I'm gonna be honest I have yet to find a fandom interpretation of Quynh that I wholeheartedly agree with or like.

#i'm saying stuff #she's always this... naturally violent or confrontational person even in fics set before the witch trials or in aus where she wasn't drowned #and idk how much of it is based on the comics version of her versus what little we see in the movie but... idk i just don't like it much #like she's a pit viper in a fight yes we know that but what is she like outside of a fight?? she doesn't have to be like that all the time #i have nothing against female characters who are like that but it feels like there's little complexity given to her outside of that #again this may just be the comics noriko influencing portrayals but comics noriko is very different from movie quynh #idk what i'm saying anymore but basically i wish i could find more fics where quynh isn't just the Scary Violent One all the time. #the old guard #quynh
