#and i want squirrelflight and leafpool and whitewing to be a friend group too!!!
Note
I really wish Daisy had more interactions with Cloudtail and Brightheart after the end of the second arc. I really like how mature Daisy was willing to see Cloudtail more as a friend and how she comforted Brightheart and told her Cloudtail really does love her but after that they don’t really talk much
right they should've become like a best friend group and become a trio
they could've used it as like a foil to the whole thing with ashfur, squirrelflight, and brambleclaw where when squirrelflight and brambleclaw became official ashfur got pissed and separated himself away from brambleclaw who had always been his friend instead of dealing with it healthily and stayed friends
unlike brightheart, cloudtail, and daisy where even if daisy had unrequited feelings for cloudtail she was mature enough to stay friends and get over it healthily and still have friendships with the couple
wait why am i thinking of an ashfur x daisy au now where daisy talks to ashfur about how he's not taking his break up well and is dealing with it unhealthily and she saves him from spiraling into an envious asshole simmering in his own toxic waste for years
and then they grow feelings for each other and get together and they have rosepetal and toadstep and maybe ashfur, daisy, cloudtail, brightheart, squirrelflight, and brambleclaw become a big close friend group
and squirrelflight canonically mentors rosepetal and cloudtail canonically mentors toadstep (and ashfur canonically mentors lionblaze) so that would be such good symbolism that ashfur and daisy trust their kits with and still are friends and have good relationships with the cats they had crushes on even though the feelings weren't reciprocated, they've grown and gotten past those feelings and all of them are good friends and love each other like a big family

heres my lengthy wc au that is loosely based off of sonic forces. theres a few details missing bc i was getting bored of typing jdhgfg
- Medicine Cats are allowed to have kits, as long as there's another or a Medicine Cat Apprentice around - Cinderpelt is still living, hence why Leafpool was able to have The Three with no consecquences - No one knows who The Three's dad is, but nobody really cares either since that's info moms can withhold - Hollyleaf is a Medicine Cat, while Lionblaze and Jayfeather are warriors...mainly because I always thought her name would fit a Medicine Cat :P. She knows basic combat however, since that's also a thing Medicine Cats learn in this verse - Lionblaze is a trans molly at some point, Heathertail helped her discover this. Mothwing AU reference I just decided to throw in - Dark Forest cats are manifistations of ones negative feelings, the more severe they get the more they can invade the living world, and spread that ability to others that are there. While the Clan cats are able to fight them off well, Ashfur, Sol and later Hollyleaf give them too much ammo - The Three's powers are a bit different; Lionblaze is merely just super strong and agile, not outright invincible. Jayfeather can still sense ones emotions and basically invade ones dreams, and Hollyleaf is able to sense morality. She can tell someone's intentions and overall viewpoint of the world from a glance. I need to think of weaknesses for all of them asfdgh - The Three are also still reincarnations, but also reoccuring ones like how She-Ra/The Avatar works. Their previous incarnations were in previous arcs beforehand, but died towards the end of arc 2 - Some Spirits seem to have enough power to reincarnate, the original Three's Spirits having that sort. However, some may have trouble doing so, and these usually are forgotten about - Oh and Spirits can't fade, so StarClan and the Dark Forest are fuckin packed. They're still big and endless enough though - There's also Spirits that just. kinda hang in the living world - There's like one name change here and that's Brambleclaw. hes Brambleflower now - Brambleflower and Squirrelflight are still mates by the end of Po3, cause there really isn't any reason to split them this time - Ships in this in general: FireSand, BrightCloud, SquirrelBramble, LionCinder, JayKestrel, HollyWillow, IvyBlossom, DoveBriar - Also Brightheart is deputy. That's a reoccuring theme with most AUs I have alongside Brambleflower and the Medicine Cat thing, but yeah - Ashfur had a crush on Brambleflower, but his already bad emotional problems causes him to slowly break after he gets rejected. Upon getting a surprisingly close friendship with Hawkfrost, however, he decides to get with him and move on. Then once Brambleflower kills Hawkfrost, he discreetly plots revenge and helps the Dark Forest invade the living world. When he dies, he goes to the Dark Forest specifically for Hawkfrost, disregarding redemption - Cinderheart obviously is not a reincarnation, she's just named after Cinderpelt due to how much they resemble each other - Jayfeather's stick is just a comfort item - Sol initially led a group of rogues, taking in any form of power they could get. He presumebly had some ability of future telling, which took the interest of rising Dark Forest cats. Tigerstar recruited him, but secretly killed the other members so he could further convince Sol to join his side...and he did - StarClan cats finally manage to find the lost two Spirits, the ones that were apart of The Four but struggled to reincarnate; so they faded away from sight. They are then granted more strength to be given new life, leading to the birth of Dovekit and The Fourth - They also watch over Hollyleaf, trying their best to guide her in the right direction. She does gain a new friend, a Spirit named Fallen Leaves, who also helps her realize she is not evil for what she has done, and that she can still redeem herself - Dovepaw still has her super senses, though this tends to give her sensory overload - Her powers make her popular among other Apprentices, leaving Ivypaw to feel incredibly left out and vulnerable to Dark Forest Spirits. She's also really bad at communicating her issues due to being so closed off, which leads her mind to be taken over by mysterious cats - She becomes a spy for the Dark Forest, while Dovepaw becomes concerned for her sister and overwhelmed by how much responsibility she has - As time passes, Lionblaze basically becomes Dovewing's older sister figure, much to the latter's happiness since her own sister seems to have left her - Everyone questions Ivypaw's distance, to which she reveals what side she truly is now on. As she says, the Dark Forest makes her feel like she has a sense of purpose in life, one she couldn't gain with the Clans. Refusing to listen, she leaves and stays in the Dark Forest for good in her eyes, and becomes Ivypool - While everyone feels betrayed, Ivypool's family is hit the most. Whitewing and Birchfall can't get over their kit becoming evil, while Dovepaw just feels..numb about it. Briarpaw comforts her - After Dovepaw and Briarpaw gain their Warrior, the tree incident happens. Briarlight is paralyzed from the waist down, and she stays in the Medicine Cat den for a bit so they can help her get used to it. She returns, mainly doing patrol duties since it's the easiest for her, cause she's constantly doing a handstand - In turn, Dovewing comforts Briarlight and helps with tramua that lingers after the incident - There's also a bit of Tigerheart and Bumblestripe trying to be mates with Dovewing, but she grows tired of them and tries pushing it all aside to focus more on herself - Sol, after cryptically appearing a few times, finally makes a grand entry and presumebly kills Lionblaze. Dark Forest Spirits start to full on invade the living world, and every cat in the forest bands up with each other to bring things back to normal - Lionblaze is still alive, but was briefly captured by the Dark Forest. She manages to escape, but finds herself nearby a city miles away from home - StarClan, knowing of the dire times, finally full on alerts about The Fourth's existence, sending Dovewing and Jayfeather to go find them. As it turns out, they're an infamous kittypet around the neighborhood due to their powers - The Fourth is recruited and taken in as an Apprentice, being heavily supported by Firestar due to sharing similar experiences - When some cats report seeing Lionblaze, The Fourth is recruited to go locate her. When they find her, they almost drown in frozen water after instinctly running towards her in excitement (they have been already told amazing things abouther). Lionblaze appreciates the love, but warns them to be more careful - Hollyleaf at some point returns, reuniting with her mate Willowshine. While some cats aren't fully trusting of her after what she did, her family wholeheartedly accepts her - There's also another point where Hawkfrost starts to feel pushed away by his dad, which leads to a slowburn redemption that causes Ashfur to calm the fuck down - I haven't thought much what happens inbetween, but towards the end has one big final showdown between the Clans, Rogues, Loners, a few Kittypets, and the Dark Forest - Hollyleaf almost dies, but Leafpool sacrifices herself for her - Firestar and Tigerstar have one, very long fight with each other. Both of them grow tired (Tigerstar may be a Spirit, but his form can still weaken), and after Firestar lands the final blow on Tigerstar, he lets himself get consumed by flames since he only has one life left after all - Hawkfrost, Ivypool, and Ashfur fully redeem themselves, allowing the mates to move on to StarClan while Ivypool returns to ThunderClan to reconile with her sister - Dovewing doesn't instantly forgive her, but is happy to see her sister back - Sol and The Fourth have a lengthy fight as well, with Sol ending up being defeated. The Fourth almost kills him, but they don't have the heart to do so. They discreetly take them back to ThunderClan camp - In the end, the living wins as Dark Forest Spirits are weakened and go back to barely being able to interact with others - Brightheart becomes Brightstar, Squirrelflight being her deputy, Hollyleaf is appointed Medicine Cat, Sol is allowed to stay in ThunderClan and be given a chance as The Fourth requested, and Ferncloud is still alive - The Fourth looks at the sunset while Lionblaze gives a small speech to her. Talking about limitless potential in life, and how you don't really need to restrict yourself. She then lets them choose what they want, to continue living in the Clans and help Sol as they wanted, or return to their kittypet life. They almost choose the former, knowing there's so much they left for a long time...but they kept a promise to Sol, and they feel more intuned to Clan life. So, they hurry back, and are given a Warrior name
