My favourite animated happy-maker films :) I’d probably list more Studio Ghibli films, but there are three here already (and also how could I not include Tangled and Rise of the Guardians when they played such an important role in my childhood!!)

#i was going to do five favourite films but i realised i already talk about them all the time already s;lkdfj sl;dkjfls; #but anyways these are five of the animated movies that make me very happy! #whisper of the heart is always encouraging and comforting to watch because of how much i relate to shizuku #rotg honestly has my whole heart because it is so full of hope and fun and adventure #howl's moving castle!! though it IS very different from the book i just love it :') #tangled is always a joy to watch #and i went through a strange period in elementary school when i just. rewatched ponyo over and over again #i've seen it at least five times now i think ? anyways it was certainly one of the ways i tried to Cope with change #tbh how to train your dragon and epic should also be here but i think they affect me in different ways #these five evoke a very specific kind of childhood nostalgia i think #songbird again
