossbow but never seems to use it except when hunting for food

Wanders around a lot hopping from inn to inn or camping out. No one knows where his home is, if he has one (he does have a small hidden base)

James:

Is still the leader of a mercenary crew, with a wife and young (for a kitsune) son at home

Also a kitsune, is in his early 300s and childhood friends with Robert

A bit more joking and easygoing than his mainverse self + a bit harder to fluster (which is still not very hard)

Don't ask him about his wife and son, he will talk your ears off and his own foxy ears may or may not pop out too if he gets really into it because of how happy they make him. Like as he rambles on his pupils slowly lengthen and so do his teeth and nails and oops here comes the ears and tails.

His team politely pretends they don't notice any of it because James is truly spectacularly bad at keeping his foxlike bits/habits under wraps but really, James, naming your child Fox? (James insists that a child named Fox is the last person you'd think would actually be a fox but)

On that note I'm not sure if his team is even human here either so the reveal condition might not apply to them (I didn't think very hard about the marry/kill thing lmao). If they know they absolutely have to cover for him sometimes. Whether James knows that they know is also up for debate I feel like he'd tell them once he came to trust them and whenever that confession was the reaction was just like (crickets) James. We know.

Generally takes on mid-rank quests, though they'll take lower ones if the pickings are slim

Met Falcon when they were having trouble with an A-rank and Falcon dropped in, downed the target, and left without collecting evidence for the bounty. James' crew collected the reward and James tried to pay him back the next few times he saw him but Falcon either ignored him, started monologuing about something completely irrelevant, or just straight up left. James decided they were now besties and still considers himself to owe Falcon a debt.

Fights with a crossbow at long to mid range and daggers at close range

Can also shoot fire bullets and makes a stupid finger guns gesture every time he does. These bullets grow bigger in his fox form and shoot from the tips of his tails instead.

I don't have an altar, but I've been wanting to make one for a long time. I am not very familiar with this. I would love to build a proper altar for my ancestors. I was not raised in any religion, but I do believe in remembering and honouring your ancestors.

Even as a child, I thought that the dead would be born again into their family. As an adult I've heard this is what used to be widely believed in Finland. It does encourage me to start properly honuring my ancestors. Maybe they are encouraging me to do that, too? I have thought of them a lot in the past year and the war in Ukraine has made me think of my grandparents especially since they experienced the war here.

I feel a little lost, so thank you very much! I will follow your instructions. Porridge with voisilmä sounds like a good idea. I have some cognac that might be appreciated as well.

You're welcome :3 The best thing with home altar building is that you can make it look anyway you like! You can adjust it, change it, make it yours. Simple, sparkly, natural, overflowing, graceful etc. You can also use it as you wish. My friend pulls every morning 3 tarot cards and puts them on the altar as the energy messages she needs to concentrate on that day. If the message is significant to her, she leaves the cards on the altar as long until she feels it's time to pull new ones. The goal is the make the altar feel good to you and match your vibes.

Here's my altar currently. It's very simple as I like modern design and space. It has two parts; the whole top of the drawer is an alter. I can use spell candles in all candle holders. The wooden circle is the most sacred part of the altar. Offerings go in front of it, majority of the spells and prayers are done on the circle.

While I can utilize the whole drawer surface to put items on (as you can see a match box on left), the sacred circle never ever has anything but altar items on it. I can leave whatever I want on the black surface besides the altar circle but never in front, on top or behind it.

On the altar circle I have now Inari's fox messenger from Japan, 3 tealights, a Japanese wedding cat couple, and a salt plate behind the piece of paper which has a spiritual love poem. Behind it is a wooden torii-gate and Japanese small stone animals, all praying with their eyes closed. All very cute, and lots of Japanese things, as both make me really happy! :3

The drawer under the altar is dedicated for oracle cards, candles, magical oils, spell items, divination tools, offerings (chocolate at this moment) and some natural health stuff.

Before I got this drawer, my altar was on a windowsill. It's my "2nd altar" nowadays, and it's kept purposely peaceful, with carefully selected items and candles.

Everything else in the house can be a mess and items here and there but not on these two places :D

This is just my way of working with the altar. I hope it inspires you to create your own kind of an altar :3

The sun in shining, the birds are chirping and the soft breeze brushes through my hair. This is Rome in September and I know that if I said to Henry I would want to go here every September, he’d arrange it for us.

Just like he did now, Henry would arrange the most beautiful presidential suite with a balcony, a jacuzzi and the softest bed you’ve ever slept on. Sometimes I’m afraid I’m getting too spoiled, but when I express my fears to him, he simply leans down, gives me a kiss and tells me I deserve it and should enjoy it.

To spend our second year anniversary in a city like Rome, is something I never imagined. I actually never imagined that I would ever spend an anniversary with someone. Not because I don’t have any faith in Henry and me, but more because I never thought I’d be in a loving relationship, long enough to spend these types of anniversaries together.

The two of us decided that the day we met, would be our anniversary date.

September 23rd. Two years ago we met. Two years ago he changed my life forever and I changed his.

Henry holds my hand tightly in his. ‘I love you,’ he says, kissing the back of my hand.

I chuckle. ‘I love you too, honey. It’s been two years since we’ve met.’

‘Yeah,’ he says, ‘time flew by.’

‘It sure did,’ I say to him.

‘Not only have I gained the best archivist Midnight ever had, but I also got a beautiful girlfriend and I can now say that I’m the boyfriend of a New York Times Bestselling Author with an extra book deal.’

Even after we spend so much time together and we know each other so well, I still blush around him when he hands out compliments like that. ‘That’s so sweet,’ I say. ‘Where are we going?’

‘A nice place I rented. It’s I think a few minutes from here.’

‘You rented an entire place?’ I ask him.

‘Just one floor,’ he says with a shit eating grin on his face, the one he has recently discovered when he shamelessly flaunts his wealth in my face. I want to roll my eyes, but seeing Henry this confident and cocky and happy, makes me laugh as well.

After our first anniversary, a lot changed for the two of us. I still work in the archives, but mostly because I liked it there and it gave me plenty of time to not only work on my first book, but also on my second one. The following February, two weeks before my birthday, my book got released and not long after that, I reached the number three on the New York Times Bestselling list. My book reached number three! My debut novel. It’s unbelievable. It’s all thanks to the magnificent job Roger and his team has been doing to advertise my book to the public. I was never on Instagram, because I didn’t have a phone that would allow it and when I met Henry, I didn’t really think about it anymore. But now, I’m officially on Instagram and while it’s a bit weird, I still really enjoy to see the beautiful fan art and the stories of the readers about what my book did to them personally.

I moved out of my first apartment, since I was hanging around Henry’s place most of the time anyway. I mean, his place has the private gym and we added a sauna to it, because he didn’t forget my joke from a while ago. My pink and pastel influences are shattered around his place now and in his home office, we placed another desk, so we could work together.

Yes, we are that type of couple.

Despite our age gap, I barely notice it in our day to day life. He is in such good shape for someone who is only two years away from hitting fifty and he is really up to date with trends and technology. I mean, call me digital illiterate, because he had to show me how Instagram worked. I don’t want to say he’s old (because it’s obvious he is older than me), but I thought that eventually I would notice the difference in age.

I don’t.

It’s just that sometimes he says something about his grayish hairs, how he isn’t in the best shape anymore and how he needs to watch his food, after a check up. Honestly, I don’t see his “bad” shape. I only fall more and more in love with him. Besides, the second he becomes a complete silver fox, is also the second I will jump him every chance I get.

‘Thank you for taking me to Rome,’ I say. ‘I can’t wait to travel to even more countries with you. I’m such a lucky woman. All those beautiful places in the world, right at my finger tips. Isn’t that amazing?’

‘It sure is.’

‘Is there a place in the world you want to see?’

‘Well, as long as you are there with me, I’d love any place. Besides, I did my fair share of traveling, I’ve seen a lot. It doesn’t matter to me.’

‘You don’t mind that I’m awfully inexperienced with traveling?’

He scoffs. ‘No, of course not. It makes the experience even better. That way I can show you all the beautiful places in the world and see your surprised face.’

We walk into a restaurant and the waiter escorts us to the elevator. We go up and we actually get out on the roof. My mouth falls open, before I squeal. ‘Honey, this is fantastic.’ I give him a kiss and the two of us walk towards the table. He helps me in my seat, before he sits across from me. He pours in some wine for me.

‘You like it?’ he asks.

‘Of course. Everything you arrange for me I love.’ I look over my shoulder, to see the waiter has left. ‘I love what you do for me, daddy.’

He bites his lip. ‘I’m going to sound like a broken record, baby girl, but I love it when you call me like that.’

‘I know.’ I look around, admiring the view and say: ‘Thank you for arranging this for us.’

‘I want the best for my baby girl,’ he says with a smile. ‘Only the best.’ He holds out his hand and I place mine in it. ‘You know, I sometimes can’t believe I actually met you.’

‘Why not?’

‘Well, when I signed up, I only did it because I didn’t want to be alone anymore. Never in a million years I expected myself falling head over heels with you, when the two of us were only supposed to have a sugar daddy/baby thing. But you were just amazing, kind and caring. Beautiful, considerate and funny. I remember when I first laid my eyes on you. I thought to myself: this could actually be it. This could be the woman I’ll fall for and for me to love endlessly.’

That… Is so sweet.

‘I kept thinking about every pro and con. While our personalities matched, you were a lot younger than I were. While I finally had someone who I can give the life she deserves, there is a possibility she’ll never see me as more than just a sugar daddy. It was difficult, because you were more than a sugar baby to me, though I tried to deny that multiple times. The relief I felt when you and I… That we have what we have. That you stayed when I needed you and vice versa.’

I smile. ‘Of course I did, silly. I have never felt this about someone ever before nor will I ever feel about this about anyone.’

Henry nods. ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you,’ he says. ‘I want us to build a future together. I want to buy a house with you, have a dog and tons of kids with you, though it has to be an even number. But before we do that, there is just one thing I need to ask you.’

Henry gets up from the chair, searches his pocket and I see he has a blush pink velvet box in his hand.

Is this what I think it is?

‘My sweet Becky,’ he says, sitting down on one knee, ‘it’d be such an honor if you would become my wife, that you are gonna be mrs. Cavill. Baby girl, will you marry me?’

He reveals such a delicate and beautiful ring to me.

Maybe, maybe, I’m experiencing some shock. I knew that Henry would propose to me one day, he literally told me so many times that he’d propose, but now that it’s happening, I just can’t believe it.

‘Really?’

He smiles. ‘Really, my love. There is no one else in the world I’d want to spend the rest of my life with. You are the only one. My only one.’

I place my shaking hand in front of my lips. ‘Yes,’ I whisper. ‘Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes. I want to marry you, Henry.’

He takes the ring from the little box, before gently sliding it on my finger. I look at it for a few seconds, before I wrap my arms around his shoulders.

‘We’re engaged?’ I ask him.

‘Yes, baby, we’re engaged.’

I press my lips on his, as tears of joy and happiness drip down my face. I’m gonna get married.

‘Oh yeah, our Becky is engaged!’ I look over my shoulder to see Genevieve, Viola, Noah and Greg rushing up to me and is that Gino I see, with Peter from the boutique?

‘Show me the ring,’ Viola says and I hold out my hand.

Noah lets out a whistle. ‘Damn, mister Cavill.’

Gino gives me a big hug and two kisses on my cheeks. ‘Congratulations, darling.’

I can’t believe Henry flew out our friends to Italy, but it totally seems like something he would do. I bet he arranged a private jet for them and the best hotel.

‘We’re getting married,’ Genevieve shouts.

‘Technically, sweetheart,’ Greg says, ‘it’s Becky that is getting married.’

Genevieve rolls her eyes. ‘Well, Viola and I are gonna be bridesmaids and we’re going to plan a wedding. The ring is absolutely beautiful. Really, Henry, you need to help out Greg when he wants to propose to me.’

Henry chuckles, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. ‘I’ll help him out when the time is right, Gen.’ He kisses my temple and says: ‘How about we celebrate?’

I keep staring at my ring, mainly because it’s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and it’s mine. While Henry’s checking the locks, I’m already in bed. This ring still takes my breath away. It’s gorgeous and I bet it was expensive.

‘There she is,’ Henry says, as he walks in the bedroom in just his boxers. ‘My beautiful fiancée.’

‘I am sure it’ll take awhile before I get used to that,’ I say.

Henry steps underneath the covers and ushers me over. ‘But you’ll always be my baby girl,’ he says. ‘Even when you become my wife.’

I hum in content, as I nestle myself against him, in his strong embrace. ‘Just like you’ll always be my daddy,’ I whisper. I place my head on his thick arm, so I can look up at him and still stare at his handsome face. ‘We need to start planning a wedding. When do you want to get married?’

‘I don’t mind,’ he says. ‘We could even elope.’

‘We’re never going to elope,’ I say. ‘Don’t you ever say that again. I deserve a wedding. Back in juvie, both times, I’d envision myself getting married, buying a house, having a family and growing older with someone. I owe it to teen Becky to have a fantastic wedding.’

He chuckles. ‘Okay, we will not elope. What did you think about back then?’

‘A spring wedding outside,’ I say, ‘with pink blossom trees around us. A tent or a large cabin or something where we’ll get married and afterwards, people can dance, eat and talk to each other. A Photo Booth for people to make pictures on. Disposable camera’s on the tables and a photographer. My friends and their family are there, your friends. I want it to be intimate, but not too small, like maybe fifty to seventy people. I want a wedding dress on the tighter side, but I have never tried on wedding dresses, so I might be surprised. But I want to dress to have little illusion sleeves, a veil and a hairband with diamonds.’

Henry nods in approval. ‘Sounds lovely and that can all be arranged. What do you want me to wear?’

‘Champagne colored suit,’ I say. ‘The bridesmaids dresses could be in a pastel color. Okay, who am I kidding? I want those dresses to be pink.’

‘Of course.’ He lets out a content sigh. ‘We can arrange all sorts of things. Whatever you want for the wedding, it’s yours.’

‘And I want the date and each other’s names engraved in the inside of the ring.’

‘I love that.’ Henry gives me a kiss on my forehead. ‘A lot to plan, but also a lot to look forward to. I cannot wait to call you my wife.’

‘Oh, me neither. And then after that, we can start our life together as a married couple.’

‘At least four kids, right?’ Henry jokes.

‘At least,’ I say in all seriousness.

‘Why don’t you want an uneven number?’

I scrunch up my nose. ‘Because I come from a family of uneven number. I don’t want that. I know, it’s stupid, but…’

‘It’s not stupid, it’s understandable,’ he says. ‘So, for imaginary sake, let’s say you and I have five kids.’

‘Damn.’

‘Imaginary sake, baby girl, remember that,’ he snickers. ‘And then we have twins, making it seven.’

‘We’ll go for the eighth,’ I say to him. ‘Really, Henry.’

He laughs. ‘Wow, you’re quite something.’

‘You’re up for it?’

‘With you? Of course. I can’t wait to have multiple mini you’s and me’s running around to place.’ He pulls me closer and says: ‘You’ll be an amazing mother, I just know it.’

‘And you’ll be an amazing dad.’ I circle my finger around his chest. ‘Would you mind if I stopped working as your archivist and become a stay at home mom, who also writes?’

He shakes his head. ‘Of course I don’t mind. Whatever you want, I support you.’

‘You don’t think it’s weird?’

He frowns. ‘Why would I think it’s weird? Honestly, baby girl, if you wanted to become a career woman, I’d support it. If you want to become a stay at home mom, I also support it. No matter what you do, I’m your biggest supporter and fan.’ He gives me a sweet peck on my lips. ‘Don’t you worry about those things, okay?’

‘Okay,’ I whisper, already a bit more at ease. ‘You know, it has always been my dream to become a mother.’

‘Really?’

‘Yeah,’ I say. ‘It’s just that I figured I’d never meet someone who I wanted kids with. With the dysfunctional family I’m from, I wanted a partner who I could trust and rely on. And that partner is you, Henry. My future husband.’

He remembers a time where hybrids used to be a lot more common: humans will fuck anything remotely humanoid

He doesnt remember if he has parents. By the time Wilbur was old enough to ask about them Philza made up the story that his parents went on to greet death when Wilbur was a baby

SCHLATT

I really like the idea of Schlatt being Tubbo's dad even though it probably wont be canon

When Schlatt was little he watched his father but heads with other ram/sheep hybrids(he found it very funny)

He has a horrid tendency to headbutt people he has strong emotions towards

How hard he headbutts you really depends on what emotions he feels in that moment. The more loving/kind the emotion is the softer he'll be

When in a good mood Schlatt would let Quackity touch his horns

Glatt is a dick head and he knows this. He plays it up to piss people off even more

He comes from a rather large community of ram/sheep hybrids though his family in particular was a little violent

Schlatts first name is Jamison

He has a small ram plush from when he was little: his mother gave it to him before she died

Surprise?

I decided to try writing a small notefic for the au prompt I posted the other day! I may end up writing the actual fic later, but here we go!

A secret relationship au where Talia kidnaps Damian and Mari to get them married to merge the order and the league, but they’re just like “we’re already married though?” And Mari just really wants to punch his mom and finally has the chance

·         Marinette is the guardian in training under her grandpa Fu

·         Her parents think that she visits him often to help him around the house and do tai chi together

·         Marinette meets Damian when he is injured on a mission

·         Marinette heals him

·         Damian is shocked by her kindness

·         The two bond over their mutual stresses as heirs to ancient organizations

·         The two meet whenever he has a mission in Paris

·         The League falls and Damian is sent to Gotham

·         Damian immediately contacts Marinette, but hides her from his family

·         Marinette helps him transition to living outside of the League

·         When they turn 13 Hawkmoth strikes

·         Marinette is a true ladybug and knows Damian is her soulmate and black cat

·         She uses Kaalki to give him the ring while Master Fu chooses other wielders to help her in battle

·         Bee!Chloe! is Golden Stinger

·         She and Marinette are friends because she saw the same scared kid as Damian in Chloe as kids and knew how to reach out

·         They have been inseparable ever since

·         Fox!Adrien is Swiper, because he’s going to swipe Hawkmoth’s miraculous!

·         This name is promptly vetoed by the rest of the team

·         Adrien then goes with Kitsune because he is our smol weeb boy

·         They all immediately know who each other is because they are true wielders, making them platonic soulmates

·         The team is brutal and efficient with Shadow monitoring the battle and running their coms from Gotham

·         Lila still happens, but is more effective in icing Marinette out because she is friends with Chloe

·         Marinette doesn’t care as much as she does in the show because she’s not as close with them

·         Adrien doesn’t bother with trying to appease Lila, he will not abandon Mari or Chloe

·         Lila doesn’t like this and turns her parents against her, so they begin neglecting her

·         Marinette is disappointed, but not surprised since they didn’t spend a lot of time with her anyways

·         Miracle Queen happens, but with Alya instead of Chloe

·         Marinette starts to crack when she is handed guardianship

·         She moves in with Chloe at Le Grand Paris

·         They start building a fashion brand together, Mari as designer and Chloe on the business side

·         Honey Blossom Designs quickly gains traction internationally due to the one and only Jagged Stone promoting “his rockin’ nieces!” every chance he can get

·         Chloe and Adrien are also main models, but wear masks to remain anonymous and to keep off of Gabriel’s radar

·         Hawkmoth is defeated when they are 16

·         Damian and Marinette officially start dating

·         He’s gotten this far without his family finding out about Marinette

·         He finally feels comfortable enough with them to trust them, but at the same time he wants to see how long he can keep the secrecy up

·         There was a close call when the trio portaled over to the manor for a movie night and got a bit too rambunctious

·         Damian proposes during one of their date nights in Paris when they are 17

·         She says yes!

·         The class wins the Wayne Enterprises trip and comes to Gotham during their senior year

·         The miraculous squad are all 18

·         The class tends to ignore them, so it was easy enough for them to slip away for an evening

·         Damian and Mari elope with Adrien and Chloe as their witnesses and the blessing of the kwamis

·         A week passes

·         Somehow with only three rogue attacks, which is truly shocking considering Lila is on the trip

·         Mari and Damian feel something is off and are both on high alert

·         Suddenly they feel a sting on their necks and then nothing

·         They wake up in a League of Assassins base in wedding robes

·         Damian looks around scowling until he notices their clothes

·         Marinette immediately notices their outfits and looks up at him confused

·         “Well it looks like mother approves of us”

·         Marinette just laughs upon realizing what is happening

·         She is unsure whether to be more incredulous or amused

·         Damian just raises his eyebrows, he has decided to be amused

·         Talia comes in with a speech prepared about how they must marry for the good of both of their organizations, she will kill their families if they don’t comply, etc.

·         She is surprised at what she sees when she actually looks at them

·         “Do you two know each other?”

·         “We got married last week.”

·         Now Talia is incredulous

·         Marinette sees her opening and takes it

·         She breaks Talia’s nose

·         “That’s for everything you did to him as a child!”

·         Talia is shocked and angry and is about to lunge until Damian steps between them

·         “So can we go now that we’ve cleared up the fact that we are already married?”

·         Talia just glares at them and leaves them there for the Bats to find later

·         A few hours later

·         The bats burst into the room and are relieved to find both Damian and the missing girl from the Paris class

·         Jason just stares at them until blurting out “Why the fuck are you dressed for a wedding?!”

·         “We will explain later, can we go now?”

·         The bats reluctantly agree to wait until they’re on the batplane to ask about what happened

·         The plane is filled with tense silence until Batman takes a deep breath

·         Lord give him the strength to deal with whatever bullshit Talia just pulled

·         “Talk.”

·         ”Father, meet my wife, Marinette Wayne. Marinette, this is my father Bruce Wayne, and these are my… brothers, Grayson, Todd, and Drake.”

·         “It’s so wonderful to finally meet you all! Dami has told me so much about you!”

·         The entire family just bluescreens

·         Jason is the first one to snap out of it

·         “TALIA MADE YOU GET MARRIED?”

·         “Tt. She tried, but we’ve already been married for a whole week.”

·         “Surprise?”

·         Jason, Dick and Tim are now yelling over each other and rapidly asking questions

·         Bruce may be broken

·         Damian and Marinette just enjoy the chaos

Hello. I love the prompt " the commission " can we have the full story please ? How will the avengers react of the news about Hawkmoth?

The full story will come later I promise! I unleashed so many things onto myself but I have no regrets XD Though I shall share some headcanons with you guys about the AU in the mean time!

* Pepper has been a fan of MDC since she saw the designs for Penny and Jagged’s wedding attire. Her and Penny are friends and when she asked who made Penny’s dress and Jagged’s suit, Penny was all too happy to tell her and brag about Marinette and show her everything else Mari had designed for her and Jagged and others. 

* When Tony officially proposed, Pepper already knew who she wanted to make her dress. She could tell Tony was hesitant to ask MDC since she wasn’t that well known yet, but they both knew he couldn’t say no to her, so it was no surprise when she caught him looking at her website and commission prices. Later she pretended not to notice him calling Penny and asking for MDC’s email. Pepper liked to let him believe he could keep anything from her, it was the thought that counted. 

* Peter, Harley, MJ, and Ned are all excited for the wedding. Peter gets to be the flower boy which he is super happy about and Harley is the ring bearer. 

* MJ is also a fan of MDC

* The whole “Minion” squad are Jagged Stone fans. Peter’s favorite album may or may not be Rock Giant.  👀

*The Minion Squad are all off school for summer already, Marinette just started summer since it’s the beginning days of July. While the Minion Squad plans to help plan the wedding, invent, prank the Avengers, and just have some good summer fun, Marinette plans to work on her MDC commissions since she knew she would be getting a lot. Penny had given her a heads up. Besides, there wasn’t much friends she could hang out with since Luka had told her that him, his sister, and his mom planned to sail around for the summer. Anarka wantedd to get the kids out of Paris for a while. Chloe and Sabrina would be going on vacation with Chloe’s mom to Milan for two weeks and then to New York for a month so Chloe could see her mother’s business and get a feel of it and see if it is something she would want to take over. Kagami and her mother would also be leaving Paris to visit family in Japan. The only ones she would be able to hang out with would be Alix, Nathaniel, and Marc. 

* Then she gets the email from Tony. Freaking. Stark! She nearly faints! Okay. She faints. He actually wants Marinette to design and make his and Pepper Potts wedding attire!!! His email said that he would house her and her team for however long she needed for the consulting period and the beginning work of the outfits. Okay actually it said till the outfits were done but she would discuss that with him and Pepper when she got there because wedding dresses typically took 6-9 months to make. She figured she had time as he did specify they were planning a December wedding of next year, something about it being a Christmas present. 

* After she talks it over with her parents, she responds to Tony that she would love to design and make his and Pepper’s wedding attire but before the discuss anything further she would like for them to video chat. Tony agrees later that day, which is more than enough time for Marinette to set up at Jagged and Penny’s house, they officially bought a house in Paris yes, along with her mother and father so they could talk everything over with Mr. Stark. When the camera connects, Tony swears he must be rebooting because he did not think that MDC was a 16 year old girl, but he adapts quickly and understands now why she wanted to discuss the arrangement more.

* Tom and Sabine are even more delighted and on board on sending Marinette to New York when Tony offers to let her stay in Stark Tower/Avengers Tower with the heroes and his Minions. Marinette of course asks if she can bring some friends, they’re not officially her team but she would feel better having them there with her. Of course Tony agrees because he could practically hear Pepper scold him if he said no and they continue to set everything up while Marinette calls up Alix, Marc and Nathaniel and ask if they want to go with her to New York to go to the Avengers Tower. It takes too long in her opinion to convince them that no. she’s not joking, and yes she is serious. 

* Once they get their parents permission they plan to leave on Saturday which would be in two days. It’s a little hectic, especially because Marinette didn’t know if she should take the Miracle Box or not but in the end she decides to leave it with her mom and dad, aka the new Turtle and Fox heroes of Paris. They had found out she was Ladybug a little after she had become the Guardian because she had broken down. Everything had become too much for her and Tikki couldn’t stand to see her chosen like that so she told Tom and Sabine that their daughter was Ladybug. 

* Marinette was going to take the Horse, Mouse, and of course, Ladybug Miraculous, to New York though. Her mom promised that she would text her or call her as soon as she could if they spotted or heard an akuma, and that they would fight it off until she got there. 

* When Marinette and her friends get to New York and meet Tony, he can tell they’ve fought in a fight children shouldn’t have to, but he doesn’t know how to ask about it so he pushes it back till he can think of a way to approach the subject. He immediately takes a liking to Marinette, he can tell she’s smart for her age, and he just likes her energy. 

* Then Tony introduces them to his Minions and Peter, Ned, and Harley all have a collective freakout because they are meeting THE MDC. MJ is, of course, happy too but she can at least keep her cool when meeting the designer who made Jagged Stone’s iconic Eiffel Tower sunglasses, the one who designed his Rock Giant album art, and the one who made his Roaring Dragon Jacket! Peter asks Marinette if she can sign his copy of the album and Tony thinks it’s all down hill from there. He can see the kid’s blush from across the room. 

* The consultation happens and Pepper is just as surprised as Tony was when she learns MDC is only 16 but she hides it fairly well. Both are pleasantly surprised by Marinette’s professionalism and are pleased with the overall talk about what they want out of the design. Tony even manages to squeeze in another suit for Peter because he knows the kid and he is not letting him wear a rented tux to his wedding. 

* Tony and Pepper have dinner with the kids and the Minions and it’s decided that they can stay for the summer, and no Pepper don’t look at Tony like that it’s not because he’s trying to help Peter get a date for the wedding.

* Then Marinette meets the Avengers. Thor loves her, but like who doesn’t Thor love? And who doesn’t love Thor? She is super interested in learning about Asgard, especially its fashion and she even talks Thor into giving her some fabric samples to work with. He just loves her enthusiasm and he appreciates her letting him talk about his home and his people. Marc and Nathaniel get a great picture of the two of them sitting on Thor’s flexed arms. Marc also loves to hear about Thor’s home and people and Nathaniel loves to draw him and those he talks about. 

Natasha accidentally sneaks up on Marinette, she never means to do it, it is just how she is, so when this little girl turns around in a flash with a pencil held in her fist as a weapon her eyes narrowed looking for the danger, she is suprised and has to stop her own reflexes from sweeping the girls legs from under her. She respects Marinette’s reflexes and the two spar and Marinette tells her she used to do ballet when Natasha asks her why her turns and spins almost seem like she’s doing a dance and Natasha’s eyes light up. The two bond over ballet 

Bucky, Clint, and Steve meet her one morning when they go to the kitchen and find so many goodies to eat and see this tiny little girl singing to herself as she pulls muffins out of the oven. She turns to them and smiles and says good morning before introducing herself so they do as well. When Steve introduces himself her eyes narrow and she hisses out, “YOU.” He’s so confused until she starts tearing into him about him hero suit. Bucky and Clint of course love this moment and will cherish it forever. 

She meets Bruce and he’s heard of this little terror from Steve and he’s thinking she’s going to tear into Hulk about wearing only shorts but then she’s shaking his hand and saying it’s an honor to meet you Dr. Banner, apparently she’s read some of his papers. And Bruce can’t help but smile for the rest of the day. 

When Wanda meets her she just hugs the little girl for a while because she hadn’t meant to see how her ex friends had treated her back in Paris but she did and this child needed a hug. Marinette had just been asking what material her jacket was made out of so they had touched briefly, then she was being hugged, but she didn’t mind, she figured maybe Wanda was having an off day and needed a hug.

Vision had just looked at Marinette and said, “Miraculous.” nobody knew what he meant but Marinette did and she just put a finger to her lips with her eyes wide with panic. Thankfully he got what she was trying to say and gave her a nod and small smile. 

Tony said there was more people for her to meet but she would have the whole summer to do that so she was content. 

* Then the first akuma alert went off when they were there in New York. Marinette thought everyone was sleeping when she created the portal and leapt through...she didn’t know how wrong she was.
