yuuta exhibits such previously abandoned, recently adopted dog behavior. incredibly anxious all the time, even though nobody’s out to get him or leave him behind. waits for you to return home or from school or from work excitedly, just to see you when you walk through the door. follows you around senselessly, hovering in your space just for the sake of companionship. initiates affection in prodding ways—starts off next to you, then a hand on your thigh, then deems it safe to lay all the way down, then slowly pushes his head into your lap. gets up whenever you need to get up, and resumes his position as soon as you’re ready. brings you gifts as a sign that he’s thinking of you, and maybe because he likes the affection it brings out in you, maybe because he likes the gentle affirming touches of a hand in his hair or a pinch to his cheek. rests his head on your stomach or his chin on your shoulder when he’s sleepy, stays there, immobile, and will not move unless absolutely necessary. sometimes he gets surprised when he hears you calling for him, there’s a moment of disbelief as he thinks “me? really? you need me?” but it’s very quickly overshadowed by this compulsive need to show up, to please, to do anything for you, which is why he always answers when you call. he doesn’t realize that he has puppygod eyes, especially when he’s excited or confused, but he does and it’s incredible endearing. very reluctant to share your space or attention after a while, considers that to be sacred and he won’t risk being let go or lost again, so as a safety precaution, he keeps himself right by you, waits for you always.

You know, I feel like other trans people might get this, but it's honestly kind of refreshing when a cis person has, like, undeniable tboy/tgirl/whatever swag. It's like when you come across somebody who speaks the same language as you and you only find out when they start speaking it, too.

yes i'm rooting for m*leven breakup because byler is neat but mostly? i'm rooting for m*leven breakup for the sake of el and mike.
to me, their romance was always a puppy love born out of a combination of social pressures, naïve curiosity, and a lack of true understanding regarding intimacy and romantic love and what it really is. it was real in that they do truly, deeply care about each other and they are close friends, maybe even shared an attraction, but a maturing romance is so much more than that. they've grown up and out of being boyfriend/girlfriend, and that's okay! i think television/film needs to show more often that most of us don't have definite "soulmates" or first childhood loves that we spend our whole lives with. it doesn't mean these relationships meant nothing and didn't impact us, it just means they've run their course and that something else is in the cards, and this is part of life!
i've always felt el was at her best and most confident self when broken up with mike, discovering who she was and what she liked alongside another girl her age instead of just relying on mike for mentorship on how to live in the real world. she deserves more of an opportunity to find herself, her autonomy, and her independence, and to love who she is, and she's made it clear she's felt insecure in the relationship with mike because she isn't being loved and understood the way she wants, needs, and deserves from someone who is her partner.
also, it's okay if mike doesn't love her in "the way he should". he is not obligated to love her romantically and stay in a relationship with her just because she's a girl, because she "needed someone", or because he cares about her a lot. he shouldn't be pressured into a romance if it's not truly coming from his heart. he deserves freedom to find out and honour who he is, too, instead of just staying in his non-functional first relationship — one he got into as a child, essentially — and defining himself that way because it's what's expected when a boy and a girl are close. he loves her in some way, yes, but it's okay if he doesn't feel comfortable or secure being her boyfriend anymore, for whatever reason that is. he's felt insecure too, and that's valid and it matters.
they are their own people and are steadily growing and changing every day. they need time to figure out who those people are, and it's become clear (at least in my opinion) that those people aren't meant to be a couple at this stage.
they deserve freedom. they deserve to grow up and be authentic to themselves and not feel like they need to lie for the sake of a relationship. they deserve to move on from this version of their relationship that isn't making them happy and rekindle the best part of their bond: their strong, beautiful friendship. they don't have to be a couple if it doesn't make them stronger and better and happier people.
i think it would be healthy and wonderful for a show, especially one consumed frequently by young adults, to show a relationship starting, progressing, and ending on good terms in this way. sometimes things don't work out, and that is okay.

I've been thinking about writing truly toxic sterek... not abusive but toxic like I write it in a healthily unhealthy way but y'all couldn't handle Predators so I'm shaking my head at you
I'm writing it anyways 🤍 It's gonna be a historical au from Parrish's (probably) pov (stay with me) but he's gonna be enamored with Stiles who is already married to Derek and to Parrish's eye it's gonna look so fucking toxic and he would want to save his beloved unaware of the beast who lurks in the castle and hears everything that Parrish is saying to Stiles
And he knows Derek is crazy but he doesn't realize just how much. It's gonna be bloody and messy and have a plot twist and full of sterek just all sterek but through outsider's eyes and you're gonna see my vision it's gonna be incredible I promise

Really fucked up that two ppl can care about each other and make their best efforts to communicate and still end up hurting each other so badly they cannot stand to be in the same room.

- 🍓
Well, the rat is me (hello!), so I guess I could give Cross a hug if he needs!
But he should be warned, I am a bear hugger >:3c
And while I'm here hugging skeletons, if I could be serious for just a second (because any longer and I'll die of sillyness deficiency)
This is the anniversary of a really sad day for me, and if I hadn't had undertale to be obsessed with and distract myself I can't imagine how much worse it would have been. So I just wanted to say thank you for letting me jump into the fandom and make stuff and have fun, it really means a lot <3

to that anon I got about my last posts: if you're hurt that I'm talking about antisemitism on tumblr rather than the Israel/Palestine conflict itself then you're going to have to make your peace with a star wars blog not being an effective platform for activism.
This is the point I've been trying to hammer home perfectly illustrated. I deviated ever so slightly from what's allowed on the subject to say that I can't participate in this website's idea of 'raising awareness' (distributing real facts and misinfo alike without a care and being a bunch of fanatic Jew haters in the process) and that I don't think I'm able to critically and accurately examine every piece of news that gets passed around here, and you're taking this to assume I don't care. So no, I'm not going to spend my time trying to prove that I do care to that particular crowd.
You're upset with me for not treating this like I did fandom and assuming I value fictional characters more than real people because of it, but it's precisely because this is infinitely more important that I'm not going to be doing real people the disrespect of giving my two cents on their suffering and deaths on the same platform I did STAR WARS.

I really do need to talk about bungou to alchemists just to confuse you all. Like:
Chuuya manipulates Dazai, Oda, and Ango into growing a rice farm, just so he can have Sake to drink. And then before he can get to the rice Ango makes 100 bowls of curry with it. THAT IS AN ACTUALLY PART OF THE SHOW AND I LOVE IT.

「 Kim Dokja thought: Yoo Joonghyuk is now in the Gilobat Industrial Complex. 」
At first, I purely felt gratitude. Ah! Yoo Joonghyuk was a decent person! That jerk hit the industrial complex to save me! I felt thrilled for a while without thinking much.
Then once I thought about it, I couldn't believe it. That Yoo Joonghyuk entered the Gilobat Industrial Complex to save me? In the first place, it was strange that Yoo Joonghyuk knew about my crisis. How could a guy who wasn't a constellation or have access to a channel know about my crisis?
Thus, Yoo Joonghyuk was likely to do the opposite of coming to my rescue. He noticed that I impersonated him and came to the Demon Realm to pick me up. In the meantime, something went wrong and he headed to the Gilobat Industrial Complex first where he went through an unnecessary dispute and overturned the industrial complex. I couldn't even fathom how much rage it felt to do that.
Hey, remember when Uriel and Joonghyuk had that conversation about saving Dokja and Joonghyuk gave those absolutely atrocious excuses as to why he was "really" going to the Demon Realm, you know the ones that were so bad Uriel straight up started laughing at him right in his face?
Remember how Joonghyuk was soooooo obvious in his desire to save Dokja that nobody would ever believe his bullshit mumbling about 'usable items' or some shit?
Well great news!
THE ONE PERSON IN THE ENTIRE STARSTREAM WHO ACTUALLY BELIEVES JOONGHYUK'S UTTER NONSENSE IS KIM FREAKING DOKJA
In fact, Joonghyuk didn't even have to give his excuses, Dokja just thought them up all on his own!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Cullen Scarf 2.0!
So it's been a few months since I posted the first iteration of this and I have since completed this improved version (as a gift c:).
I adjusted the width to make it easier to wear, made it longer (~7.5 feet) so it can drape back around the front, and made the ruff detachable via lion buttons. The "fur" yarn I used on this one was waaaaaay easier on my hands, thank goodness.

Fenris | Morrigan | Warden | Leliana

i think it's equal parts sweet and horrifying that people look up to what i do here because on the one hand, i'm glad people like my weird edgy fandom retelling enough to read it every update and show support for it, but on the other hand, i assure you that all my fuckery isn't worth putting on a pedestal because 99% of it is me fucking around and i'm just waiting to find out with a swift and probably justified back-of-the-head punch from rachel LOL

The way he's not but then he looks at her, and sees that she's okay, so at least momentarily, he is too. His eyes / expression just getting perpetually softer. And this is, I think, the one time in the season other than the stargaze "head on shoulder" touch that Rayla initiates in the whole season as well
But like - of course, he's not okay
And the final hesitation before he takes his hands - unclasping them, now 'stained' more than ever - and hugs her back, because he won't refuse her comfort
After all, he did this for her:
AARON: But yeah, I think you're—you’re right in characterizing it as it’s certainly a more complex, you know, justification that is required to pursue dark magic. And there are some people who would not accept that justification. But what’s interesting about it is, you know, the questions, there are questions, you can you can come out on either side of it. You know, there are cases, you know, would Rayla have died if Callum hadn’t used dark magic? Yeah. I think she would have. So did he have to? Are we thankful that he did? Thank goodness—well yes, we love Rayla! Well of course we needed him to do that. You know what I mean? Then there’s some kind of morality that sometimes is based on your attachment. Now if you said, should Callum use dark magic to save one person, knowing that he'll—he may be corrupted for the long term and his potential to be, you know, a hero in the future may be altered and his potential to be manipulated or you know, go down the wrong path, all that risk to save one person? Well, now you might say, “Oh no he shouldn’t—for one person?” But then if I go, “But it was Rayla!” then you go “Oh no, [laughs] yeah, he needs to do it!” [KUNO laughs] So I don’t know. But it’s also even that, right? It comes down to “well, in that moment, what did he do?” Well in that moment, he took like a—I-I think the ingredient is a piece of a snake rattle [...] “He didn’t even kill it, it was already dead, it was already dead man, what did he do?” Well, I don’t know. He supported the system, so it is complex. It’s worth arguing about, a bit. There’s not a clear right or wrong. There are risks. There are long term consequences. Those are baked into it. But I don’t know. When—when it’s your Mom in trouble, what do you do? You do the dark magic! You save Mom, right? I do.
